I have never been great at math, but Sadie has made me feel hopeful. She is a FANTASTIC teacher, and I wish I could take every math class for the rest of my life from her. Class attendence is not mandatory, but I would never miss a class because she explains things better than the book ever will. Great teacher.

Super great teacher, she is quite hilarious and a young teacher. She is so helpful and every time she explains a concept, she will ask if everything is clear and doesn't make you feel dumb for asking so many questions.

I can't fault her for my C+. Her class was easy, and she was clear about what was going to be on tests. I only showed up to the class three times and she accepted all my late homework and tests. She works hard and does a good job. She is more than fair, and I would recommend her, even though I might take the class again to get that A.

She is truly amazing!!!! i have never been good at math and would score 60's on math tests but with Sadies' class I was in the high 80's mid 90's. She makes it easy to understand!!! I am taking her 1090 next semester. If you struggle with math TAKE HER she is amazing and will help with Math over TEXT! can't beat that.

She is a very good math teacher. i struggle with math and she was very clear with concepts. Also a calculator pro and can teach you a lot of good tricks with the calculator. i would recommend her to anyone. allows your final score to replace your lowest test score. opens up the online homework at the end of the semester so you can get full credit.

Sadie is hands down the BEST math instructor I have ever had. She uses MyMathLab for homework which is super frustrating, and the only thing I disliked about the class. She is approachable and willing to repeat things in class. This was my third time taking Math1010 and I understood her instructions so much better than other instructors.

Best math teacher I've ever had, hands down. I had her for MATH 1010 as well. Crystal clear lectures and she's able to help the slower students during class without completely derailing the lessons. Uses MyMathLab for homework which is by far the best in my opinion. If you do well on her mid-terms, the final will be cake.

I had her for 1010, and I had to have her for 1050 because she's the only math teacher that I've had where I actually understand the material. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask because she's not judgmental, nor will she make you feel dumb for asking. I wish she taught at the U so that I could keep taking her classes!

I absolutely loved Sadie! She was always willing to help whenever needed. You definitely have to study for tests, but she is great about pointing out what to focus on, so there are no surprises. She did a great job of preparing us for the final exam. She had a fun personality. Would definitely take her again.

Sadie Is freaking awesome! She is always there for you as long as you are putting forth some effort. She would always answer my Emails and she gave us some great preparation for the final. I took Math 1050 online and I have to tell you..... It was really hard. I was extremely dedicated to the work. I often found myself doing about 8-12 hours of Math homework/self-teaching/quizzes/exams per week. It wasnt easy. If you are not self motivated this is not the route to take. If you are up for a challenge this is the place to be.

She teaches well and is willing to meet outside of class. I had never taken trig before, but by attending the lectures, reading the book and a bit of side work, I was able to do fine in her Calc I course. You're in college. Expect work, do the work and you'll be fine.

this woman is the BESSST! when trying to make you understand something visibly on the board, her color coding is on point! and she makes note of what students have struggled with on exams historically, and she spends a LOT of time making sure her current students grasp those concepts specifically. This is a really efficient teaching technique!

Sadie is an awesome math teacher! She breaks it down into real terms instead of abiding by the books "old fashioned Hebrew" vocabulary. There wasn't any test that she didn't prepare us for.

Sadie is such an amazing professor. She writes everything out on the board in different colors to make it easier to understand. The homework is all from WebAssign which I thought was extremely helpful. Her exams are a little tougher, but it definitely prepares you for the final. She made calc bearable and I thank her for that. She's hilarious too.

Sadie is a wonderful teacher! She goes through how to actually do each type of problem, with it all on the board and well organized. She's easy to listen to and follow. It moves fast, so keep up. Homework was hard and a lot. Tests were better and fair with partial credit awarded. Wish we had more time to review and practice, but a lot to cover.

Sadie gave the most amazing lectures. She had a lot of material to cover in class and needed to go rather quickly through the each section. She taught the math concepts in a way that I could understand and explained them so much better than the textbook. My notebook from her lectures in class was my textbook and study guide.

Sadie teaches her class very well. Always gives solid reviews for her tests. If you are lost, ask for clarification; she teaches quickly but will go in depth if students participate and vocalize confusion.

Sadie is super chill. She explains Calc in a super simplified way so that you'll grasp it. If you can't succeed in her class it's because you weren't prepared w/ prereqs or don't want to put in the work. She is the best math teacher I've had between school in CA and here. Stoked I took her class!

Math 1050 is a very challenging class, and Sadies amazing guidance got me through. She is an amazing lecturer who understands student POV and explains concepts in a way that is relatable and understandable. She focuses relevant material to prepare you for tests and future math courses. Funny. Smart. Hardworking. Chill grader. Would take again.

AMAZING teacher. She made math easy to understand. She cuts out all the confusing ways that the book explains math & teaches easier ways to understand it. Homework assignments are all done online so you can get help on solving the problems right away. Tests are straight forward. Attendance isn't required but in order to learn, necessary:) Take her!

I took math 1010 and math 1050 from her, she does use the math lab which people tend to either love or hate, I wouldn't recommend taking her classes on line, she just doesn't have that part set up very well. But in class she is really awesome to make sure you understand the material before moving on.

She is a great teacher! She is very willing to help and answer any questions. You can redo the homework, as many times as you want to get whatever score you want, there is access to example problems and how to do them step by step in MyLab. MyLab sometimes can suck so she gave everyone some extra credit for putting up with it.

I picked the top three to describe her. She's so engaging with the class (it was online so that's major points) and offers great examples to help the work make more sense. I am still waiting on my Final, but I am grading her based on everything before it, because the Final is definitely on me. She's a great choice and offers tons of resources.

This class requires around 12-18 hours a week on homework. It is a heavy load to take on especially online. I never found time to study for the final which I bombed. So i'm retaking this class again. She uses my math lab that have around 30 questions and 4 sub questions. I would've had a B if i didn't fail the final. Be ready for lots of homework.

I took this class online and Professor Thomas' recorded lectures were a lifesaver. She does a great job explaining things and provides some helpful tricks. The group discussions also helped a lot. I would take another math class from her again.

Never read the textbook once in this class, the lectures gave plenty of information to work on homework and study for exams. She goes over all the content you need to know for exams, and will make sure you know what to study. She won't throw something at you that she hasn't explicitly taught. She explains concepts fairly well.

Sadie is awesome! She gives you every chance to get an A on everything. She will give reviews the day before a test and spent a lot of time reviewing for the final. I would take her again for any math classes I need! She makes it so easy to understand and will spend time helping you understand it.

She is very clear on the material that she teaches. Even on test she give you the ideas on what you should be studying instead of wasting all you time reading the entire chapter. You don't have to show up, but it does not make it easy to learn the material so I highly recommend going.

This course was easy to understand & work through. Sadie was great, I messed up on a couple of problems on projects & instead of just leaving it as it is she reached out to let me know & gave me a second chance to rework the problems & resubmit for a better grade. Make sure you study and understand the material especially for exams.

Easy & straight forward. Homework wasn't too much. Help with problems were quite vague & useless- use online tutoring tool instead. There's an online 'textbook' if you do the problems in the sections consistently (not required) you'll excel in the class (answers frequently wrong). I would 110% take this class again. Study & you'll do great!

Sadie is a really great math teacher! If you attend class and listen to her lectures you WILL get a good grade. She knows how to explain things without making you feel like you don't understand. She ins't afraid to admit when she makes a mistake like other teachers. And she actually cares, she reached out about assignments letting me redo them.

I took Math 1050, 1060, and 1210 with Sadie and passed all of them first try. She explains things in a way that is easy to learn. She is very clear on what's expected for exams and gives reasonable feedback. Offers a 10% bonus on homework and replaces your lowest exam with your final exam score. Put in the necessary effort and you'll pass.

I thought this professor was great! She saved me from failing this class. She'll tell you what's on the 7 exams and as long as you actually look at the exam list and study what she tells you then you'll do great. The final is a different story but it's really not her fault (she doesn't see or write it) and she's a very lenient grader.

As long as you are willing to put in minimal effort into the course you should be fine. Others are saying the final wasn't covered thoroughly, but I think they weren't looking through all the resources we were offered because we clearly had plenty of information giving through our professor on what exactly to expect and how to prep.

Sadie is a down to earth professor who cares about her students. It is a normal math class with lots of homework and a few projects. Sadie is willing to take the time to make sure each student understands the material. Before each exam she would do a test review day where she would layout what kind of questions to expect on the exam.

When deciding to take this class, I had no idea who to take it with but a lot of people that I know who took the class already highly recommended taking it with Sadie. Sadie is an amazing professor who is willing to meet up and help you with whatever you need. The material may be difficult but if you put the effort you can pass. 10/10 recommend!

Sadie is a GREAT professor. It is math so there is a bit of homework but it is straight forward and not bad. You also have multiple attempts. Tests are based off homework and she was really good about teaching what would be on the final. Take her for Math and I am sure you will do great if you truly try.

i've given Sadie a good review before in 1050 but i feel like i have to do it again for 1210. because this woman could literally teach calculus to a monkey! if you get the chance take her class! you will definitely have a greater understanding of math and all things involving. And i so desperately wish she taught calc 2

I was so scared to take a math class online but Sadie has Canvas VERY organized and made it pretty easy. (I mean as easy as math can be LOL) She doesn't mark late work and she is really understanding. She was ALWAYS there to help if I needed it. For it being an online class she was very involved and attentive. Hard class but she made it doable!

Sadie is a really chill prof that goes over the course work in detail. The great thing about her is she isn't a robot like all the other profs. She grades fair and I felt I was as best prepared as I made myself be. Trig can be confusing, but she managed to teach me. I will look at taking calc with her in the future.

Sadie is an incredible teacher. She keeps in informed and works hard to make sure her students understand what they are needing to learn. Like any math class, there was a ton of homework. I spent an average of 15 hours a week on this course and got a B (I am an A student). Also, she had 8 tests throughout the semester, so you were being tested alot

Sadie doesn't reply quickly at all and doesn't really give feedback. The lectures are ok but you need to watch the lectures AND read the lessons or you'll miss information. I found the videos actually attached to the homework more helpful cause they are simple and don't skip steps where as hers do.

Calc 1 is an intimidating subject to learn. Sadie does such a great job at introducing this subject. It was a virtual class but Ive had her in person before and she was just as good. She does her best at giving credit on test. One thing I like about her is if you ask a question she will not make you feel stupid. Great Professor to take.

Sadie is one of the best teachers I've ever had. I wish she taught more than math so I could take her for more classes but hey. There's a lot of homework (it's math class), a quiz every other week and an exam every other week. Be prepared but stay on top of everything and you'll be fine. She's extremely understanding and just a great teacher.

There are many test but she provides an objective list on what's on the test. She is clear with how to solve problems. Put effort in class and on doing practice exams to get a good grade. I would have done better if I put more effort in it. I have taken another math 1050 and the teacher wouldn't tell us what would be on a test.

Sadie is VERY organized, accessible outside of class, and extremely open to questions. The homework is a lot like the exam so as long as you're caught up on the homework, the exam will be a literal breeze. She prepares you exceedingly well for the exam. I literally can't recommend Sadie enough, her lectures made calculus a breeze!

Sadie has been the best instructor I have had yet. She is well organized, gives good feedback, responds quickly and willing to help. There is a lot of homework, tests and quizzes but what do you expect from a math class? She cares and wants you to succeed. I look forward to taking her calculus class in the future.

This class is very well organized which is helpful for an online class. This is a very heavy lecture and homework class. If you do the homework you will do fine on the exams. I recommend doing the written homework after you have completed the online homework. Don't wait until the end to do those or else you will forget everything.

Sadie is AWESOME! She goes over each math question W/detail. If u have questions she will answer it&make sure you understand. I would suggest taking MATH1090 not 1050,SERIOUSLY I was nervous, but W/ Sadie it was a breeze. Mostly calculator which helps&Sadie always explains what exactly would be on the test&what wouldn't so U knew what to study for

Shes great! She explains very well and she is a very nice grader. There are due dates but nothing is really due until the last day of class. She does very well at preparing you for the final and all other exams! She's funny too.

Amazing teacher. I highly recommend her. She explained difficult concepts extremely well. She has no due dates. I don't suggest missing class though, you miss out on important topics because we cover so much content in one class period. She looks out for her students and is there to help us. If you have any questions she is more than happy to help.

Made lessons fun to listen to. Didn't require any participation. Practice tests were the same questions as the test but just different numbers so it was really easy to do good on tests. Due dates weren't strict either.

Sadie was amazing! This was the first time I connected with and understood the concepts she was teaching. She explains things very well, but the class is very fast-paced. We usually had unit quizzes every other week, but she prepares you well. Assignments can be submitted late for full credit. Don't recommend missing class. 9/10 would retake

The workload is heavy, with daily homework and frequent exams, but her teaching style helps break down complex concepts. Unstuck AI was a lifesaver for extra practice and preparation. I've always struggled with math and failed this class twice before. Sadie helped me pass with an A. She's very visual, breaks things down clearly. No HW due dates, extra credit options before exams, and smaller more frequent exams made grading easier and the material was fresh in your mind when you took them. Best math teacher i've ever had!

I'm taking one of Sadie's classes for my first time back to college in a year. She's extremely understanding and makes the courses as easy as possible while still making sure everyone has a deeper understanding of the concepts. She explains things so clearly. I would absolutely recommend her and I hope I can take more of her classes in the future.

She give digital homework like usual but also short written homework do she can see any mistakes we make and correct us. Her classes are recorded so you're always able to go back to the lectures if you miss class. I recommend still going every time!

Thomas is genuinely one of the best math teachers I have ever had. I'm quite sad she isn't teaching calculus as I would take every math class that is ever required from her. She has a deep passion for math and it made class surprisingly engaging.
