He is highly recommended in my long experience of horrible fccj teachers. He is down to earth, not boring, funny and very sharp. He deserves a strong A for his efforts in helping his students and I must admit that I learned a lot from his class.

Russell was awesome. This was the first class I ever took, and it was great. Not to mention that English is also my least favorite subject. Russell was a really easy A as long as you do what he asks. It was not hard at all. I will take him for 1102 also. He uses the same book for that class also. He does not require the other book listed.

wonderful teacher!! easy work only 3 papers and is always willing to help!! learned alot in his class and I am currently taking enc1102 with him it is the same and you only need one book for the two classes!! I highly recommend Mr Flint!

Awesome teacher!! made an A in this class, and he was extremely helpful.He goes right to the point and if you had any questions he was always willing to help..he required ten journal entries to be turned in by the end of the semester, and you do a presentation on anything that interests you.

Extremely good teacher!! I recommend him!! =D He uses the same book from english 1 for his english 2 class, 8 journal entries were recommended to be turned in by the end of the semester..but he is always helpful!!

Great instructor. Very helpful. Very hot! (keeps your attention) Gets to the point in class and get out of there. Gives you time to get your assignments done. Journal intersting. Final paper you have to give easy presentation. Definately take his class!!!

His class was a lot of fun. As long as you do your assignments, then there is no reason you can't get an A. Once you see Professor Flint, you will have no problems coming to class!!!

Professor was fair and tells you everything he wants you to do more than once. He's easy understanding and do not ask for much. I'm a okay write don't like English had a few struggles and still got and A I would recommend him to any one that's not that good in English but want to better their skill and get more understanding in wring.,. TAKE HIM!!!

This was a good class, remember this is 1102 therefore somethings are expected for you to already know. Prof Flint is cool, I loved they way he explain things. However he does not respond quickly to emails but will stay after class to help you with anything. I made a B in his class

Prof. Flint is the greatest. Extremely fair in his grading and will deduct point if you're late turning in paper but gives a chance to re-write papers for a higher grade. I would definitely take him again

Hey guys! I took Professor Flint this semester. He is a good professor and always gives feedback to your essays and others assignments. However, be careful with due dates. He will accept late assignments but will take some points out. He leaves that clear for you on he first day of class. I lost 20 points from one of my essays for being 2 days late

Professor Flint was one of THE BEST professors I've ever had. You do read, a lot, but it is nothing difficult. He gives AMAZING lectures and really knows what hes talking about. Welcomes all opinions. Gives amazing feedback, super understanding. Please take if you need to take this class, Great class! And GREAT looking professor!

Prof. Flint is an outstanding teacher. He gives great feedback and is fair. There is some reading and several papers, but they're all 500 word essays and you can usually choose your own topic. All the reading assignments are easy and enjoyable. He is a great guy too. Just show up, turn in your papers on time, and it's an easy A+.

Professor Flint is an amazing teacher! Took this class online. He answered emails that day, he gives great feedback, and is very clear on what is expected that week. I HIGHLY recommend him! I learned a lot. Wish I had to take more English classes so I could have him again as a teacher!

Great Professor! He loves class participation and is very involved in his lectures. He likes the class to participate while he lectures as well. He gives amazing feedback on the papers and also gives you a chance to edit and resubmit for a higher grade. I would take him again and wish all my professor's were as great as he was.

He is AMAZING. I literally wrote a total of 4 essays. They are 100 points each & the final one is 200 points. The discussion boards are so fun and easy. A few in class writing paragraphs too but theyre easy!!!! His feedback is the best & he always answer within a day but usually less than that. Highly recommend, HIGHLY. The best teacher ever.��

He is a tough grader but it really helps and give you an understanding of exactly what he is looking for. I am not good at grammar and his class has helped tremendously. He always gives feedback and tells you exactly how to fix your mistakes. On the first 3 essay you write he allows you to redo them with corrections dor an easy A. I recommend.

I enjoyed this class and would take Russell again for English. Mr. Flint gave feedback in a timely manner and grades fairly . For an online course I thought he provided useful information and helped as much as possible. I would recommend taking him if you want to learn and become a better writer.

Dr. Flint was one of the best teachers I've had so far at FSCJ. He understands that his students have other things going on other than school, and is easy to talk to. He will extend due dates, and help you with any of your work. If you're considering taking him, I strongly advise you to.

Super awesome guy. Responds to every essay with feedback on everything you can fix and then lets you turn it in again for a better grade. If you give even a decent effort to do every assignment on time, then you will get an A. He makes everyone participate in class discussion and gets a discussion going that is fun all the time. This was my first time having Flint, he was pretty cool. My only problem with him is how vague he is. His class is focused on finding your writing method essentially but he doesn't tell you Exactly what he wants which makes it kind of hard to ensure you get the grade you want. I bought the textbook and used that ish once so don't spend the money

His reviews here do not disappoint, as everything is accurate. He will give you an 89 on ALL essays but makes it up with a chance to correct your errors for an A. If you know how to structure essays with the proper grammar and development, you will get an A.

Professor Flint was the best professor I have had online EVER! He responded quickly and was kind with his feedback. We only had 4 500 word essays that were so simple and for essay 1-3 he would let you make corrections to make the grade go up! I would take him again in a heart beat and he is great with feedback. Advice-Turn you work in on time!!

Writing and grammar are not my strengths, so I found the course challenging but still managed to make an A. Overall, I enjoyed Professor Flint's feedback and would absolutely retake him as he's very fair and engages with students even in an online environment.

Take his class, don't think twice about it! Amazing professor, I cannot recommend him enough. Breaks down the writing process so it is easy to understand. Answers emails promptly. Four essays in total and he lets you revise the first three. The last essay is the final. Paragraph assignments due each week.

One of my first online classes ever. He was very clear on everything. Had a lot of fun with his discussion posts and his essays. It didn't feel like a chore. He gives you good feedback and tells you what to fix in the essays. He lets you revise the essays after. His class was the only one I enjoyed. I would do his assignments for fun.

Professor Flint is an amazing teacher. You do not have to show up to class at all, but as long as you do your work and turn it in on time; he is completely fine with you not showing up for class. He does not ask for much. The quizzes are open book and discussions are very simple and easy.

Prof. flint is by far the best professor there is when it comes to learning! Super understanding and gives excellent feedback. He genuinely cares about students learning and goes the extra mile to help and explain. 1000% would take his. class again.

Took this as a 7-week course. Attendance is not mandatory, however, showing up for the live class does help if you're unsure about what he wants in the essays you write as he breaks them down and gives examples. Class is like 20 minutes since he would rather you work on your assignments for his class. Stays after if you have questions.

Great guy. This was an online class and its only about 20 minutes, he would rather you work on your assignments. You don't have to show up but I always did just to make sure I was doing my assignments correctly. Very laid back class and assignments are fun. Taking him again this upcoming semester. Don't miss out on him!

4 essays in total, but since I got a certain amount of points near the end to have an A, I was exempt from doing the last essay and final grammar quiz. I hate essays, but he's not a tough grader.

This is the best professor I've ever had in my life, and I'm not exaggerating. If he was my professor for every class I took, I'd probably graduate college faster than the speed of light. Professor Flint is an amazing English professor. took the online course over the summer. There were online meeting nights, but it wasn't mandatory, more so for him to be able to answer your questions and him going over upcoming coursework. There were 4 papers and 4 grammar quizzes. Some discussion posts. HE IS THE BEST!

He is one of the best professors I have ever taken. I cannot recommend professor Flint enough. Writing has never been my favorite, but this class changed my mind. I learned so much and enjoyed it. I took a seven-week course online. It was four essays with a couple of paragraphs, and I didn't find it difficult.

Professor Flint was easily the best English professor I have ever had. English has always been my worst subject and I had completely given up on understanding it before taking his class but he explained things in multiple ways and provided additional materials to aid in our learning. I have never learned as much from a Gen Ed as I did in this class

Professor Flint gives extra credit and does not require you to attend the lectures. he still joins incase anyone has questions which is super respectful! His goal is to make this course easy for students and excel to pass. I would have him again if I could!

My very first class and it was very easy. Professor Flint answered my questions quickly and kindly. He made sure everything was clearly explained and that you understood. There isn't a crazy workload each week. I really liked that I could work at my own pace. I would highly recommend his class to any beginners. He is fantastic!

His class was super easy. turn in your work on time One late assignment will literally mess up your whole grade. Don't be scared though because assignments are really easy. I took this course as a seven week class, so I had a little more work but still was super easy. Essay heavy but still easy

He was great I loved the little analogies or stories he'd use in his lectures. The lecture vides you could read or watch, as well as they were short depending if you did.
