I hate math with a passion, but with Mr. Adams's teaching, I started to love it, and I passed with a friggin A! Now I had to work hard, but he is so helpful, and so fun, and he tries so hard to make sure you pass to excel with your career. And he always lets you out early! If he teaches any other math I am taking, I will definitely take his class!

Math has always been my brick wall.I was wondering if I could even make it thru developmental math. Mr. Adams always takes the time to explain everything in detail and never made me feel stupid no matter how many times he had to re-explain things. He is my first math teacher that has taken the time to actually "teach." He is a very talented teacher and while still only in his mid 20's, he controls classroom behavior while both receiving and giving respect. My guess is that he will be highly rated for a long time.

Adams was the first professor, especially math professor, who ever broke down everything and never assumed everyone was on the same level. This is the professor you want for Stats... He gives in depth reviews prior to each chapter test, which mirror the actual test. The homework actually prepares you for the tests, unlike other math instructors... and he explains the material in a way that's easy to understand. About 1/3 of my class finished with an "A"...

This Professor I would Deff recommend! He is clear in his explanations and the examples he gives with his lessons are very helpful. He incorporates the calculator in some difficult equations which is always a relief. Over all a math teacher I would really suggest

He grades tests based on whether or not you understand the concept, not on if you got the right answer, which is great if you're not super great at math.

He makes a study guide & sticks to what is on it for the most part. I am horrible at Algebra & passed with an A. Not easy but if you try you will do fine. Highly recommend.

Professor Adams is the most amazing professor ever! He is very clear as to what he expects out of students. Take his class if at all possible!

Mr. Adams is a nice guy and helps when asked, but I didn't really like his teaching method. He is fast paced, and I had trouble keeping up with note taking, due to this. I am absolutely horrid at math, so I need to be able to take extensive notes and it's very important that I'm shown every step of a problem, or I get lost easily. Lecture heavy.

Mr Adams is an excellent teacher. He gives a lot of homework and assignments but it's because he wants you to (a) understand the material & (b) it gives you more opportunities for grades. His tests are hard because they aren't much like the reviews. I will definitely take him again for future math classes.

Professor Ryan is a great teacher. He is very knowledgeable in the subject, and he explains everything in a very clear way. Lots of homework and assignments, but nothing is too difficult. Tests are nearly identical to reviews, and he is always available for help. Attendance is mandatory for the grade but not for understanding. Great guy!

Best math professor I ever had

I'm an incoming freshman coming FWBHS;now, I took AdamsRyanPanda, whatever you want to call him, for Trig and Calc 1; as an incoming freshman just trying to hurry up and get out of here, you bet I'm looking for easy A's, and I'm an engineering major so math with him makes my life a lot easier. If you want a guaranteed A+, do all the odd problems

His lectures are a bit tedious to listen to, but maybe that's because I dislike math. He's incredibly helpful and will answer any questions on assignments, even on the day it's due. You have until midnight the day it's due to turn in an assignment, so if you forget it's no stress. Tests you on concepts, not difficult problems.

If you do the assignments and follow the study guides, you will do well in the class.

I completely stink at math but some how Prof. Adams made statistics easy to understand. I definitely recommend doing the suggested problems he assigns (which are not graded) if you are not confident in your ability to apply your knowledge of the material. You have to try to not do well in order to fail in his class.

I took Prof Adams for College Algebra, and I thought he was great. He gives many examples that students can relate to, and he helps whoever needs help. Attendance is optional because he posts an audio and visual stream of all of his lectures on D2L. He is clear on his feedback, and is a funny guy. In my opinion, he's the best math teacher on campus

AMAZING! I have had him for MAC1105, MAC1140, and STAT2023 and he is one of the best math professors I have ever had. He is extremely helpful if you ever need help and is very organized. He records his lectures and puts them on D2L if you need to rewatch them. He is very smart and can be a little wordy sometimes, but will always help if you ask!

Prof. Adams is an exceptional instructor. His humor during class keeps it upbeat and he is still well able to pass the material off to his class without losing the ones who give it an honest try. If you aren't going to put in any effort, it will be as hard as all other courses. However, follow his instruction and you'll have no problem passing.

I have put rating Mr. Adams off for over a year, until I had other teaching styles to compare him to. At first I thought he was ridiculous, he made us organize a binder and take excessive notes, but after moving on to other math teachers I appreciate his teaching style more than ever. He is a great instructor and loves to teach.

Great teacher. He is a fair grader, and gives partial credit. We had one assignment due a week that were difficult. In the end it helped to understand the material. He gives great test reviews and his tests aren't overly difficult. If you know the material you will pass.

I took Ryan for Calc 3. I loved the class I wish i could have taken him for DE. He does like to challenge you on the assignments but the tests are clearly focused on the concept of each chapter and or section. Very good teacher and funny too! Do the suggested problems and assignments and you'll pass.

My favorite Math teacher ever. I took him for Statistics and Intermediate and he is just phenomenal. He has patience and explains everything throughout. He also uploads each lecture to D2L so you can keep referring back to it when you need it or missed class. I would recommend him to anyone!!! And I hated MATH.

Professor Adams was great. I wish I took him for Calculus II the first time. The second time around he was a much better teacher than the first teacher I took. He records lectures and uploads worked problems so you have plenty of help to look over as much as you need. I would recommend him for any math class.

I got a B in calculus 1 and was scared to go into calc 2 because everyone said it was so much harder, but I thought Adams taught it super well! He made the crazy problems seem almost simple and he graded the test very easy considering it's a hard course! I'm graduating but I will deff come back in summer to take courses I need for my major with him

This dude is honestly the goat, I'm not good at math and was worried about taking stats over the summer and ended with an A. Go to class, do the practice tests. He gives you 2 that are the same problems that will be on the test, in the same order. all content including lectures get uploaded to d2l. Taking him again for trig this next semester.

He is so good at keeping the class interesting. I am good at math in general so his help definitely upped my chances of passing. Since I got mostly 100's on everything, so when it came time for the review before the final I slept through class and aced the final. He never got mad at me for sleeping either. He is super helpful and cheerful in class.

Professor Adams made college algebra clear to me. He teaches in a way that everyone can understand, and he is great at answering questions. He posts homework and video lectures online, which comes in handy if you miss a class. He grades his test with a point system, which makes it easy to get good grades if you just attempt the problems!

After having a terrible experience in calc 2, Mr. Adams' class was such a refreshing change. He provides the lecture notes ahead of time and if printed out makes class really easy. So, I took Professor Adams for many classes (Trig, Cal 2, Cal 3, and DE). With him I only got A's. He is the best math instructor in my opinion. His assignments are there to help students prepare for tests and he makes sure his tests are able to be done within the time frame. His lectures are funny and I would take every single class he teaches!

I wanted to wait until the end of the semester to review to make sure it was accurate. He is by far the best math teacher I have ever taken. I honestly have never felt good about math until taking him. Do the study guide he gives you before the test, if you know the study guide then you WILL get an A on the test. Prof Adams is the man. Solid math teacher. Take the traditional course and go to class. Home work is easy, you can knock it out using math way, and when it comes down to test time, he gives you 2 review sheets that ARE THE EXACT FORMAT OF THE TEST!! Live by those!! Professor Adams is amazing, he seems like he really cares. If you have a reason for being absent, just talk to him about it. As others have said, work your practice tests and it's all A's. Unfortunately I didn't realize the value of the practice tests until the end of the semester.

I've had issues with the teachers at NWFSC but Adams has been fantastic. He is easy to understand and posts his lectures online so even if you miss a class you can still get the same content as everyone else. He always responded to my emails within a few hours as well. Overall, loved his course.

Very nice guy and class for the most part is easy. Take notes for homework and then come to class and do hw on the computer. you can leave class once your work is completed so you can get out earlier. If you do the reviews for the tests then you will get an A! great guy really cares and lets you do test corrections!

Dr. Adams is amazing! This is honestly the first algebra class I've ever taken that I've felt confident in. He had us do all the homework in class, and every lecture/notes and reviews are posted outside of the class so you can tackle them at your leisure. He is super nice and easy to get along with. I would totally take him again!

I had a crappy teacher in high school, and ended up hating all that came with this course. Let me tell you Professor Adams made it as painless as possible. There's homework every night on mymathlab but you have infinite chances to get a 100 and it's harder than what's on the tests so you will be prepared. Study and do the guides- you'll do fine!

Mr. Adams is a great guy who loves what he does. I had him for Calculus 2 and I will be taking him for Calculus 3, Linear Algebra, and maybe even Differential equations; he records all his lectures and his tests follow the style of his study guides. He also gives lots of partial credit.

Great professor! I had him for Stats and Calc 2 at the same time, but that wasn't too bad. His tests barely follow his study guides, unlike Calc 2, but if you understand the material, you will be fine. All tests, for all of his classes, are out of 105 where a 100 is a perfect score with 5 points of extra credit. Great professor.

An excellent instructor--(especially good at prompt communication, good use of technology, and quick grading). I highly suggest going over the test reviews to help prepare you for the tests. Very lenient grader if you attempt the problems. I would have liked to know what questions I missed, but no big deal. Math isn't my major but he made it fun.

Prof. Adams was a great guy, very funny and goofy and he legitimately cared about his students but I would only recommend taking his class if you already have a solid foundation in math. He wasn't great at walking you through if you're math-illiterate like I was. He was lenient on grading and gave a lot of opportunities to increase your grades.

Took during summer and even on a shortened schedule all material was covered and explained in an easy to understand manner. He was happy to give us assistance outside of class and was extremely friendly. 1 chance to make up half credit for missed test questions for test w worst score. 10/10 taking classes with him again.

Gives plenty of assignments to cushion your grade. I am not great at math but he made makes test review videos and has you turn in your notes on the lectures for a grade. He is funny and dose not sound like a robot in his videos. Pro gamer so he is legit.

Getting into Professor Adams online class for Trig was great for me. It was a refreshing contrast to what other online math teachers were offering. From day one we knew exactly what was expected and when to expect it. There were no curveballs and no surprises. Just the flexibility you expect from an online course.

4 Tests, concept quizzes each section and a final. My Matlab homework for each section. Easy work, funny in the lectures, and an easy grader. He's easy to reach via email and I know he does have office hours available. A super caring teacher who has a passion for what he teaches! Just do your work on time, try your best and you'll be golden.

Good syllabus, records all lectures, posts all lecture notes, gives the perfect amount of homework assignments necessary to prepare for exams. Overall makes it easy to keep up or catch up when the semester gets tough.

Do the review! It is pretty much the exact test. I didn't do the homework because it was very annoying to do. I had a 99 in the test category and 70 in homework- I ended with a 94. It is up to you if the effort is worth it. He posts the worked notes online.

I highly recommend Professor Adams! I definitely would not have passed this class if I took another professor. He teaches well and makes everything more simple, and he truly cares about his students' success. I did not pay that much attention in class, but the study guide is very similar to the tests, so I passed the class with an A!

I took professor Adam's calculus class a year ago, and I miss his class quite a bit. Adams is a clear teacher with straightforward grading criteria, and fair tests. If you do the homework and the reviews, you WILL do well. Adams class showed me that I CAN do good in math. Adams is worth rearranging your schedule for.

He is very approachable and really tries to make lectures fun, relatable, and easy to learn as long as you put in the time. Calc 1 is hard but Professor Adams made it actually enjoyable regardless, I definitely recommend taking him if you can.

He uses my mathlab for homework and has 5 tests (including finals) He gives 2 different study guides that are exactly like test. The only difficult thing in this class is memorizing formulas as he doesn't allow cheat sheets. If you have certain test average you could be exempt from the final. Overall really interesting and fun teacher.

Great Math Professor! I AM NOT GOOD AT MATH. As long as you do the homework, show up, and make an effort, he will not let you fail. We were able to makeup points on our lowest test, that saved me. Our homework was online, the mathlab on campus helped ALOT. He is willingly to help in any way that he can. I would take a math class with him again.

Professor Adam's class was very straightforward and the course load was manageable. Weekly homework was on connect math, he does a review before every test, and provides additional test review material online. Everything needed to ace each exam is in the review. He was kind, understanding, and flexible when students had to miss a class.

The lectures can get long and it can be difficult to understand the material in Statistics. He assigns a lot of homework and it helps you figure out what areas you need to focus on, and then he usually drops a few at the end of the course. He assigns a lot of points to questions on tests and you get credit for showing your work.

Goes over 2 sections every week with homework to follow along. Homework was definitely harder than the tests. 4 tests in total, plus the final, but if you do well on all 4 tests you are exempt from the final. He gives partial credit on tests which is really nice and drops the lowest 3 homework grades. If you need this class take him!

Professor Adams was just wonderful. I ended the semester with a 103%. The test's max grade is 105, but it's still graded out of 100 in Canvas. Lectures cover everything.

I took Trig online with him. The Kultura Videos and study guides are exactly like the tests. He is understanding and really nice. I won't be taking any more math classes, but if I change my mind, I'll most definitely take them with him.

Covers the material in the given time as well as anyone possibly could. Knocks off worst test problem if you participate in the in-class test review. Allows you to earn back half of missed points on one test if you do corrections. The class is still hard, do the homework and practice the methods. Above average teacher, especially among his peers.

Best math teacher I've ever had. After just barely scraping by Pre-Calc with a low A, I passed Trig with an A+. prior to this I got Cs in math. His method of teaching is very approachable, you print out his notes and fill in the examples and add your notes to the pages. Fair amount of homework that focuses on basics so the big stuff is a breeze.

Great professor. Lots of homework on ALEKS. He does not require you to do work by hand; always pushes to use your calculator so it makes things easier. Forgets to publish the classwork on Canvas sometimes or makes a mistake with the due dates. Very accommodating though, would recommend.

STA 2023 wasn't an easy class, it required a lot out of me. But Prof Adams seemed to care about whether his students were learning or not. Lots of homework + little quizzes + recorded lectures, but there are great test reviews that he goes over and explains a lot of what we need to know for the test. Wouldn't mind having him as a professor again!

Mr. Adam's lectures and notes were so helpful and the homework load wasn't overbearing. His test reviews are extremely helpful and relevant to the actual tests. Dudes pretty happy about his work. He enjoys teaching and is a great teacher. The only thing is that personally the lectures are a bit fast for me, but I tend to work better at my own pace. There is a homework for each lecture, about 10 questions each some multipart. Also, a good bit of extra credit opportunities and he provides study guides.
