I'm rating him a 4 for easy not because the class itself was easy, but because the professor made things alot easier to comprehend and learn.This guy gives awesome lectures, tends to wake things up, very funny.He's also been on CSPAN several times,and it shows.Overall excellent professor.

This guy is the man if you take him and don't pass you are a true piece of worthless S***. He gives great reveiws and actually cares if you do good or not, by far the easiest A I've gotten. So remember zibbo's this is a great teacher.

Although the material for this course is a little boring, he does his best at making class interesting, and succeeds in doing so. He seems to genuinely care about how his students are doing. As long as you show up to class and pay attention, you will do well.

While I wasn't excited about the class at first, Professor Khan has made it well worth my while. He's not the easiest I've ever had, but I sure am learning A LOT! He is the 2nd smartest man that I know, and I wish this class could last forever. I'm think he's grate!

He is one of the best teachers I have ever had.The topic of the class is not the most interesting, but this guy makes you learn by telling personal stories and anecdotes.He lets you out early, tells you almost almost every question that will be on the test, and is just great teacher.Take his class!!

This teacher is honestly one of the best teachers I have had. He makes sure that you understand all of the material that is covered in class. And he goes an extra mile and tells you everything that is going to be on the test. So you wont find it difficult to study at all.

This Pro. is the best I've ever had at WSU. He's very FUNNY and at the same time very intelligent and you DO learn a great deal. Trust me it is the easiest A you'll ever get at WSU!! Recommendation: Take him. This class is THE MOST INTERESTING HISTROY CLASS IN HISTORY!! TRY AND YOU'LL SEE.

This Professor is the best and the easiest He practically gives you an A. I highly reccomend him to any student who needs an A. I barely attended class and passed with an A. If you fail this guy, then lord knows how you got through kindergarden.

Hey, Guys all of you want to get direct A, he is preety good, awesome, fantastic, I even recommend to my enemy to take him at least a once to have good grade. He jokes, explains when everything with moods or expressions or some times act everything clearly, good exams...clear in everything, go ahead make A...want to take him again in history 1800.

Khan doesn't care about the grade you get in his class. He knows we're all going to get A's. His main goal is to know that you've learned something useful when you left his class and I promise that you will. Awesome prof.

I wont lie and tell you that his class was not a piece of cake..but you also have to consider that this guy is EXTREMELY intelligent and knows more about whats going on in our world then most people ever dream to know about. Also, he just knows how to bring life into what would be a boring subject.

Great professor! If you dont already have an interest in the subject, you will after the first couple of classes. He makes you want to learn the material. He makes history relate to now in a fun way. Very intellegent man and you can pass exams by just comming to class. Exams straight to the point with 2 exams and 1 paper. lenient on due dates.

Khan is the coolest professor I have ever met. Class is always boring. I have no interest at any point. You’ll find 99% students to be Muslims and they already know their stuff so its a easy class for them. It is hard class but he is awesome and helpful. LOVES SPEARSSS:

His lectures are interesting and helpful. He is a pretty funny guy. Attendance did not seem to be a major concern. You could get by without doing the reading but the readings were very applicable to my paper topic and cut down the amount of extra research that was needed.

If you need an elective and just want to breeze by Khan's classes are perfect. I've had him a couple of times and you spend most of the class just talking about randomness. This guy is beyond smart.

Khan is an awesome instructor. The course content was very stimulating and he was always willing to help students by giving extensions if needed. Sure his lectures may stray from the topic, but his light-hearted humor made up for it. Keep up with your readings, go to class, and pay attention - you will do just fine!

This class was large so attendance wasn't really an issue. I thought that he was nice and helpful if you needed it but because the grade was solely based on two papers and two tests, that he told us exactly what they would be on before hand I did fine. If you keep up with your reading and study what he tells you too you will be good.

Great professor! I've already taken a few classes with him. He is clear, fair, and funny. He tells you exactly what you'll be graded on, and always works hard to make sure his students succeed. I would recommend him to anyone; and to myself for a few more courses.

to those who gave khan a bad rating are u kidding me? he gives you a study guide before the exam that has everything you need to know basically how can you not get an A? He's more interested in you getting something out of the class than failing you.

The course grade is based on two easy exams and two short essays. I disagree with the negative reviews: if you have a pulse, you will get an A in his class.

I forgot which NE class was it but this guy knows his stuff. he makes a the class interesting by have conversations and stories. U can't go to sleep when the whole class talking about interesting thing. And hes super easy. His exams are right off the study guide. and there are only 2 super easy exams. take 2 classes with him if you r undergrad.

Informal professor, 2 exams. No homework. Really interesting lecture FOR REAL. You must be lazy not to get a B in this class. When sitting in class, times fly, the content is boring but he brings in some interesting points during lecture and is pretty funny lol.

He was a great lecturer. He tells history like it's literally the best story in the world and you just want to keep listening. He's VERY knowledgeable and passionate. He wants students to love the subject and realize that history is essential to learn because even though times change, the human condition has not and we can relate to history.

Khan knows his history like the back of his hand & it gets noticed on the national level with NPR & Time Magazine always asking for his opinion. You will learn the material during & retain the material after class which is what college is all about. Highly recommended if you want a good grade, a laugh and learn a ton about Middle Eastern History.

Awesome instructor. You'll be lucky if you get a chance to have him as a professor. Examsessays take some work but very easy. Incredibly knowledgeable (not just history but life in general) and hilarious guy. Amazing lecturer, makes it interesting even though half of class time is reserved for tangents Definitely try to take one of his classes.

I did not know the first thing about the history of Middle Eastern and Islamic cultures, but he was a fantastic teacher. I looked forward to class every week. Really knows his history and he is not afraid to challenge your viewpoints. Probably the best class I have taken in my college career, and it doesn't even pertain to my major.

Professor Khan absolutely loves teaching Middle Eastern History. Besides teaching at WSU he gives a ton of lectures on various topics throughout the world. The guy knows his stuff and is passionate about it. Basically he is a Renaissance man & can provide a knowledgeable opinion on anything. His class is very student friendly. 2 exams, 2 papers.

Professor Khan is one of those teachers you need to take before graduating. His class is not like a typical class. As long as you're there enough for him to recognize you, you'll be fine. There are two papers, a mid term and final and that's it. His lectures often turn into a random topic day. Easy grader as he is very busy but will still help you

i took islam with him and HE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST! This class is one of the best I've taken. The topic is interesting itself, but Saeed Khan makes every lecture engaging to the point that I was excited to go to a 9 am class. Very easy: two essays and two exams, and he is an extremely lenient grader. He's also very caring and funny. This is a class you don't want to miss out on.

Professor Khan gives great lectures, as long as you attend them the essays, midterm, and final will be a breeze. There are 2 essays a midterm and a final, he gives you a study guide beforehand. As long as you put in the effort on these assignments you should get full points on everything. He really wants you to get a good grade.

Saeed Khan is very straightforward professor. Easy grader and open to talk to for help. He cracks several jokes but he tends to go onto tangents a lot. It doesn't disrupt the class's schedule though. Workload is not too difficult. He has good character overall, but gets a little testy when the class is late. Great class and I would take him again.

Best history class I have taken thus far! Professor Khan is a hilarious man that makes it very easy to get engaged and learn. Took this class for credit, but so glad I took this history class as the subject was super interesting to learn. Exams and essays are straight forward and easy to receive a good grade. Khan is a good professor and his classes are hilarious. You don't have to go to the class everyday and pass with a B at least. He's caring and helpful but sometimes his lectures are too fast and that's what I feel, everyone may not. His grading is very easy. 2 assignments and 2 exams which are easy to do.

I love listening to Dr. Khan and the topics the class cover are very interesting, BUT the sheer amount of the grade that depends on the final paper is intimidating and worrisome. There's really no outline or expectations given about the paper, just the due date and his availability to talk about his criteria.

Show up to class and actually participate and he will like you. His class is so much more interesting when more people participate and offer their input. Even if you throw out the wrong answer, it still makes for a more lively class. Do the reading before class if you want to have a more solid understanding of the lecture.

Saeed Khan is probably the best professor Ive had at Wayne State within my two years of being here. Global Studies is my major and Professor Khan is an authority in the matter. The class was just 3 components: 15-20 pg essay, participation, and a midterm. Everything was loosely structured so I advise seeing him one on one for clarity.

Book not necessary if you take really good notes in class. I found the book helpful for the essays and exams, but that's up to you. Class is graded on 2 essays and 2 exams. He gives you the exam questions beforehand, so they are pretty easy. He is a pretty easy grader. As long as you try and not half ass things, should be an easy A.

Saeed is the man. Easily one of the best professors at Wayne State. You're not graded by much though, so be aware of that. This is NOT a pass by class. Many people think since its a lower level class they can manage not coming to class and get a decent grade, but think again. Professor Khan is by far the best professor I have had at WSU! He cares about his students and makes sure they understand concepts and are able to analyze content. Relates lecture to real life.

This class was a joy to come to. He was a hilarious and very "real" teacher with knowledge on anything you could possibly imagine about the world. He only graded by a midterm paper and a final paper but he was super lenient on both. By far the best and most interesting professor I've ever had.

Professor Khan is an amazing man. He is so humble and down to earth despite doing so many amazing things (like meeting the Pope)! As for the class, the readings help to understand what Khan is talking about. They are not required, but everything sounds like you're in a philosophy class if you don't read. Online. Literally didnt attend lectures, the textbook is optional to read. Midterm and final arent based on textbook or lecture material. Definitely the easiest A u can ever get, just make sure u do the papers (midterm and final) and theyre due at the end of class

Truly a phenomenal professor and person overall. Incredibly insightful and knowledgeable and conveys complex topics in an easily accessible manner. Relates and emphasizes with students. Even if you dont have interest in course topics and are taking his courses for a requirement, youll have a good time. Cant recommend Professor Khan enough.

This class was probably one of the most easiest class I have ever taken. Only like 2-3 essays and lectures. You don't have to attend the lectures but for the essays you will need an idea of it. Professor Khan is open to questions and encourages you to speak up whenever possible. Loved this class!

awesome and literally the most intelligent professor I've ever had! The class was only graded by 2 essays (both due at the end of the semester) so I worked super hard on them - flash forward, grades are due and I get an A but the actual essays were never graded he just gave out As! I mean awesome I'll take it but some feedback would have been nice

Amazing professor that I had to do a rating on him! Easy going and teaches you so much, took The Age of Islamic Empires with him and you will learn a lot of interesting things in this class. I love that he gives the option to us to choose what essay to write. 11/10 would recommend him. He has did it again, setting the bar for every other professors

I liked the lectures, but in this specific class there were only two things we were graded on- the midterm and final- so make sure you do good on those in order to do good in the class.

The time I took this class, we worked with students from other countries to work on a group project about empathy and bias. He wasn't worried on participation or attendance. Overall good professor.

Professor Khan is a great guy. Very knowledgable and funny. Lots of lectures, but the lectures are really interesting. Only graded assignments are 4 papers which are fairly easy and straightforward. My only complaint is that he can be a little condescending when answering certain questions, so be sure not to ask stupid questions.

He is without a doubt one of the best professors. His lecture is simply amazing, and if you are enrolled in his class, make sure to attend all of his lectures. In class, he provides all of the information for the essay. I would strongly advise you to take his class.

I took HIS1800 last semester and GLS2800 this semester because I love this professor. He is one of the most down-to-earth people I know. I wish I could have a course of his every semester. He is a very easy grader but doesn't tolerate outright laziness. If something is confusing talk to him, and he responds right away! Few assignments nothing crazy

I absolutely love this professor! Read your material (it's quite interesting) and you will do fine. Attendance is not mandatory and he posts his slides but most slides are there for visual aid - it's best to attend your lectures. Super chill, sarcastic and just an amazing person. Highly, highly recommend taking any class taught by him.

Professor is super chill and makes this class a breeze. Just focus on the midterm and final - they're the only real work. unstuck study helped me prep for those and saved a ton of time.

Lectures are very heavily based on textbook, only assignments are 2 essays and 2 exams that are also in essay format. If you show up and put effort into your writing, you are sure to have a fun time and learn something.

I would 100% take another class with him again. He is so understanding of workload from other classes and only has a handful of assignment. His due dates aren't strict and has no late penalty. He doesn't read off slides and relates topics to what the class is speaking about, and his stories are so intriguing it's hard to not pay attention to him!
