She is the rudest teacher I have met. She treats you like you are high school students. She talks down to her students and spends the majority of the class period reprimanding students like they are children. We have a 6-8 page paper due every week, with different topics that are so lifeless, She made me so miserable I had to drop!!!!

AVOID THIS TEACHER! 9 weeks into the semester she FAILED to grade anything. I had to meet with the department chair to invoke her to grade and give feedback on the first paper that we turned in. When asked the question "why do you need to copies?" the response was loudly "BECAUSE I SAID SO!"

She was basically retarded, and she gave me an incomplete for something I did. So, she made me waste an entire semester listening to her nasally voice for nothing. She is a waste of tuition and I believe I will protest for a refund. She is the worst teacher, I would rather learn from a caveman. Goodbye.

I took her online class, and did not like it at all. She is not clear on what she wants, and when you asks she tells you to go read something else. So she won't give you a response. She graded pretty hard. I thought she expected more out of her students than what she should have. I would not recommend this teacher to anyone!

The worst professor the university has to offer. I don't know how she got this job. Extremely rude, unclear and unprofessional. Her class is rediculous, you never really know what is going on and assigns deadlines for every Friday night and mixes up due dates, so it is easy to miss assignments. A mean, bitter woman who shouldn't be teaching.

Absolutely horrible professor. Changed due dates all of the time. All of our papers were due at the same time... the last day of school. Did not give clear instructions, but would yell at us if we did the paper wrong. How were we supposed to know if she doesn't explain what she is really looking for? Do not take her class, do not buy the book.

She grades extremely hard. She talks to you like you're 5 year old. She responds to your emails after a assignment is due, or 4-5 days later. Doesn't explain assignments well. I'm wanting you not to take the class. Safe your self from a rude person who thinks she's so funny.

Basically she blows. I come from a really competitive highschool and when taking here english class i cited myself on one of her papers and she wrote back GOOD JOB! for a review. She doesnt look at your papers, just get on her good side and you'll get a B or higher. She doesnt like black people btw, its kinda funny if you're white. Good Luck.

Doesn't even teach, talks to you as if you are stupid and is always yelling and argues with herself. She yells even if you just ask a question very strict and im just lucky i already have taken the same class before or else i would have no clue i feel sorry for the students in there shes horrible and do not take this class for a first year class.

Avoid this course and professor at all costs. Even if it means transferring schools you'd be far better off. Expect no feedback/grades all semester until the end when its to late. Expect snarky, attitude filled responses that make you feel about 3 inches big. Every single assignment is a mess and no clear direction is really ever given. AVOID IT!!!

Worst class I've taken at the university. Your life revolves around this class. Monday- Sunday you better make sure you're working on something or else you'll miss the deadline and it's a 0. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Try to email her? Probably won't get a response. 0/10 would not advise taking this class.

I would not recommend this professor to my worst enemy. She speaks down to the class and students. Always feel like she is yelling at us. Does not explain assignments but expects them to be perfect. responds to only a few of the classmates rough draft, picked and chooses who she wants to give feed back too. graded at the begin of semester failed to grade anything after, never gave papers back graded so you never know where you stand in her class, very rude, belittles, talks down to students, I think she just grades on attendance.

Doesn't let you make up tests, quizzes, papers or worksheets. I told her I wasn't going to be there for a class and asked what I would miss, she said just notes and to get them from another student. She then gave a quiz on the day I was gone (after asking what I'd miss the class before) and gave me a 0/15 which brought my average down a lot.

RUN AWAY.

Gives so much homework and papers that she can't even keep up with grading. Be prepared to spend endless amounts of hours on final paper. Worst professor at university.

you can learn a lot in lectures but overall is not a good professor. was extremely rude to foreign students/slow learners. Said you would be doing work correctly when asked and would grade your paper the opposite. didn't even grade final paper. kept pushing back due dates. don't waste your time taking her.

How does she keep her job? She doesn't seem to want to do it. Comes into the room with an attitude and doesn't know what she is going to do and just says whatever. very lazy and rude. Sits at desk and practically lays over it. Nothing is ever graded. If this was what I have to deal with in all my classes, I would quit college and be a panhandler.

She gave tough assignments and did not give anyone the opportunity to work ahead. Sometimes she would not put up submission links for assignments and the class would be left in a frenzy wondering if we just can't find the link. I am writing this rating with 1 week remaining in the semester and she still has not graded over half of our assignments.

She seems to have very little knowledge of what she is teaching. I learned more in AP English 3 in high school than I did in ENGL 1110. She assigns papers in the middle of the previous paper. You end up doing three-four papers/projects at the same time, none of which have an active due date. Projects do very little to test what you actually know.

She takes forever to upload a link to turn it in so you have to stay up late to turn in assignments. She doesn't give good feedback on papers, or even at all. Every time I have this class I wish I was in a coma instead.

Try to avoid at all costs. So much homework every week to go along with writing assignments almost every week as well. Lecture are boring and she takes forever to grade and provides even less feedback. Do not take her class.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. I am in her class right now, over half way through the semester, and not a single assignment has been graded. She assigns WAY too much work, but can't keep up with grading. Besides, all of that, she is extremely rude. If you ask a question in class or email her, she is inconsiderate and nasty in her response.

I would not recommend taking her class. Professor Peters-Whitehead barely explains anything in more detail, and she rarely posts grades. If you try to talk to her, she is really rude, gets mad at you for no reason, changes dates like crazy, and will yell at you for no reason. For changing the dates a few times, but doing all the time is crazy.

She is one of the worst professors I've ever had. The semester is nearly over and I have 20+ assignments still not graded and she keeps assigning more HW. She constantly changes due dates and is very short with students when we want to know what is happening with assignments. If we are expected to do this much work she could at least grade it.

I would give a 0 if I could. Is nasty and mean with students when questions are asked, changes due dates CONSTANTLY, hasn't graded ANY assignments, and the semester is nearly over. She gives too many homework assignments and they're completely useless since they're not graded. Avoid at all costs, never take this professor.

Worst experience Ive ever had. She postponed EVERY ASSIGNMENT and when I say it was ridiculous, I mean there was a time where it was 11:57pm and she sent out an email to tell us that the assignment due THAT NIGHT IN 2 MINUTES (at 11:59pm) WAS PUSHED BACK. What is even the point? SO ridiculous and stressful & she gave us all projects at once.

Take this class a different semester if she is your only option. She makes students peer review each other's papers so she doesn't have to grade them. Has graded less than a 25% of our assignments by the last day of finals, and rather be nasty to students who ask questions instead of answering. She is constantly changing due dates and says nothing.

It's currently finals week, and this woman decides all the final drafts from the papers that we have written are due by the end of this week. She does not care that we have other classes. Professor was difficult to work with and was not understanding AT ALL. She was rude over email and treated the class like we were preschoolers. Didn't grade a single assignment until 2 weeks before the course ended. For my final paper, she went on vacation a week before the semester ended and I never got a grade back for my last 5 assignments.

This professor is very rude and does not grade any of are assignments ever. Ruins my day every time i go to her class. She doesn't even deserve one star. Choose any other professor over this one, id say this class is easy but but she never grades any assignments.

Prof Peters-Whitehead is perhaps the worst professor I will ever have in college. She is an absolutely awful grader, and has lied to me multiple times in regards to when things will be graded. All of the major papers she has you submit for her review have not come back. She also is super inconsistent with due dates. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HER.

The semester started on January 13. We didn't get a syllabus until the19th. And we have only had 3 classes meet in this time. In one of those classes we got a weird assignment about dolls. I need to get OUT of this class, but it is too late to drop and register in a different one.

If you never want to have a class, this is the class to take. Class has been canceled or doesn't meet. She expects students to attend but she canceled a load of classes already Surprise surprise. No class Monday. No class Wednesday. Waste of money and time.

This professor has not completed grades all semester. She has canceled class over 6 classes. Throughout the semester, she has started 4 different main projects, and none have been fully graded or pushed to create final drafts. I don't think the class is difficult it is just very unorganized.

Class time feels disorganized, with constant tangents unrelated to our course work. Large assignments appear on Blackboard with little notice, and lectures often don't align with current tasks, making it hard to prioritize or stay on track. If you appreciate organization and clarity in your coursework, you may want to consider an alternate choice.

Turned in every major project in the last week of the semester and graded everything at the last minute. I might not graduate because of her.
