He was a very good professor. He helped when ever he could and was very clear in his lectures. He offers tons of help, and is willing to meet with you after class and even on weekends. He really cares about you and always has a review before his tests are given, study them, put your time in and you will do well. Good luck!

I really learned a lot from this professor. Don't miss classes because then you are lost. Study from the book and do your lab hours to make sure you pass. Before he lets you out earlier, ask him to practice some exercises. I did good because I praticed a lot. Overall, he is a good teacher, open to the students.

Prof. Alarachi knows and loves math a lot. He is open and available to the students. He goes a little fast because too much to cover in so little time. Don't miss a class or else you're lost. OK, I hate Algebra, but this professor really has a gift to explain it in a way that most people can understand! I would suggest taking him. Just make sure to show up ON TIME! Lab hours are required to pass and the exit exam is alot of pressure, but he is very helpful. His exams are multiple choice and I passed his class with an A.

This professor was very helpful. I had priory taken the same class with someone else and had to drop out. Prof. Alarachi makes the class so easy and explains very clear. Its almost unnecessary to ask any questions during the class period.

After being out of school for 3 years I took this class and was very skeptical, but I ended up with an A. This professor is great, he teaches in a way that is very easy to understand. I would highly recommend him. Just be aware that you must do 12 lab hours for his class. His favorite formula is No lab hours= F. Just take notes do the lab hours.

I HATE math but loved this professor. It became my favorite class the whole semester. Attendance is not mandatory but if you miss a class you do miss a lot. He is very organized and does reviews for all of his tests. Highly recommend!

Awesome professor. Takes his time in teaching. Is not fast. If there is only one person that doesnt understand he will take his time explaining again. He only moves fast when everyone has fully understood. Other than that he teaches slowly step by step.

He only has two rules be in your seat on time and don't interrupt him when he's teaching. He taught math so that we understood! This teacher is the best!

Professor Alarachi is SUCH a great teacher! He goes slow in the beginning to make sure everyone understands and repeats the rules over and over to make sure you memorize them. If you have issues with being late this may not be the class for you but other than that I HIGHLY recommend it! Seriously he is so helpful. You won't regret it! Do lab hrs!

A great professor, whom cares greatly for his students (that work and are serious about learning). He tells you exactly what to study and gives you examples of what to expect on his exams. From the first day he tells you EXACTLY what to do to pass his class. I appreciate all the help he gave me in the lab.

Beyond amazing and I love him and his forwardness. Saad Alarachi is probably one of the last teachers that actually still cares about his students. He doesn't make you feel dumb and make sure you understand the materials. Please get the text book because you will be reviewing and HW assignments. Just amazing and down to earth , very funny.

All I have to say is AWESOME Professor!! I had this professor for MAT0028/MAT0029. I love the way he teaches. I have learned to not ask questions during a lesson because 9/10 times the question will be answered without having to stop the lesson. I feel that he is available as needed. When I contacted him he got back to me & gave me great guidance.

Prof. A is a really good teacher. Very clear and easy to understand. He wants to see his students succeed. 5 extra points on top of your grade for 15 lab hours and does not collect HW. Just go to every class so you don't miss anything, study and DO NOT take out your phone in class. Highly recommended.

Professor Alarachi is amazing. He teaches you exactly what will be on the test. There are 5 tests in total but you have a choice on taking the fifth one. If you choose to take all 5 he will eliminate the lowest grade. He's strict on tardiness. The book was online and free. His notes are clear and easy to understand. He made mathematics easy for me.

I hate math & I loved this class! I took it to get out of algebra..he explains everything slowly & ONLY goes over problems that WILL be on the test.Some test quest's are copied exactly from online practice quest's. 5 free points for lab hours + 1 test grade dropped. You have to be lazy to fail this class! We need more prof's like him!

I have struggled with math my ENTIRE existence; I truly believed that Math was some form of a punishment. When I signed up for classes, it was with the intention of "getting it over with", but I am very pleased to say that Prof. Alarachi, is A-MAZE-ZAH-ZING! Professor Alarachi definitely has a teaching style like no other. I can't tell you how long I have struggled with math. I could never seem to find a teacher that could explain what it is that I needed to learn in a way that I could understand. He is very simple! Long lectures but usually we left not too late, he'd let us out a bit early. Pay attention to his tips and advice, they're helpful. Tests are very similar to the chapter test in the booklet from the math lab. The downfall is that tests are on Scantrons and he didn't review the wrong answers we got. I'd probably take him again.

For starters, I took him for MAT0018 / MAT0028. He is very strict with no cellphone use and being on time. If late, he might send you home. I didn't do well in high school algebra but he made it easy. I got an A in his class, and didn't miss a day. He is easily agitated by students who lack professionalism, and punctuality. This past term we had a few students who clearly didn't care, and focused more on complaining than doing the actual work. Take the negative reviews lightly.

Professor Alarachi is no-nonsense. He's very upfront about his no-phones-in-class, no-asking-questions-until-after-his-lesson and no-coming-late policies. Pay attention in his class, do your Aleks assignments, do your time in the Math Lab, study for his chapter tests and you're golden with him. Don't disrupt his class and all will be well!

Overall I enjoyed Alarachis class. He would change over half the test dates on us. So when we would arrive to class prepared for an exam he would tell us it would be the following class. He was caring and took time to meet with students when we didnt understand. The final I felt was a bit difficult but I did well on all the exams prior.

Professor Alarachi was efficient in his method of teaching and was understanding with students that needed extra help. If i am being honest he was a pretty good teacher, you can make jokes with him about 90% of the time if he's giving a lecture DONT JOKE.. His grading is good, he will curve your grade and give you extra credit. Over all hes pretty good, he does not give alot of homework and is nice overall he's a good professor
