Great class, you learn alot, gets very interesting and if you attent to class she gives extra credits almost every day.No suprises she will tell you what you need to study for final test. Only one tets in the hole class, so do the extra credits.

This is the easiest teacher ever. To say that I never went to class is an understatement. I probably went to class twice the whole semester and got an A. No book necessary and the exam is an exact replica of the notes which she posts online. SUPER EASY!!! Without trying probably the easiest A you will ever get at MDC.

The best you will ever have. There is no way you could fail this class if you listen to her lecture and read the notes she gives you. Start on the term paper early even though its only 4 page. I had her for philosophy and she required a term paper.. i passed by her office and she helped me draw an outline of my paper!! she is really nice.. the class can get a little boring after a while.. maybe it would help to do a bit more of class activities but it's interesting stuff overall! lots of extra credit

She is awesome! I took her for summer A and as long as you do the online assignments and participate in class, she takes it all into account and you will be rewarded accordingly. Do save all the assignments you do online and any emails you send her because she does tend to have a little bit of difficulty with the "Angel" system.

There's only three tests and there's no opportunity for extra credit. the questions are your opinion so you don't really know if you got it right. She also doesn't answer email. The worst thing about her is she takes her time grading. So you don't know what you received until its too late. Good professor very clear but not an easy class.

Honestly, i barely attended the class. I passed with an A, by going to the test reviews and studying off my notes, and other peoples notes. Philosophy is very confusing and not a class i would recommend as an elective. But Jamil does do a good job of giving you all the information you would need.

She's a good teacher. She tries to make up her own analogies to make understanding philosophical concepts easier. Reading is a bit necessary to grasp the more difficult ideas. You must be an OK writer since the tests are all written. 4 written tests, maybe some extra credit, easy earned A.

Amazing Professor. The reason why she is late on grading because she takes her time reading ALL of the short answers in order to award the maximum points. Not because she is Lazy, its the opposite. The subject is difficult bc you need to change your way of thinking (usually the case)not because she is a bad professor.

Ethics is a class where people stand at different starting points simply because of personality and life experience. This means to some it'll come easy, some a lil harder. Took this course online and I was a bit worried but honestly one of the easiest classes ever. As long as you follow the due dates and assignments the class is an easy A. If you're debating whether or not to take the class, take her! The only compliant i would have is that she grades things late, but other than that, great class!

You definitely won't regret taking this course with this professor. She made the lessons interactive and she's a great teacher. There's absolutely no reason why anyone should get anything less than a B in her class.

Just know this professor WILL NOT GRADE ANYTHING UNTIL THE LAST WEEK OF CLASS. As long as you stay on top of your assignment due dates, and actually complete them on time you will get an A in this class. She's bad as far as communication but the class is straight forward. She gives you reviews which basically have the answers to the quizzes.

Prof Jamil barely gave any work. It was 4 modules, one per month and each module consisted of only a couple of things. She was definitely very easy. You have more than a enough time to complete your work and as long as you do it you're guaranteed an A. Only one exam which is the in person multiple choice Final. Definitely would take her again.

Professor Jamil is amazing. The class was pretty boring most of the time but she tries to make it interesting and makes the information very clear. She also gives you many opportunities to bring your grade up. The exams are pretty easy since she takes all of her questions from the study guide. This professor spells out everything that is required to pass. She gives a study guide for the final and there was no midterm. There are four 1 hour timed essays at the end of each course module that you have to complete. I recommend do everything in the course module, post in the discussion boards and you should be fine. This course was easy, we had to do 4 essays, reading summaries, and a proctored final exam. I attended this course online, so I had to work independently, which was great for me. She spells out everything that needs to be done in great detail. I would definitely take her again.

I just finished this class. This was the easiest class I took this semester. I was a little afraid, because of the essay writing, but it was easy. This was a very easy class, I would take her again. Well its easy if you study and read the book.

Prof Jamil is amazing and funny. She makes ethics very interesting. She always uses examples and explains in detail everything she talks about so I was never left lost or confused. Besides her taking long to grade exams, which is understandable. She is a great professor and I highly recommend taking her.

This was by far the most easiest online class Ive ever taken. 4 modules, they are basically due at the end of each month, so you have a whole month to complete them. Only thing I didn't like was that she barely reached out and you technically don' know your grade until she decides to grade. Textbook wasnt really necessary,but i brought it anyways.

I really enjoyed Professor Jamil's lectures although sometimes they were hard to follow. She usually just writes on the whiteboard and talks instead of providing powerpoints or other visuals so pay attention. ALSO, your grade is DEPENDANT on doing well on the 3 exams because those are your ONLY grades. You need to study and take good notes to pass.

Your grade is based on the average of 3 tests, participation and attendance. She does a really good job of explaining the readings and breaking down the topics. If you do the readings along with the study guide you'll be fine for the tests, the test is 4 questions(you pick from 10 questions)and they're extremely similar to the study guide questions

Great course. In the beginning it seems like there's a lot of writing but it's really not that bad. Fair grader. I would definitely take her class. Great teacher and provides a great study guide for the final which helped tremendously.

Course has 4 modules with 4 discussion blogs and 13 quizzes. You will need the book! Also 13 essays that she does check for proper grammar, spelling, format, etc. No midterm but does have a proctored final with 25-30 multiple choice and true/false questions. She does provide a study guide! Overall, good and personable professor and class. Take her!

I got a B+ because I slacked on few assignments and sent some in late but the class is very easy. You do the work, you will pass. The work (reading summaries/essays) can be a bit time-consuming and you will have to do some reading so you can effectively write about the subject matter. Besides that, it is manageable! Prof is understanding and cool!

This class is really easy. Only a small amount of homework actually tests your knowledge on the different philosophical theories, but majority of the assignments is summarizing what you read. She grades the latter mostly on how you interpret it personally. You just need a basic understanding of what you're reading and this class is an easy A.

Great class if you like writing short essays on philosophical topics. The assignments are always clearly stated and she grades fairly fast. The only thing is she can be hard to reach sometimes but I would recommend. I like that you can work ahead and do assignments when you can before the overall due date.

SUPER EASY CLASS, 4 500 word essays, easy 10 question quizzes and discussion boards, cancelled final exam and I ended the class with 99%. Doesn't really respond to emails but assignments are clear and easy to understand I took it online and had no issues

She gives you lots of time to complete easy modules, like 1 a week. Deadlines are given ahead of time for each module & gives you the freedom & option to do it all at once or just pace yourself. Lots to read but perfect class if you prefer to just get the homework done and on to the next. Any opinion says otherwise, take it with a grain of salt.

The class is easy, but the work she assigns is very tedious. There is no midterm, but there is a proctored final.

The class was essay heavy so expect to write a lot, but Professor Jamil is a fair and timely grader. Pretty simple class once you get in the groove of it, you will get an A if you do all your assignments. I really didn't like the InQuizitive assignments, but I won't hold that against them as that software might be a school requirement.

This professor is not a heavy grader. Every assignment I turned in I never got less than 100%. You will have to do a lot of reading but she gives you a good amount of time to complete them. Professor Jamil was a pleasure to take during my summer course. For the summer course it was a month and during that month it was just 3 essays and about 11 journals plus 6 quizzes. Since the class was only a month each journal and quiz was due by the end of Friday. Attendance wasn't necessary and she was always great and easy to contact.5/5

I took this class in 8 weeks, fully online. Although it mainly consisted of writing assignments (3 essays and 13 journals), it was easier than I thought. The course was organized, and Professor Jamil sent us reminders every week and was always willing to help. She also provided us with a review for the final exam.

I was wondering why I needed critical thinking to be a Nurse and working in the hospital. I witnessed Nurses that actually needed it. So it's an amazing class. A lot of work, but it's manageable because she spreads it out over time. No finals or Proctored.

Also want to add, there are 13 journals total. 3 major papers to write; topics are very easy if you read the chapter and/or do a little extra research. There are several quizzes but they are only 10 questions each and very easy. No midterm or final. SHE'S REALLY GREAT.

Clear grading criteria. I took a mini term so there was a lot of work. 2 Journals and a quiz due every week and some weeks an essay discussion. Proctored final is only 1% of your grade. I'm very bad at writting but she provides good feedback on the journals, they're easy. Drops your lowest 4 grades(journals). I recommend taking this professor.

Such a great class. If you aren't into engaging writing you might become bored. Course work was pretty cut and clear, interesting topics to write about. Need to read the book to understand. Drops the lowest journals grades! Very understanding and easy to get in contact with. Doesn't like last minute work/submissions.. but overall I'd recommend her!

It is straightforward and educational; you don't need a textbook. Her lectures are excellent for your discussion. It's easy to find resources, and you can learn from them. I would retake this class. Everything is simple; don't turn in late work, but that's all.

I took professor Sabrina Jamil's online Philosophy class and really enjoyed it ! The class was set up in a way that allowed you to learn and grow as a person in a really easy way. The professor is very organized, straight forward syllabus and grading criteria.

Great class! The workload is manageable, with journals and essays that are easy to complete if you stay on top of things. unstuck study was a lifesaver for reviewing course materials and preparing for the final exam. Professor Jamil is super helpful and provides great feedback.

Great professor. The final is only 10% of your grade, and she drops your lowest quiz and Packback grade. I took a mini-term, and had weekly quizzes, discussion posts, and replies on Packback. The workload is easily manageable if you stay on top of your due dates. Professor Jamil responds promptly and also keeps up with grades.

Professor Jamil's class is very lecture heavy. You don't really need to read the material provided due to her going over everything in the lecture. You don't have to have the camera on during class. She is very homework heavy as well. You need to do discussions every week and a quiz (none proctored) every week based off the lecture.

Great professor lectures can be a little long but she was very caring and made sure we all understood and broke down any questions we had. And made it clear what we had to do on the first day of class to pass it.

Professor Jamil's class was very easy to pass. You DO NOT need the digital material book fee for PHI2010. Opt out of the digital material if you can. Just one packback every 2 weeks and 10 question quizzes that are also easy where you don't need the book at all. No final or midterm. Does not grade attendance, optional.

This is my first online class in the spring term, the quizzes are straight forward and pretty easy to pass if you know the material in the online textbook. So far, I promise you philosophy is easy with this professor even if it's online.

Prof. Jamil is incredibly passionate about teaching. Her online class' attendance isn't mandatory and you really only have to worry about writing and doing pack-back works (basically posts and replies about topics). I do highly recommend reading the textbook and not cheating as it's a lovely subject. You can tell she really cares about her students
