Very interesting, His lectures are down to earth easy to understand, and he gives extra credit test. He is wonderful.

I learned a lot from this class. This professor is easy to understand. His lecture slides were clear too. Some exam questions came from the lectures only. They're not on the lecture slides or book, so attend lecture. But if you don't get all those lecture-only questions, extra credit should cover it.

Amazing Professor, take him. He is very detailed and makes psychology so fun!. You don't need the book, his lectures are available on ace, he gives four exams, a final and 12 quizzes that by the way are multiple choice and are easy if you study and are going for the A. best of all he dose not believe in group work or presentations which i loved.

He's an awesome professor. He is willing to help students who are in need. He has very simple rules, no talking while lectures but you are able to listening to music while he's lecturing. The tests, quizzes, homework are very easy. You just need the effort to do the work and study. Plus the class is always interesting with topics.

Professor Godfrey truly cares about his students' success. He makes you feel welcome and his lectures are engaging. He doesn't believe in group work nor does he call out students to answer or read. You definitely need the textbook since some test questions are not based off lectures. When homework is assigned, it's due the next time there is a test

Lecture were easy to keep up with despite it being a 2 hr morning class. Prof. made the material interesting and had most of my info. from notes from lectures rather than the book. Quizzes were mostly based on reading. overall, in testing (including final) as long as you do the readings and go over the notes you will do fine

He is very good professor. He is always there if you have any questions. His tests are based on his PowerPoint. Read them and textbook, you will be fine. He requires attendance, if you always late, or skip classes, you won't pass. You do need to put affords to get an A from him. If you want to learn more, take his class, it's fun!

Highly recommend this professor! Professor Godfrey makes the lectures interesting and he is a really caring person. You do have to put effort if you want to get that A. He is a very approachable person, you can email him anytime and feel free to send him drafts of assignments for that good grade. He is always more than happy to help!

Professor Godfrey is hands down one of the best professors at ELAC! I took him during summer and I definitely enjoyed it. He is very clear, organized and extremely kind. Take Professor Godfrey's class! He is incredibly funny, understanding, & caring. His class consists of taking notes, listening & thinking about the lecture, asking questions, studying for tests & quizzes, and doing the homework! You learn a lot because you can really tell he cares about his students as he makes sure we all understand the material.

Only reason I took his Psych 001 class was because of these reviews. I am so happy and so thankful! He is such an eager person to have his students stay involved and on top of their work. ADVICE: He gives the PowerPoints on his website, so instead of taking notes during lecture, I would really recommend you listen to him first and participate. :)

I dont normally rate but, he is the best professor ever! He is super nice and will make you feel very comfortable to ask questions. Quizes are take home, he drops the 2 lowest quizes, Exams are easy if you study, gives extra credit, teaches material very well and detailed. I highly recomend his classes, you wont regreat it!

Godfrey was my first psychology professor for 001 & 041 and I'm glad he was because he sparked my interest in psychology even more. He gives really great lectures and stops occasionally to ask if anyone has questions and heavily stresses that we can always ask him for help, email him, or go to his office. Great study guides. Study and you'll pass!

Had 4 midterms, one final, weekly quizzes, 3 homework assignments. All of the quizzes were take home and he drops lowest 2. He gives study guides and midterms were straight from the powerpoint. Final was cumulative. Overall, he teaches very well and very passionate about psych and everything is straightforward. Just try and you'll do fine.

Prof. Godfrey is one of elac's best psychology professors. Very clear syllabus and super passionate about his job. His class revolves around exams, quizzes, and papers. Not hard at all if you show up and study your notes. One of my favorite classes/professsors at elac.

Incredible professor and class! Every quiz we had was a take-home, many opportunities for extra credit, 3-4 written assignments throughout the semester. EMAIL HIM and ask him to review your work, he will help a lot. 4 exams, 50 Q's multiple choice. No group work or group projects. Great man who is passionate and knowledgable. Made it easy to learn.

Amazing professor. Offers a ton of extra credit, most quizzes (95%) are take-homes, homework is easy & comes in a small packet that you turn-in on test days (once a month) and lectures are easy to follow. One of the best professors I had at ELAC, deeply recommend. BTW you don't need textbook, save your money. You can survive off lecture notes/HW.

Honestly the best professor at ELAC. He offers tons of extra credit even though his materials are very fair and easy. He provides lecture slides on canvas & ur current grade is always updated. He is very nice and sweet and cares a lot about his students. Always asks if anyone has question and always offers to help. Bonus is his lectures are amazing

This class was pretty mediocre. All you need to do is go to lecture, study the PowerPoint, and test yourself with the study guide to get an A. Gives lots of extra credit opportunities. He was willing to explain subjects that were confusing. Very very lecture heavy.

Probably one of the most amazing professors out there, he genuinely cares about how you do in the class. There's a lot of extra credit opportunities, but that comes with a bunch of reading as well. He's very approachable and made my 7AM class much more bearable. His boost of energy wakes me up in the morning.

Currently in his Psych 92 class for spring 2020. One of the best professors I've had, if not the best. Very clear when it comes to what we do and how he wants it done. He's always open to questions and answers very clearly, never makes you feel uncomfortable. He makes our 7 am lecture bearable. Best professor to have a 5 unit course with.

As long as you read his powerpoint notes you will be fine on quizes and exams. Discussions were easy, had 2 papers 2+ pages pretty easy got an A on both.

I took Professor Godfreys course over the summer as an online course. I did not buy the book and did not feel like I needed it because I was able to find the answers on the power points he provided. All of the test and quizzes were easy to understand and well structured. I would highly recommend his course as an easy summer/winter class.

Took Prof. Godfrey for psych research methods and let me tell you it was not an easy class! You definitely have to pay attention to lectures and take notes if you want to pass. He was a tough grader in this class but is very accessible, caring, and understanding!

What more could be said about Godfrey that hasnt been said already? He is the BEST professor Ive ever taken. Ive had 4 classes with him and each time was a great experience. Hes so helpful even for subjects unrelated to the class such as transferring to universities. It should be a crime to be a psych major at ELAC and not take him.

Great Professor. 10 Discussions, 10 quizzes, 4 Exams, 2 Finals & 1 Essay/Paper - open notes/book. It was a lot for an 8 weeks class. He offers lots of extra credit. I wouldn't say easy A since you have to put in effort and read through the slides, but a very doable A. Average test scores were B-/C+. He offers a lot of help. Utilize him!

This is my 2nd time taking Professor Godfrey! He is an amazing teacher and his class is not hard at all. He is very caring and answers fast when you have a question or concern. You can use notes on tests so take good notes on the slides! He is such a great teacher I definitely recommend him! :-)

Godfrey cared about his students and made it clear that we could contact him at any time. There was a discussion every week and a quiz after every unit, but it was open notes. You'll pass if you study and do the work he assigns.

Great professor. Probably an essay a or b. I took winter online and it was not too hard to keep up with. I barely used the book. Literally only to paraphrase a few things for a paper. The class was interesting. Extra credit. Easy grader. I got 100s for the writing assignments.

Professor Godfrey is a super respectable instructor and you will receive full support from him, communication is key. He truly inspired me to do so much more within the field of Psychology. If you plan on taking any of his courses, I suggest creating a study group or connecting with other fellow scholars. I wish he taught more courses!

I took Professor Godfrey's online class. There is a textbook, but it was provided free through a PDF. Most of the assignments are quizzes and discussion posts. There is an exam each module, and there are a few writing assignments. All the quizzes and exams are open note. Great class, would definitely recommend.

Very helpful and engaging, provided clear instructions and expectations. Gives you the option of turning in papers early and provide feedback. Took him for the Winter Session 2022, while working full time and raising my kiddo. If you read the material, you should be good. However, PRIORITIZATION AND DISCIPLINE is KEY to succeeding in any class!!

Professor Godfrey's online class is well organized with clear grading criteria. He is caring and the type of professor you want for every course. There are multiple-choice exams and quizzes and 2 writing assignments. This course is open-book for all tests. He has PowerPoint slides that help, but you need the book for the writing assignments.

His modules are well organized, you have a decent amount of quizzes ( untimed) and an exam for those CHs bi-weekly (timed ) and only 2 written assignments throughout the semester but he provides samples and you have a clear understanding of what he asks of you. If you have any issues he is great at responding back to address your concerns.

Super nice! Assignments including quizzes and exams are more than manageable. He gives slides that practically give you the answers so just read them well. The writing assignments are easy and not traditional so you do not need to be a pro at essays! Responds quickly and grades/gives feedback quick. Highly recommend!

Took class over Spring semester. 10 discussions, 2 writing assignments, 4 exams, 2 Finals exams ,1 extra credit quiz. Professor is very informative, and very inspirational. Class is pretty straightforward, and is very interesting. Just like any class, effort is needed, but for the most part, it is an easy A. Tests are not proctored.

Professor Ryan was very kind and caring! His class was very interesting and I read the book with big pleasure. Only didn't like that fact that he had just gave one chance of doing the quizzes and exams.

Professor Godfrey is the best! Took his class over the summer, and although fast paced, it was very manageable. He gives you power point slides that summarize everything he wants you to learn. He expected two papers, and they were doable even by me (I get major anxiety with papers). Quizzes for every chapter, midterm and final.

Professor Godfrey was extremely easy to contact and would always have fast responses. The quizzes were always similar to the chapter work which made the class a lot easier.

He is well-spoken and teaches very thoroughly, I would highly recommend him however, the course work can be a little challenging. Get ready for lots of exams and quizzes, it through me off when we were already taking an exam the second week of class. You have to come prepared and study alot, this class was a lot to cover!

Professor Godfrey has structured his classes in a fantastic way. He follows his schedule. The study guides truly help for the tests. "If it is on the study guide it is on the test". His pace and tone are soothing and makes the class feel nice. You should meet with him or email him for the writing assignments, trust me.

Super caring and understanding! I missed my midterm exam due to technical difficulties, and he made an exception for me to retake it. He's very responsive to emails, so reach out to him if you have any questions. The class is made up of discussions, multiple-choice quizzes and exams, and a final essay. TAKE HIM!

This was by the far one of the best professors I have ever had. If you read the instructions on what he asks, you will pass no problem. There is 2 writing assignments, but he offers to revise them before you submit and will give you feedback. All in all, this was such a good class!

My only regret is not taking professor Godfrey before for all of my psych classes. This professor is amazing. Please take him if you come across his class. Most of his work is based on lectures. He breaks everything down and tests you based on that. His lectures can be heavy but are very informative and ultimately the only thing you need to pass.

He's a great professor who made learning fun and interesting. I would take him again! He also seems to care for his students and is always reminding us that he is available if we need help or had any questions.

Professor Godfrey was awesome! I have taken a few online courses and some professors were not organized. His online classroom was extremely organized. I did not feel lost or confused at all. If you had any questions, he typically responds within 24hrs or less. His lectures are prerecorded and very easy to follow. Highly recommend him!

Professor Godfrey's PSY41 class is exceptionally well-structured. His lectures are informative and engaging, and the study guides are immensely helpful. Involved a lot of discussion posts and very long lectures, but he was very understanding and responsive. The lecture, discussion posts, and quizzes every week were sometimes overwhelming if you are taking other classes with heavy work loads but very interesting topics and he gave you all you needed to succeed.

One of the best professors I have taken in ELAC so far. He is super nice, he doesn't call you out to answer questions. There is a lot of exams/quizzes with mini assignments and 2 writing assignments, but he does provide study guides, and the tests are very straightforward. This professor is a great professor and I would love to take a class with him again. He himself is not difficult, the class, however, was a very difficult class given the material difficulty covered. He was very interactive with students and was clear and informative with the subject matter. He answered all questions clearly and completely.
