Easiest teacher in Psych Dept. probably. The best. I looked around and asked about 20 people and they said this was the most modern teacher to take for any class she teaches.

Mrs. Bolz is hella cool... She funny, and easy to comprehend... She's smart and knows what she's talking about. I highly suggest takin class with her. Her accent might be a little difficult to comprehend at first.. But u will get used to it.

Sabine is an awesome teacher. She has very recent experience with the psych field.

I took psychology with her last year. She makes the subject for you very easy. Multiple choice, easy questions in the test helps the students pass the test. She is funny, interesting, and friendly. I am an A students, and i got easily in her class.

She is a great teacher. She keeps things interesting and her accent is great too. As much as you would think talking about the brain is boring, she makes everything she teaches fun.

The easiest teacher at Solano. She lets you use notes on the tests and the assignments/quizzes are extremely easy to do. Just show up sometimes and do the review sheets and you'll easily get at LEAST a B

Ms. Bolz is awesome, she's very easy to talk to both in and out of class. She made the materials easy to follow and was not judgmental of anyone's feelings towards human sexual behavior.

Ms. Bolz is very nice and understanding, but if you've taken psychology classes before you might get extremely bored in this class! This is a class that should only be for beginning psychology students in my opinion.

Although the class was way too easy for someone who'd taken psych in high school, she was a great teacher. She really explained the brain and nervous system well, and she made everything interesting. She was extremely easy going and kind.

This class was very easy to get an A in, I honestly didn't learn very much though. She is a fun teacher and brings up interesting topics to discuss in class.

Very fair and helpful. Keeps students on topic. Doesn't cut class short, gives you what you are there for. She is a very smart lady. German accent is not a problem to understand. I would take her again

I liked Bolz. she was obvioulsy knowledgeable in pyschology; however, she is quite boring because she mostly lectures. you can easily get an A if you read the text and have good notetaking skills.

She is a very nice lady, grades fairly. The class is sooooooooooooo boring. And her test are weird, their not straight forward. But if you can get past that, then its fine.

it's very easy to get an A in the class because she teaches pretty slow, and alot of extra credits. Sometimes she talks too much and students who have their hand up have to wait up to 10 minutes for her to finish her point, and then say what they wanted to say. The tests are not too hard if you read, since they're based on the book.

GREAT TEACHER!!! Funny, enjoys helping students. Tests take a bit of time to get use to (scenarios and blank is to blank as...) Overall WONDERFUL. I would have loved to take another class of hers if I needed it.

Shes a nice teacher. Discussions are interesting but totally off topic sometimes. I would have liked more lectures pertaining to tests and quizes so we would have been more prepared. The book teaches you more. Most test questions are off of the companion site.

Prof. Bolz is the best teacher I have ever had. If you have qeustions she is happy to answer them and will even spend time after class discussing them with you. If you are interested in human sexual behavior or how humans work than I would take her.

I really like Professor Bolz because he talked about every day issues and illustrate how they could relate to the topic we were studying. I really feel she was fair, interesting, and connected the subject to real world issues. Her test were not easy, so do not get the wrong message from the previous comment because you do need to study.

She is very passionate about her profession. Incredibly cheery and excited to teach her students. You are expected to pay attention, but it is not that difficult to do. She makes references to issues going on today that relate to psychology and she also has plenty of examples and different videos to help the students.

I took 2 psych classes with Prof Bolz, psych 1 and 34. Next semester I take psych 5 with her. She is smart and funny. Always comes to class with an upbeat attitude. i learned so much about psychology and she knows a lot of other subject like philosophy.

She is a great teacher and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fun, educational class.

Everything about this class is excellent if you're into psychology. Excellent teacher. Excellent learning material. Excellent ideas for quizzes/tests/projects. Just excellent.

She is a great psychology teacher. Psych 5 is a very low maintaince class. the class works together in teams and teacher each other. The quizes/tests are always multiple choice and they are all common sense questions. VERY easy to pass this class with knowledge to gain. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This class is very easy but also very boring. She doesn't lecture, so you are left to read the book all the time. The lectures are very dry. Great down to earth person, just a very boring class.

Take her for psych!

she is very nice and personal, this class was based on sexual development and she made me feel very comfortable and is easy to open up to. very unjudgemental and professional. take her class!

Great Professor. Keeps class interesting. Interacts with class. Fair tests. All you need to do is read the material, and participate in class and you will walk away with a good grade.

Professor Bolz was an awesome teacher. I was stuck behind some guys who were constantly talking to each other, but still managed to do well. If you study the material you should do fine. I loved how positive and supportive she was in general.

I'm a psych major and have taken several psych classes and she is by far my favorite teacher. She makes class so interesting and lets the class teach and interact which is really nice. She is really sweet and helpful if you have questions. Definitely recommend !!!!!

I definitely enjoyed this class! Anybody who is receiving under a C obviously isn't studying AT ALL! She is a great teacher who is very helpful and also funny too. I reccommend this class to anybody who is taking psych 1. Great teacher...taking her again!

It's high school psychology all over again. She took attendance only on the 1st day. You really only need to attend to find out what day her next almost-weekly quiz will be & what chapter it'll be on. Other than that, take her! Easy A!

Honestly, she's a pretty good teacher. Her tests are straightforward and if you study, you will pass this class with ease. People that say she is hard are just lazy. Literally, I studied like 15 minutes for each test and I have a 94% in the class. Only downside is sometimes she talks to you like you are a baby. That can get a bit annoying.

She's nice & all, but lectures can be dry. Study a lot & read the textbook, then you should be fine. Slacked off in the beginning of the semester, then changed & aced the last two tests. Still got a C, ohh well. I passed

Bolz is one of the nicest teachers I have ever had. She is incredibly cheerful, and always comes to class with a smile. Obviously passionate about psyc, loves discussions and questions. Tests aren't terribly difficult if you study, textbook reading is a must.

VEry easy class!she gives u out a paper wit the pages u need 2 read.nd tht helps alot since u wont have 2 read the entire chapter or whole text book. always gives out mini test. which is kinda like the only "extra credit" youll have since she doesnt giv out ne. The exams r common sense.but lectures r way borin. shell call u out if shee c'z u textn

If only I knew that her lectures doesn't cover the exams, then I would have done way better. Seemed like a pointless class. Not a fair grader at all. Her written portion for the test are only a tiny portion for your grade so worry more about the multiple choice portion because that is a huge factor for your grade.

Probably the most boring teacher I've ever had. None of her lectures cover the exam so its pretty much pointless to go to class. Most of what are on her tests are from the book so you have to take notes. But she's incredibly nice and she has a passion for teaching.

I took Professor Bolz for Psych 1, Abnormal Psych and Human Sexual Behavior, I highly recommend her. I did not find the negative comments for her to be true, I learned a lot from her and found her classes challenging and interesting.

She seriously sings when she talks. This is an easy class but Bolz is extremely boring and I'm a psych major so that's pretty sad. You only have to show up on quiz days, the other days she usually only shows videos. Easy A

Quiz every week, so don't plan on skipping. You read assigned chapter, take quiz at the beginning of class the following week, AFTER the quiz she will lecture on that chapter, so stay on top of reading otherwise you wont pass quizzes. Midterm and Final both have take home parts to them, very important to do it well in order to pass.

Took her for Intro and Abnormal Psychology. She's very understanding and knows exactly what she's talking about. There's a lot of reading involved, and it's necessary because of weekly quizzes. Her lectures drag on and on, though. Most of the info is straight out of the book, so you're basically rereading everything. Homework and tests minimal.

Professor Bolz has a passion for what she teaches. Expect a quiz every week at the beginning of class. Lectures are straight forward and are from the book. She is very approachable and understanding. All dates are given for quizzes and such in the syllabus, so there are no surprises. I would definitely take another psychology class with her again.

Best class I've taken! Always looked forward to her class. She is very clear of the material she wants you to understand. Her test and quizzes are straight forward. Very approachable! She is cultured and love her sense of fashion! Would recommend her to anyone!

Human Sexuality. She lays out the entire semester in her syllabus, which I appreciated because there were no surprises. Her tests can be tough and you need to read the material before you get to class bc there are quizzes. Overall, I thought she was funny and very respectful, encouraging an open atmosphere for discussion and questions.

Absolutely loved Professor Bolz. Took her for abnormal psyh. If you are looking for an easy A this wouldn't be your class. She likes participation and notices if you did the reading. If you try and are interested in the topic you will pass. Her study guides are great do them and use them and you will pass tests and quizzes.

Make sure you do your readings

Cultural Psychology. Professor Bolz is a great teacher. Classes are really interesting. Her classes require work, but she gives you the tools to succeed, and the amount of work helps you to learn. No textbook for Cultural Psychology, but you need to read articles. You can always talk to her after class too. One of my favorite teachers!

sweet german lady, very good explanations for confusing concepts; quiz given on PPT and you have about a minute for each question (on scantrons); loved the way the class was set up; make up of quizzes, a midterm, and a final.

I loved Professor Bolz! Dont be afraid to ask questions or seek clarification, she will absolutely help. She posts everything on Canvas so just make sure you keep up with the files she uploads. She gives lots of quizzes but they all count as extra credit so if you bomb one, dont worry. Keep up on the readings and youll be golden!

I love this professor! She is by far my favorite at Solano. She's very passionate about her job. The class consists of reading the text book, if you can not commit to reading then do not take her. She has quizzes and two exams but the study guides are online. If you study the study guide you will receive a passing grade.

Hands down, nicest teacher Iv had at Solano. Bolz cares about her students and is really passionate about her lectures. She teaches from her slides but the textbook is still required for a couple homework assignments + studying. If you can, take prof bolz you wont regret it.

Ms. Sabine wants to get to you on a personal level and can allow you to finish exams after class.

Took her for Psych001 in my first semester and I really enjoyed her. I took Abnormal Psych (psych005) my last semester, and enjoyed her even more. She is very passionate about psychology and is understanding to people's needs. Biggest stressor is term paper, but she helps you along the way. Tests are easy if you pay attention to lectures and read.

I personally love this Professor's drive to really teach you to where you understand the subject. Not many assignments besides the test and extra credit. If psychology is your major, she is an amazing instructor. Be aware, you need to really study your topics in order to do well on the exams.

Professor Bolz is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and she genuinely cares! Her lectures are very engaging, if you choose to pay attention. She gives extra credit and the more you show up to class, the more opportunities there will be. Her class isn't the easiest, but with dedication and studying, you'll get the grade you deserve.

I took Professor Bolz for Abnormal Psyc. She is a very sweet and caring professor. As far as the class, we had two exams and a final. The main project was the term paper which was due just prior to the final. It was sort of an ongoing assignment with different segments to submit. I would definitely recommend her.

Professor Bolz is a very nice lady. There was never any homework. A lot of the grade is extra credit. If you do any of it, it is almost impossible to get anything lower than an A. The lectures were a little bit long and the slides were out of order, but still easy to follow as long as you listen.

This class was awesome. There are no tests and quizzes; projects and papers determine your grade. Participate and show that you care about the material, and you will do well. Professor Bolz cares more about the quality of work you turn in and prefers long papers over short ones because they work to explain your ideas better.

Professor Bolz loves what she does and appreciates people who can think outside of the box. As long as you know how to thoroughly analyze, evaluate, and adequately explain your thoughts on any given topic, you'll pass. She is one of my favorite professors, and I couldn't recommend her enough.

Professor Bolz was a delight, you get out of the class what you put into it. Weekly online "quizzes" are assigned based on textbook, so prepare to read or risk failing. Study guides are given for each exam. You can miss a few classes but not everything is in the textbook so the lectures are worth it. She was very understanding and knowledgable.

I took her class last fall semester and her class is really easy to pass as long as you do your work and pay attention to the lectures youll pass. Her class was really interesting and informative and shes an amazing teacher to take for this course. Test are easy as long as you study and keep up with the class lectures youll pass

I took this class during the fall (online). Get ready to read a lot, I honestly didnt do much studying and got an A mainly because I had some background experience on psychology. For this class you are the student and the professor.

The prof was really nice but she didn't really teach anything. It was mostly just looking through the powerpoint and then reading the chapter but the chapters were sooooo long. There wasn't a lot of homework but the exams weren't open-book so you actually had to study. She would provide you with a review for the exam tho.

Very sweet. I wasn't able to take a test one day and she worked with me to help me make sure I was able to take it. Very easy class and only had about 4 3 tests the whole semester (3rd was the final exam). I learned a lot in this class and she only has one homework assignment each week which is a smart book online that is only worth five points.

She's really sweet. Her lectures mainly just follow the PowerPoint and since the chapters are so long you gotta learn what's left out on your own time. The workload is pretty light, starting with one smartbook a week and then later changing to two a week. Overall not a really challenging course.
