Well, as a current student, yeah, she's hard on me, but isn't life going to be hard on me? She is tough, but she wants ALL of her students to succeed. No other professor I know cared much about their students' success rate. Take Forensics.

There is quite a bit of writing and one collage, pretty easy class. She will usually give you a good grade. Maybe because of the topics being so personal and everyone has such great fear of talking.

Awesome teacher, No tests or exams, just speaches and more speaches. Talk to your class mates, that will help you with your speaking in front. Do your home assignments, turn them in on time. Easy A.

Amazing Professor!! There is so much to learn from her. Easy "A" as long as you do all the work and participate. She is wonderful and full of ideas and opinions.

Nice lady. Class is fair because YOU decide how you should be graded. You are not compared to other students'efforts/awards. I have learned a lot from her. Everybody should take this class, even if you FEAR P. speaking! :) :)

Don't buy the book. Copy the few pages for homework from the library. 99 percent of class time is spent hands on. She likes to talk to the point of sleepiness (yours). EASY A if you show up to class and stay awake (most of the time).

there is quite a bit of work for a speech clas, but its all pretty easy. she talk A LOT, so be prepared. 75% of the battle is showing up to class.

I learned a lot form this class. Stick with it, do whats expected of you and it is an easy A.

She is very easy, she offers extra credit and accepts late homework. Quizes are easy. Sometimes she might get upset when irrelevant questions are asked.

I took this class during intersession. It is a really easy class. We had no finals. We just did the speeches that was it. Take this class especially during intersession. NO QUIZZES! NO FINALS!

Not too bad of a class. She is nice and easy to talk to. Not too much work and it becomes a pretty good class

she is the best teacher in grossmont college. everything was so organiz in her class that it made it fun to do the work and earn the points ( which there is not a lot of work to do).. she very funny when she is making the expressions of her students.. take her class she is the best.

What a really nice lady! I had her fo small group comm in the summer. Her group activities were a lot of fun and got you to think. Her group tasks are interesting and challenging. Participate actively and your papers will be graded with favor. Ask for extra credit and recieve bonus points worth a test! She likes her students to take an active role

Great teacher. Nice lady, make sure you dont get on her bad side though. Only 2 tests equalling 50 points. Offers up to 50 extra points, you do the math. Theres a little bit of work, but if you do it will have an enjoyable time in her class. Shes is very knowledgable on her politics. I would recommend her.

Shes really knows her stuff, and has alot of experience behind her. So you know she wants her students to do well. Overall, the work is pretty straight forward. I took this class for intercession and I enjoyed it and got alot out of it for being a short course. Just follow her direction and you got an easy A.

great class and teacher. 5 quizes,very simple 5 homework, pretty simple and two debates which she also grades easy on. sometimes she can be boring but its you cant fail even if you try. plus she gives lots of extra credit points.

Teacher is very long winded.. some of the things she says doesn't really apply to real life, but she does try to help. I enjoyed her class.

She's a nice lady and she wants you to do well. Very laid back but that's because she's more so of a coach than a prof at forensics. It'll be a good few more semesters.

She is OKAY... I mean, she is not a bad teacher, but she talks so much on one little thing and it never stops, so make sure you get enough sleep before going to her class or else,ur gon' fall asleep.. If something she is not expecting happens, she gets really upset and starts shouting especially if someone tries to tell her that she might be wrong.

This didnt seem like Adv Public Spk, it was so easy! No quizzes/tests, just speeches. In the beg, youll turn in notes from the ch. in the book every week, but that ends after the 2nd month. I think I had a bad bunch of students in my class, cause she always seemed stressed out to see us and would occassionally PMS out. But all in all I give it an A

Super easy class, don't expect much work at all. She sometimes gets on tangents and won't stop talking, which becomes angering by the end of the semester.

Super easy class! Ms. Tuscany grades all work quite easy! I took the 6-week summer course and there was no textbook for the class. Just 3 reading assignments with notes to turn in, 4 homework assignments, 2 quizzes, and 2 speech debates. Easy A! The only thing is during the summer class, we were in class for 4 hours, twice a week!

Easy A. Very clear in expectations. Read the chapters, turn in notes, type outline, deliver speech. She talks too much, other than that easy class.

I loved Roxanne's Public Speaking intro class. The complainers are just lazy whining wimps.

Argumentation is debate class for those of you who dont know that. There is no text book and barley any homework. Her voice takes a little getting used to, but very sweet lady. Easy, easy, easy.

Very nice lady, if you had a question she would be sure to answer it. She appreciated people speaking their minds. If you did not respect her and you were lazy then she would be upset with you. Otherwise easy class!

Easy class. I took this class instead of Eng 124 and I'm so glad I did. Mostly in class assignments and group work, so show up to class.

Prof. Tuscany's class was great. The group fishbowls were fun, and by the end of the semester, it felt like the whole class had become friends. She is extremely knowledgable, organized, and a fair/easy grader. Just participate, and try your best.

Just took the 4 week summer course. Argumentation is an easy A just turn in the notes and show up. Roxanne is really nice but her lectures can put you to sleep. Take the class, you will be happy you did

Attending this summer class, a lot of people complained about Roxannes's teaching. In my opinion she was just fine, well organized, and very intelligent. Those who complained about her thought they knew everything, and probably thought they could teach the class. Overall, i recommend her, plus its an easy A if you do all the work and show up.

Nice teacher, does get off topic sometimes but is overall easy to understand and talk to. Lots of not taking but if you like to write you will do ok.

The best educator I have ever encountered, she changed my life around, she truly dedicates her time and the world is truly in dept to those who teach, I recommend to take her classes and she is my coach for speech and debate, she will change your life if you allow her to work with you, she deserves all the respect, the argumentation class is gr8!

This class was easy and fun at times. She tends to talk a lot and get off topic, that's really the only negative thing I can say. The HW was super simple, had a study guide for every quiz, the "final" paper was easy too, and working in small groups turned out to be kind of interesting, and made class go by quick!

Shes an excellent teacher! Very passionate about communication. Her class was enjoyable and all she asks of you is to respect each other and the class. You know exactly whats due and when, there are no surprises. Go to class, turn in assignments, and you have an A. Highly recommend taking her.

Roxanne Tuscany is a good teacher really passionate about her work, but her voice gets annnnnnoying and she thinks shes always right Just dont be an idiot and argue with her and youll get an A simple as that her testshw are sooo easy youd have to be dumb to fail easiest A youll receive just do your work and shell give you an A simple as that.

Professor Tuscany was overall a very good and helpful teacher. Depending on your classmates her lectures can be either pain free or it could consist of a long argument. She often engaged students in off topic debate style conversations during lecture, which I found distracting and irritating. But she is very sweet, smart and helpful.

This was a very creative class. And fun! The instructor was pretty helpful, and gives detailed feedback. She does not require a textbook, which is always a nice plus. She is also VERY lenient on grading and late assignments, so if you're a slacker, you're better off with her. But just like all communication classes, expect a lot of participation.

She is one of my favorite professors I've had at Grossmont College. I had her for two comm classes and she was great in both of them! There was no finals in her classes and the tests she gave were always easy! She is great at really explaining the curriculum. You can definitely tell she wants all her students to do well. Take her class!!

Ms. Tuscany is VERY passionate about communication. I took her during the summer for an intense 4 weeks, but I really enjoyed the class. Her grading consists of speeches, textbook notes, and critiques. She is very clear in her outline procedures for speeches. She gives good feedback and is very encouraging. I plan on taking her again.

Tuscany is the sweetest lady ever. Super nice, super understanding. She makes this class fun. You WONT regret taking her!!!!!

I had Roxanne for a year while on the Speech and Debate Team. She's tough. She will push you to do your very best, no matter how scary that is to you, but you will succeed. She pushed me, and I am definitely a better person for it.

Comm. 120 was very interesting. I enjoyed taking this course! I took this course during the summer which lasted about 4 week. Prof. Tuscany is great! I recommend you take this class.

Professor Tuscany is seriously amazing she was such a fun professor to be around and never made the 3 hour class boring. Time flys by in her class she really helps you with speaking and how to properly give a speech. She is so sweet. make sure to do your notes and prepare for the speeches which are simple just follow the outline. She is Amazing!!!!

Prof. Tuscany is a gem among the rest. She is open to dialogue and sees nuance in thought as a positive. I took her for an intensive 4 week this summer and it was truly engaging. I walked out of that class a changed person. Do the assignments (notes), prepare your speeches and stick to the outline. The rest is having fun and exchanging ideas.

This class had a decent amount of notes due, but she gives you a manageable time to complete them. I missed about half this semester due to personal reasons, but Roxanne was very understanding/easy to work with as long as I communicated with her. She was also very forgiving on late assignments. Quizzes you were guaranteed an A (study guide).

This class is mostly about sharing stories through speeches. You give about 5–6 speeches total. There's little in-class time to prep, but the professor gives great feedback. Homework is easy, and while lectures are rare, she tends to ramble when she does. Overall, it's a fun, low-stress class.

Professor Tuscany is a very clear speaker with clear guidelines and great feedback. A lot of the classes were a little boring and not very engaging, but I enjoyed sharing speeches I was passionate about and having creative freedom. I used to struggle a lot with public speaking, and I am much better at it now, even in regular conversation.
