Learned quite a bit about Office Applications.
Great professor! Email him with questions and he will reply as soon as he can!
The instructions for this class are very straightforward and the class is easy even if you aren't skilled in using computers. The homework is easy but VERY time consuming. Professor Lee is always there to help and cares about his students.
Very caring professor and if you do the work you will get a good grade
Easy class, always sends out emails of when the website he uses is down, very nice person and overall great instructor
I really enjoyed my teachers reminders and supportive emails. These really helped keep me on track.
Professor Lee takes great care of his class by answering questions, replying emails almost immediately, and he is very understanding. He loves to give extra credit to help his students out. Going into this class, I thought I was going to struggle a lot. But with his help, I understood everything and have more than 100%!
Professor Lee is super chill and lets you work at your own pace. There are deadlines or grace periods for all modules that you complete in this class. I highly recommend this Professor.
Very helpful with all assignments. Great professor
Tons of homework. You really need to be focused and plan on never procrastinating or you'll regret it.
Great professor!
Professor Sae Lee was always readily available and ready to help as best as he could. He also always kept us in the loop when the computer program was down. There are plenty of extra credit opportunities.
Cares about your success in the class and will always be willing to help you improve your grade if you put in the effort.
Great professor. Little bit intimidating but is always there to help.
Pretty simple class if you do the work. Its not too complicated and late work is FINALLY accepted in an IT class!
Great professor! he sends announcements constantly so you always know what is going on in the class. Responds quickly. He cares about his students and does his best to make sure you get the best grade possible. On every assignment there is extra credit. And you can always re-do assignments. Assignments are easy but time consuming. Take his class!
always keeps in touch with his students and for his students to understand the material and pass.
Very good with communication.
Good Teacher, answers questions promptly although now always the most thorough with answers to questions.
A bunch of tedious work but overall pretty easy. Not compatible with macs and there were alot of technology issues.
I really recommend this prof . I have took this class twice and this prof was the best and easiest one .. He Email the students with update all the time and gives more time to do the assignments . Helpful , easy , not complicated and perfect . Take it and you will learn and pass .. But be responsible .
Good teacher, cares about students.
This is a basic 101 class, super easy just read the directions and follow the deadlines, it's a no brainer. Beware though, you need access to a PC.
Lee was very quick when responding to emails and assisting in class.
This class was one of my favorite computer classes. You learn about all the different programs of Microsoft by doing training, projects, and then a test. Professor Lee really helps you out if you have any problems with anything. The first thing he will tell you is that attendance is not mandatory because you can do everything outside of class.
a lot of busy work but it was clear and concise. If you did your work and have time management this class is pretty simple
He responds to messages quickly and upload tutorials on how to start textbook project which help immensly.
Professor Lee is a great professor. Although the work in the class is a bit heavy, he makes very clear about deadlines, due dates, grace periods, office hours, and is also always a quick responder when it comes to asking questions through email or canvas. 10/10 recommend taking this class with Professor Lee.
This is an online class but Mr. Lee is always happy to help whenever he's free. He kept us informed with anything related to the class and you'll have more than enough time for doing your assignments.
Very good class. It was very helpful and teacher was always available for help.
Probably one of the most useful classes you will ever take!
This class was very easy to follow and keep track with, Professor Lee was helpful when questions were asked. This course was not too hard and very structured.
Always is there when you need him, and reminds his students when deadlines are coming up.
If you have experience with computers this should be an easy A for you. There is a lot of homework, each assignment takes about an hour (if you only have to do it once). He gives you three chances to do each assignment. This class is go at your own pace but I would recommend staying on track.
You have to do the work to get the grade, obviously. He always addresses class concerns, needs, and specifically looks for feedback to improve himself as well. Gives extra credit opportunities and always accessible outside of class through messaging/email.
Professor Lee really tries to make sure every student is successful. The work is very straightforward and easy. He responds to emails super fast (if he's going to be unavailable, he makes sure to let everyone know ahead of time) and tries extra hard to help everyone. I wish I could take him for all my IT related classes.
Great class
I went to class once in the beginning of the quarter, as this was a hybrid class, and have managed to keep above a B in the class. He gives out a lot of extra credit opportunities, he is a very graceful professor.
Will pass as long as you keep up on the work.
Tons of work to do. I mean tons! There is sometimes 5-8 things due in a week. Worth it though. I gained a ton of information from this class. Do the work and you will do well. Wait until the last minute to do it and you will see your grade hurting from it.
I highly recommend him for IT101. This class was very time consuming and the assignments very "by the book" but whenever there was a problem he would always get back to you fast to answer questions. He also uploaded videos for training and topics he knew people were having trouble with.
This was a hybrid class and I enjoyed having that option. Attending class on Monday and Wednesday was not required since the course was all online but you could still go to get help. Easy to understand and the professor always would send emails to help and remind you.
This class is actually very easy if you keep up with all the assignments. the best part is that you don't even have to show up to the class. 90% of the time the professor is always there to help unless he's asleep of it's a holiday, other than that he responded to all my emails and answered all of my questions in a timely manner.
I didn't not really like this class because I felt as if it was a waste of time because most of the information I felt I already knew and was a waste of time to sit there and just type whatever the book said or go through training
This professor is very open to help when needed and is very on top of issues. Frequently when I had an issue I would check and the professor had already addressed the issue to the class. Overall an easy class as long as you don't get behind on the work.
He is awesome and the class is great. Best techniques of teaching
Class helps in future jobs Hard
Class is easy, just stay on top of your work. He has great interaction and responds to your emails pretty quick, especially if you are in his online class. He addresses all problems to everyone in class and keeps everyone updated on activities and interruptions.
I had the paper textbook and it didn't align completely with the online text, once he noticed he was very helpful and made very easy to follow video instructions. Always made sure students were aware of deadlines and stayed in communication.
Class is pretty chill. Would definitely recommend Professor Lee he is a good teacher and also a good guy.
Easy to approach and willing to help if you reach out. Really wants you to succeed. This class by nature has a lot of homework so the homework load not a reflection of him. Would definitely have him again.
IT101: It's not hard but its a bunch of busy work. Do all the work and receive credit... pretty simple. Just make sure to be prepared to sit for a few hours to get it done. Oh you cant do it on a Mac. He's a good professor and everything is really straight forward.
Always makes himself available to students, does his best to perform to the best of his ability.
Good professor, very available for questions and able to help. Understands the course material very well.
Lee was a really good instructor. I took his class online and emailed me back as quick as possible whenever I needed to ask him something.
Excellent class to start out with. If you are able to be in charge of your own learning and not have to meet in a classroom than you should be able to excel in this class. Sae Lee would always respond promptly whenever a question was asked and in a respectable manner. All around a great class to learn about Microsoft applications.
Always answered questions outside of class and let the rest of the class know in case anyone else had that question. Easy work, all online, do at your own pace, given one week (plus grace period) to complete.
Great class! Easy instructions and it is through the book. If you are on top of your work and are proactive this class is as easy as you make it! Open lab's are essential to this class. Make sure you pay attention to deadlines.
Mr. Lee cares about his students a lot. He is always willing to help.
If you get lazy and skip the assignments, you get in big trouble. Clear grading criteria.
The class was very easy and straight forward. As long as you followed the book, it wasn't difficult. Gives grace periods if you don't turn things in on time.
Communicates well with his students.
The amount of communication was widely appreciated.
This class is easy it works with your schedule. But it's very time consuming so try getting the assignments done earlier.
good professor, the only thing is that the class work is a mind numbing grind. its not his fault, its the curriculum. if your not into computers, this class will feel like a boring waste of time. but the professor is good, he actually cares if you pass and will work with you. the only thing is, be prepared to do a lot of work.
Amazing teacher! There was quite a bit of homework in the class but Sae Lee is one of the few professors ive had that I can honestly say cares about the students success above anything else. If he can put a name to your face he will be willing to help you in almost any situation.
He's a good teacher, and will respond quickly.
Professor Sae Lee takes his time out to answer all of the questions you have and takes the time to really help his students. He provides a lot of extra credit opportunities and the course work itself isn't too bad!
This class should be more than 5 credits based on the amount of homework you are reserved. Professor is willing to work with you on assignments and deadlines.
Loved the class. Learned a lot about the programs that I did not know. Also, the ability to work ahead made it easier for me to focus on other class I was taking.
The class is not difficult, but there is a lot to cover. He makes the material clear since the beginning of the term. There is a lot of chance to earn extra credit. In general, it is a nice class.
Good class I learned a lot. I do admit the due dates are a bit relaxed which allows me to keep up except for a few parts where I waited too long and couldn't finish in time. That's my own fault.
You have to be able to manage your time well in this class or it will be extremely difficult to pass. There are a ton of assignments, and if you do them in a timely manner, you'll be fine.
he is good, he helps students to solve problems and it works.
This class will take you a lot of time so DO NOT PROCRASTINATE unless you like putting in 8 hours of nonstop work on the evening it's due. Everything is really clear, easy to understand, just very time consuming. I would recommend taking this online class in the fall or spring when the quarter is longer. The work is tedious, but not hard!!!
Since this is an online course, it was very important to be organized. Professor Lee helped us all by emailing weekly reminders of when deadlines were approaching, making sure we all knew about the cutoff dates. It was very helpful. Also, the tutorials were very helpful in explaining the course and requirements.
Great class, lots of work but I learned a lot.
Great class! Very thorough content and a lot of work for 3 credits but I learned a lot.
I really recommend taking this class online if you need the credit for IT. Although it is a lot of work, the projects, training, and exams are easy as long as you follow each step throughout the book. Every week there is an option to be able to recieve extra credit by completing an additional project. I
Not too shabby of a course as long as you keep up with the module assignments.
Mr. Lee is a great professor and he really cares about how well you do. I suggest doing most of the assignments ahead of time because they are very time consuming. The assignments are not hard, they just take a lot of careful work and attention to detail. As long as you do the assignments you should be fine. There are many extra credit options.
the professor could have been more involved in the class not just a bunch of emails but actual videos and explanations of the assignments.
Most definitely. It was an online class but he was easy to reach. Just no weekends which he makes clear. Cares about the students success.
Professor was very responsive and fair.
He, wasn't physically available often but he tended to answer emails rather expeditiously. He was helpful but kind of naggy. Overall a good choice of teacher!
Professor Lee was available almost every time I would email him and gives videos out to students for the first couple assignments to help people understand. Super nice guy and has a ton of extra credit I would highly recommend taking this course with Professor Lee.
He was super nice
Great class, though the Thursday due dates make completing work a crunch
Because IT101 is mandatory, I decided to take it online to open up my weekly schedule. I was glad I took it online with Professor Lee instead of the other professors I have heard poorly about. He's very helpful and time sensitive with replies, which was very much appreciated! He was a great professor, but the class is tedious.
Keep up to date with homework, or you will struggle. She does have extended assignment due dates
Very helpful. Clear-cut instructions all of the time. Gives good feedback. Easy class.
The class is straightforward and efficacious in its goals. There is a lot of computer work, much of which is mindlessly painful. Professor Lee was quick to respond to my questions and helpful in directing me to the necessary resources, all of which are provided online. For IT classes, I would easily recommend him to other students.
Lee has this class set up in a very organized way. He offers LOTS of extra credit and is helpful when you contact him.
I took the online version so I haven't experienced him much in person, but was very willing to work with me when I ran into unexpected life situations and accommodated for them as well as my procrastination. The course is textbook heavy in that you don't have to read much, but you have to do the textbook projects which can be lengthy and tedious.
The class is tedious
Mr. Lee was a great instructor for IT 101. Was very quick to respond to any emails regarding any homework that was assigned. If there was any issues with grading he would always double check it was graded correctly. If you've never had an online class before, i would definitely recommend taking this course!
Pretty good professor for a pretty bland class. Did an excellent job organizing all the material and due dates in a way that was clear and concise, gave a little extra time on assignments if it was absolutely needed, and offered extra credit every unit. Just do the assignments for this class and you're set.
This was an online class so not much communication was needed between us however he would give the class updates regularly and seems like a great professor.
It's an easy class and you learn a lot! Every module has a textbook assignment, a textbook project, training and an exam. you will do one or two modules a week. Takes about 2-3 hours to do a module. Mr. Lee is very fast to give back grades and respond to emails if you're confused. Would recommend this teacher if you are taking this class!
Very stressful, lot of assignment very fast need many hours of free time to work on homework just to pass.
Good guy!
Professor Sae Lee is a great online professor who provides constructive feedback and useful videos to help you on your way. I think taking this class is important for all students, you learn so much more about Microsoft applications. Easy A class but it's important you make time to learn and complete all assignments.
he will not communicate with anyone individually throughout whole course unless you do so first. does not really make sure you are learning.
Considering that it was an online class, he was very diligent with keeping in touch with the class. He answered e-mails promptly. The video hints to complete textbook projects were very helpful.
Great Professor. Kind and answers your messages. Follow instructions are really important in his class.
I took this online and as long as you read ALL of the review feedback after each project, this class is pretty easy. There's a bit of homework but up until Access it's passive stuff. Make sure to have access to non-mac computers.
IT 101 is the perfect class to take if you are looking for an easy A. Don't get me wrong, you have projects, training and tests. There is a workload but everything is spaced out nicely and you can see all your assignments for the whole quarter so you can space and balance everything out. Sae Lee is beyond helpful and very nice and responds fast.
Easy class just very time consuming on projects! I recommend this professor, and would take this class again. If you have a problem he is very helpful and and if you put in the time, it's an easy A!
Thank you for being accessible outside of class
Professor Lee is great!! The course content is clear and most of it is pretty easy because you go over the content more than once. I loved this class and recommend that anyone who needs to take IT 101 at Central chooses to take it with Sae Lee. It is a little time consuming but just put your headphones in and crank it out!
Easy A if you can read and follow assignment instructions. Provides multiple extra credit assignments and grace period to complete all assignments, training and exams.
Far too much homework and too much work to access the textbook
Sae Lee was very kind and willing to help at all times. When I emailed a question he responded quickly and with a ton of detail as well as the answer so I knew what I was doing and if I was doing it correctly. Very great at keeping the students updated as well. Also, even though I am a major in IT, I don't know much. (just to keep in mind)
Graded on projects, exams and practices. NEED book to be successful. Great teacher who gets back to students quickly. Content is not hard, just time consuming.
Sae Lee was very quick to notice when students were struggling with a concept, and jumped in to help get students back on track.
Sae Lee's class is pretty straight forward. I took it online and liked the use of Cengage to complete the homework. As a general rule, the work is all pretty easy. I didn't get the best grade because, shocker, you actually have to do the work to get an A. It was my first attempt at taking all of my classes online so my time management sucked.
Teacher is clear about expectations. Book is necessary, because it has all of the info that you need to complete work. I used eBook, and it worked great. I do not know if he grades or if the computer does, but I think the computer does, because the smallest spelling mistake can cost you points. The course is easy, but time consuming.
This class was an online class. Mr. Sae responded within the day or next day. He also gives the class updates about every week or couple of weeks. Easy A class, but it's important you make time to learn and complete all assignments. About 1-2 Modules per week. Every module has a textbook assignment, a textbook project, training and an exam.
THIS CLASS IS A FAIRLY SIMPLE CLASS IF YOU HAVE EVER used microsoft office. I wasn't crazy about the mindtap system that was used but otherwise the class wasn't that bad. The instructor was helpful, and really great about giving reminds which is huge for an online class.
Course is very clearly set up- There is Training, Project, Exam, extra credit assignment each week (extra credit project optional). Clear directions and expectations. Book is essential for the course and you can't use a mac for most of the work on the course. Professor is very quick and helpful if you reach out with questions.
This class is very time consuming and has lots of homework, but if you follow along with the textbook you will pass each assignment. Pay attention to DETAILS.
