I avoided taking anatomy for years but Professor Cabalu made the class really easy to understand. He will give you extra credit points for tests by participating in review games. Don't be afraid to approach him if something isn't clear because for this class you will need to study hard! Also, fair warning, the guy loves his pop culture analogies.

I hate anything that has to do with science but Professor Cabalu made this class interesting. It's not easy but he's there to help you and actually makes you feel like an equal. He will not fail you if he sees you trying, just go to class and attempt to do well. He's hilarious and a huge nerd. He's also pretty hot.

Exams are usually every 3 weeks. You typically cover a whole chapter in one week. Test tend to be like the review. He does extra credit and review games for exams.

He is the coolest professor. There is a lot of material to learn but he teaches it in an easy to understand way. He give EC and study guides as well as a review game before each exam. He is also a huge nerd, but in a fun way! This has been my favorite class at SAC so far. I'm just bummed he's not teaching A&P 2 next semester. :/

If your retaking AM&P he the teacher to get. He will help you and give you pointers on what might be covered on the exam. For people who are new with A&P you need to remember to study. This class is general a lot of information and not easy. Also if your class is acting out he will give pop quizzes.

Professor Cabalu is one of the best professors I've had. He is extremely helpful and makes Human A&P super fun. He gives you many chances to succeed and pass his class. Just remember to study, go over the reviews and you'll pass his class.

Awesome teacher! He loves his job and makes you want to learn. This is A&P. Even though reviews are handed out ( which are awesome) you still need to study to pass! One of the best educators I have ever learned from. Teaches PowerPoint style, but is very engaging with his lectures. Very clear on grading and offers extra credit with near every assignment. Always available for scheduled office hours and will respond to questions right away. Challenging, but rewarding for those who are committed to success.

I decided it would be a good idea to take A&P in the summer which is about 4-5 weeks. I pity anyone who doesn't take Mr. C. He seriously was a godsend, the most fun and coolest prof. Read and study or else you'll fail though, We started with 30+ students and ended with 13 or 11. It's a tough tough tough class, but I loved every minute of it.

Take him! He is a phenomenal professor and really cares about each and every student. He makes time to help wether if it is in or outside of class, very genuine person. STUDY!! It is a science course so like any other you need to study. Put in the work and you'll do great! He also offers extra credit which is of great help. He's also kinda cute :)

Prof. Cabalu is hands down the best professor I've ever had. He gives amazing analogies and genuinely cares about his students. Despite taking A&P 1 for summer 1 (five weeks long) I passed with a B. If you have the opportunity to take him, take him!

He is a great instructor but sometimes let's his temper out and takes it out on class. If you plan on cheating in his class, don't even bother. You'll mess it up for the entire class. Absolutely HATES cheaters. He's very great at his lectures and his analogies are awesome but be ready to work for it if you really want to learn the material.

Prof. C is by far one of the most amazing professors I've had so far here at SAC. He is always available during his meeting times and will work with you if you cant make it in those times. Its Anatomy so its ALOT of information you'll have to grasp, but he words his lectures to help you better understand it. overall a great professor!

Professor C is the be professor I have ever had, no background in bio and passed his class, he is willing to do everything and anything to see you succeed, as long you talk to him, difficult test, reviews for everything. LOTS of studying, and has great analogies for everything, He is a great professor, and handsome! Would strongly recommend him.

I had horror stories about taking this course but he made it bearable. His tests are based on his reviews. A lot of information but he gives analogies for everything to help remember the material. It's great to have a book to look over on your own time but he lectured from his slides. He made learning fun and was always willing to accommodate us!

Not sure why my post was deleted, the only thing "somewhat bad" that I wrote was that he takes a good while to get back on grading tests, which I think is something students would like to know. And also that it'd be wise to not try and cheat in his class. Overall though he was a great professor, i would recommend him to anyone!

Clever guy. Talks fast (beware ESL-ers). Lots of tangents, but they are usually pretty funny. Grade is almost entirely exams, no drops, so you better study well for each. He is sensitive to the class environment, so keep things positive and you'll have a great time. Gives reviews, but I suggest studying beyond them for tests.

Awesome professor! Funny,caring and fair. He made what could have been an absolutely boring class,exciting and interesting. It helps that he wasn't in school too long ago himself so he completely understands the life of a student. I would take his class a million times over.

Awesome professor! A & P II is not an easy course that you breeze by. It takes commitment to learning the material and a good amount of studying. That being said professor C is the best at what he does and has clever ways of helping you remember material. Fun class.

I recommend this professor, you will just have to take this class to see. Pretty hard class, and lots of reading. But it is like that no matter what teacher you have.

Awesome professor! Gives easy study guides and test are based off notes from class. Of course, its a science so studying is inevitable. His lectures are awesome and fun. You will actually look forward to this class. It an easy A if you apply yourself.

Professor C is AWESOME! He is go dang smart. His class is not easy. You have to work for that grade. Attendance is mandatory. Missing one day you miss a lot of info. You have 3 practicals (STUDY FOR THEM), 5 exams & 1 final. He answers emails pretty fast & is there if you need help. Take him because you will learn so much in a short time.

Professor C is a great professor. He turned a difficult class into one that I enjoyed very much! Study guides for every exam and Practicals are a HUGE help. He is very entertaining and loves his field. I am salty because I did not get him for A&P 2. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!

Professor C is AWESOME! I highly reccomend him. His classes get full within a day because He make's A&P an easy class; he's approchable, funny, understanding, and caring. Not a heavy tester, no pop quizzes, and no homework! You won't need the book because he will go with his power points. Still lots of studying and reading will be required to pass.

I've never felt the need to rate any of my professors, but people are so quick to give a bad review and never a good one. So, here's what I must say, Cabalu is hands down the Best Professor I've ever had. With every Exam and practical I had my grade went higher and higher! The way it should be as you get to know what to expect on your test.

I learned so much in Professor Cabalus class ! Hes a great instructor and is clear on directions and student expectations throughout the semester ! This is a very difficult class, but he gives you every opportunity to finish the semester with an A. He provides study guides and never tests on anything that he doesnt cover in class !

Professor Cabalu is by far one of the greatest professors I've had in a while. Although my home campus was Vista, the drive to SAC was worth it. He really knows his anatomy and physiology and always makes sure you do too by using analogies or "quick tricks." He will not let you fail - just take notes, study, follow the reviews and/or powerpoints.

One of the best professor Ive had. He has all his PowerPoints on canvas, lectures are amazing and puts out Kahoot games before each exam. If you dont study, you wont pass. He is a very chill funny guy and gives you plenty of study time in and out of class.

One of the best teachers I have had in my undergrad. Explains complex material very well. Study guides help a lot, He has review games before every test. I took him in the summer(four hours of class) and kept the class engaged. Which most profs cant do with one hour of lecture. I am horrible at science and I made an A in his class

He is a talented teacher. He explain materials using daily things or link it to movies. a lot of fun when he demonstrates material. student needs to study and memorize all the highlighted materials.

His lectures are long and packed with info you need for the tests so missing class is rough. He gives the best study guides for every test so you know exactly what to study. Extra credit is available on every test. He's very accessible outside of class. The book is online but never required. Best analogies and examples, always write those down.

He is an amazing professor. The class is difficult but he makes it fun and makes it easy to digest the material given.

Professor C is rough around the edges but overall an amazing teacher. His lectures are heavy but lets you record him so you can go back. He gives you everything you need to pass his exams, its up to you how you spend your time studying. If you show up to class, study, ask questions its an easy A or B. He cares about his students.

Mr. Cabalu is definitely an exceptional Professor, I took him for A&P 2404. His lectures are funny and easy to understand, he uses analogies to explain the subjects and that helps a lot. If I could, I would take his class again. He offers extra credit and reviews for every single test, do not skip class, and do not leave after taking the tests.

He is a great professor, really wants you to know the material for real life events. Not just to pass a test. It's a difficult class but you can get an A. He has great lectures that he tries to connect to our everyday life.

He was the BEST professor I have EVER taken in my life where the study guides are actually beneficial and what you study is on the test, his study guides were my favorite and they dont lie. Overall He's a great professor. Fun, caring, and attentive to the class. Will not help you if you're close to the next grade. When the syllabus says he wont round anything below a 89.5 up to an A he means it. I had an 89.35 and he refused to make it an A. So basically, every point counts, ALWAYS. never slack, onetest question could mean an A or B.

Hadn't had a science class in 5 years prior to taking this course, I learned so much from Prof. Cabalu and actually retained info because of his teaching style. His tests are based on his lectures, examples and analogies . His classes fill up quick, I highly recommend taking his courses.

I took professor Cabalu for both A&P 1&2. He explains hard content into simple every day analogies which made things a lot easier to understand. No matter matter the teacher this course is a lot to learn so you HAVE to study. 4 exams, 3 practicals, 3 pathology projects (30 points towards tests), a group presentation (easy grade) and the final.

I took Cabalu about a year ago and wanted to pop on here and give him credit. This guy is the real deal. I recommend him to everybody. It's a hard class, but he's the best one to be teaching it. He uses real world examples and analogies to teach. Downside is he uses his hands to wipe off the white board when there's an eraser RIGHT THERE.

Class was lecture heavy. Lectures are long, but he is engaging and makes them fun. Anatomy isnt an easy course, but with his guidance he makes it manageable. Prepare to take plenty of time to study for tests and practicals. Practicals are not easy, and will demand your time. Overall, Professor C is a great person who cares about your success.

Great professor

I took his course two years ago and still go back to lecture notes from his class. His material is very concise and anyone on here you see complaining about him simply doesn't have what it takes to get through material-heavy courses. Now that I've experienced a wide variety of STEM professors I can definitely say Prof. Cabalu is among the best.

I intended to take his class last semester (spring 2024), but all his classes were already full. I was able to take him for the summer, and indeed, Professor C is an incredible teacher. His lectures are fantastic; you'll never be bored in his class. However, this doesn't mean he is just an easy A&P professor. This is a challenging subject.

Very good lectures! Recommended writing down what he says rather than what's on the power points! No extra credit assignments, but extra credit questions on exams. Took him as a flex class and he really turns challenging material into something you can understand. Make sure to participate in class or the professor will get on the class about that.

Of course, this class wasn't easy. It required lots of studying and hard work, but Professor Cabalu's lectures, notes, and study guides definitely helped. If you don't try, you won't pass; it's as simple as that. The class was exciting, and Professor Cabalu was helpful and attentive. There was also plenty of extra credit that helped.

I had this professor for both A&P 1 and A&P 2 in the 24-25 school year. He is amazing and keeps the lectures very engaging! Homework is minimal. Just stay focused and don't procrastinate your studying and this class is an easy A, his study guides help a ton. I ended up with a 102 both semesters. :)

Best professor you could have for A&P. Took him for the summer and he made the material easy to understand. He listens to his students, helps, guides, and does what he can for his class. Had him for a hybrid class, his online lectures are easy to follow and he's helpful in person if you need more clarification on a topic. Great teacher!

I enjoyed this class! I took him for AP2, it was more direct and focused on what we needed to learn than my first AP teacher. He makes class fun and offers extra credit opportunities. Study and pay attention to and it is definitely possible to get an A!

I took him for A&P1 and 2. He gives plenty of extra credit opportunities for each exam and provides study guides. Everything on the exams is on the study guides. His canvas is clearly organized and his slides are clear and easy to understand (he doesn't teach solely from the slides). He explains things really well.

He is an amazing professor . He explains every concept really well. He makes a lot of gym jokes that keeps me entertain and actually wants to focus. His canvas is super organized. I took A&P 1 and to understand this class, you have to study regardless who the professor is. He gave out of extra credit and is reachable outside of class.

Hard to earn an A; you must receive at least A's on 4 other assignments to barely reach it. He does take into account students' situations and is thorough.
