He is pretty strict about talking and gives daily homework, weekly quizzes, and bimonthly tests. Sounds like a lot, but he goes over homework and answers all questions. Math is hard for me but i did well in that class cause i did hw and studied

Decent teacher who will only get better. (It was his first time teaching 190) Just do all the homework and ask questions on the ones you have trouble on and you should be fine. My only advice for Rudy is to do all the homework he hands out before class so he doesn't have to think too much while hes doing it in class(saves time) Recommended!

I absolutly loved this teacher!! i took his math 130 8 week winter session.He gave a fair amount of homework. Tests and quizes weekly,which actually helped! ALWAYS had our grade changes available! Attendence was important but he made the class fun.he would make jokes without even knowing =] he's funny! i highly recommend this teacher!

Rudy is exteremly helpful, and looks out for his students. Like any math class, HW is essential to doing well. His HW and Quizzes are critical to passing. Loose on attendance, allows late hw. If you contact him in advance, he'll let you make up quizzes/tests.

Easy 'A' if math is easy to you. I took him for summer session and although there was a lot of hw, it was due on test dates. Try to keep up with the material and you'll pass. His reviews are the key to passing with an 'A'. Ask questions if you do not understand.

Pretty average teacher on the whole. The experience will really depend on the person and he could use a little bit of improvement on his clarity. Overall though, he was always willing to help and really seems to need to communicate his subject. He relates really well with his students and is actually very nice. It was a positive experience.

If you do he will pick at u until he breaks u down. if u get the hmwrk u will do well. the hmwrk is brief and concise. i NEVER thought i would do so well in a math class.

This professor is really helpful. He always goes over the hw in the beginning of class and doesnt collect it until the day of a test or quiz. Just do the hw and you will for sure pass the class.

This teacher is super nice. The threshold to pass the class is not hard. You are expected to know how to solve problems. He will introduce you to concepts; however, will not expound on problem solving step by step.

He explains in detail what expectations are & gives students multiple opportunities throughout the semester to drop poor quiz & test scores.Beware that his finals tend 2 be difficult due to him cutting slack the rest of the semester. Also don't try his patience. He'll check you.

I recieved a high A in his class. I personally liked his teaching methods. But then again, I studied quite a bit and used my book as much as possible. If you take his class, you had better spend a large amount of time studying, reviewing your mathematics book, and going over homework problems. Other than that, he's pretty good.

I didnt have the good fortune of getting in this class, and was forced to try it online. Bad idea. I sat in the class once to review for finals (my teacher sucked) and I am certain that his 2 hour review helped more than the 15 hours a week I was spending preparing for the final. Aaaand he dedicated a song to his class. Pretty cool guy.

He is a really chill guy. He is very helpful and encourages the class to ask questions and help if you dont understand something. His grading on quizzes/tests is awesome because he gives you credit/points for TRYING to solve a math problem. Even if you get it wrong, as long as you show your work he'll give you points.Study his review for the final!

overall rudy is a very nonchalant professor. very ez to understand, homework assigned is from the book (usually assigned after each lesson), quiz questions usually consist of hw questions. pertty much just an enjoyable class. for those who math is not a strong point, i highly recomend this professor. :)

This class was pretty easy. There were no abstract concepts; just memorize how to use the formulas and you're good to go. He drops 2 quizzes and a test. In hindsight, it was a not a difficult class. He lets you out an hour early and does not really care for attendance after a few weeks. You can use the old version of the book; I bought it for $10.

Just do the hw even though he doesn't collect it. His quizzes are straight from the hw. He is very straightforward. He goes fast but he will help out too. As long as you study you will be good!

Professor Gonzalez is one of the best math professor's I've had at Citrus, for he's the only one I've taken! His lectures are so smooth, easy to understand, and his office hours are so helpful. His quizzes are based off his homework assignments so if you do your homework, you shouldn't have a problem passing. He also makes the classroom feel alive!

Professor Gonzalez is honestly one of the best math professors I have ever had. His lectures were incredibly clear, and I felt no hesitation in asking questions when I felt unclear. Homework was checked only for credit that it was done, however he gave lots of time to answer any lingering questions, and gave time in class to help with assignments.

Rudy is hilarious! Stats is pretty difficult to grasp, but he makes it so much easier & fun. He's accessible outside of his class, I recommend going to him for tutoring if u dont understand. You need to bring the book everyday. You're able to do homework problems in class & everyday he'll ask if you need help. He does the whole study guide for you.

Professor Rudy is an amazing stats professor. He assigns hw but doesn't check it. gives short test and quizzes some my think its a bad thing but i dont. His lectures are clear and is always helpful when i doubt. I reccomend anyone that has to take stats to take it with him. He's super chill with a sense of humor too so thats a plus.

Rudy Gonzalez is hands down the best STATS professor at Citrus. He teaches how to do the problems using formulas and the calculator(heavier emphasis on the calculator). He keeps it to the point and his methods are very simplistic. As long as you apply yourself it should be an fairly easy class.

Awesome teacher and class is so funny! He really cares his student even though you are a international student. Only have 7 quizzes, 3 exams and a final, no homework due. The quizzes are totally same as homework, and the exams are similar to the practice test. And he also gives enough time to let you write down the notes before erase the whiteboard

Rudy is a great professor and makes stats easy to understand! He is clear about how tests are graded, and wants all his students to succeed. After having to transition to an online course, he really showed that he was there for students and he made the class easy to pass. He also hosted optional zoom meetings for those with questions. He's amazing!

This man is a gem. He just wants you to show up and put in effort in his class. Honestly if I didn't have such a rough semester I would have gotten a better grade. Also showing up to the zoom meetings really helps you understand what's going on in class. He's funny and a great teacher in my opinion.

Professor Rudy teaches in a very understandable way. No homework is graded, but your class grade is made out of quizzes and tests. Professor Rudy uses questions from the homework to make your quizzes. They are short quizzes and also the tests are just a page or two long. He makes his classes easy and he cares about each student.

He is extremely patient. Quizzes are only 1-3 questions, then he drops the lowest score to help keep your grade up. We had several tests, along with a midterm and final exam. The midterm only went over the 1st half, and the final when over the last half of the course. Doing well on the final can help a previous low-scoring test. Great professor!

This guy knows what he's doing he's accountable and wants to help his students. I have never been good at math but this class helped me a lot. Be prepared for a quiz at least once a week there are also three big tests a midterm and a final.

I took Math 165 during the summer session. There was a good amount of work each week due to the length of the course, however with time management it was possible. I would recommend this class, the professor is understanding and flexible if you communicate effectively and put effort into learning from the online lectures/ textbook.

I had professor gonzalez this past spring semester, absolutely amazing. I've struggled with math my whole life, and he made the class so easy and understandable for me. Very patient and really cares about his students and wants you to understand the material.Hw isn't mandatory or turned in but is highly recommended for tests. Definitely recommend!!

All assignments were on StatCrunch which gave feedback and help right away so I didn't interact with him, but the class wasn't hard at all, it was easy but sometimes the assignments were long. There was about 4 assignments due a week and 1 discussion board to talk about something you had trouble or wondered about, it was a really easy class.

I am not naturally talented with numbers; I needed this statistics class as a requirement to transfer. I had taken this class three times before and just could not pass it.
