Bronkar is a very good teacher. I took his class a year ago and still remember the material. If you really want to learn, take him. I got an A in both courses, of course I had to work for it. You'll only think hes hard if your the type of person that doesnt do any work and is satisfied with a C. YOu have to work to get a C also.

He is a very clear and consistent teacher. Covers a lot of material can be overwhelming. Hang in there! Is always offering office hours wherever you need help. His handsomeness comes in handy when your mind goes off the subject at times.

Professor Bronkar is probably the best math teacher I have had in my college career. He explains the material so well and will go over any material that you may not understand over and over until you get it. I think he truly loves to help students understand the material.

He knows his stuff, but i believe he spends too much time proving things rather then teaching the students how to use the formulas and stuff. I guess that style of teaching would be applicable for students who aren't destined to be math majors. There was a lot of homework. Tests were very ver difficult, good luck!

If you're planning on taking his summer session, be ready for a ton of work (a semester's worth in 5 weeks) However you will learn a lot. Bronkar is very patient and cares about his students. If it wasn't for his class I wouldnt have passed Math 70 which I took in 2nd session. Because my Math 70 professor was horrible.

HE does an EXCELLENT job in clarifying strateges to solve a math problem.

Mr. Bronkar is one of the best math teachers at Rio Hondo. If you are planning to pass this class you need to take him. If you don't understand his lectures, there something wrong with you. He is crystal clear in his teaching method. But, be ready to do the work!

Decent but very boring/corny instructor. He's very systematic almost robot-like. Speaks in a clear but monotonous manner so it's difficult not to trail off in class. His bland lectures are not very thought provoking, same as reading the textbook. It's sad because Bronkar tries very hard to be a good instructor but comes up short in several areas.

I hate math and I took Mr. Bronkar this summer I found that he is only a hard teacher if you do not do the homework or study the materials he gives you. The quizzes and tests are based from your homework. There is a lot of homework based off of a website that I found helpful. I loved the class.

Prof. Bronkar is the best math prof. at Rio. Any questions, he will clarify with no hesitation until you get how to do it. There are many 1 questiion quizzes and numerous exams, but he gives you a practice exam to better prepare for the test. Attend class, do your homework and study the practice exams and there is no reason to get a B or better.

He is very nice and helpful. He teaches great and is very clear. BUT his tests are super hard! He does give a study guide, but it's much more complicated on tests.

He is a very good Calculus teacher. He will review concepts until everyone understands. He gives alot of homework, but it does help with the tests. His study guides are almost exactly what the tests are like, just with different numbers. Grading is fair because he tells you what he expects for each problem on the test.

He was very helpful, and extrememly detailed in his explanations. In some cases in discussing proofs for linear algebra I actually would get lost in his proofs, but he was more than helpful in simplifying the material to make it more than understandable. Lots of homework, but it prepares you for the exams, which are just a alteration of the sample

He is a tough tester. Attend every class because he moves through all of the material and will answer questions as he goes. Homework is a reasonable amount and didn't overwhelm me. But I bombed on the tests because he picks the hardest questions. TAKE HIM above the others just study the material and practice exams!

Professor Bronkar is an awesome Math teacher. Do the work, study the guide and your sure to pass the class. He is not hard if you pay attention and do the work.

Good teacher aslong as you take notes and study them you will pass the tests. The thing that sucks about this class is that you have to submit your homework online, and you have to pay a little extra for some code.

Mr. Bronkar is an excellent math teacher. I hate math, but Bronkar made it enjoyable through his clarity and sense of humor. He makes his lectures very easy to comprehend and makes real life anologies to what he teaches keeping class interesting. If you're focused and attentive, you should have no problem.

If you can't hack it in Bronkar's class, you'll do nothing but fail when you transfer. He is the most helpful and knowledgable teacher at Rio. Study sample tests, study homework and you'll be fine. And if you're in Calculus or above and can't do the Algebra on his tests...you should take a semester off and practice.

Best teahcer ive taken for math 70 and this is my second time taking it! Explains everything so clearly, step by step with sample test and homework that will actually be on the test... never tries to trick the students... if anything he is always available to help and explain everything! love it.. so far im doing great and i suck at math =)

His class is pretty hard if you dont study. Feel free to ask him questions. He really cares about his class. If you really want to learn something, take this class and you will be fine when you transfer.

He was amazing, his tests are the hardest questions he can find! You will have to ask questions and take advantage of his office hours. He loves his students and is the most organized professor. You will LEARN in this class not meant for the weak student. GOOD LUCK.

Ok so I gave a 3 rating because Math sucks and it's never EASY, but as far as everything else goes, (and as far as you're willing to apply yourself) he is an awesome teacher! He was really cute in my eyes. I think his appearance kept me always going to class. He's really nice and helpful too, just soft spoken.

This professor is the best math teacher ive taken. Hes very clear and helps you understand the subject better. The class is easy if you do all the homework and prepare for the exams by doing the practice exams and keep doing problems you mess up on.

I hated this class. He gives you too much homework to ever finish it on time and has you working on the next chapter before you take your test on the chapter you are working on. He moves too fast and lots of people failed my class.

Great Teacher

Mr. Bronkar is a great teacher and can sometimes be difficult when he piles up two chapter tests at a time. But even so, the class was enjoyable for the most part and you learn a lot. The only thing i was not used to was the two chapter tests at a time. Study with time when you take Bronkar.

I took him for both Math 050 and 070. He will make you work, but you will learn. He is fair with his grades and he really pushes the student. He is great if you are a true student and not just trying to cruise through life.

He knows hot to teach the class, but it was so fast paced for me a person that struggles with math I would of passed if it was he only class I was taking. It requires most of ur time and and effort. Hes really nice though ans funny at times.

So far the best Math professor I have taken a class with. He is a picky grader but he tells you right of the bat. If you study his Study guide and "similar to the test questions" you will do good in the tests.

Professor Bronkar has definitely been the best math professor I have had thus far. His lectures were much more clearer than the book itself, which helped me out a lot. He gave us sample exams which narrowed down what you needed to study,although his final was the hardest I've taken so far. He is a great although he is a tough grader.

Took him for Math 50 and Math 70. One of the few instructors here at Rio that wants the student to succeed. You will learn but YOU need to put in the time.

This is a very difficult course to take because it's harder to know these concepts than Calculus 1 & 2. But this teacher can easily answer your questions and clarifies explanations really well. His sample tests are pretty helpful, but it's also better to practice before taking the exam. He is a picky grader and does rush through the sections.

Great teacher. He explains math problems thoroughly and has no problem stopping and breaking something down if you don't get it right away. Best math teacher I've ever had. His class is hard however, and don't take it if you're a slacker, you won't pass. Plus, he's hot, I'm not even gonna lie.

If you do not make the effort, you won't pass. The material can be challenging, but he makes it as clear as possible - make sure to ask questions if you don't understand what's going on. He's available for questions, and wishes nothing but to see his students succeed. Would recommend getting tutored in MSCLAC, if need be. Overall great professor.

Lectures are very clear and helpful. used the textbook for HW, and other half was online. They're are quizzes every class, and he is a tough grader. In order to pass you do need to put the time to study, great professor !

Really good teacher. grading isnt too bad as long as your there, you'll understand the material. gives one extra credit, drops one test also for the final he uses the highest grade in class as the point system. he also gives about 6-8 quizzes through out the semester just make sure to do all of the homework and study.

Math has always been my weakest subject. Never passed a math class in high school, always had to retake them in summer school. Mr. Bronkar is an amazing and great professor. I read Professor Bronkar's rating on RMP before taking his class and decided to take the course. The class was not hard, but I struggled a lot because I have a very demanding job. I am pleased to say, that he worked with me and I am eternally grateful for him because of that. If you struggle with math, and need some guidance Bronkar can help.

Bronkar is a great teacher who wants his students to pass. He teaches with clarity, and has office hours if you need help. His class was tough, he is a picky grader but he tells you what to generally expect in his tests. Mr. Bronkar is always there for you if you need help. Lectures are concise and clear. He gives sample tests but do not expect the test to be exactly like the sample test. The problem with math teachers at this campus is that they don't know how to properly answer questions and make math clear. But Mr. B answers questions clearly and I personally loved that he would explain WHY the math worked out the way it did. You gotta out the time in to get a good grade though, just like any other math class!

Probably the best Math professor I've ever had. Unfortunately I failed, but that is almost guaranteed to happen when you miss three days in a six week course. I just finished retaking it (and got an A) but it was his class that motivated me to continue. His lectures were surprisingly engaging and helped me rediscovered my interest in math.

Sets you up to succeed. Quizzes and exams are based of the homework on Pearson My Lab, no surprises. Stats is not hard as long as you keep up and do the homework. He gives extra credit. Gives great lectures and is overall a great proffessor! I would definitely recommend taking him if you want to pass! He makes it easy, just do ur part.

Very helpful in office hours. If you are stuck on something, he will go through the problem with you and will make sure you understand how to get there. You EARN your grade in this class. Hats off to you if you get an A in his class. Take someone else if you want an easy A. Take him if you want to understand the calculus.

Professor Bronkar is a great professor, he is very nice and patient and does his best to explain the material. He gives a lot of homework but only because practice is important for the tests and quizzes. If you keep up with the homework and show up for lectures you should be able to pass.

TAKE HIM! One of my favorite professors. He is so nice and understanding. There is hw as there should be for a calc 2 class but it's not a lot. And he literally tells you exactly whats going to be on the tests. He is a really good teacher, and was really funny during lecture. I would 100% take again and I fully recommend.

He's AMAZING! I couldn't emphasize this enough, go to his office hours! He will sit with you and help you understand whatever it is that you are struggling with. Office hours and completing homework will be your saving grace. He drops your lowest test grade and replaces it with your final. He also drops your lowest quiz grade. 100% would recommend!

Tough class but an outstanding professor! Very clear on how he will grade things and what to expect for exams. Was always willing to help students out and even stayed after class to help students. Amazing professor! I took his Trig course online and found it to be pretty smooth. Material can vary in difficulty, but he is thorough and will give optional lectures on basic mechanics like algebra/geometry as refreshers in his lecture for those who need it. His exams are based on material on the homework/lectures so its easy to study. Highly Rec!

Amazing teacher for statistics. His homework is exactly like the test and his study guide as well. Does not try to trick you and if you go to his office hours he is very helpful and patient. He will not make you feel dumb for asking a question. Lots of extra credit assignments as well. 3 test only.

Took his Stats class my first college semester(22). It's a lot of lectures but he explains it all so well and is always willing to clarify, answer any questions you may have and help. He's very soft spoken, kind, and makes conversation with his students. This guy a homie fr.

Professor Bronkar is great - explains concepts well and gives helpful study guides. The homework is similar to the tests, so if you stay on top of it and use resources like unstuck study, you can do well. Overall, a manageable class if you put in the work.

Bronkar is my favorite math professor. He's very professional and encourages, but doesn't force, students to participate. Lecture is important!!! Very easy to fall behind, but he's very approachable if you do. He's silly and shares stories often, VERY caring and an amazing professor! I wish more people participated, you can tell it makes him happy.

Calc 2 over the summer was very demanding, but Bronkar made it as fun as it could be. He is very kind, and his study guides are exactly like the test (which helped out a lot during a fast-paced course). Very cool professor.

Best Calc 1 Professor. Professor Bronkar spends alot of time explaining topics too make sure we would understand. Answers any questions, so don't be afraid to ask questions. Gives practice exams. Is very test heavy so make sure too practice the exams(55% of grade, 4 Tests/Exams).
