He holds your hand the whole class. Gives you outlines where you fill in the blanks. Overly excited about chemistry tho very nice teacher! If you want to pass without trying take him. If you want to know your stuff find another teacher.

This was one of the hardest science classes I have ever taken. A in A&P I and II. He makes this class harder then it needs to be and class attendance even though he says it's 10% or less what B.S., is mandatory...High school all over again...

Follow along with his lectures because he is one of the teachers that are easier to follow as far as chemistry is concerned. Great teacher, helpful, caring, explanatory, respectable dude. Prof. Fealy was organized, excited about the material, allowed for all levels of learning. The class required commitment. Good grades are earned.

Summer Class goes by FAST. If you struggle, they class cant wait for you so he will continue on without you, which will make you more behind (negative). You have to do a lot of self teaching (negative). He does offer study groups (positive). DO you problem sets they will help with the test.

Professor Fealy is great! I took his chemistry class and was very nervous because I had been out of school for a very long time. Chemistry is not easy, especially if you have no background in it. He explains everything in lecture and is very helpful if you need it. I'm not sure if I would have passed this class without such a great professor.

I came to his class with 0% knowledge,and I honestly hated any chem class!However, his attitude, dedication,and hard-work made me believe in myself. I got a good grade, and I would recommend everyone , especially for those who doesn't have any foundation in chem , to take his class.He is great professor!!!

Fealy is awesome. He always answers emails ANSI he takes time to explain the material thorughly. Chem 1 is a challenging course, and th fact that he can teach it without using the textbook is amazing.

Really nice guy, but he goes above and beyond what actually you need to know... especially if you are a nursing major. I have a friend who goes to Drexel and he was shocked when I told him that this was just an introductory Chemistry Class. Also, DO NOT BUY THE TEXT BOOK! He gives enough notes in class that you will not need it.

Honestly one of the most clear cut teachers I've ever had. Chemistry is a hard subject, so you have to work hard. If you put in the time and effort Mr. Fealy will make it easy for you. Although he is a difficult teacher, I honestly feel like i have learned the material and earned my grade. Most definitely recommend him!

Before taking Prof. Fealy, I was afraid of Chemistry. The subject matter is really challenging, but his teaching methods are more than effective. Both courses had 5 cumulative exams and a final, problem sets, and labs. Keep up with the work and you'll succeed.

Great teacher, very difficult, but he will actually explain the material. This class will prepare you for the real world outside of Bucks, and get you ready for a degree in the sciences. If you can do well in his class you will do well in difficult classes down the road. Unlike most teachers at Bucks, he doesn't baby you, he challenges you.

Best professor for Chem! Very difficult but if you are willing to do the work you will succeed. I took this class over the summer which didn't give me enough time to retain the material but overall I still learned a lot more than I ever have in another Chem course. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ! For a 6-week summer course, 5 hour classes 4 days a week, he made it very interesting! He would consistently email me back. If you do your job as a student and do the work and ask questions, he seems to accommodate and doesn't mind taking the time.

Dr. Fealy is a great chem teacher. He teaches chem the way it should be taught. He will teach you how to think about the problems. If you are having trouble with his class, maybe it has more to do with you than him.

Dr. Fealy is a tough love kind of Professor. He gives a lot of work, but that is so that you can actually learn and retain the material. He gives you note pamphlets for each section that you cover, which helps make studying a lot easier. Dr. Fealy explains everything so well, that you rarely have to read the textbook. He wants everyone to do well.

Dr. Fealy was awesome! Took the late start class so there was less time to learn the info, but he kept us on schedule even with snow days. I never opened my text to study because his notes in lecture were so clear! All you have to do is show up, take notes & pay attention.

It's apparent Dr. Fealy cares about chemistry & students. The work load is extremely time consuming, LOTS of assignments, but if you communicate with Prof he works with you. Tests are long - anywhere from 2-4 hours for one exam - all tests are cumulative. Apply yourself and there are lots of opportunities to know chem inside out and backwards.

He really explains things and takes the time to answer questions. Take notes, show up to class, ask questions if you need to, and you will pass! Taking him again for the rest of my chemistry classes!

I really enjoyed Dr. Fealy's class. His note packets and lectures were very thorough and clear. He gave the opportunity to attend exam review sessions before each test. The tests are long, but doable, and he often gave extra time to take the exams. I will be taking him for Organic if I get the chance.

Really nice, keeps you until the full minute EVERY CLASS, and will blabber to keep you there. Super nice guy, caring , and extremely clear notes but take ochem elsewhere if possible! Way too detail oriented for a hard enough class as it is! Believes everyone should love ochem. If you have to take it at Bucks, take him, not El-Nag, run otherwise!!

Ochem is a difficult class but Dr. Fealy wants all of his students to succeed. Never made anyone feel like a question was stupid &made himself very available if you needed help. Long lectures, very long & hard exams, but he makes them interesting & tolerable. If you study outside of class and don't fall behind you will do just fine. GREAT LABS!!!

He is the best teacher I have ever taken in my life. He does respects you, and will help you anytime. Do not expect any extra credit in his class, and he is very strict in grading. Also, do not miss his class. Otherwise you got yourself a huge trouble.

If you need to KNOW chem for your desired profession or later courses, take Dr. Fealy!! If you just need to get through a science course- take someone else. You will know more about chem then you ever wanted to. Very detail oriented and specific when grading, but its clear he cares and you will never be left confused. Explains everything clearly.

As someone who always struggled with chem and was taking the summer session Dr. Fealy actually made me enjoy chem; after taking his 5 week class he made me appreciate chem and helped me greatly improve my skills in such a short time. His exams are LONG. (8 PGS) and open ended. STUDY and GO TO CLASS. He appreciates hard workers. take him!!

Mr. Fealy is simply the best CHEM teacher i have ever taken. His lectures are sufficient for the exam. Questions in class are almost identical to the ones on the exam. Take the labs seriously. He typically has a section in the exam about the lab. If you attend the lectures, study his notes, it is quite easy to get an A. Great personality too

Great professor, cares about his students. Took him for spring semester but gave us a ton of extra credit due to inclement weather. Very reasonable. Study for his exams, make sure you get lecture notes from classmates if you miss class, and do your homework and guarantee a high B or A. One of the best teachers I have ever had. It is not an easy class and you need to WORK for your grade, but in turn you learn so much. He is understanding that the course is challenging and curves exams (which make up most of your grade.) I would 100% recommend Dr. Fealy for Organic Chem.

Dr. Fealy does his best to be available outside of class. Great professor, textbook isn't necessary but you do have to buy a code for the online homework. Attendance isn't mandatory but missing class will be hard to make up. A bit of a tough grader and exams are 8 pages long but he is definitely one of the best professors.

Probably best chemistry teacher Ive ever had. Dr. Fealy really makes everything so under stable. He cares about his students. Pay attention in labs because theres a part about labs in every exam. Also, do his practice exam, because actual exam mirrors it. Exams are long and fun. I wouldnt recommend missing class cuz u will miss a lot of stuff.

Best professor at Bucks! Instructions, outlines, labs, and tests are all clear and straight forward. Do NOT skip a lecture, youll be so behind! Orgo tests were EXTREME, about a 4 hour test which youll be exhausted afterwards. Do the practice exams, they cover everything. Email you back in a couple hours. I would 100% recommend him! Youll laugh!

I decided to take the summer CHEM 101 course just to get it over with in 6 wks. Dr. Fealy came highly recommended (for a good reason). I went from HATING chemistry to actually LOVING it! Dr. Fealy does a fantastic job at explaining things. Yes, chem can be tricky, but with the right professor it can actually make sense! TAKE HIS CLASS!!

Don't miss classes, do your work and you'll pass. Pros: Replaces lowest hw, lab & test with final grade if higher then lowest. Extra cred on final. Labs are easy *read ahead before class*. Cons: doesn't answer questions well. Rushes class a bit. Overall. learned a lot and glad I had him, would take again.

Best professor to have for organic 1 and 2. these classes are VERY difficult, but his lectures are great and the lab experience is very fun. exams are long and very difficult, but he does give out reviews. lab reports are long and extensive, and he is very nitpicky about things. if you want an A, you need to put in a lot of work into this class.

I took his chem 2 summer course. Chem 2 in itself is very difficult, so taking it in 6 weeks makes this course a lot of work. BUT he is very available outside of class and wants to see his students do well. He gives you all the help you need to get an A! If you do all the homework, labs, and practice exams- you will succeed in the course.

Lectures are long but very useful. Tells you everything that will be on the test. Practice exams reflect the test about 90%. If you show the correct methods to answering his problems he will give you full credit even if the math is off. He gives a lot of time to any student that needs help. Book never used, lecture notes helped a ton.

I could go on and on about Mr. Fealy! I took him in person and he is the best! His lectures help you 100% understand the material. He goes step by step on labs and checks your work! Not too much homework! Gives extra points on tests. If you pay attention and want to learn, he is great! I am not good at chem but he helped me so much! I loved him!

I took Dr. Fealy for both Organic Chemistry I & II. The material is definitely difficult so you have to really work at it to get it down. The greatest chem professor in Bucks. The lectures are amazing. A lot of labs, expect them to be long and stay after class. Exams are hard and long, but he makes a review day and answers all the questions. Gives homework assignments from the book. lab reports are not complicated. I am sad that there are not a lot of professors like him.

Although I have only had Dr. Fealy for a few weeks he has been a great professor so far. I am taking his 9 week Organic 1 course and he is very thorough and makes sure that everyone understands the material.

Dr Fealy was a great professor for Organic Chem 1. His lectures help you to completely understand the material. He tells you what you will be tested on. Do the labs and hw as points add up. Thanks to him I feel like I have a solid background in O Chem 1 for when I take it for real in the fall semester at Pitt.

Dr. Fealy is the greatest professor I have ever had and he has set the standard for what I view a professor should be. He is clear and concise with his lectures, grades fairly, has plenty of office hours, but above all is a respectable man. If you can take any class he teaches, jump at the opportunity, you will not be disappointed.

Genuinely very accessible teacher. VERY strict when it comes to deadlines, only allowing one extension per semester, but always gives more than enough time to complete assignments and is very flexible when working alternative solutions out with students. His lectures are wonderful and informative and he is ecstatic when people are participating.

Amazing professor. Works with you and will help you achieve your goals. Watch all videos offered and take his ZOOM testing times rather than ProctorU or the Testing Center. The experiments were also fun but time consuming. Grades very fair and will give you an extra 2 days to complete an overdue assignment but will deduct points.

Had for CHEM-121, CHEM-122, and 6w CHEM-222. Very thorough in teaching, making complex concepts relatable to understand, and respects students' time and effort. Gives a practice exams + keys to study from, a lot of partial credit back on exams, and very lenient grader for lab reports. Would absolutely take again, if given an opportunity.

Dr. Fealy's ochem course is a great representation of a professor with enthusiasm and an ability to convey so well so much information in such a short amount of time. He is a tough grader and there is a special emphasis on independence during lab but it's all to grow the student. By the end of the course you will more than be ready for the ACS exam

Dr. Fealy cares about Chem, very clearly. He is honest when he tells you to show up, take notes, do the work and you will pass. It's not easy, but he makes sure to be accessible at any time. If you are struggling, reach out and he helps you. You can't expect to skip class, not pay attention or do half the work and pass. That's not going to work.

Dr. Fealy made a course that I was frightened to take very manageable. He makes you work hard so earning a high grade isn't a guarantee, but he took the time to explain everything which helped me out immensely. He was patient whenever we did tough labs. Dr. Fealy is an amazing professor and truly cares about his students. This course definitely covers a lot of concepts but he is great at making himself available for questions. I would recommend signing up for tutoring at the SSC because it is extremely helpful when trying to fully understand topics. Brynn was my tutor and she was AWESOME!

Professor Ryan is in my opinion one of the greatest professors in STEM at bucks, his class is not an easy class and you can tell that he puts a lot of effort to make you understand the topics. His practice exams are the best way to practice for the tests and partial credit was given also. the labs were heavy and a lot of work for doing a good lab.

Dr Fealy prints out note packets based on the free textbook for each chapter before class. Offers 1 extension as well as drops the lowest exam, lab report, lab activity, and hw as well as rounding up grades at a certain decimal. Fantastic guy and great prof, always makes me excited to know more about chemistry each day. +Great class for chem majors

Dr. Fealy was one of the best professors I have had! Org chem is definitely not an easy course, but the way he explains the concepts and connects them to different analogies made the course that much easier to understand. Be sure to do the practice exams before exams and study them and you should be okay!
