She is very hard be ready to study. She is fair though. I definetely learned in the class. I would take her class again. She has a nice accent.

She is good until you take the exam her questions are very difficulat and its like you did not study

She's not hard, you just have to show up to class and listen. She has powerpoints which are great. Before each test she reviews with you, LISTEN TO HER. This class was very interesting, I'll prob. end with an A. She's really great!

Her favorite words are "...with regards to..." She loves saying that! But, other than that, she's an okay professor. It'd help if you go to class & got some notes, but it isn't mandatory. I barely showed up & expect an 'A' in the class. (: She's really nice, too. I'd take her again. She reviews before each exam, which is verbatim to tests. :D

I think Dr. Des Rosiers is an awesome professor. She LOVES what she does and you can tell in the way she cares about students. the course was not easy but not hard either. she gives reviews for each exam , and watch for what she's saying in class, you will see it in the test.you have to study to get an A in her test. i will take her again 100%

Great professor! I honestly don't know what anyone here is talking about. Considering that she provides students with study guides prior to exams this has been the easiest psych class I've taken in three years at FIU. Go to class, she gives participation points through iclickers and do the study guide, it is VERY helpful!

Very Knowledgable. Has an accent. Attandance is mandatory, she gives a quiz every class or participation points, through Iclicker. Her test are based on her study guides! You need to read the book to answer them. The way she has her class designed, you really learn the material. So if your an applied student, its not hard to get an A.

She's a great teacher! She's very helpful if you have any questions. Attendance is mandatory, but she makes class interesting. She made me want to go to class every day. Missed an A in her class by 1 point though and she doesn't curve ANYTHING. But tests are exactly like the study questions so they're easy as long as you actually study.

Very helpful/knowleadgable teacher. Replies to emails quickly.A quiz on a chpt each week (easy) but you still have to read the material/review pw pts to do good.3 exams, 50 easy q's. discussion post and easy group work consist of viewing a short clip & reviewing it, but manageable for on line.

You need iclicker for this class. Must always come to class, if not you miss out on valuable points needed later in the semester. Do the study guide as they are based on the test. She emails back quickly. Easy class overall

She's a great prof! Replies to email quickly, need an iclicker, mandatory to go to class for participation points & surprise pop quizzes. Read the book and do her study quizzes, she post on moodle. Exams questions are taken from the quizzes. TAKE HER!!!

Enjoyed this class a lot!! However, I suggest to take it in the Fall or Spring because 6 weeks of material in one Summer term is a huge LOAD. However, this professor explains the subject well, tests come straight from her study guides, attendance is mandatory with iClickers & textbook really isn't needed...Take her and you won't regret it!!

This a hard course. But she gives detailed instructions. I DISAGREE with the previous comment. There is a lot of work - TRUE - but she is so available and knowledgeable is STATISTICS inside out. She went back in forth on email with for an assignment. No other class I took had a professor that help me so much. She is hard but WORTH taking her class

I recommend Des Rosiers, I took her in Summer A. She gives 4 papers, they are not hard she's just picky on the APA format. She also gives discussions, tests, stats quizzes, keyword quizzes and lab assignments. It sounds like a lot but it is manageable. Just make sure you are on top of things.

Amazing yes, you have to work for your grade;however, she is so understanding and gives extra credit ;as well take her you will be happy you did.

She gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit and also provides feedback. The discussions can be a bit much. Responds to emails in a timely manner.

This course in general requires work. Professor DesRosiers is patient and easy to reach with any concerns. Summer is a shorter term but I was able to complete the material and pass the class. This was not my first time taking PSY3213 and if I had known how precise and helpful she was I would have selected her first. Do the work and ask for help.

You want to take a class with this professor! She prepares very good lectures, and she is funny too. Makes the material so much more bearable. She gives detailed feedback when grading, and she always replies to emails promptly. This is a hard class, and she is really making it easier to take. A+!

Dr. Des Rosiers is amazing! She prepares the material so that it is merely impossible to not understand the lectures. Also, she sets you up for success with lots of extra credit, multiple choice exams that are not timed. The only complaint I have is her TA, her grading is too strict. Otherwise, Dr. Des Rosiers is THE BEST!!!!

Her class is very easy, her quizzes uses lockdown browser so you have to use two computers if you are trying to get the answers by other methods. The class is all based on some quizzes, some discussions, and short assignments which are like 4 question quizzes but you can find everything online. No papers at all, easy class but be aware of deadlines

Professor Des Rosiers, Really cares for students. This class itself is hard but the teacher makes it as smooth as possible. I only wish she taught PSY3215. There's a short assignment, discussion, and extra credit due every week. There is about 3 written papers. But she is the best and really helps in all she can. Fare grader very very nice person!!

Like many psych majors, I hate Stats. But this turned out to be one of my favorite classes. I've never had a teacher go into such great detail. Her PP presentations are so helpful (you won't even need the book). You'll learn so much with her. She really prepares you for Methods II.

Professor Des Rosiers is just amazing!!!!. Discussions, short assignments, extra credit every week. Take advantage of the extra credit you will need it. She is a fare grader and very understanding. You must work for your grade. The topic itself is very hard. The short assignments and extra credit can be somewhat challenging.

Lots of assignments, but an easy A if you stay on top of the workload. 6 exams (1 exam dropped), 14 discussion post, 20 extra credit points, and 3 paper assignments. Per syllabus text book is required, however in my opinion Prof. Des Rosier is extremely detailed in her PPT's that the textbook is not necessary.

She's the best professor I could have for RM1. A lot of work but, nothing you cannot do. Do the extra credits, it really helps. Easy grading, caring, responds email very quickly and solve any problems you have. Take her, you won't regret!!!

She is very nice and her grading is clear. I had her for an online class and it was as easy as can be. Do you work and you will receive more than an A (seriously though because she gives plenty of extra credit). Ended with a 103%.

She gives a lot of work. There are several papers, discussions, assignments, exams and even more extra credit opportunities. She is very understanding and is always willing to help students out. She answers her emails promptly. Do the assignments and you will pass. Other than a lot of work, very easy class.

Great online professor

6 discussion, 6 exams. Exams are 20qs and you get 1 hour. 4 Mini assignments. Shes big on grammar for discussions , only way to miss points. Gave EC during the semester. Overall great online course and professor, I usually have problems with DEP courses but this has been my best.

She's awesome! I'm not good at stats but she gives you very detailed Powerpoints with lots of examples and breaks down the explanations. Plenty of extra-credit options, 6 exams, assignments and discussions for each chapter, and a couple of writing assignments about research. If this class makes you nervous I definitely recommend her class :)

easiest class ever. says the book is mandatory but nah, there's a free PDF online and is the same thing. 6 discussion topics (easy), 6 module quizzes (easy), 4 short assignments (easy). Due to covid and this hectic time, she let me take a test i didn' realize i missed. very easy grader, takes a while to respond to emails but she' really nice. 10/10

She's absolutely amazing! Gives great and detailed feedback, will go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable reaching out and gives advice on what and how to better understand the material. To me, this was a very difficult class but she made such a difference, I would definitely take any class with her again. 100% recommend her.

The sweetest professor I've had yet. She has great lectures and loves participation and to converse with you about the topics. Connect assignments, quizzes, and exams are very easy. This class will not take up a lot of your time and you will learn a lot from it if it's a course that interests you. I 100% recommend her and this class.

Easy A! She assigns a lot of reading, but as long as you read and show up to class there no reason you shouldn't pass with a good grade. You get credit from quizzes and exams, but they aren't too hard. No group projects, but I took her online. Little participation needed, but her classes are lecture heavy. You will need the book, but its online.

This professor is very sweet and passionate about her teaching! There are 3 tests and online textbook assignments. You have to dedicate time for these assignments but they are not hard at all.

Dr. Des Rosiers is great, very caring, and passionate about what she teaches. Research methods is hard, and there's a ton of work, but she really does have her students' best interest at heart and wants each of us to succeed. Do the extra credit, you'll need it later in the semester when assignments and tests get tougher. Highly recommend her.

The class is easy to get an A in. All the answers to every test and assignment are online if you use Socratic. However, attendance is a part of your grade so dont take her if youre going to miss some lectures.

Dr. Des Roisers is an extremely nice teacher. She cares so much for her students and wants them to get a good grade. The hw is on McGraw Connect and consists of reading a chapter and answering questions about it. If you study her powerpoints and the hw questions you will be good on the tests. Overall easy class, super sweet professor.

14 Assignments+13 Discussions. 6 Exams(1 Dropped). 1 Research Paper & TONS of extra credit. Assignments get harder as semester progresses but discussions are ok. Exams were doable. Book is helpful but everything you need is in the PowerPoints. Research paper is extremely long but not difficult to complete. Prof is amazing, answers fast, easy grader

Great professor. As long as you do your work, youre guaranteed an easy A. Professor also gives a lot of extra credit, so there is no way to fail, unless youre not trying.

Good professor. I took this course during the summer so it was a lot to cover in a short time but Dr. Des Rosiers had very clear power points to follow and was very fair in her grading and expectations. Personally, I would recommend taking her class.

The class is structured very well as long as you do the work you will pass. She is not a fast grader so expect to have multiple ungraded assignments at a time. There are lots of extra credit opportunities throughout the semester.

Dr. Sabrina Des Rosiers is an amazing professor. I took her class online and she was very accessible, will help you out and answers your email. The class does have a lot of work, but is is relatively easy if you do your work and read. She really cares about teaching and will help you out. Sends weekly announcements. TAKE HER, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

Dr. Des Rosiers is a very caring Professor. She truly cares about all of her students. For this course, its pretty straight forward and easy. All the answers are straight from the textbook, and all the assignments in a module that are due are due every month. Each module does have a lot of work, so you may have to pace yourself, but it is easy

Took this course for a Dynamic Mini Term (4 weeks) and this class was super easy. Expected lots of work but only 5 easy discussions and 10 quizzes and a final exam. Everything was online and the professor is very accommodating. TAKE HER!

One of my favorite professors ever! She is very responsive and patient and is always ready to answer questions you may have. Statistics is very hard for me and she made me feel like I could do it! Take her you won't regret it, just be ready to read a lot of material!

I do not really understand what is the sense of this class if 80% of it is simplified material from prerequisite statistics course. It is incredibly easy and I am taking it as a summer semester class. There is barely any work. Prof is nice.

first of ppl are such complainers I am horrible at anything number related and this by far has been an EASY class YES EASY. I had to take statistics and algebra 3 times each I was terrified but wow was I wrong. so stop complaining. very straightforward watch videos do homework and exams nothing is proctored. Prof IS AMAZING and understanding.

Lots and lots of homework assignments. You have to read a lot in order to get good grades. Very easy to get in touch with. Very reasonable teacher if you need extension.

This class regardless is going to require a lot of work no matter what professor you choose. I'd suggest choosing her because she actually cares for her students and not a harsh grader, there's even extra credit to help redeem your grade at the end. It's a WHOLE LOT to do but having a whatsApp groupchat helped a lot too, good luck!

Super easy A! Great professor, I took her in a mini-term in December. So the class was only 3-4 weeks, work was given but it was easy! Extremely recommended.

She makes the course very doable and there aren't many assignments. The quizzes are based on her playposits so as long as you watch, you're good! She sends reminders for assignments and gives adequate time. She is nice and willing to help her students learn. The class is definitely doable. I would take her for as many classes as possible!!!

Easy A! There's only one group project and no exams for this class. Don't fall behind in the homework assignments and you'll pass. The lectures are boring, and it was online, so it was tolerable. I recommend taking her!

She was very understanding and flexible with the due dates! The class in general is a lot of work but she is very caring and allows opportunities to raise your grade. She wants you to pass and will help you out. Very easy to contact and communicate with her via Canvas.

she is sooo nice. very flexible with the due dates, always answers emails quickly. RM1 is going to be hard regardless of who you take. it is a lot of work. however, this prof is very nice and is not a harsh grader at all. just be prepared for the course load and you will be fine. she is sweet

This professor has been the best professor I have ever encountered. Her class is not easy. There is a lot to study as well as a lot to read. The lectures are hard and complicated BUT she assures you as well as walks everything step by step in order for you to understand. She answers emails on a timely fashion. She also gives constructive feedback.

Very easy A with clear grading criteria and opportunities for extra credit. However, there was so. much. busywork. It was ridiculous. I think it's like 36 quizzes that u take on lockdown, you do a group project that is based on participation, and there's like 3 mini-essays to do on top of pearson stuff. Not hard at all, but so much work.

Overall, great professor. Five exams (worst score is dropped) and a lot of weekly homework. The professor herself made the materials a lot easier to understand and was very kind and respectful in emails. My only problem was the teaching assistants and their vague feedback on homework and exams. Other than that, great professor and good class.

She is such an easy grader. Multiple opportunity to get extra credit, plus not midterm or final exam. She doesn't have anything proctored.

Professor Des Rosiers was amazing! Easy grader there was a lot due to weekly, video tutorials, discussions, and homework but I loved her layout. The videos truly helped me so much with the homework. Five exams were not protected; the lowest one and extra credit opportunities were dropped. Do your work and you will be fine!

I loved how her PowerPoint was to the point and helped you answer the discussion questions. She was a pretty easy grader and graded right away. Definitely a chill professor and really kind.

In the summer term, the class consisted of 6 discussions,4 quizzes, & 2 exams (lockdown). There are 2 optional quizzes and 1 optional exam to replace a grade if needed. All the assignments are open and they're very easy to get done. The topics spoken about in this class were interesting, 10/10!

This is the second course I have taken with this professor. She is a very nice, easy grader, there was extra credit available, one easy group project, and some discussion, and quizzes, along with two exams that were lockdowned browser but not hard. Just do the work and you'll be fine.
