Class is effective if you follow all the professors guidelines. It was an online course so the extra videos provided for each chapter will help you out. Good experience. My first online class.

This course was a little more difficult that Acct 134. But the video lectures and homeworks make it very to understand. The weekly class messages are also very helpful hints about the problems assigned.

Mr. Kamida is a very good teacher. He gets back to questions fast and is very clear when descibing things i didnt understand in this class

Took his online ACC 137 class and though it was a little difficult, Mr. Kamida provides ample resources to help you on your way to the finish line. His video lectures for each chapter are a must if you want to get the most out of the class. He is also always readily available to respond to emails and answer questions.

I took the Accounting 134 online with Mr. Kamida. I think he is a great online teacher. He gives a lot of helpful resources on Laulima, including chapter videos where he records himself lecturing. I have difficulty learning through online but he makes it simple. I recommend this instructor to anyone interested in learning about tax.

Spreads out his assignments throughout the semester so I had a lot of time to do the homework at my pace. I used the Tax Software because the dollar amounts auto-populated accordingly so I didn't have to use too much of my brains. I didn't have to manually figure out too much of the tax figures (TAXACT did it) Good teacher, resourceful, helpful.

The work assignments are really easy. However, whenever we ask him like a yes or no question, he answers where you have to figure out yourself if it is a yes or a no answer which makes it confusing. I want him to answer yes it is correct or no it is wrong, simple as that. Other than that, I recommend this class.

I took this class online, there was weekly assignments and two major projects. If you ask him a question, he answers and posts it to the announcements, but keeps everything anonymous. That was really helpful, and you weren't afraid to ask him questions.

This material covered in this class is difficult, but if you have questions, just email him and he will email you the explanation. The course can be pretty challenging if you have only taken basic taxes, but the grading is rather generous and he gives a lot of chances to accumulate points. Ultimately he is very helpful and very detailed and thorough. You know your grade exactly and you know exactly what you have to do each assignment because he explains it clearly.

This class is a continuation of ACC134 and is a little bit more difficult. It isn't hard to earn an A if you do all your work and review the chapters. You can ask Professor Kamida anything and he will help you right away. Overall, a really good class and definitely recommend. You get 3 exams, 2 projects, and 15 weekly assignments, which is not bad.

Very easy, just follow his syllabus and you'll be fine. I attended class maybe 5 times out of the whole semester and I passed with an "A". Excellent intro to income tax. The book covers a lot of information and has much more challenging problems in it that will prepare you to ace the exams for the course. Since the exams are all multiple choice and the questions much easier than some of the end-of-book problems, you should have no problems getting an A.

If you are a good independent then this class is for you. If not then you should take an in person class. There's a new chapter every week and then an exam after 3 chapters. There are also a lot of extra credit opportunities so make sure you do all of them to get as much points as you can. It wasn't a hard class, but there is a lot of work.

If you really want to get the most from this class then I suggest that you physically attend class. The online class is really organized. You basically have atleast one exam or lesson work to do every week (learnsmart, homework, quiz). All the work for each week is due every Sunday 11:59pm. Try to spread the work out and not procrastinate.

The only thing I disliked about this class was the publisher as there were many errors in the book.

This Income Tax class is a modern class. It is not hard as long as you follow all the "how to study lists" for Mr. Kamida. Watch & listen to his online videos before you read the textbook, and you will understand the chapter better. He responses to questions and concerns very quickly. Over all his is a good professor.

This course/material was very difficult for me but Mr.Kamida's class is very straightforward. Do all the work that is graded and you will get a good grade. It really is that simple.

I took his online class over the summer. Because I took it over the summer there was an assignment due every 3 days. Taking accounting online was a bit of a pain, and the professor put up his own instructional videos that were helpful. The class was based entirely on the connect plus of the book. He sent lots of reminders and responded quickly.

This is only offered during the summer as an online course at UHWO. I took this online course as an elective & for the CPA exam. Follow his instructions, listen & watch the video first, then read the book, etc. Do the quizzes, exams, and optional extra credit you'll be fine.

Read the textbook and keep up with the homework and you'll be good. Straightforward and no fluff; which is what I like. BUSA 414 isn't the most thrilling of classes but hopefully it pays out in the future.

Roy is a great professor. From the beginning he posted constant reminders of assignments due. He provided a fair amount of extra credit along with a whole spectrum of resources other than your textbook to assist with learning. The class is structured in a way where the fast pace of a usual online class isn't isn't necessarily realized.

This course is taught according to the syllabus given at the beginning of the course, there are no surprises. Just do all the assignments on time and do well on projects/exams, then you should complete the course on high standings. I really enjoyed this professor and how helpful it is with the "FYI postings" and would recommend to another student.

I took that class online and I felt I was taking that class on campus. Professor Roy answers to his email most the time I email him in less than 2 hours. I felt Prof Roy have a passion for what he is doing and care about student. If you take that class you will not regret and you will love it trust me.

Very straight forward class. Professor Kamida is for upfront about what is expected and holds his students to it. If you simply do your readings, turn in assignments on time, and pay attention to what he is asking you will do fine.

I've been taking on-line classes for the past 4 years, and Mr. Kamida has been much clearer with his instructions to our assignments, quizzes, projects, etc. compare from the other instructors that I have had. I did not encounter any difficulties following through his instructions at all, and that was an ease and stress free.

I took this class during the summer time. Mr. Kamida was well organized and he allowed ample time for quizzes, homework, and exams. As long as you read, you will do just fine. He was also very open to questions and responded in a timely manner.

Due dates were very manageable for a summer class, and the announcements gave insight on what we were learning about. If you had a problem, he would email you back very fast.

Like what all other people that took ACC201 online with him - it is NOT an easy class. Doing well requires discipline to do the homework, learnsmart modules and viewing the online lectures. The only chapter I thought was very difficult, even after watching the lecture and doing the homework and learnsmart modules, was Chapter 12, Cash Flow.

Professor Roy Kamida was a great professor. He was very professional with his knowledge and very prompt with his email responds. When I had questions or concerns about the Federal Income Tax class; I emailed him and he responded very quickly.

Hybrid class, came in for 50 minutes for a lecture that was EXTRA CREDIT and did all assignments on WileyPlus, which puts any course using the Connect website to shame. Loved the class - it was straight-forward, easy outlines, you might not get 100% on everything but if you keep up with the lectures and minimal reading, you'll get an A.

Prof. Kamida is a great teacher who knows his stuff and is well organized. If you take his online course, his video lectures are well made and essential to learning the concepts while the WIleyPlus interactive tuts are useless. He sends reminder emails on assignments due in the following days which is really helpful when balancing classes and work

Really wish I had more time for the amount of homework that was given. But Kimada was very good at spreading the work out and not making me overwhelmed at all. Loved doing my homework on Wiley Plus. And loved that he even shared videos to help us get through our homework for the week. Great online class!

I took Kamida's online class. It was pretty easy but I do accounting for a living so take my opinion with a grain of salt. There's a lot of resources in Wiley that help you understand more difficult concepts. Overall, I felt like it was an easy A.
