Amazing class followed by an amazing instructor! Lectures were always interesting and engaging. iClicker questions were easy as the material being tested was presented in the slide directly before the question. I love psychology, but do NOT take online. Virtually no help/direction from prof, makes you buy the online version of the book with odd quizzes, she is the author so guessing shes cashing in. Discussion posts arent difficult, but unclear outlines & TA feedback is seldom helpful. Complete lack of compassion, denies religious holiday extensions.

I have never had a professor be so blatantly uninvolved. Just because it is online does not give an excuse to be absent from the course entirely. Just as a professor can tell when a student is not putting effort into the course, a student can tell when the professor is doing the same. You have to teach yourself from her own (required) textbook.
