I had Mr. A-B for a 3 hour long class, but his charisma and enthusiasm kept the lectures interesting and made them go by quickly. He treated the course as a self-improvement workshop and was extremely motivational to students & passionate about the subject. Although he is very textbook-oriented, I only read 2 out of 11 chapters and aced the class.

Overall Mr. A-B is a fantastic teacher! Class was very structured and is the same routine everyday. However, his lectures kept it far from boring. An easy A if you do the assignments on time. I took PSY2012 in Spring 2017 semester. Mr. A-B has amazing lectures and keeps them interesting so you won't be bored and dozing off. The class is an easy A if you pay attention and do the homeworks. He gives study guides for all of his tests (only 4) and there's no final. Extra credit opportunity is given. 100% would take again if chance comes up!

I took Mr. AB for a six-week summer course and could not be happier. He gives the best lectures out of any professor I've ever had and is always willing to help out. If you get the chance to enroll in any of his courses, do so, you will be glad you did. He gives extra credit and lets you know exactly what he wants from you.

As an older student, I thought this particular class wasn't going to teach me much. Boy was I wrong! Professor AB not only knows his material inside and out, but he does a phenomenal job in delivering it. His lectures are very interesting. He encourages us to participate. His class is not hard at all in my perspective, he is available outside of class and is willing to help you any time you need it. I trill recommend him!

Psychology 2012 was a piece of cake thanks to professor A.B, not only does he explain things in a manner in which we can all understand, but hes very passionate about what he teaches. Hes very approachable, gives great examples, and can have a discussion about anything. Take him. No regrets whatsoever.

I usually tend to get easily distracted during lectures but with his... it was the opposite. They were so intriguing and to top it all off... HIS CLASS WAS VERY EASY! He is a good professor because he is very explicit when teaching, and uses real-life examples. Although he sometimes gets off topic or talks too much about a specific concept, he is still a passionate and interesting professor. He gives a midterm and one final exam. He gives a study guide and as long as you review it you will surely pass.

This professor is a really good one, more than a prof, hes more like a friend you can talk to about anything, hes always willing to help people :) the only bad thing about his class is that there are only two tests which means he accumulates chapters for the midterm and final but as long as you pay attention to his lectures you will be fine

I took profesor AB my first semester in college and i did not regret it at all! He is understanding, caring, AMAZING, and amazing at lecturing. He is also open to new topics and to any new insights regarding the criteria of Human Growth; i would definitely take his class again!

Mr. AB was great and his class very enjoyable. The homeworks and quizzes are simple even if you dont read the chapter. He gives enough notes that you wont even need the book, but u should rent it regardless. Midterm and final are very simple as long as you pay attention. Fun class!! One of the COOLEST professor I met in MDC. He really cares about this students & wants them to learn. He gives you weekly quizzes which are so easy, can all be done in a week. Professor Adams-Barton (or AB as he likes to be called) is one of the reasons I have decided to pursue psychology as my major. He is SOOO funny and his class is super easy just do the work and you're golden. One of those profs that really makes interested in the material. You'll love him!

His lectures are amazing and he enjoys student feedback. lectures are recorded. he says that you need the textbook but honestly, he goes over everything you need for the HW in his lectures & anything you're confused about you can google.

Honestly had a really nice time during his class and he always had a way to make you feel welcome and socialize with his own experiences. Most of the book was super long but you can study via quizlet and the summaries. Hes chill.

The prev comment about being too laid back was FALSE. A-B did more than ANY of my other profs online to try & accommodate & connect w/ us. He never expected or asked us to attend on days we didnt sign up for, he told us from jump that online limits his passionate style. The only truth was that he is VERY knowledgeable! 10/10

I'll be taking his class for a third time. He's easy to talk to, very engaging, and does not overcomplicate things. You will have one assignment per week, a midterm and a final. All very easy because it's based on his lectures and homework. So, review those and you can easily pass his class with an A+.

AB is a lecture heavy professor, but it is all very well paced. He also engages a lot with his students. All of his work is online, so you can expect to have an assignment due every Sunday. All of it covers information from his lectures or are right from the textbook. Pretty easy class, and easily one of the best Professors on campus.

Professor AB is hands down the best professor I have ever taken. He cares about his students and wants you to use everything taught in this class for life. I have him currently for Psychology Of Personal Effectiveness and he is absolutely amazing. I truly learned a lot from his class and his lectures are good--enough to keep you awake at least. There is textbooks but, they're online and accessible. I would personally take another class of his.

I loved this class the only thing is that you have a 10 question quiz every time the lesson is over but it doesn't count as much as i thought he grades attendance and also the little questions that pops up during the lessons . Sometimes there a lot of miscommunication with him ... but overall he is great.

This professor loves to connect the topic to his own life or a relatable example so it can be better understood and it helps. He has questions pop up on the screen that are about what he just said to check for participation. Best thing is he provided an Exam study guide with everything needed and it helped me not overthink and pass the exam.

hands down best professor i've ever had. no midterm, super easy final. i would take him i again if i could. funny, outgoing & motivating. highly recommend! you learn a lot about yourself and how to be a better person. hw is easy & pay attention to lectures and you'll pass!

Professor AB is THE best prof I've ever had. He teaches with so much passion, uses real life examples and is a very funny storyteller. Attendance and participation is graded weekly, so definitely make sure to show up. No essays or unnecessary work, and the homework is very easy if you pay attention and take notes! Would HIGHLY reccomend taking him.

This man CARES about his students. This man stood out and is by far the professor out of all that I will remember. I am not a PSY student but i went in for the credit and when class had ended I had learned so many valuable discoveries, there was topics I still have conservations on because of what I learned from him. This man TEACHES WITH HIS SOUL!

Mr. A-B is very passionate about what he's teaching, and he explains topics in a way that's easy to understand. He's a great listener, and he's fantastic at making everyone feel welcome. He takes his craft very seriously without having to make it difficult for students. Make sure to do your work and put in the effort. You'll learn so much.

Such an amazing professor. I wish I could have taken him for other psychology classes. He lectures the entire class, but it's very interesting, and he's funny and makes it entertaining. Assignments, quizzes/tests, are very easy. The final project was easy and fun to do. He's very understanding and caring. Take him, you won't regret it, I PROMISE.

Great professor. Weekly chapter assignments very easy. One final exam which was also very easy as long as you pay attention to his lectures and hw assignments. Very funny and kind professor. Would definitely take again!

One of the best ever professors ive been with. His lectures and teaching style are amazing and he became one of my all time favorite professors and favorite class. So much so that i was considering to change my major to psychology.

I've taken Prof. Adams in person and I have to say, I loved his class. His course does rely on the text book, so make sure you read the designated chapter before the start of his class. Participation matters! His assignments are not that difficult and he is overall a great professor. I 100% recommend him.
