The worst at math will have a great chance to pass the compass test after taking this class... he is recommended by the Math Dept and is very clear. He teaches you very simple techniques. Do not take this class in summer (4 weeks) if you want to feel comfortable and prepared. He goes the extra mile to help and will stay after class to help.

HE IS A GREAT PROFESSOR!!!! RECOMENDED!!! A MUST TAKE THE CLASS. He takes you from step one to then with no problem at all if you don't understant something he will teach it until you get it. It does not matter that every one knows the subject, you important to him. He cares for the students, and he relates to your needs.

He is a really great educator. He took a subject that was complety daunting to me and made it easy as pie. keep in mind this had been my 3rd time taking the class and this was the only time i understood anything.

This was one of the best classes I have ever been in, as he says he fails nobody, we only fail ourselfs. He takes the time to make math understood, I have found a new love for numbers and understood for the first time. I reccommend all incoming stundents to get into this class as it was very helpful to me.

If you want to pass the Compass test then take him. I promise you it'll be the best decision you've ever made about a Professor. I just barely made it through Math all my life, but Said taught me more Math then I ever thought I could learn. I was scared I wouldn't pass, but his ways of teaching are amazing and if you TRY you WILL learn from him. <3

I wouldve NEVER passed if it wasnt for him! Said is willing to take the time to help you in any area and answer and question. He's very casual but does not put up with nonsense but if you respect him all will be well. IF YOU WANNA PASS THE COMPAS TEST you need to take him. Attendance is not really required but its for your own benefit.

If you don't learn in this class then you have a problem. This professor is helpful and patient and crystal. He does not tolerate time wasters. He will help you and encourage you if math has always been difficult for you Said will make you look at Math in a whole new light.

This is a great Math Professor. Probably the BEST at BMCC. If you don't pass with him you never will. He is very helpful doesn't make you buy the text books gives you his own math homework with he writes up and distributes.Also goes over the work as many tines as you need him to till you get it.Any one taking any of his classes is very lucky not.

prof. Said is a wonderful math teacher who KNOWS what he is doing. so many remedial teachers in BMCC have no clue what they are doing. If you wanna pass your math class, take him. You wont be disappointed. But however, if you do not put in the effort or make it too class it will be an issue for you.

BMCC's math dept. is fortunate to have Said. This professor is patient and professional. If you never pass any of his courses it means you cannot be helped. He makes the material crystal clear. This is one of THE BEST PROFESSORS AT BMCC. I wish they would give him more classes.

Great! Takes its time explaining to make sure every student grasps the material and understands it. Easiest way to get an A in his class is to do his home work assignments, participate, and ask if you need help. Only two exams, a midterm and a final. Totally recommended.

Saïd is an amazing professor. He knows his subject and more important, he loves it ! He is a brave man, he learned math on his own and keeps studying it when he finishes teaching. I got A- as final grade but since I pay out of my pocket and put lots of efforts into the subject he decided to curve it to an A. He is very intelligent and open-minded!

Professor took the time out to spend a 5 minutes with me whenever I needed to brush up on a concept and would never make me feel embarrassed for asking questions. He supported my learning capabilities and tailored his teaching at my request. A true emblem in the academician world. And not to mention SUPER humble!

Said is the best out there! He looks out for his students and does his best at teaching new material. Show that you are participating and care about your grade and he will help you along the way. By far one of the best people I have met during my studies at BMCC.

Said is a great professor. Lessons are handout-based and he goes over everything you need to know. Homework and Tests are SO easy guys; they're all based on the handouts so don't throw them away!! He grades extremely fair and lets you bring a cheat sheet for exams.

I am the absolute SUCK at math, but with Professor Daryani, I not only passed but I made it through with a pretty great grade. Keep those handouts, they are key. He will give you a complete life story with your math lesson, but they're always interesting. Excellent at explanations. Said restored my faith in math, to be honest.

Take him! His instructions are very clear and thorough. He's also hilarious makes the class enjoyable to sit in. He will not waste your time.

Wow! There are no words to express how grateful I am to Said and his lectures. This man has changed my outlook on Math as a whole. I HATED Math! Professor Said, Is an Amazing professor. I truly recommend him. He wont jump ahead unless you understand the material. He is truly fair. Do the homework the midterm and finals are based from the homework. He is funny and laid back. his teaching methods are easy to understand- Although Calculus is tough for me- he is pretty clear on the material.

He understands that students have both strengths and weaknesses and he will never be the person to put you down for a weakness in math. Passionate teacher who genuinely cares about his students. One of the best math teachers I have ever had. Goes above and beyond what most teachers will do to make sure you get the material. Show up to class and show you are curious and he will help you - don't do the opposite. Can come off as a bit gruff sometimes - ignore that.

He's a great teacher and blunt. One thing I strongly disliked was his grading method, it was inconsistent. On one persons test they would get different points on another even if the answer was comepleteky the same... that's the ONLY problem

Professor Daryani clarified many topics I was previously not good at. He truly cares for his students and wants everyone to pass. His lectures are very clear and he tells you exactly what he expects from you. When he says to STUDY HOMEWORK, he means STUDY. Prof. Daryani also gave life lessons that I will always remember.

This was my third time taking remedial and let me tell you. If you see this professor when your picking your classes, don't hesitate and take the class. The way he lectors is incomparable to others. if you have any issues with math take this professor. He is so good. He teaches by DOING instead of just lecturing. I had to drop a previous class were the professor made us write down definitions and basically just read off the book. Ive been struggling with math and he was like a breath of fresh air

Absolutely the best professor if you have trouble with math. He goes over the material over and over until you get it and he makes it so fun to learn about math. He does not care if you come to class because he makes it clear that those are the students who will not pass! If you need to take math, pick him, you will not regret it.

Great teacher!! I see why they call him the G.O.A.T.! I had a great experience with him in my pre-cal class this summer. He sets your mind right regarding the type of work you should put in, and the reasons why it will benefit you for the rest of your college career and into the workforce.

Said is a one in a billion human being. He presents you the material and explains how it's done. He will always answer any questions you have. Pr. Said is a master in mathematics. I'm taking his class this semester, he really cares about all students who want to learn math. His technique is very clear and sample for solving problems. Feel free to ask him any question. Said makes math very easy and you will understand well. He is a great person. These words aren't enough to describe him.

I took prof. Said over the summer and what an amazing math professor. Not only will he teach you math, but will also teach you some life lessons. I wasn't very good in math but with practice I got in an A in his class. Homework is optional, ask him questions and he will gladly go over it. If no one has quest. or if you didn't do it he won't bother.

I was a guest student from Arizona State and I could clearly see the difference in quality! Mr. Daryani is AMAZING, math has always been my weakest subject (I failed Pre-Calculus 4 times) but Professor Daryani made it so simple for me to understand. He's inspirational and so humble! I was so lucky that i studied with him 206. i learned very well because he explains the materials clear and easy. some students dont like math but i recommend him for you all. he make me solid in math and I GOT (A) IN MAT 201, 301 AND 302.
