Prof. Kowsary is a really nice person who cares for her students. Before taking this class I had no knowledge of Greek Mythology and enjoyed learning something different. She is well educated and down to earth. She teaches you to be confident in your work and helps you to become better. Great person

At first I had no idea behind the reasoning of Mythology and Greek Tragedy. Now I realized she pushes her student to analyze what you read be able to get more out of lectures. She give opportunities to improve your grade. She's really easy all you need is a little more research.

I had this teacher 2 semisters ago; I forgot to rate her. She is a very kind, compassionate teacher who wants her students to succeed. She teaches clearly and well. You get in as much as you put in, but sometimes she gives you more than you put in ;). I recommend her for any and everyone.

She's a great teacher. Very patient and so into what she teaches. She was easy in the sense that as long as you tried hard on the HW, you received a good grade but the work she gave was thought provoking. Made you think and work hard, but she was a bit easy on the grading. Got more fm. class than I thought I would-will use many things she taught me

This professor is a very nice, kind, and understanding. yes she is into the Mythological stuff but not allot of constant papers to right. Is very fair and if you just do your work and it dosent get a great grade she will go over it with you show you mistakes and let you do it over for the better mark. class is laied back, she is a bit unorganized

I got A's in her class. She really easy with grading. She does not want anyone to fail her class. I find it very hard for any one to fail unless you never do any work. She is a little boring, but go with the flow. She is a great person and teacher. I highly recommend her to everyone.

If you fail this class, you are to blame. She is absolutely caring and helpful. Nothing wrong with her english.Attend theatres to learn more about different cultures, then u will understand her, as well as other teachers english. A real darling this professor. Great respect for ever individual.

I cant believe some of these people think she is a bad teacher.she give like three papers to write that are so easy and if there no done rite than she will give them back to you to fix for a better grade very understanding acceps late papers gives easy open note quizes you see films.NO MID TERM OR FINAL. I really wasn't interested in this class but Prof. Kowsary is a wonderful professor and very reasonable and easygoing. I took her for both WRT 101 and 201. Here's the thing: I took WRT 101 for Sum II last year, came in a week late and she let me make everything up. I got an A for 101 & 201. She gives papers back and lets u perfect it. She's great!!

wonderfully sweet woman. she really cares about her students so if you're having a problem just talk to her, she really understands. sometimes it is hard to understand her accent, but once you get used to it it's fine. the only problem is she likes to assign somewhat complicated essays.

Easy A. disorganized and into mythology yes. but still EASY. 3 papers the whole semester. easy and lets you hand them in late. or lets you correct them to raise your grade. open book quizes. EAAASY. id take her again.

4 essays, in class quizzes/tests, participation and attendance. Essay instructions are very straightforward. She gives out questions for in class quiz or test in advance. Always willing to help the students.

She is great!! very caring and understand all your situations, if you have family and children and you need to go, she let you leave. she also allow you to improve, for instance if you make an essay she go over with you and let you correct. I had her for com 101 and 201. I love her english pronuntiation, very well express. Is the best!!

Fantastic!!! Don't need to buy books! Most of the readings are online. Major plus, she actually cares whether you pass the class, she'll help you as many time as necessary. Most people who complain about her are the ones that would rather sit in class and be on their phones. It's a great discussion class. Highly recommend!!

It was a pleasure taking this Prof. No text book needed - summer semester. She thoroughly explains everything, she obviously cares that her students learn - staying late to explain if needed. Great readings and assignments, I wished the semester had been longer. It was inspiring.

I LOVE Professor Kowsary and her class was very enjoyable! It was a lot of work, but she kept me interested. I believe she is highly intelligent, and has an incredible ability to encourage her students. This is not a class for those who do not want to learn. I am very grateful that I got to take her class, and would recommend it to anyone.

In the beginning of the semester I was skeptical about taking Professor Kowsary's class but I?m so glad that I did! She really is a great professor and although class was boring at times we did a lot of interesting things. If you pay attention and attend classes you will be fine. I would definitely recommend her! No textbooks either

Fantastic teacher. She really wants you to learn so that in future classes, writing is a breeze. Her directions are clear and if you don't know what she wants, you're an idiot. She's willing to work with you so you get the best grade. Take her if you actually want to learn.

She was very helpful. Down to earth, and is really informative about the subject material. She gives you notes to take. a few quizzes which are easy if you read the material. Overall one of the best professors I have had.

I was in her class last semester. The class was boring and I always hate to go to the class as I dont think I learned anything from the class. The assignments are pretty easy and she gave pretty clear instructions on what to include in the essays. Overall, there wasnt so much work for this class and she is a pretty easy grader!

She's a very easy teacher. She leaves an assignment with all the steps and she expects you to complete and put effort. Most of my papers were written the day of and she accepts lates with a lower grade. TAKE HER!!! and don't complain

I took her class a few semesters ago and she really is a wonderful professor. I debated dropping her class in the beginning but I am so glad I stayed. She really cares about her students and although some of her activities are a bit out of the ordinary, I thoroughly enjoyed her class. I wish she taught more because I'd take her for something else.

She's UHH a good UHH professor uhhhh she gives few assignments uhh and open book quizes uhhhh other than that uhhhhh... *If you can handle her saying "uhh" a million times, you'll be good. She's boring, but easy. I wrote the essays 1 hour before class, and I'd ace every single one of them. You watch films too.

Prof. Kowsary is a great professor. Really nice lady and funny. She goes over with your paper to let you know your grammar mistakes etc... No textbook required.. I'm definitely going to take Writing 201N with her...

She is a fun, fair, and gifted teacher! She loves Shakespeare and teaches it with great passion. She wants you to know the historical background for every play and gives side assignments to dig up that info. We used about five different books. If you are a thinking person & serious about English Lit, she’s definitely THE one!

She's a little hard to understand sometimes and can go off talking about stuff that doesn't seem to matter, but it's not too bad! She's quite nice, and if you participate it is very easy to get on her good side. VERY strict about phone and laptop usage though, it'll make her very upset if you use them while she's talking. Not a bad choice.

She is very old school and will get mad if you use cellphones or computers during class. Her lectures are boring as hell and she use very complicated words. However, She is a great person and will explain whatever you need until you get it. Not great but not bad.

Took her for Writ 201, Basically I struggled a lot with writing because the citations and quoting is graded heavly.. But I would do a zoom meeting with her and she helped me, just try your best and if you are struggling let her know she will help. I recommend her compared to other professors. ULTIMATELY DO NOT USE AI LOLL
