very easy teacher. explains everything til you get it. you come to class, you will get an A. basically tells you what is on the tests so you will be fine. can half ass homework and will get full credit, but do it since very helpful to get A.

Math is one of my worst subjects, but Mrs.Hamed is a very good teacher and made it easier. She gives you opportunity to earn extra points. Her test are multiple choice which was also good. Take any math with her she very good teacher.

The best math teacher I've ever had! Tests are easy-questions are changed a lil from the study guides & lets us use a notecard for every test! Attendance is a required. The final is damn hard! It caused me to get a 'B' in the class b/c its worth 20% of ur grade (I bombed that bad boy!) Very fair teacher, but pretty hard to get an "A" in the class.

she tries really hard to make her students understand pre-calc, but she goes REALLY fast on the material. you can do a whole chapter in a two days. the material gets harder as the class goes on, but she makes time to meet with her students. test are basically the review sheet she hands out and sometimes have the exact same problems and answers.

I took her geometry class online, mind you I am horrible at math esp. geometry, the easiet passing grade ever, even though I didn't learn anything because her homework assignments were all the odd numbered problems so I copied them and when I bombed 1 of the 3 exams she let me correct it to give me points...easy peasy!

She's a great professor, i love her teaching method straight to the point. She always give review worksheets prior to exams, so if you can do well on those reviews you should A's this class. Plus she also allows you to use a note card for the test and lowest test grade will be drop. She made "math" fun.

Shez really easy. I took differential equations with her, however she did not cover all the sections. She skipped most of the book and tought just some minor parts which she felt to be important. It was the easiest math class that I have ever taken. If you are not worried about the content of the book and just looking for an A, GO FOR HER

She is very good at explaining things and will answer any question until u understand, gives a study guide b4 every test is almost exactly the same as the test and she lets u use a notecard and calculator on all tests. she is funny and seems like she loves teaching, always emails back promptly, and all hw is on the computer

She's def one of the best Math teacher ever...she's very organized with all her lectures and she's super nice. She gives you study guides prior to all the exams, so as long as you study it you should get an A on the test. She's very passionate about what she teaches and she's very helpful too.

Took her online class for calc, gave me a few chances to redo tests that i did horrible in, would recommend taking her online classes. Easy A's.

Drop lowest test and homework. homework online and so is the book. didn't need to buy a book for her class. Saved like $100. TAKE HER if you need a math class. kinda hot.

I took her for Calc 1 & 2 and I'd take her for every other math class I'll ever need to take if I could. If you really wanna learn things you'll have to study, but you can go into the class without knowing a thing about math and get an A. her reviews are almost identical to her actual tests and you get to use a note card on the tests. best teacher

I personally struggle through math all my life. I was so scared going into this class but I am so happy that I did. Professor Hamed knows her material, and she knows it very well. She's so compassionate about what she does and will help you succeed. I recommend taking her for all your calc courses. Her class fills up fast! Work hard though.

Professor Hamed is the by far one of the best calc professors ever. She makes everything really simple yet not boring and slow. She makes you understand exactly whats going on without exception. you will leave every class really understanding what you need to do and looking forward to the homework.

Professor Hamed is wonderful. Her lectures are great and she is always willing to explain something over again if you don't understand it. She'll also go over homework problems if you know how to do them, either during class or over email. She's very understanding and cooperative! She does have a slight accent but it didn't really bother me.

The homework, quizzes, and midterm/final are all designed by the same people. This is not true for many other math professors and trust me, it's a problem when it isn't. I found this professor very helpful and reasonable. The material wasn't easy but the grading was very fair. I wish this professor taught more calculus classes.

I took online calculus with her and would take calc 2 and 3 with her if she taught it. To bad she doesn't. It's calculus so it won't be an easy course if taking it online you are teaching yourself so just be prepared to carry the work

One thing that I didn't like in her class is that she goes too fast, I know that there's a lot material to cover but it's too fast. Other than that, she's very nice and a good professor.

She is the best professor I've taken. Mrs. Hamed very helpful person, I took online class with her and I worried because its online and in the summer. She encouraged me to stay and do the best, and if I need any questions I can call her and make an appointment with her. She helped me a lot and I got 97.9 and in the summer.

Attendance is very important (highly encouraged), 2 exams, online hw, and 10 chapter quizzes. Professor Hamed is an amazing teacher. She is also very nice and made the material easy to understand, and was always helpful. I was always looking forward to coming in for every lecture. If you stay on top of everything, high chance of earning an A

I thought I wouldnt do good in this class but she made it very easy to understand, always there to help. Just don't blow off the homework and come to class. It's totally worth it. I took precalc with a horrible teacher and got a C. Took her for calc and got an A. She's very helpful. Always will answer your questions. There is lots of hw but its not busy work. expect 2 exams (midterm & final), and a couple quizzes. just study for the exams/quizzes, do ALL of the hw and the reviews. you will get an A as well!

bro all I can say she is AMAZINGGGG and a math genius !!! Made Calc 1 & 2 so easy to understand ! this teacher will not waste your time, she only teaches you things you actually need to know and will use in the real world.

TAKE HER CLASS! The BEST math professor at Oakton. Took her for MAT 149 and MAT 250, both online. She has 2 exams (midterm and final), 3-4 quizzes, lowest gets dropped and assignments due about every other day. She knows her stuff and is more than happy to help you. She wants you to succeed in her class. Responds quickly to emails.

If you want the good grade at the end of the year you need to get not only the homework done but actually show up. I had a 96% in the class, barely showed up for the last two months, and it dropped me to an 89% ( I missed in class assignments and points). She's a very easy going teacher but won't repeat too much). I'd take her again though, forsure

I did really bad on my placement test coming to Oakton so I was behind the math level and had to take this class. She is a super great teacher and will help you so much. She really wants you to do your best and will always encourage you. I had her class early in the morning and I didnt mind showing up because I knew she cared about helping me! !

Took pre-calc and calc I (online) with prof Hamed. She's very helpful outside of class, but I wish I knew about the whole host of online tutors that oakton had available at the time. Can get an easy A if you use your notecard and do the pre-test hw. Just be sure to actually learn the concepts if you plan on taking calc II and beyond.

Her lecturers are SOOOO useful. She even works out the hw probs in class with u so everything is clear and easy 2 understand. Her lectures are easy to follow and homework assignments are p easy bcuz of that. During every ch quiz the assgns in that ch are open again for u to work on so make use of that to increase ur score. Also super understanding!

You don't have to actually try to get a good grade. Make sure everything's on your formula card and you're good. Take someone else if you have to take more math, tho. I don't remember anything from her class.

I took professor Hamed for statistics and I enjoyed it! I am not good at math, and this was hard material to learn, but she has a way of explaining in a way you will understand. If you go to class, keep up with homework, and pay attention- you will do good. The tests were a bit hard at times but she does give good study guides. Great professor!

Professor Hamed was great. I took her online class. She is very nice, and very accessible outside of class. She is always there to help students when struggling. Class was overall easy, it was on MyMathLab. There is a decent amount of hw assigned, so do not wait till the last minute to complete them. Complete them early. Would recommend!

I struggled with math in high school, but she ensured all her students needed extended time and accommodations. I liked her attitude towards her lectures but not a class to sleep off to.

Ended w/ a 98%. I haven't taken a math class since high school so I was nervous BUT the course is easy to even get an A if you pay attention, do your homework, and actually try! Midterm and final exam were a piece of cake bc the reviews are EXACTLY the same type of questions! Prof was so nice and accommodating. 10/10 take this class and prof!

Professor Hamed is very nice and understanding and actually cares about her students; however, there might just be a faster/easier way to do a math problem, but the professor normally just takes another longer approach to get to the same answer. No partial credit on tests, as all of it is done online on MyMathLab.

Great teacher! Shes accesible outside of class, answers questions quickly, and understanding. Course isn't TOO difficult, mainly 2 large topics and everything is based around that. Study, ask questions, do HW, practice, and youll do fine.

Took Pre-calc over summer, so there was lots of homework, but it's very manageable. Late homework is accepted for full credit, 3-4 quizzes that you can take more than once, lowest one is dropped. A midterm and final that are very doable if you do the review. Everything from there will be on the midterms and final. Great Professor!

Professor Hamed is very understanding and helpful. The class is manageable with diligent studying and practice. Unstuck ai made a great supplement to the course materials and helped me prepare for quizzes and exams.

Wasn't afraid to ask her “stupid” questions during lectures. She's incredibly welcoming and caring about her students, and did everything she could to be as transparent about the guidelines to be successful in her course. I felt very prepared for my midterm and final exam. She drops 1 quiz which is nice. Quizzes were multiple attempts allowed.

I've had the pleasure of taking 3 classes with her Math 049 Math 250 and Math 031. Each time I was so glad I chose her as my professor. Her teaching style is clear, engaging, and effective. She breaks things down in a way that makes even the most challenging topics feel manageable. There is no word to explain how amazing she is.

The homework is very easy and there is not much of it. I would say the midterm and final where pretty tough but if you study for them its fine. I would maybe spend like an hour or two studying for this class every week, for a math class that is literally nothing.
