Attendance mandatory, not very clear, and the material is really hard, but she will help you as much as possible if you just ask. three tests, all mad hard, you really need to know your stuff.

I am suprised that she gets such poor ratings. I took her for Acc 10 and she taught the material quite well. She will do anything to help you, and her exams are difficult but fair. You can't lazy off in any acc 10 class, the materal is difficult. If you can't handle it stay away from the CPA. Got an A because i worked hard.

I am suprise at her rating. This is the BEST accounting teacher in Brooklyn College. She is a very hard working professor makes you very relax and is very knowledgeable. Auditing is no fun it is some what boring but she makes the class relaxing and teaches the stuff in such a way there no time to be bored. I really enjoyed the class.

Professor knows the subject very well, accounting 10 is a very hard class but her objective was to allow the students to understand the materials. She is very clear with the material, those materials will most likely be on the test also when she tells u to study certain topics STUDY IT her exams were fair,highly recommend

A great professor with very high standards. I have my bachelors and taking credits for CPA exam. U'standing the material is very important for me then just getting an A Prof Ghallab made it so much worth. Got 100 on my first test and I am a Single mom. I am happy cause she prepared me to earn it rather than giving it to me. She is an asset to BC.

This professor works a lot and gives a lot of material. However, she explains little theory, just mechanical process (how to calculate all stuff). I think her tests are very straightforward and really very very easy because they are based on material she tought.

To bad raters: Go major in Art or Music. Accounting requires work. This Prof. is not hard but she is extremely helpful. I am preparing myself for FAR Exam and I still remember all the material. Exams are clear and right to the point. If you do not know your material, you should fail. She curves based on performance. Extremely funny and lively Prof.

She is sooooo funny n nice! I learn a lot from her. If u didn't get a good grade, that's bcuz u r not studying or the course is hard, its not bcuz of her.

I took her for auditing. Too much reading for her class. She is funny in her lectures but when it comes to the writing assignments and exams, the joke is on us. By far, the most time consuming class in accounting. For the writing assignments, expect to write 30 - 40 pages (5 assignments, 5 to 8 each) along with a presentation.

Punctuality, attendance & reading are MAJOR, you can pass or fail on this! Questions on tests are directly from the points emphasized in class but some were taken right from the reviews and homework. You will use the ENTIRE book. All writing assignments depend on your partner, so choose somebody reliable to work with & don't wait for the deadlines.

She is so nice! You can learn a lot from her. If you can't receive a B- or a better grade from her, you are not a accounting person. You may change your major.

Good Professor. Demonstrates the accounting very well (Although she brushes over the ideas behind the accounting which may come back to haunt you on the cpa...) Very friendly... Hard tests, but if youre taking this class then you need to get prepared for the cpa. Excellent notes. If you follow everything in class, then you should do ok.

She is really nice and friendly. I enjoyed her classes. I got an A. Of course she is strict, but you learn many things from her (her exams are fair). Overall, I would recommend her if you wanna be proficient in your major, if not so don't take her class!!!

Great Professor! Loved her, I took her twice. She gives key points, all your need just read the book at least for some parts to clarify on them. Got an A+, she loves her students, funny, sometimes her jokes can be sharp but she is the best if you want to have your knowledge well organized.

Take notes, practice the homework and the worksheets that she assigns. You will be ready for her exams. Reading the textbook isn't necessary unless you need further clarification. Her teaching method keeps you engaged so worry about falling asleep. Best professor to take for this course.

She is great! Just study and you will be good. Most of those who left negative feedbacks probably just didn't study enough. She doesn't ask more than she teaches in class and exams are easy if you study. Oh yes and her sense of humor is fabulous!

At the beginning of the semester, I was little afraid of her, but later I realized that she is not just good but amazing! She explains very well and finds time for jokes. I always leave her class charged with energy though it's evening class. What's in the lecture, everything on the test. 2 Midterms+final+paper. Take her!

I took this professor for three classes, she's the best accounting professor in Brooklyn College and I wish I could take her again. She gives a lot of notes and is very clear. Go to class, ask questions and pay attention. Her exams are not easy and you must write papers for all her classes. She is the best!

The best 2 classes I have taken for a long time. If you take her classes, be ready to learn and do some work to your benefit, because she works hand in hand with you. Her lectures are great, she will not give you any surprises. She does exercises in class for all chapters. Finally, learn something!

If you want to know accounting this is the professor to learn from. She has a true teaching talent. If I would take all classes with her I could pass CPA exams without effort. Prof. Ghallab is an excellent instructor. You will never be bored in her class. The course is hard, but she put a lot of effort to make it easier to understand. She forces students to learn and memorize all the most important things. Make sure you write all her notes and follow all her lectures. Exams aren't easy. Be prepared to work hard.

She is a good professor. She is caring and really takes the time to explain the content (Acct 4011 is not an easy A class) be prepared to take notes during her class. She replies emails quickly. Also, she gives extra points for exams during her lectures, so participate in class.

SHE IS GOLDEN. if you are passionate about accounting and want to go far in your career soak up every peace of game she gives you. her lectures are engaging and she literally tells you what's worth writing down. exam questions are iterations of problems down in class or in homework.
