Extremely nice and caring professor. Out of all the classes I have taken he has been by far the one that works with you the most. In addition to being a good professor he is a charismatic and a funny guy. I hands down recommend anyone to take any of his classes that are available.

I stress that this is a class you CHOOSE to fail. The professor cares for his students greatly and is there to help them when needed. His coursework is also very easy. I implore anyone who needs the credits for social science to take this course; it's easy and fun.

Professor Ross is such an easy-going person. He makes all the stress go away with a smooth conversation on the topic. Pay attention to the lessons, do his homework which aren't difficult, and you should top his class with an A. Obs. Seriously, if you end up in any situation, just talk with him, he's there to help you get through it.

STOP! If you're going to let one review sway your mind let it be this one. Easiest class ever, professor really tries hard to assist with getting an A for final grade. I needed this class to graduate, and he made the semester so smooth in addition to the other classes I was taking. Prof Ross truly cares about his students and encourages everyone to pass and gives equal opportunities.

Take the 12-week AMH 2020. Ryan, in his 30s, is a professor who also works in his field outside of PBSC. His lectures are sarcastic yet entertaining. His writing assignments allow you to take topics into your own hands. His grading and feedback are clear. He gives extra credit. He appreciates good work. TAKE HIM. If you fail, you didn't try at all.

The past good reviews are correct. Thoroughly explains assignments to ensure you get a good grade. You just have to try he'll make sure you pass. He truly cares about his students & it shows. He makes lectures fun & yes,he will take up most of the time. Worth taking this class, excellent professor!If you need help you just have to reach out!

Took his AMH 2010 class via zoom lectures. Very very funny. Wants everyone to pass and does everything possible to make it happen. A few papers, about a page in length. Breaks down each assignment and gives ample time to complete them. He used TopHat for the textbook (which is required to complete homework questions). All around great teacher :)

One of the best Professors I've ever had. He is so kind and actually cares about his students, he's also really fun even when he's giving a lecture. He barely gives homework and when he does he gives you more than enough time to get it done.

THE MOST AMAZING PROFESSOR AT PALM BEACH STATE!! I am so glad I took his course. He is hilarious and the most understanding teacher I've had. Essays are actually just a paragraph long. No such thing as late work. Guaranteed to get an A in his class. Does require that you have your camera on.

One of the best professors at pbsc by far! Really entertaining "lectures" if you can even call them that! Super funny and easy to pay attention to. Grading is super straightforward but you still have to put some effort into your few essays. He'll always provide feedback and let you change anything multiple times to get a perfect score! Loved it :)

I actually enjoyed his class. He did very well at explaining the assignments and what needed to be done. The homework wasn't hard at all just needed to be done in time, and even if it wasn't if you just reached out to him and let him know what was going he would extend time. I had the pleasure of taking AMH 2010 and AMH 2020 with Professor Ross, and it was one of the best classes I've ever taken. Not only is Professor Ross incredibly knowledgeable about American history, but he is also a fantastic teacher who genuinely cares about his students' success. I highly recommend taking his class.

Professor Ross was by far the best professor I ever had. He is very knowledgeable and made the discussions interesting enough to want to participate. There isn't any heavy homework loads, easy essays that he helps every step of the way with and gives great feedback. Thank you Professor Ross for loving your job, it made me enjoy attending class.

At first I thought he was a weirdo, but in the end he was the best professor I ever had. He's very understanding to schedules and wants you to succeed. Class is a breeze if you stay on top of the work, and if you miss any homework just ask and he'll let you finish it with no penalty. Take this professor if you want a fun time learning history.

I took Professor Ross for AMH 2091. This is my third class that I took with him. He is an amazing teacher; he grades fast, responds to emails, and is willing to work with you. His homework assignments are very clear and consist of reading and answering questions. You should definitely take him!

Professor Ross is amazing. Do not be shy and don't hesitate to reach out when you need help. I am so happy and grateful that I did. He will work with you, answer your questions, and help guide you towards a better understanding of the matter at hand. The work can be a bit tedious at times but you always know what is expected of you. Professor Ross was very accessible through canvas if I had any questions or concerns. Definitely one of my favorite professors. He truly cares about the subject and wants to see his students to do well. Good course to take for a busy if you have schedule.

No tests, only essays! It's a super easy class; I took it along with Calculus 2 and Chemistry 2 and still got an A! Time management is super important as the homework takes a while to complete since this is an online class. The professor is very understanding and will shrink the homework if needed; he did that at the start of the year.

Highly recommend taking Professor Ross's course he is very helpful and really wants you to succeed in his class. If you are ever stuck on anything he would take the time to help you. This amazing person subbed Professor Glenn Swift for 2 weeks, and I was questioning why I didn't take Ross in the first place. He made sure we passed!! He gave us amazing feedback on our papers while adjusting previous assignments to be more manageable. His lectures were great, and he made sure everyone understood. Highly recommend!!!!

He is one amazing professor. He really cares about you passing his class and he is willing to help you pass. If you're looking for a great history professor, he is the one for you. 10/10 recommend.

His class is easy overall; his grading method is simple; quizzes are unlimited attempts. At the end we have an essay group project with individual grading criteria. He's a thought grader in this but follow instructions, and if you have questions or help, ask for a meeting, he's more than happy to help get the best possible chance for a good grade.

He was fairly kind and gave good constructive comments. Nothing is graded too harshly and he is fairly available. Responds well to emails and allows for zoom meetings if requested.

He was a professor who could sometimes be understanding and occasionally unclear about what was required in his class.

this teacher is really chill. he does teach the material that's needed and also keep you updated with what's going on in the world. i like the small debates he would encourage. at the end of the semester there is a final project. don't let that detour you it's really easy.
