Very easy and enthusiastic, she accepts late work but takes 5 points off for each day its late. We have to do journals and seven essays from Aug.-Dec. Alot of the things she teachers we already learned in elem. school like comma rules and proper punctuation. She always says "Does that make sense?" -remember this and u'll smile when she says it.

Honestly i am not that smart and that is the truth.. I especially do not like English but I made an A in her class... The Exam and Mid Term are easy. She is a good instructor... Oh yeah she does talk a lot.

Professor Ramos is a great teacher with a big heart she really cares about her students and will help you in anything possible. It is very easy to pass her class. No hard work just little assignments and easy papers. She will tell you exactly how your papers will be graded so there is no surprises. I would highly recommend her.

I absolutely dreaded taking this class. This class was easssy! I had a total of 10 journals as long as you follow the journal guidelines you are guaranteed to make a 100 everytime. I had to write a total of 5 essays and 1 research paper. Take this class and you are guaranteed an A.....

She was extrememly easy! 5 essays total all about 2 pages only with easy topics. Weekly short quizzes, yet she only takes your highest 10 grades out of 18! (and they're super short/easy!) HIGHLY recommend! [warning: she rambles thought...] haha!

Dr. Ramos is very nice. Her class was the easiest A I have ever made. She is crazy and all over the place but a good teacher. She talks non stop but if you can get past all that you will be glad you took her.

I took Ramos for all of my 3 English classes! She is crazy, but of course in a good way! i could relate to her very easily! if you show up and pay attention, it's very hard to fail her class, she will help you in any way she can to pass you! i LOVED her and taking her classes!

If it weren't for the fact that we had quizzes almost every class, I wouldn't have even bothered showing up. Ramos talks to you like you don't know anything and I didn't learn a single things in her class. She never takes a breath and spends hours talking about her home life, which I don't care about. Steer clear.

She was a great teacher. She will help her students and encourages them to come to her office if they need help. We had 18 quizzes, but she gives the answers to the quizzes. She makes sure that all her students pass. We had 5 essays, she does not grade hard though. I will be taking her again. She is one of the best teachers.

Very easy, especially if you already know how to write well (which you should, considering it's the 1302 class). She only requires the papers to be 2-3 pages (but the topics themselves are really only good for about that much). She does all that she can to get you to pass. Highly recommended.

I took Dr. Ramos' class online last Fall. Very nice person, and she answered my questions fairly quickly. I appreciate her clear teaching method being English my 2nd language. This was the 2nd time I took this class (dropped before) and I got an A, even when the work became increasingly hard during the semester. I felt I learned a lot. Take her! :)

I took Engl-1301 online this past fall semester. Pro. Ramos is the best. She is very helpful and will answer any question on e-campus blackboard within 24 hours. She is very organized and clear with her due dates. Even though it was an online class, it felt like was a caring community of students and teacher that helped each other out. GREAT CLASS.

I took her for 1301 and waited for her to be open for a 1302 class. In both classes she explains everything to the max so everyone understands it. She is very helpful!! If you have something going on, she will encourage you to keep going! She is truly the best out there! I am looking forward to taking her Literature class!

I took her ENGL 1301 class! I was extremely easy. She is straightforward with her assignments, only 4 essays (compare/contrast, argumentative, descriptive, and how-to), a research assignment (which is easy) and has journals to do! I did not attend her class for the most part and still got an A! Strongly recommended!!! and i did not buy the book!

Her class is pretty easy and straight forward. You do have to go to class though to get credit for the group quizzes. They are very easy though. She does allow late work but takes off points. I took her during the Summer and made a B because I missed class a lot and turned in all of my essays late. Just don't do that and you'll get an A.

Took her class online. She was cool. Everything explained well enough to not have me ask questions. Pretty easy as long as you do the work. Her communication is good. She lets you know when she's behind on grading & will push essay due dates back. Overall: an easy online class

Great professor!

I took 1301 Hybrid meaning I would attend class once a week and everything else was done online. I loved the ability to do the assignments ahead of time. Very straight forward class. You can not go wrong with choosing her class, she is very smart, and funny. She is most definitely Eastfield's Finest! I had to sign up for her 1302. TAKE HER!

Best professor ever! She is very helpful and organized. Her syllabus is simple. She will go over anything you need help with so you can understand the material. She is such a great person and has a kind heart. Other professors need to take notes and learn from her!

Dr Ramos is a bit flamboyant. She is very into herself and her accomplishments. That being said, you will learn in this class and if you pay attention and can write fairly well the class is not difficult to pass. There are assignments and online quizzes designed to give you a boost for your grade. Papers are short and if you do them you will pass

It was a hybrid class. She is interesting, makes learning fun. She is also very considerate if you have a special request. The class requires a lot of reading and writing. (My God!) and she is very meticulous in her grading. Follow her instructions and you'll be fine.

She is one of my favorite professors i've had and I would love to have her again. She talks a bit, but it's definitely useful to listen. She loves to bring out her book in every class and pull references from it. If you still don't understand an assignment, ask her after class if over and she's more than happy to help clarify. & she's super spunky!

Great class. Textbook is an e-book and writing assignments are about yourself so very easy to construct.

He wrote the textbook, which I actually read because it is dripping with sarcasm and really enjoyable. The assignments/papers were clearly outlined, and he responds to emails very quickly. Took this class online for Summer 1. It was a little annoying having to write a paper every few days but obviously that was expected. A few short & easy quizzes, 4 DB's and 4 Essays. The professor is a fast and fair grader. The class was very well organized and easy to follow and best of all an e-text book is provided. Would definitely recommend.

This class was really easy. Total of 15 quizzes but could be done early and each one takes about 2 minutes. There's 5 essays during the whole, gives you plenty of time to complete each one. Also has the last two weeks available to turn in any missing essay. Has a final exam for extra credit if failing. Sends friendly reminders about missing work.

I have honestly enjoyed having her as my professor. I always swore I wasn't good at English, but she has paved a way that makes writing every paper so simply that you can't mess it up. She's easy to get in contact with and works with you on deadlines!

Update, after getting through the syllabus, it was not bad. The work was not overwhelming but you do have to be sure that you do not fall behind on assignments because it can become overwhelming if you fall behind. Overall I enjoyed this class and would recommend it.

Had Dr. Ramos for 1301 and 1302 back to back 8 week courses on both and I absolutely loved her class it is super easy and straight forward. Great instructor! Dr. R makes you want to learn English. She makes it plain and in lecturer you get it and she makes sure you get it. 1302 was harder than 1301 but I made a B in Comp 1 and an A in Comp 2. Crazy huh? We had a great class. Miss those ladies and Dr. R.

Taking ENGL 1301 with Dr. Ramos was very enjoyable. She explains the prompts thoroughly in class and helps you improve your papers. She also has clear grading rubrics for every paper. There are 10 easy tests that you can retake and 3 essays, and discussion board assignments. I love this COVID 19 online course because she responded and is very reasonable in how she grades. She also gives a lot of examples so read the structures. She is easygoing and she cares... Highly recommend. Easy A if you give effort.

I took her for the may-mester and as long as you follow the examples she gives you (and also try your best) expect an A. She is super nice and gives you everything you need know which also helps you on the papers. Quizzes were supper easy and had three attempts each quiz. Overall a great professor!

We had 3 Essays, not including the timed about ENGL 1 mini-essay the last was the longest and hardest and was 30% of our grade. It is so so hard not to use the word YOU in essays but it is doable just wasn't by me Take this class!!!

Professor Ramos is exceptional! Exceptional syllabus and guide to follow. I now use the syllabus and guidelines given in this class when I write papers for other classes. Extra credit is available. Professor Ramos gives good feedback and is very responsive to emails sent. Follow the syllabus and rubric for grading criteria and you will do great.

Dr. Ramos is the kind of person who likes to talk a lot and fast. There were a few times that it seemed like she was a little off-topic, but the way she talked about a real-life experience when she explained the sort of essay we would be writing, it kinda all came together. I took an 8-week class so it went by pretty quick but she was interactive.

Professor Ramos was amazing! She gave great lectures and made sure you understood her assignments. Her essays were not too bad and would give you several examples on how to write your papers. I would recommend her 100%.

Engl 2311 was easy. Took it as a flex term so things moved pretty quickly. Their are clear deadlines. Assignments consist of 10 DB (100 word response), Peer response 1 person ( no min words), 3 projects (resume, instructions, technical report). Highley Reccomend.

Great English teacher! Helps to make sure that you understand the assignments so you are not confused about the writing. Attendance isn't mandatory but it does help in points at the end of the semester. I'd recommend coming because after she explains what the essay will be about you're allowed to leave.

Her assignments are: Timed essay (very easy),10 quizzes which you can re-do. 3 discussion boards and 3 essays. No test at the end of this class. The only thing is that 3rd essay is 30% of your grade so just follow her instructions and you'll do fine!!! Don't hesitate JUST TAKER HER!!! 10/10 RECOMMEND. She cares of students Maymester24' grade:86%

Took Dr. Ramos for a flex term, even though it was only 8 weeks the course was very easy and straight forward. Very do able you just need to do your work and you will pass. She overly helps and overexplains but I know she means well, she care about her students and wants you to pass. My class was a tough crowd but I though she was funny.

Class: 2024FA-ENGL-2332-41701-World Literature This class was easy, and Prof. Ramos is great at fast grading & communication! Light grader! You will have reading journals, discussions, & quizzes for 3 readings and catch up weeks! Besides the 1000 word Capstone Essay, the weekly assignments only take a single day out of your week to complete!

Professor Ramos is a boss! She engages her students through relevant assignments and shows she cares by speedily addressing your needs. I feel seen as a human being in her courses because she is an artful listener and creative who inspires that in her students. Learning from a seasoned author is an opportunity of a lifetime, take it. Absolutely amazing professor! I took her for Comp 1, and she was just the absolute best. You don't have many assignments, and she literally lays out the exact steps to get an A. I will be taking her again for Comp 2. If you want an easy professor for English class, take her!
