Ryan Bartlett is such a great teacher!!! He really cares about each student's success. I always looked forward to comming to class. He explains things very clearly, and goes out of his way to help you. I want to take him again, and DEFINITELY reccomend him to any student!!!

I had him awhile back. He's really cool and funny. He does look tired a lot but I think he's cute. Take this class EZ and youll learn.

Ryan Bartlett is by far the best teacher I have ever had. He knows his subjects, and he genuinely cares for his students. Even if you don't need the class, TAKE IT. You will have a better semester because of it.

I used to strongly dislike English and he made me love it. He genuinely cares about his students and is an excellent instructor.

Bartlett is so fun, so easy and is so caring of his students, he's renewed faith in myself and what I'm capable of. He grades very easy. He's funny and always makes me laugh. I look forward to his class, its also completely STRESS FREE! He's SUCH a great professor, I'm planning my whole next semester around taking his 101 class. Oh n he's ADORABLE!

Easy A, i had to write 5 papers in his class but he allows you to revise 4 of them. He's funny, relaxed and more than willing to help you with any questions or ways to improve your paper.

Mr. Bartlett is a nice funny teacher. His class is pretty easy compared to other English teachers. He likes to make jokes and keeps the class entertained. As long as you do your work on time you will get a good grade. This class is hard to get an F. i would definitely recommend taking Bartlett for English 101.

GREAT teacher. He is funny and laid-back. You get to revise your essays as many times as you want. As long as you try and make an effort in his class you can easily pass with at least a B. A lot of kids take advantage of him which i think he got fed up with at the end of semester. But anyway, TAKE HIM!!! He is the best.

ryan is the best teacher on crafton hills college campus. he has the talent of making english enjoyable if you dont already appreciate it. he is down to earth and easy to relate to. but most importantly he wants to be there teaching or at least he is really good at pretending to be.

If you looking to take English just to pass the class then take Bartlett. If you are looking to improve your writing skills then I would say find a different teacher. This class is easy, he doesn't take attendance, but not much is accomplished when going to class.

If you are looking to improve your english skills... don't take Bartlett. I literally missed a total of 2 weeks of the class and left with a A. DO the work and you will pass. He is super unfocused and cusses a lot through the class, which only encouraged the fresh HS grads. Great guy... wouldn't take him again.

Do not be fooled by some of the reviews saying that you don't learn in his class or that he jokes too much. Joking brings the class down out of the strict regiment you see in a lot of other classes students are more relaxed. I saw some of the worst writers go from writing garbage that made no sense to producing college level work. Take his class.

Professor Bartlett is awesome. Super approachable and understanding instructor. Class discussions are very engaging and he does everything he can to encourage you to analyze the literature and open up about it in class. He is fairly easygoing so you have to be self-motivated to an extent. Overall, I would definitely recommend him.

Fantastic teacher. I would take again if I didn't have so many core classes to get through! Always helps and listens if you have an issue. Not a problem to comfortably talk to and never mad. Willing to work with anyone, but expects you can do your part. Cannot tell you how great of a teacher he is! Assigns avg amount of hw for an english course.

Bartlett's class really taught me about the creative aspects of writing and I was exposed to many different types of mediums. As long as you do the work, you'll pass. Would definitely take him again. He usually has one group project you'll have to do, but they are generally pretty easy.

You have to be prepared to read & write in an English class. Astonishing, I know. I cannot tell you how many people complained the entire time for this reason. If you spend a few hour of your time completing the assignments you'll pass! It's not that difficult. Bartlett is great & is willing to help you pass if you're willing to do the work.

Bartlett is very laidback and easy going. It is literally impossible for you to fail his class. He also grades your essays right in front of you, goes over the mistakes with you, lets you correct them, and then allows you turn it in again for an A.

Mr. Ryan Bartlett was honestly one of the best teachers I have had so far in college. His class is extremely easy. The only way you won't pass is if you don't care. He gives you many opportunities to revise poor and/or missed work. He is caring and doesn't overload you with assignments. If you struggle with English, take this class! You can do it!

Nice Professor. You read two books, one is Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates (kinda boring) the other is Hillbilly Elegy by JD Vance( really interesting). Both have audio books if you want. You answer questions on the books. You write 4 essays you can revise for a better grade. Two hours long videos to write, but they're not bad. Easy.

He gives lots of feedback on essays and gives opportunities to revise them for a better grade. You will definitely pass his class along as you attempt to do the work and follow his suggestions.

Ryan makes this class a piece of cake as long as you try at least a little bit. Lots of essays but granted, it IS a composition class. He keeps it interesting though, and really makes gen ed requirements bearable!

Bartlett is great for improving your skills. The class lessons are also pretty engaging too. This is not a difficult professor. If you need the help he will help.

If you're looking for an incredible English professor, take Prof. Bartlett! He cares for his students and wants you to do well. Be prepared to read and write. I took the accelerated summer course we did 4 essays and a few reader responses on the discussion board. The expected respond to peers is expected. Required reading of Hamlet also a video on Hamilton and the papers were fun to write. He offers great feedback on how to improve your writing and lets you revise for a better grade. I highly recommend.

Best teacher I've had. Actually grew in my writing and comprehension. Gives back papers with corrections to fix if you want to earn full points. Take him if you want not only an easy A but to grow as a person.

Eng 102 is heavy on essays and weekly assignments. He allows you to submit papers then redo them to increase your grade. The professor wants each student to improve on essay writing and offers help. A real gem and my favorite professor thus far and I never even met him! Take him!!!

Professor Bartlett usually graded my assignments within thirty minutes of my submission(so much better than spending weeks wondering how you did). He gives HIGHLY detailed feedback and grades fairly. The work load was not too intense & the assignments were interesting/not hard. I would definitely take this professor again if I have the chance to.

Prof. Bartlett is the best prof. I've taken at Crafton. He is a really good person that loves to have conversations with the class. He is eager to hear what we had to say about every film we watched. The class is an easy A but there is a lot writing. As long as you submit the assignment then it's an automatic A. He gives good feedback on your work.

Wouldn't want any other professor for English. Amazing how understanding, kind-hearted Bartlett is. Super understanding about family/medical emergencies that may occur and will excuse you if you communicate and just shoot him a short email. Professor Bartlett is amazing, I took all three of his English classes. He is very caring and understanding if you have a family emergency or sick if you communicate with him he will give you an extra day to finish assignments. I recommend his class. If I can give him a 10 I would!

i took professor bartlett's film class and it opened my eyes afterwards. there are many more details in film that i didn't notice before. it's important to show up to class so that you watch the movies. the discussions after each movie are interesting and his homework is easy.

This class was so fun! All you do is watch movies and type papers about them (they're super easy). You don't need to show up for every class, but if you don't have any streaming services to watch the films, I definitely recommend showing up. He accepts late work up to a certain point.

Professor Bartlett's ENG102 class was engaging and manageable. The assignments were interesting, and he provided detailed, helpful feedback. While the workload was not too intense, his grading was fair. For study prep, I found Unstuck study and ChatGPT to be great resources alongside the textbook.

I highly recommend this professor. His classes are fun, and he is willing to help you succeed. His films are entertaining to watch, and he talks deeply about interesting topics. He also grades papers quickly and gives good and clear feedback. Very accommodating.

Prof. Bartlett is incredible and caring. Class discussions are fun and lively and his assignments pertain to the material while still being interesting. Three papers with assignments leading up to each one and the papers weren't difficult. He gives GREAT feedback to assignments. I would absolutely recommend him, take if you can! Really fun class.

While the classes were exceedingly easy, the discussions managed to be highly engaging, creating a lively atmosphere as not to make the experience numb. His feedback on assignments was informational. While It was appreciated how he always extended assignments, at times I wouldn't have minded If he was a bit stricter.

This class was honestly very enjoyable for me. Ryan is a very kind and understanding person, and his class overall was very easy. The class had a simple grading rubric, plenty of opportunities for extra credit, and was engaging even for those who say reading and writing aren't their cup of tea. I would highly recommend taking one of his classes.
