This teacher really makes you think. She is one of the best teachers I have had, but you have to like to write. She is great, and I would recommend her to anyone. Fun class. Movies.

Ok, I took Dr. Murcherson's class 1 year ago (I believe the subtitle was "Writing About Film"). One of the better literature teachers that I have had. As far as the work goes -- yeah, I had to pull a couple all-nighters to get it right. Just know beforehand, that you can't bullcorn your way through . . . and she is fine !!

I think Dr. Murcherson is a great professor! The classes that she teaches are definitely alot more interesting than most! The class can be a little challenging, but not in a bad way.

The last two essays were tough, but not the worst. I would take another class with her for sure. And this was an 8-week course. Not bad.

Best teacher for this course. She takes so much time to help fix your papers. You get three times to submit for a higher grade. And I didnt know anything about business writing. Take her and be prepared learn even though you might have to do your rewrites. I get it now. You need to know writing to get a good job.

Good course because you can understand what you need to write about. I liked reading stuff on the same topic like TV and film. Made the papers easy to write. U get a grading rubric too. So u can know what points to get back when u rewrite. BTW..u get two rewrites on your papers for higher grades.

I thought the class was great and the textbook is free. Dallas college pays for it. Its a E book that is easy to navigate. Simple.. the grading was clear and the rewrite policy got me an A.. Just be responsible.
