this guy amuses me to no end. he keeps us entertained by spinnin in his chair and throwing stuff at students. he made me like physics, which i didnt think was possible. his lectures are fun and well prepared. in my nickname, it isnt "in physics" its "party with rupinder!"

Rupinder Brar is extremely dedicated to his work. He manages to teach the material and still have fun at the same time. His technique help students with little or no knowledge of the subject. He's a wonderful person and everyone should have him as a professor.

I was a person who never understood physics which made me not like it, no prof. at high school could explain and get the concepts across properly. If you are one of those then, I assure you that after attending his lecture you will just love it.I ended up getting A+, and was a person who never understood physics. In simple words Rupinder Roxx!! :D

He was a great professor! I did okay in physics in grade 12, but he completely cleared up a lot of concepts that I had previously found difficult to understand. I'm so glad that I took his class!

He is an amazing prof if you don't attend you may miss major hints about midterms and finals but overall his teaching style is amazing he tries to keep the class involved.

This professor is great. He uses all the possible gestures in order to clarify things for his students and most of all he is fun and genius.

He really cares about the students and how well they understand the material, and he gives visual aids for people that are visual learners. I would take any of his physics courses just so that I could have him again (and I don't like physics!)

Great, funny guy recommended getting in his class!

It's physics so of course, if you don't put in any effort you won't do very well. But with Rupinder physics went from my lowest mark by a letter grade to my highest mark! He goes through everything at the perfect pace and there are absolutely no surprises if you go through his lectures. LOVE HIM!!!

Loved astronomy going into his class. His lectures were 3 hours long. But he made it a fun 3 hours. He keeps you interested, tells jokes here and there, always in a good mood and is very enthusiastic about his subjects. Overall, great prof.

One of the best professor that I had so far.... If you are doing life sciences, where physics in mandatory for the 1st year. Make sure you have Dr. Rupider Brar because he makes your life more easy and physics more fun to learn. He basically makes the most harder topic more fun and enjoyable. The best lecturer this university has to offer.

For once in my life I actually looked forward to attending physics class due to how clear Rupinder is in lecture. I finally understood concepts I previously could not. The midterms and exams were very fair with questions coming out of the lecture and assigned textbook questions, be sure to do the homework and tests will be a breeze!

Dr. Brar Inspires so much curiosity for learning in his lectures. I found that his class was what I was looking forward to all week. If you attend all the lectures, do all the tutorials, modules, and do around 60% of the textbook homework, you will be fine. Just pay attention and don't let yourself fall behind. He's by far one of the greatest Profs

As someone with adamant hate for physics, Rupinder made it much more fun than I expected. Make sure you attend and pay attention to lectures, tutorials/exams usually are faithful to lecture topics. Admittedly, I didn't do as well as I could've since I have no attention span.

Hands down the best professor for physics at UOIT. Occasionally had to use the textbook for sample problems for self-learning. However, his tests were fair, and he always made time for his students to help better their understanding, even if it was for LON-CAPA. I recommend him any day!

Rupinder Brar is easily one of the best profs at Ontario Tech. Despite physics 2 being a tricky course, he made even the toughest of topics simple with his amazing teaching style. I would highly recommend taking him for any 1st-year of physics courses you may have.

I wish there was an option to tag more traits but anyhow Rupinder is the all-time goat for physics. Considering he was a translator in the X-Men movie he's truly the best physics prof. He really gave bonuses, especially during the strike UOIT had. He is truly blessed to help students

He's an amazing prof. I had him for two of my courses. Just make sure to go to class and participate. He offers so many ways he can help, so be sure to use them. He also makes his course grading diverse, so for example, if you do badly in tutorials, your lab grades can help a lot. Put in the work, put in the hours, and take away a great experience!

He is a lecture master, he will grab your attention, make you laugh, and explain everything in the best way possible. Go to the lectures, it is the most important part of the course if you want to learn without studying for hours alone before a midterm or exam.

I used to despise physics in high school, but Brar helped me enjoy and UNDERSTAND physics! His teaching style and overall personality are one of the best at OTU, highly recommend.

I had him last semester for Physics 1010U. In my 3 years of uni, I have never missed anyone's lectures/teaching more than his. A genuine, phenomenal guy, no wonder he got the award for best lecturer and a 5/5 on rate my prof. If you ever get the chance to take him, DO IT. don't question it, you will love him wallah.

Amazing prof, his lectures are engaging and you can tell that he is really passionate about the content. He clarifies and explains new concepts really well without assuming prior knowledge, even re-explaining things that were already explained in previous lectures. I would 100% recommend attending his lectures even if you are not in his section.

He is clear and concise regarding the material distributed. Even with a second professor (Dr. Valeri Kapoustine) he is able to effectively organize material with the interest of his students in mind. His exams are clear and on topic regarding the material he encouraged us to review prior to such exam. Overall Dr. Brar is a wonderful teacher.

One of the best profs I've had. Brar's lectures are engaging and he really cares about student learning. Attendance is mandatory but worth it - use Unstuckstudy alongside the free textbook for great prep.

Rupinder is easily one of the best professors at Ontario Tech. Very knowledgeable and explains physics concepts well, it's obvious that he truly enjoys teaching. The world needs more people like him! And did I mention that he's also quite a tall guy at 6 foot 5 inches?

For anyone worried who did not take hs physics don't be, he teaches it as if you are a 5th grader. My little brother could learn from this prof he is that good. As long as you don't fool around and listen in class you will succeed. He is a great prof and always answers questions properly, I recommend this prof to anyone looking to take physics

I'm in engineering, so I miss having profs like Dr. Brar for my classes. His lectures are crystal-clear, and makes hard subjects like physics easy to understand. I used to hate physics in high school, but taking his class back in first year made me love it. Grading is also very fair. Highly recommend him to anyone taking first year physics!
