he's hard to understand because he doesn't follow the book. there's no organization to it. seems like he's very understanding though and has a good sense of humor. just wish he'd go along with the book, so i could follow what he's talking about. right now, he's confusing me.

Any negative comments toward him are completely WRONG. This is the best professor I have ever had, which I have now had twice. He is NOT confusing like the last comment, (far from confusing!) if you have trouble with math he is the perfect teacher. Just ask him for help and he will help any time 24/7! AWESOME TEACHER. I was the WORST math student ever. I was going to drop the class at the begining because it was too hard. I met with him a few times outside of class, and I ended up getting an A. He cares about ALL of his students and will do whatever it takes to get you through the class. Don't forget to study for the tests...that helped me!

This guy is the best math teacher in existance. Hands down. His speech can take some getting used to, but he more than makes up for it with his ease of teaching you the CONCEPTS behind math rather than just facts, rules, and figures. KASHA! Oh my God he was sent from heaven for people (like myself) who just don't get math. I have had him for 3 math levels. In MAC1105 I got a B in the other levels I got A's. I was extremely scared going in but this man made me learn this stuff & stop thinking its hard it is no joke. He cares about his students making the highest possible grade.

FANTASTIC! You go into this class not looking forward to it but you come out relieved knowing your GPA is going to be a little better this semester because of this man! This instructor is extremely fair and helpful. He accepts late work when necessary. The lab due dates were unfair and he had to re-adjust to help his students out. Professor Kasha is the best!! His class is easy if you pay attention to the class, he doesn't grade homework but might give some extra points sometimes to help on you tests grades. Professor Kasha is a great teacher. I'm taking his Elementary Math Curriculum class. He's super nice and will go into detail about anything you want him to. He's also very flexible and realizes that his students have other things besides his class. Homework is very minimal and the projects are very easy. I would definitely reccomend him to anyone!

This professor was able to teach me math in a way i never had before. I was finally able to understand certain concepts and was able to pass with an A ( something that has not happened since elementary!) He's one of the better math teachers on campus. Goes a little too fast sometimes and his jokes tend to get old fast. He does know math though. Get tutoring if don't understand something. Memorization is key so make sure you study.

Kasha explains concepts very clearly and in a way students will understand. He uses different colored markers to explain examples on the board to show the steps. He is a fair professor and genuinely cares for the success of all his students. I will take my next math class with him. Don't forget the Krispy Creme Donuts!

I feel sorry for this professor because he is overloaded w/ classes & he has hardly any time to give to his students although he really wants to & you can tell it frustrates him. A very good professor. His only mistake from what I can see is that he needs to make the homework mandatory. Very fair & an excellent teacher. Highly recommended.

I took this class on this professor's very first semester, I think it was Fall 2004. He was awesome and I am happy to see he is still here and people are loving his class as much as I did. And I hated math SO much. I took his class again for MAT1033, as well as all the other students in that first class with him. If you need help he's always there.

I hate math. But Professor Kasha was really awesome and made me [almost] enjoy the subject. He WANTS the students to learn, and he WANTS us to do well. He really, honestly cares about the students and it definitely comes across. My only complaint is that he doesn't teach every math! I wish I could take him for my next math class too. He's great.

Prof. Kasha is a great professor. My husband and I took him for both Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra. He loves math and knows it so well, but still retains the ability to explain it to people who are terrible with math - like me. I can honestly say I never enjoyed a math class until I took math from him. Hard class, but you learn so much.

Just signed up for his 1033 class this summer!! Best math professor EVER. Txtbk not required in class but assigns hw if he feels we need extra practice. Very lenient with lab quizzes and 99% of the time he gives due date extensions. Tests are 25 questions max. Likes to joke around and class is always fun! Buy him Godiva chocolate & he will LOVE u!

This was the first math class I took since high school and he made everything so easy for me. He was so understanding, considers what the students had to say whether it meant changing his own schedule for the class. Plenty of extra credit, practice tests even for the final, passed with an high A. Simply AMAZING!!!

I NEVER understood math before I took his class, he is by far the best math teacher I have ever had. He explains it as many times as you need it and in many ways so you can understand what he's passing. His tests are easy as long as you study for them and doing your hw is the best way to study. I took Prof. Kasha a while ago, and decided to take him again for this class. Comparing both classes, I will say that he's better at College Algebra than Trig. While there are many opportunities for you to pass, it's hard to keep up. Don't take this class if you have any other difficult classes. Staying on top of your points/grades is a must!!

Book is optional. Mystatlab (online) is necessary to do homework. Available if you need him. His class fills up quickly so take him.

Professor Kasha is a solid choice for an online math class. The class is pretty much teach yourself via MyMathLab but he is there if you need him and encourages you to reach out with any questions or if in person meetings are needed. I am absolutely awful at math and I did ok.

Took professor Kasha's online math class. All I can say really is that this guy is very caring and has a lot of patience for his students. I had a few times I was late on my work or something happened to where I could not finish an assignment in time and he really pulled through to help me out by extending the due day. Dr. Kasha understands that math doesn't come easy for everyone and he takes this into account when teaching. Tests are taken outside class in the testing center, but in exchange for this he uses class time to review, in detail, every question on the test. There are multiple attempts allowed for tests if you show effort in completing the homework.

If you're like me and math makes you physically ill, I recommend prod Kasha. He really does want you to do well. He is amazing at clearly explaining the material. The homeworks and quizzes are all online and you get multiple attempts at both. Tests are in the testing center, but they're super easy as long as you put in the effort to learn.

Dr. Kasha is one of the best professors at Valencia! Statistics is a very challenging subject however he makes it very easy to learn. There is a lot of work involved in this course but he is very understanding and flexible with due dates. If you have a question he responds to emails within an hour or two. This is a calculus class, so we know this class is not easy, Mr kasha push back due days for exams a lot of times and give us a few extra points. This class is honorlock but the same questions that is on the practice quiz before the exam is the same questions on the exam. He is reasonable guy, just email him :).

The work/math for stat is already difficult itself so be prepared to struggle on some but it is manageable. Honorlock is used for exams that are a copy of the study guides he assigns. One group research project that must be presented (zoom/irl). Workload wasn't that light and homeworks could take a while but he is flexible with due dates.

This professor is by far the BEST yet. He is the most caring, most respectful person ever. He understands you have a life outside of work, and is super flexible. The study guides are your best friend for the exams. He will reply back to your email in less than an hour, doesn't matter if it's 9 pm. If I could take him again, I would, no doubt. :)

Professor Ryan Kasha was a fantastic professor. He was always there for his students and sent out emails regularly, ensuring we knew the exams' deadlines. The homework was accessible, as well as the exams. He will do his best to work with you if you contact him with a concern. I recommend him!

Dr. Kasha is great. However, he uses honor lock which is proven to make students preform worse because of the pressure. Almost all the work is on Pearson (Pearson is $80). Allows two attempts on tests. Final exam one attempt. If you get the answer right on the lab but your work isn't done a certain way you don't get credit. so I gave up on labs.

Class was easy and straight forward. Professor is flexible with due dates. The lab assignments are easy if you review his guide before which gives you everything step by step with different numbers. 2 attempts per exam, super responsive! One of the best!

This professor is straight forward and very responsive to emails. He is very caring and accommodating with due dates if you communicate. No tricks, everything is mostly from MyLab. Provides study guides for each exam. Actual final exam was 50 questions, multiple choice (not 80 questions). He is a top professor, take his class! He is just awesome!

This class is pretty easy as long as you do not fall behind easily or procrastinate! Some homework assignments are done through Pearson Access, while others are done on paper and sent in to be graded. All exams are done through HonorLock. He's a very kind professor and truly wants to see you succeed. Plenty or resources available to help you also.

Prof. Kasha's class is manageable with diligence. The online homework and tests using HonorLock can be challenging, but study resources like the textbook and unstuckstudy AI are helpful. Overall, an engaging professor who wants you to succeed.

I had Statistical Methods with him, and it was a lot of assignments—maybe sometimes 2-3 due the same day—but you have to keep up with some they take a long time so be mindful of that but it's not that hard overall. He is a very nice person. The videos of him explaining each chapter help you understand the material very well. He uses Pearson.

Just took this class and I highly recommend it. The study guides are the exact same format as the exam so you aren't studying for unnecessary material. Final exam was far easier than the study guide (80 questions) and is 50 questions. There are extra credit opportunities and you can improve your grade on homework before end of semester. Take him!

Professor Kasha is one of the most inspiring people I have ever met, with sparing most of the details, he is focused on the goal of making you succeed! After my semester with him, I was walking by his class and he asked me to come in and told everyone in his class, "If you wanna be like this guy, you gotta pass my class!" 100% would recommend.

Professor Kasha is my absolute favorite professor from Valencia, I walked by his classroom after I took his course and he recognized me and announced to everyone that I was one of his former students.😭😂 This guy is absolutely amazing at what he does. Business Calc is a rough course made simple by this professor.

Took professor Kasha for MAC, even thought this course is online, his materials make it easy to digest. His homework goes according to the topics learned and based on unit exams - everything he asks in the homework, will appear on the exam. Any issue with Pearson , which is where all grades come from, he is willing to check for partial credit.

TAKE HIM! Tests use Honorlock with 2 attempts. Gives study guides that you must complete with at least an 80% before you can take the test. The study guides are basically the test. 2-3 hw a week on Pearson, you can take it as many times until you get the correct answer. Videos are provided. Some assignments that aren't hw but are still super easy.

Such a nice man and he deeply cares about his students and being present despite us being online. He is understanding and even curved my grade when asked which I appreciated a lot, material was not hard to understand.

Dr. Kasha is such an inspiration! 20% of your grade is homework and 80% is tests. You are able to complete homework late (need to get 80% to take test). Every study guide he gives is identical to the test. (final exam study guide is harder than actual final, write equations). He is super understanding and will respond in your favor.
