She is new, so not in good teaching. Also, I would blame CS department rather than this professor.For homework, she dropped 1 homework to reduce stress on student.

its a difficult class so this professor gets lots of hate from losers who can't take a challenge. she's awesome and she goes above and beyond to help students sometimes at a great cost for her but there are always hater that don't appreciate the work done by others, and all they can do is come here to say horrible things. This is a great professor

I highly recommend this class if you are determined to learn. If you don't want to study, you will find a thousand excuses for not doing your homework. I wish she teaches more classes that way I could take more classes with her. Her examples of polymorphism and recursion were so helpful that I used them to study for other CS courses.

she lowkey sucked as a teacher, if you are new to CS I would not recommend her as she knew python but was kinda lost when it came to technology in general (idek how u can do that) but if you have background knowledge absolutely take her, she does not have mandatory attendance and the hw will be easy. BUT, I only knew if/only statements nd was fine

excellent professor, she has real world experience in industry, her lectures are interesting, and she teaches pretty well, there are some rude students that are lazy and arrogant, but that is not the professor's fault that students these days have no education

This is an amazing introductory class. The Professor is always in the classrooms and she teaches all the topics that are grader. Unfortunately, there are some very lazy students who want an A with no effort and they complain because they don't want to do any work. But the class is awesome and the Professor is awesome. Ignore the haters.

I learn a lot in this class and love that I was exposed to different programming languages. The idea of a beginner class is to get me exposed to different topics. The only problem in this class is that some students are lazy losers and haters. They want an A with zero effort and they get angry that they have to do the work to earn a grade. Losers.

Don't listen to the haters, this is a very good class. The Professor is always there and she helps us. The ones who do bad is because they don't care but that is not the Professor's fault. Negative reviews are fake. The Professor said talk to her before or after lectures and has working days in which she is there whole time to answer student's questions. She said talk to her in person instead of email. We sign up for websites but all of them are educative, that's what students do, no big deal with learning with platforms and AI tools

this professor is good and the class is fine only problem is you'll find here senior CS students who are jerks, ignore the jerks and become friends with the nice students, ignore the haters, there are lots of nice students in this class too

Wonderful teacher and wonderful class

Teacher cares about her students heavily. She makes sure we are not stressed, keeps a positive attitude despite some negative feedback, and wants to make sure we all pass the class. One of the best professors I have.

She loves all her students and wants to give her best effort to start us on our journey in CS. The course has no obvious or clear lesson plan and feels like it jumps around many different topics.

She is a brilliant teacher, honestly I want to take her class again. She is supportive and I always felt like I was learning something new every day. She's not a bad a professor at tall but she is gonna care about you and you will have earn your grade with hard work and discipline. She is great over all , she's not like other teachers at UNT.

Good for a 101 course. Homework was easy, tests were easy. I did struggle in the lecture a little bit, her accents a little thick. But other than that, pretty good course.

Professor Borge is a very sweet lady who cares about her students and is flexible with her deadlines for assignments/homework. The only thing I would tell her to improve on is her lecturer delivery. She mainly goes over slideshows and does some coding practices. Her quizzes are straight out of the Python for Everybody vocabulary section.
