This Prof. is fun and easy. She explains and everything and is more than willing to help over it when it's not understood. The tests are moderately easy, if you understood the work. She gives a lengthy review before every test, I recommend her to anyone!

Prof. Eggelston really cares about every student's success in her class. Although she does not teach from the book, she clarifies the methods it uses and relates them to her method. She is GREAT for those with math anxiety and visual learners. Take her class!

Hands down, absolutely the best teacher I have ever had. As long as you come to class and do the homeowrk then you will do fine. The homework is the key to her class and she does assign homework almost every night, but that is how you learn her material.

Mrs. E is able to relate math equations to a real-life situations, which makes them MUCH easier to understand. I've struggled in math all of my life, but Mrs. E was able to teach me many of the things I've had problems with over the years. **Only take her class if you have time to devote to it. Lots of homework! Highly recommend this teacher.

I just finished taking her class and hands down, the best professor ever. After being out of school for over 20 yrs she taught me how to actually understand the material. I never felt more confident with math than I do now. If only she could teach all of my classes. HW every night but if your confused she will always make time for you.

Very awesome teacher, she actually cares for her students. =) Very much recommended, she keeps the problems of homework to a easy amount that you can get done and gives you a week to finish all the homework assignements that is assigned during that week. Easy tests, test corrections given. Very friendly and checks to see how your doing often.

There is no textbook usage in her class so don't even buy the book. You won't need it. She has office hours and comes into the math lab that is provided for use to us to help students who comes there. Very much recommended to take.

I absolutely loved this professor! Before entering her class I was teriffied I wouldn't learn anything because math has been my worse subject, but I must say that I learned more than ever in her class! shes really good with teaching and makes sure you understand everything and gets eveyrthing done. the only thing i would have to complain about is... when we do our homework online she wants us to keep a notebookwhere we do all our work in. this is SO annoying because i do my work in random places and its hard to keep all of it organized.

I hated math going into this class, she made it fun, she made sure you understood the material. she breaks everything down in a way you will understand and will help outside of class during office hours if you need it. I am in 1033 now and thanks to her teaching is why i am passing this class. just do the homework, and ask questions. its that easy.

Great class. She doesn't use the textbook the school bookstore gives you, but she does use the MyMathLabs online program for homework. Keep up with that, and come to class for tests and you'll pass. Easy to learn from in class and more than willing to help one-on-one during office hours. Wish she taught other classes.

Ok, Definietly the one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She is really good at explaining some of the more complicated stuff. She truly cares about her students and has a great sense o humor. She very rarly misses a class. If you don't like math, please take this professor and you will improve immediately. Best teacher that I have had, Hands down. She has an accent so shes a little hard to understand at first, but you kind of get used to it. I took MAT 9024 with her and she was great, it's just I didn't put enough effort in her class. I got a D the first time. I took it again 2 yrs later( MAT 0028)and I passed with a C. Go to class, study for tests, go to Math Lab, and go to her office if you need help. I recommend her for any Math courses :)

Math in general is not an easy subject. Don't listen to the comment below, if you have something negative to say about this prof you're lazy and wont be about to survive the upper level math. You're in college, you actually have to do work and study to pass. If it wasn't for Prof. Eggleston I wouldn't have done as well as I did in the upper level.

She's an incredibly helpful professor and will work one-on-one with you in her computer based class. Math is my favorite subject, so I found the class to be pretty easy and fair as far as assignments go. Nothing was too outrageous when it came to grading and she makes sure you actually understand what she's teaching.

Professor Sabine was the best math teacher I ever had. This professor is willing to help her students one on one. She cares for her students. Professor Sabine requires you to show your work. She wants her students to learn the material rather than memorize it. TO pass the class pay attention class and do the homework.

Very helpful,keep the class interested and not boring. Also give you a lot of opportuity to pass this class. I would recommend her to students who is taking this level of math because you will walk away knowing that you lean something from her class. I don't know about anyone else but I will see her for the fall. She is all around awesome!

Prof. Eggleston is a wonderful teacher. She teaches complex material in a simple way so that everyone can understand it. You do have to show your work on everything though but only because she really wants her students to KNOW the material. She also works with your schedule, I had to miss a test and she let me make it up during her office hours.

Very understanding and thoughtful. Took the class where you do everything in class on the computer. She does mini lessons which are very helpful. This class is nice because you have access to doing your work at home minus the Tests. Does not let you use a calculator.

A GREAT PROFESSOR! For me math does not come easy. This was my second time taking MAC1105. You MUST APPLY YOURSELF to this course to succeed. This class became easier and easier towards the end. She gives Quiz reviews (mymathlabs) before the test. Take those quiz reviews as many times as you can before the test and you will excel.

She is one of the best mat teacher I come a cross since leaving school for more than 20 years. All around awesome willing to take the time out to make sure that you learn the materials. The one thing I did not like is the fact that we could not use a calculator but in the end it work out much better without out it. Love and respect her to the max.

Proffesor Eggleston is the best teacher I have ever had. She actually made math fun, which for me . . is saying something! I have never heard a bad thing about her and all of her students always try to get her again for their upcoming classes. She took extra time to help me outside of class several times and you can tell that she really cares.

I have taken her for three math courses at FSW and she is absolutely awesome. Clear cut grading, very involved, and she wants to see everyone succeed. I wasam not the greatest in math but she made the courses as enjoyable as possible.

I struggle with math and she took tons of time to help me before, during, and after class. She really didn't need to do all that, but she did it because she cares if her students understand and she wants you to pass the class. Put her class notes online for us so we could just pay attention instead of writing the whole time.

This is the best math teacher ever.

This is my first semester of college after being out of high school for 26 years. Professor Eggleston gives clear directions, with her clear lectures I am fully prepared for my homework and tests. Math is a lot of work, but with Professor Eggleston's style of teaching, I am able to learn and now know what I am doing.

Had her for 57 and 1033, and next semester for algebra. I haven't been in high school for 16 years and I've never earned an A in math. Got an A in both so far. If you show up to class you will get exactly what you need to learn the material and do well. She breaks down each concept and explains it in a "keep it simple" way.

Sabine is, by far, my favorite professor I have taken. She is very attentive to how the lesson is being taken and always stops to make sure everyone is on the same page. A very cultured and unique individual she is, I'm not sure I'd be competent in any arithmetic without having had her for 2 math courses. A true gem for this college to possess.

I have always done very poorly in math, but Professor Eggelston is a pro at explaining the steps. She is a gifted teacher, and I am very grateful I enrolled into her class. I struggled in high school algebra, but she taught it very well. The class went smoothly because of her. You don't need the book, but you need labs. Do the homework, pay attention in class and you should be fine. She is very helpful and explains things very clearly. I wish I could have her for every math-related course. She's wonderful!

Prof. Eggleston was an easy going professor that cared for his students. There isn't that much work, and the tests aren't difficult as long as you understand the work. He'll help you with anything you need, and there was always extra credit for each test excluding the final. Wish he taught pre-calc so I could take again!

I would recommend this professor for both people who struggle and excel in math. She really prepares you for the tests with the homework, quizzes, and study guides. She explains concepts thoroughly and makes sure everyone understands before moving on. Going to class is essential to understanding so you can pass. I'll be taking her again this summer and can't wait! She's amazing.

Me and math are not a great combination. And yes, this class was definitely hard for me, but she truly helps you understand math. I took it online, and I loved that you can go over the questions as much as you would like to. It helped me practice and learn.

Professor E was an overall amazing math professor. Took her for College Algebra and she explained everything so well, I maybe had trouble with HW once or twice but nothing too bad. Made class easy and was always so nice, was never angry/upset. Organized teaching and is collaborative with students. 4 tests through the semester and a normal final.

I took her for College Algebra and Trig, both online and on campus. Highly recommend her for both. Shes clear and to the point, and helped me understand math when I thought it was my worst subject. I never scored below an A on her exams, and all I did was study the material she provided. If you struggle with math, pick her!

Math has never been an easy class for me, but Professor Eggleston was always clear in her lectures and work examples that I was able to pass the class with almost an A. While you do have a lot of homework, she's very helpful and extends the due dates if the class is struggling. She's a really great professor and I would definitely take her again.

Took this as a full summer class. A few discussions to get you to interact with the class and everything else is on Mylabsplus. She is very nice and always willing to help and answers emails back fast. One of my favorites, would definitely take again!

I took her Spring 2020. Middle of the term Covid-19 spiked, the class transitioned to zoom. At that time her tests were NOT proctored which was a bonus, but they were timed. She's super sweet, caring, and responds to emails in an timely manner. In person & through zoom , she is super helpful with going through hw & provides a study guide for tests

I had her for zoom classes, and despite that, I felt she did a good job teaching. Tests were proctored through an external and proctorio, which was a real hassle sometimes but that was during Fall 2020. If you need assistance she's always willing to help, you just need to reach out if you're online. Overall I think she's a good choice.

Test are weighed at 45%, you only get 1 chance to take it and they are proctored and timed. Quizzes and HW are only worth 25%, if you get a D or below on the test you will be struggling to pass the class. Her presentations are very informative. You need to memorized the formulas

Professor Eggleston provides video lectures for all sections, and everything is very organized. You will have a weekly quiz on mlm (not proctored). Overall, she has 4 tests and a final. The first test is not proctored, the other 3 and final are. She only have a few discussion, very easy.

Took this class as a Mini-A so it was very overwhelming, and a lot of work was assigned weekly. about 8 lecture videos a week, all ranging from 2-10 minute each. Quizzes for each video and a test each week for the whole section. Proctorio tests were a nightmare. Hard class, but the teacher is super helpful!

She's the only professor that has actually been able to teach me algebra to the point where I understand the majority of the material. Got a 100 on one of the tests for someone who hates math. No notes allowed on exams but you can use desmos test mode on your phone as a graphing calc. Take her!

She cares about students and ensures they know the content and understands the underlying meaning. In other words, she will never just give you a formula and tell you to remember it, instead, she explains where it comes from and why certain rules apply so you better understand the concept. She teaches at the class pace and offers extra credit!

She is very sweet! Her tests are just like the homework and if you forget to do any assignments you have up to 5 assignments you can request to be opened up for full credit! The extra credit is really easy. Her lectures are easy to understand but if anything the homework definitely helps you understand even better.

most of the bad ratings here are people that had her online, but I had her in person and she was AMAZING! if you took math up to precalc in high school, this class is cake, its nothing you haven't seen before. she gives extra credit, and you can retake the quizzes until you get 100%, and theres only four tests! shes sweet too so highly recommend!

If you had an easy time with algebra 1&2 this class is a piece of cake. Professor Eggleston was great with her lectures and gave easy extra credit on each test. She was very thoughtful about missing assignments and gave the oppurtunity to reopen any 5 assignments throughout the semester. The tests were like the homework and mostly multiple choice.

Easy online class. Assignments are due on Mondays of every week. The class goes at a pretty fast rate, but it is manageable. You are able to make up to 5 assignments as she understands that life happens. Grades pretty quickly and gives feedback. I would definitely take her class again.

I enjoyed professor Eggleston because her lectures were very helpful and you can control the speed to your learning pace.I had a HORRIBLE experience with the proctoring program. She was very understanding and always gave me the credit but proctorU was so horrible and not user friendly. Do not take this class just because of the proctoring program.

Professor Eggleston does online courses right. Every module had a video-lecture and associated notes such that I fully understood/had great notes for every topic. Grades are primarily practice assignments, quizzes, and proctored tests with discussion posts thrown in every now and again. Really enjoyed this class overall.
