Very helpful. She cares about her students.
I love Dr. Sadri!! She is very hardcore the first day, but she knows what she is doing! She knows the material and cares about her students. She does not believe in a handout though, and come to class prepared and with questions! I definitely recommend taking her class.
She Is great, hard but helpful. Very nice lady!
Love, love, love her. She knows her stuff and will take the time to teach you. She is very organized and available if you need extra instruction. If you get something wrong and can prove in the textbook she will give you credit. Very approachable.
very helpful, she knows what she is teaching!
GREAT professor...took her for both anatomy classes and wish I could take her again! Very hard, but very worth it.
Grading is all over the place.
This is a tough course, so know that going in. Great teacher.
Dr. Sadri is a somewhat good instructor. Her mood can be very dry most of the time. She seems to scare some students away from taking A&P and she treats certain ones like children. She yelled at my class one day in the lab for touching the bones, when we were trying to study for the midterm. Her attitude is horrible at times.
Dr. Sadri is a difficult prof to take. Her grading tends to be on the low side & unfair at times. So many students have dropped her class. The majority of the class is failing and this doesn't seem to bother her enough to figure out a way to clarify the material. Although, surprisingly helpful 1 on 1. Overall I wouldn't recommend taking her class.
Very unprofessional! Never explain good! All power points! Little knowledge about biology! In lab she disappears or check homeworks and seems upset if we ask her questions! Uses inappropriate tone when she talks to us and criticize us too much competing us to her who was a single mother going through school and we are just like playing! Not ok!
Very unprofessional! She does not teach! It is all power point! Very disappointed! In lab she is not helpful either! Seems frustrated if you ask her questions because we were supposed to figure it out! Heavy accent and pronunciation of medical terms sounds very wrong and hard to understand! She has no compassion to teach!
This professor is only good for those students who are interested in teaching themselves!!Unless you're one to study on your own and read the book on your own, you will not do well in this class! Do not take her class! Grading-she does that during our lab time and completely ignore us! We don't dare to ask her to help us with anything!
Currently taking Dr. Sadri...let me just break it down for you: All of those people complaining about her are failing or close to it! Why are they failing? They don't study and/or take this class seriously! I was a bit worried with her methods at first, but i believe you have NOONE to blame but yourself for failure!!I'll be taking her for A&P II!
Were we in the same class people??? She was telling her life sto us. She said "we all can do this" Did she not? I like her. She teaches what we need to know. She explains if you ask. Helful. she told us how to be a better test taker. TAKE HER. YOU HER.
Just ook her review. loved how she tells you to remember things
dr. sadri looks tough at first but she really is not. She is very helpful. Always ready to help you if you need it. She is not teaching A&PII this summer so I will wait until Fall. I really like her style of teaching.
I couldn't have asked for a better professor! The way Dr Sadri explains lessons in a great detail and how devoted and friendly to students she is cannot be expressed in words! She was my instructor in the lab too! Always willing to help! I highly recommend Dr Sadri! I will be taking AP2 in the fall with her! Beautiful lady inside and out!
Awesome teacher who will help you if you WORK. She does not tolerate LAZY UNPREPARED students! She always says : "You can do this" and you can but you have to *WORK FOR IT* and put in the time. Enjoyed her class very much. Thank you Doctor Sadri--your kindness will never be forgotten.
(Cont.) Also, I have no idea who said she was "hot". WTF have you seen her..? Some people are obviously blind. Jumped right into the powerpoint and expected everyone to know everything. I have never taken this class nor any college science class and was way overwhelmed. Be prepared for the worst if you take her. So glad I dropped this class! :)
Wonderful teacher. Whoever said she's not hot is a horrible person. There is more to life than looks. She is an intelligent teacher and is extremely funny. Truly enjoyed her class. Definitely taking her for 2114.
She is the absolute worst teacher I've ever had. She is difficult to understand, her lectures were unorganized and contradictory and she is not willing to help you. It's almost as though she saw pleasure in seeing her students fail. If you want an A&P teacher who cares enough to teach you what you need to know rather than trick you look elsewhere!!
She is the best teacher I've had since returning to school to get my degree in the medical field. I learned a lot from her and wish she was teaching 1612 this semester. She takes the time to make sure her students understand the curriculum.
Very hard class because the subject is hard. Dr. Sadri is awesome. If you show yourself to be motivated, read the material, etc. she will take the time to teach you anything you don't understand. But she will not make it so you don't have to actually read your material. You have to come with real questions.
Dr. Sadri is a great teacher. She is a little intimidating at first but she knows her subject well and is willing to help in any way she can. She is tough on drawings in lab, but again it is to help you. You have to do the work, and she will help you but she will not do it for you. You HAVE HAVE HAVE to do the work!!!
She is not helpful at all, she goes through slides in lecture in 3 seconds, and does not allow you to copy the information down. During reviews for test, you are not allowed to copy down any questions you may want to study. She tends to have favorites in the class, and if you are not one of them ill tell you now, GOOD LUCK. I DO NOT recommend her!
This is a difficult class, regardless of your professor. You MUST study, you MUST do the lecture notes BEFORE class. Dr Sadri is a no-nonsense instructor, she will not deal with your excuses. I started the semester a little wary of her but now I just love her! She wants everyone to succeed but you definitely have to do your part and study!
This professor is very kind and understanding. At first she can come off abrasive and hard to understand. If she is given a chance you will see that she is a great teacher. If there are things that are hard to understand she will explain it until everyone understands. She gives pop quizzes to ensure everyone understands then goes over them.
This is not an easy A but it is possible. Just listen in lectures often times she emphasizes points that are on the test. Quizlet is a great resource if you don't have a study group. Most other reviewers are correct about her being a little intimidating but she will help you if you ask questions.
She is an excellent teacher. Very helpful and care about her students. I am taking her again for 1612.
I had Ms. Sadri for A&P. First days in class you are automatically put on the spot. if you are shy like I am , she is not the teacher to take . She takes you way out your comfort zone .You know how they say there is no stupid question ? basically with her there is . She hardly explains for you to understand .
Dr. Sadri is so mean. I was never comfortable in her class.. you never know with her, sometimes she appears to be nice, sometimes she doesn't. She barely explains anything.. her lectures seem like she just reads over slides which we can do at home! I wish I took somebody else. She makes the class way more stressful than it should be!
She tries to explain everything in simple words so you will understand. She excellent and I am taking her for 2114.
The teacher is by far the worst teacher I have ever had, if you can switch out of her class immediately. She caters to the students that are on a higher level she does not care about the students that might need things broken down. A very rude professor and she allows the slide shows to try to teach you the materials.
Dr. Sadri should have been fired a long time ago! She is condescending, disrespectful, mean and delights in seeing students fail, struggle and stressed out! She also has a very thick Russian to middle Eastern sounding accent making it very difficult to understand her. She has no business whatsoever being an instructor!
READ!!! Prepare yourself, and take good notes. She's a tough grader and won't give you half a point if you didn't earn it.
There're tons of materials to read & understand and Dr. Sadri is the best instructor to prepare you to overcome all complexities of this course. You looking for A? Devote enough time to study before each session, do the manual exercises with your teammates, and listen carefully to lecture materials and ask for any questions you may still have left.
This class is very difficult and you are expected to know the information before coming to lecture. The tests are very specific and you cannot know just the broad information, so the studying for 3 hours a day minimum is no joke. You are put on the spot and randomly called on pretty much every day in this class. Take this & lab by itself if you can
I loved Dr. Sadri! She was no nonesense but I respected that. She didn't waste our time(or let others do so) She was clear about her expectations for us and what we needed to know for exams. She is not going to hold your hand through everything. Instead, she makes you think and talk through the answer, which helps to better understand the material.
her slides really help with the lecture notes. She wasnt kidding when she said study 3 hours a day minimum. Eat breath and sleep a&p. great teacher though. really enjoyed her class. always willing to answer questions as long as they pertain to the material we have to know.
You need to study ATLEAST a couple hours/day. She expects you to be prepared to answer questions and to learn the material before class. There is a lot of information, you can't get behind. She didn't waste our time and made it clear what we HAD to know for the exams. She also doesn't let OTHERS waste class time(phones, talking, off topic questions)
I was initially intimidated by her from what I've heard from other students. She still intimidates me, but I love her as my instructor. I had her for A&P 2 Lab. She keeps it real and expects more from her students. I was pleased with her class. She grades promptly despite having other classes after ours.
Dr sadri is a good instructor in the sense that she will let you know upfront what's expected. She tends to prefer certain group of individuals though(very smart ones). Which is why certain questions come to her as stupid. So you feel more comfortable in her class only if you're smart. I don't think it's right especially for this difficult class.
Hard hard hard. No offense, but accent kept me from understanding some topics. Took a hybrid class & it was very hard to keep up with the material. If you're taking classes plus this one .dont. You have to do nothing but study hours for tests. Very tricky. Nice lady though.
I took microbiology for her class. At first it was hard to understand her accent, but her class is not hard and she always is willing to help... Her test is pretty easy and i got 98 for midterm 99 for final. The lab is really easy.. and she is always willing to help!
Took her for lab. She has favorites and you can clearly tell who they are. She would get annoyed with me when I went ahead with the lab work? Doesn't talk much and is kinda rude when she needs a cigarette. The lab was boring and she would give people too much time to do simple things so we never finished or filled out our lab book. Accent isnt bad
She is the best! She lets you know from the very beginning that you have to be dedicated and ready to study. I had to study for hours every night but it is possible to get an A on every test. In relation to grading, she is fair. If you watch the video's and READ ALL the lecture notes the answers to the tests are there.
I had Dr. Sadri for A&P I and II. She can be intimidating and the material is difficult, so it's not surprising that a lot of students give her poor reviews. Ignore them. Students in her class have the highest chance of passing, not because she's an easier grader (she's very strict), but because she covers the material well and is always available.
Dr. Sadri is an outstanding and consistent lab professor! She goes over every single model and makes sure students LEARN. She is clear on what she wants and expects from us. Clear on grading rules and criteria. I did not have her for class, but I'm sure she is great! I wish she could teach A&P II lab as well.
Dr. Sadri is the most wonderful instructor. She is funny, supportive and really wants to help you succeed. She gives great feedback, responds quickly to questions/emails, and is very interactive with her students. She is easy to talk to and very approachable. She expects a lot from her students, and is extremely supportive.
I have taken Dr. Sadri for A&P I and A&P I lab also A&P II lab She is an amazing professor! She expects you to participate in class and be well prepared, that means homeworks completed lecture books filled out and you have read ahead. I highly recommend her she is very caring and wants you to succeed!
Worst teacher ever. She has a hard time speaking english. She does not post the powerpoints in class online which sucks. For the first 3 months, she didn't have the right grades in the gradebook . Lastly, if she is done "teaching" the chapters for the upcoming test, she will go onto the next chapter that goes with the a different test.
Dr. Sadri is super knowledgeable, she is a very vital person in the A&P department. BUT... she does have a fairly strong accent which can make it easier to daze off during lessons. The material itself is super hard and Dr. Sadri would go through everything very fast and just walk away so it was hard to ask questions and get help.
Dr. Sadri was excellent! Expectations are high. Be ready to study. The best advice: watch the videos , work the lecture notes, form a study group, use the STEM Center & Open Lab & ask questions. Dr. Sadri is very knowledgeable & available after class and via email. If you're willing to put the time in you'll learn a lot. Great class & instruction
Dr. Sadri takes time to demonstrate labs and provides clear instruction. She signs off on histology drawings as you complete them. She is approachable and encourages questions and participation. Start learning bones and markings early or you will be overwhelmed when midterm rolls around. The same applies to muscles/nervous system. Go to open lab.
SHE WAS HORRIBLE. SHE DOES NOT LET YOU TAKE PICTURES OF THE POWERPOINTS. SHE TREATS YOU LIKE YOU ARE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!!!!!
Save yourself. Get another professor
I have taken A&P on a university level and her class is 100% harder than it needs to be. I don't know who makes the exams but she'll say make sure you know a particular subject matter in and out; then its not even on the exam. It is a lot of information to learn and retain in a short amount of time. I will never take any science class with her ever
I never preferred her as my professor. I took her class as a dual enrollment student and found it very hard to deal with the full class load and her as a lecture professor did not make it better. she does not grade fair in my opinion. SPELLING COUNTS on everything!
She's tough, very tough. Do yourself a favor and find another professor. I stuck it out and got a good grade in the class, but I busted my butt.
very hard to understand. she expects you to know your stuff beforehand. her tests are ridiculous and tricky!
Here's the thing she is nice but wants you to know the information.. She cares about her students but will not give you any passes at all.. She is a very tough grader and test questions are super tricky.. I took her this summer semester and i can honestly say i barely got a B more than 50% of the class failed her class..
expects you to know the information before you come to class and if she asks questions she gets upsets because no one answers. GTC is not an attendance taking college as said on the website but if you miss class trust that points will be deducted. you cannot leave after a test because a lecture follows. Keep in mind tests are hard and tricky!!!!
worst professor. was told to study the final exam study guide in the lecture notes and we would pass. I studied the notes and then some and still failed because there were questions not reviewed. her tests are hard do not take her class. awful. I failed her class by 3 points and now have to retake.
Do not take her class. Her homework online is hard and class is very confusing.
Dr. Sadri is tough but an awesome instructor. She really cares and wants her students to pass. Grades are posted within 24 hours. Love the way she teaches. She expects you to study and be prepared.
I love the way she teaches and wants her students to do well. She is very knowledgeable. Always on time and ready to help you. She sounds tough at first but as you get to know her she is very nice.
Awful teacher tricky tests so beware.
she is an awful professor
A lot of people told me to drop Dr. Sadri's class, but I am so glad I didn't! Her teaching style was perfect for me and thusly I did much better in A&P than I ever hoped! She comes off as very intense and strict the first week or so, but she genuinely wants all of her students to succeed! I would take her for A&P 2 if she was teaching it!
Mrs. Sadri is a great teacher, I would take her again if I had to. The exam will come from the powerpoint files, the Sofchalk paper that are available when you log in on your blackboard and click on LESSON, and always complete the review that are in your book before each exam. You will definitely get an A
I see a lot of criticism about Dr. Sadri, but she was a great instructor. There is simply too much material for her to cover during the lecture, so she HAS to go fast. She will focus on the material that students tend to have a harder time understanding. The test are hard but know, the test comes from a 3rd party, not Dr. Sadri. I'd take her agai
I had Dr. Sadri over the summer session as my online Lab instructor. She was such a great professor, extremely knowledgeable, and inspiring. She pushes you to succeed. Always ensuring we understood the material and willing to anything to help us. Online lab did hold its challenges but she made it such a great experience. Would take her again!
Helpful during office hours but her explanations were not the greatest. I didn't pay attention to the lectures (I maybe should have) and taught myself from the course workbook.
It is a very hard class, but professor Sadri wants all of her students to succeed. If you work hard you can get an A. She is always available to answer questions any time you ask. Great professor!
I took AP1 Lab(online) with Dr. Sadri and I am so glad that she was my professor. she is very knowledgeable and her explanation is very clear as well. I think her rate on this website is def. underrated. I would love to take her class again in the future.
She's the head of the A&P department. She's very rude. Literally cared more about not having to create new test bank questions that they made it so difficult to learn by limiting our resources as students. Used Covid as an excuse to be lazy. Many students leaving GTC after this semester because of this department.
Not sure why Dr. Sadri has bad reviews. She is very caring & spends extra time when her lab is done reviewing for the midterm and finals. She went above and beyond making sure we did well. Quick to answer emails, and provided lots of feedback. This is NOT an easy class, so you must put in the work, but her classes were helpful just as she was.
I would not take Professor Sadri class, her voice is so monotone so its hard to want to actually listen and learn. The course is already hard as it is and she was one of those unhelpful professors. One thing I will say is that she graded the exams in a timely manner. One that I wish she would do that wouldve been helpful is create a study guide.
As I was very hesitant about my opinion of Sadri at the beginning of the semester, after the first couple of weeks I really started to enjoy her class. She is very clear on her expectations of her students and follows through.
She was nice on the first day but after that she came to be very rude. When students would try to talk to her after class she was always short and aggravated. Never gave good helpful tips when studying other than saying not to do anything all day and just put your face in the book. About more than half of the students in the class dropped her class
I think as long as you show up to class and already went through the lecture materials, you'll be fine during her class lecture. I feel comfortable asking questions and she welcomes them. She also does Kahoot games and practice tests - very helpful. She is approachable and knowledgeable. I really like her class and her, as a person - respectfully.
Dr. Sadri is an exceptional instructor. She has a direct manner that may be off-putting to some, but I appreciate this quality. Clear expectations from Day 1 (LOTS of studying prior to class, attendance, filling out lecture notes) & she's consistent. Promptly grades exams and posts scores. Gives good feedback for lab drawings & after tests.
Lacks care about her students. Flies through information, refuses to slow down when class isn't understanding. Refuses to make study guides, record lectures. I have fears for my success in my favorite subject. Doesn't teach but yells the material at you. Might as well plan on full self-study if taking her class. I regret taking her class. 0/10
i loved her as a professor shes very helpful when you ask. she moves fast in her lessons however the class has alot of content and made it clear from the start that it is a lot of self work. she had helpful reviews before a test and recorded lessons ( class was online however all tests were in person)
She is very caring and nice. She goes out of her way to make sure you understand the material. I wish she would teach AP2.
Is very straight forward in lectures. Very lenient in grading. If she feels like you got the concept but didn't get the Q 100% right she still gives you credit for your A. She emails & posts prerecorded videos, practice tests, and study guides. Participation MATTERS if you want to pass! A&P is a difficult class is as is. I would take again!
I wish I could take Sadri for A&P 2. You can obviously tell she cares about you getting a good grade. She shares her PowerPoints ahead of the lecture. She gives out study guides. She also holds review sessions via zoom before the tests. It says the text book is required but really it's just a reference. SADRI IS AMAZING.
If you do not need to learn during class and are better at learning independently, then this class is for you. During the lecture, the professor will only read the PowerPoint and touch on a few key points here and there that are on the test. Other than that she was just white noise in the background while I reread all of my notes.
Every time I came to her with a question either in lab or lecture, I was told either to "google it" or in an almost condescending tone "I don't know, what did your lecture notes say?" She rushes through PowerPoints during lectures in a very monotone voice, but she does grade tests very fast and posts the grade you got usually within a day
Dr. Sadri is very caring. She answers questions and willing to meet with you outside the class. She knows her stuff. She sends out reminder emails and gives sample tests. She gave us study schedule which was very helpful to keep up with the materials. She post grades on the same day.
Dr Sadri was a great Bio Lab professor. She explained every experiment prior to us physically doing it & was there to help if we didn't understand something. In class & out you know she fully understands what she is teaching and is a great conversationalist. I enjoyed her lab and would take another class with her!
She is bipolar, talk about dr. Jekyll and mr. Hyde. She flips on ya more than Simone biles. makes sense what I am saying? no I don't understand and the same three outfits you keep wearing is driving my fashion brain crazy. that's the true unknown if you ask me.
Dr. Sadri made this course easy and fun.
This professor: tough and extremely straightforward. She teaches to raise you from novice to prepared for the medical field. Have to understand the physiology very well to pass this class at GTC. This course geared toward nursing students. She's head of the A&PI. Can't do better than her for A&PI if you want to have a successful nursing course.
Professor Sadri is hit-or-miss - some love her, others struggle. She moves quickly, so staying on top of the material is key. I found using unstuck AI and the free textbook helpful for studying.
Dr. Sadri is great! took her for A&P 2 lab. Although it was a minimester, all her quizzes were on the study guide for the midterm or final. You will need to study your butt off to pass the quizzes. She did give extra credit and was super nice. You will pass if you study all the material; by the time you know it, you'll be done! (:
