She's a horrible professor, not helpful at all and worst professor I've ever had

DO NOT take her. She legitimately does not speak English and is the most difficult grader I've ever seen. Her syllabus is extremely unfair (make up tests are 15x harder than the original test, so you're screwed god forbid you're sick and miss a test). Does not stop speaking for a minute, in whatever language she speaks, that is.

she goes by the book. If you understand Chem you will be alright if not you will not do well. God forbid you ask to go to the bathroom you will be cursed by her.

TERRIBLE professor. You can barely understand what she is saying half the time, and if that's not bad enough, she speeds through all of the important info and spends 20 min talking about a diagram. Doesn't care about her students at all, and rolls her eyes when asked a question during lab. AVOID taking this professor! I learned nothing from her.

she is not fair and a hard grader. she is confusing and not clear will take it out on your grade. sometimes she doesn't even know what she is saying. very repetitive. teaches you more about life lessons than chemistry. she will always go over the course time. she is always right, her way or the high-way. you need to teach yourself. stay away!

WORST PROFESSOR AT MOLLOY!!!!! stay as far away as you can from this teacher, when you ask questions she rolls her eyes and expects you to know every answer. If you have no chemistry background, it will be impossible to pass her class. NEVER TAKE WITH HER!

God bless you if you get stuck with her. The people who have given her high ratings are the ones who teach themselves well and get good grades in her class. She does not regurgitate the lessons well. At all. It's not that she doesn't know the material. She just can't communicate it well. Maybe it's the thick accent. Horrible. Teach yourself.

She is a horrible teacher who does teach her students and rushes through her lessons. Do not take her. I am getting a good grade only because I have tutor for this class.

Get ready to write 40 page papers. She goes off on irrelevant tangents and wastes the entire class. When you answer her question, she'll yell and say you're wrong, and correct you with the same exact answer you had just stated.

I believe the only reason I passed this class is because I took organic chemistry at a community college the year before I took that class. Her accent is very hard to understand and while she does know what she's talking about, she doesn't teach it well at all. Very sweet person but I would avoid her class at all costs.

The WORST professor I ever had at Molloy College. She does not teach but instead asks questions she doesn't know the answer to. She can't even finish a sentence before starting a new one and rambles senselessly for hours. She only has here job because of tenure because it is known by all students and many faculty that she is unable to do her job.

By far the worst professor I have ever had at Molloy. She not only is a tough grader (you probably won't be getting above a 90 on anything thats worth more than 10% of your overall grade) but constantly insults her students. She is hated by ALL of her students. Good luck to all the Biology majors that sadly are forced to take this "doctor".

Worst teacher ever. Dont bother asking for extra credit, there is none. Keeps you until the very last minute of class just to ramble on through the last 20 slides within 5 mins just to say she completed it. Tough grader. If youre not great in chem, dont even think about taking her.

OK, she spent the first day (lecture 3 hours, lab 2 hours) talking strictly about the syllabus and because of this we were technically behind throughout the first few chapters. will keep you to the last second to get 20 slides done in 2 min. tells you memorize this but doesn't explain it. answers questions with questions. just bad BAD BAD BAD

No extra credit, so if tests dont make sense youre stuck failing. This woman made me feel insecure and helpless. I reconsidered my career path because of her. She is degrading, says she feels bad for those who dont pass, but wont offer help just her condolences. Because of her I am stuck retaking this class in the summer and spending thousands.

Avoid at all costs.

Dr Borghjid was very lecture focused. We would finish a chapter a class usually. Number one tip is to use the textbook and review questions. We did not have review classes so studying on your own was essential. She was a tough grader with labs as they needed to be very specific.

The absolute WORST professor I have ever had! Her lectures are painful. Way too long, with no breaks. Most of the class and faculty have agreed on her incompetence as a teacher. She knows what she's talking about but cannot explain it in her life. More than half the class dropped or retook this course because she is so bad. Avoid at ALL costs.

She goes into overtime when her class ends when a lot of other students have classes that start right after that starts immediately. Along with that, her work is very hard and if most of the class gets something not to her liking she would 'explode' and lecture us heavily on why we shouldn't have done the work a certain way.

STAY AWAY! Dr. Borghjid is funny but her lectures feel like they take 10 years. She is big on studying and makes the tests almost impossible to pass without studying. HW every class. The only thing good is she doesnt fail anyone in lab and she gives 3 open note at home quizzes. She only has 3 tests so if u fail two then you wont pass the class.

Had her for A&P 2 and was by far the worst class I've ever taken. Her tests are nearly impossible to pass, no review sheets or review sessions. On top of that, she grants no other grading opportunities, no homework or extra credit was given to boost our grades. She doesn't care if everyone fails a test, no curve will be given. STAY AWAY!!!

final grades based on 3 exams, final, and labs. No assignments to improve average.Tests are extremely broad, doesn't narrow the chapters down. Extremely difficult to pass class unless you read every word of every chapter in the textbook. Lectures are the worst talks more about how we should be paying attention rather than actually teaching material

Don't take by any means. Class average for exams was below 50 with open notes for 3 exams.The whole class would ask her for help or extra work she told us to use textbook, tutors, and youtube since she is only there to answer questions. Speeds through slides and gives no help at all. Stressed all semester about this class would never recommend her.

RUN DO NOT TAKE! Had her for a&p 2 and could not understand her and when I asked her to repeat what she said again she looked at me and said next question. After the test grades came back and everyone didn't do well she blamed us and lecture us for 1 hour about how if we were her kids she would kick us out. Not our fault EVERYONE did bad. No heart

If you are a freshman reading this just switch your teacher right now and don't wait. This professor talks over her students when they ask for help and if you email she just says to review textbook and get a tutor. Trust me if you don't get something right away you will fall behind. She makes rude comments and makes you feel bad about yourself.

Lectures are often 3 hours long with no breaks. Be prepared to write notes, and attendance is necessary. If possible, DROP HER CLASS or DO NOT take her for your mental health!

I cant believe that a 2 credit course was so challengin. i took anatomy 2 and orgo together and i managed to do better than this class. is the fact that the class was online and everyone was failing for nutriton and people reported her and no one did nothing. DO NOT TAKE HER!

I'd like to congratulate this professor on being by far the worst professor I have ever had through two bachelors degrees worth of college. She completely and blatantly ignores students requests, does not give any help when it is needed, and chooses the hardest possible questions for every exam. Do not take this professor under ANY circumstances.

This professor is the worst. Average for the midterm was a 72 and for the final was a 65 in a NUTRITION class. Refuse to provide exam guides and said everything is on the textbook. Did not teach anything and put in no work/help for her students except making the exam 50x harder than the assigments.The support team on cengage is more useful than her

Took her for nutrition, weekly assignments were easy. Midterm and final were so hard and it didn't help that there was no study guide provided. Basically expected the class to memorize 14 chapters! Exams were so tedious idk how you expect students to remember everything. Average grades were terrible. I would NOT recommend.

This is the WORST professor I have ever had. She is inconsiderate and does not care about her students' grades.The class average on the final exam was 65, and no extra credit was provided. This 2-credit nutrition class was my hardest class at Molloy.She does not answer emails about questions regarding the test and refuses to provide a review guide.

One nutrition class, hundreds of futile emails, weekly assignments that barely even nudged your grade, and two unthinkable exams worth more than all the hws together. A low-credit class but easily one of the worst experiences I've ever had because of this professor. She's not willing to help and leaves you to your own devices to figure things out.

She makes fun of students who don't do well and will often put them on the spot to make an example, when asked for extra help you get ignored.

I hated her, inorganic bio chem is terribly hard and her accent, lack of care for her students, boring lectures and not posting grades until the end of the semester made it worse. Made the tests and material way harder than it needed to be, never take this woman she should be fired

This teacher is a bully to her students. Asking for help results in anger or little to no help at all. Open-note quizzes are not open notes, and they are not at all because the notes we get are not on the quiz. She takes pride in failing students and will often laugh at mistakes. Her lectures are near useless, and she will not allow you to catch up

Do not take this teacher and I about to say why. First, there is a heavy accent. She speaks very fast make it hard to understand, along with her screaming believing that we will understand it more. Another is her tests, very hard and no review. The tests count many to your grade, mess up you're cooked. Finally, her demeanor, not friendly at all.

beyond horrible the entire semester. my fav part was when she arrived 10 mins late to class on our FINAL exam (tho she says it was only 5 lol) wasn't prepared so that took another 7 mins. we lost almost 20 mins of our exam time with 100 question final. talks/yells during exams, super distracting. flames u if u have questions. Molloy, do better.

The final was a complete joke, an exorbitant amount of questions. Have a question? She will offer not even the slightest help. She had to drop 2 lowest quiz grades and make the final "open note" because of the failure she has been as a teacher. Students left in no mans land, with half withdrawing + a quarter will fail. What a disappointing class!

This teacher has made this class a complete clown show. Grades nothing, doesn't teach, poor PowerPoints, no review sheets, just expects you to memorize a textbook to learn. By far the worst teacher I've had at molloy. I'm not sure how she has a job because she is not a teacher. She failed the students as a professor and her attitude and sarcasm is not appreciated. This teacher is bi polar, one second she is hysterically laughing and then next she is telling the class how we are lazy, wasting our money and mocking us.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!! She is by far the worst professor I've had in my life. I don't know how Molloy thinks it is expectable to have her “teach”. We pay a crazy amount of money to be at this school. Just to be failed by her. If you have any questions she literally just says read the text book. She takes weeks to grade.

Please listen to the bad reviews! We are not lying! She should be fired immediately. The school needs to do their research on her and compare the grades of all her students. Everyone fails this class. Be ready to hold your breath the entire semester because you have no idea where you stand until final grades are out.

She does not teach and uses another professors lab videos. She does not post any lectures and barely post power points. You have to read the entire textbook to pass this class. She is such a lazy professor and finds joy out of failing her students. She takes forever to grade and will be left in the dark all semester with where you stand in class

Grades were hidden all semester. Not that it matters because she takes weeks to grade anything but you will feel so lost all semester, stressing to know if you are passing or not. This professor needs to be brought up to higher ups and needs to be fired. Her students grades will prove all that they need.

I cannot express the disconnect I am in right now. It's has been a FULL WEEK since the final and nothing is graded or lions den. There's still quizzes and assignments not graded in canvas and ITS A WEEK PAST FINALS.Not to mention she's a rude teacher, wants you to fail, everyone is lost, etc. The whole class reported her to the head deans. This is by far the poorest professor at Molloy, do not take her period. Idk how we pay this tuition and receive this abysmal professor. Do not take this professor. She is highly unlikeable and a rude person. Majority of the class either failed or dropped out. What a joke, she should be fired. She does not fit Molloy's core values or professionalism. Nightmare of a professor, no student should have to pay this tuition and receive her. Hopefully she gets fired.

A petition went around, trying to get her fired.. That alone should say everything you need to know about her as a professor.

Lectures are so boring and She just yaps about the same things over and over again and then eventually starts talking about some random things unrelated to the course. No slides which I almost would rather so i can study that. No homeworks really just quiz/exam grades so if you don't do good on one test you're cooked. I'd find other professors

This professor is a terrible person. She does not teach; instead, she assigns textbook readings and closes all the assignments, so you can't go back and review. She does not put forth any effort to teach her students, and I'm not the only person who has seen this. I have spoken to many people in this class, and they say the same thing.

this professor horrible she failed me for AP2 by 2 points. had to pay 5K to retake. please don't take her. if u do just read literally everything and don't miss anything she says in lecture.

NO JOKE, SHE MIGHT BE THE WORST PROFESSOR AT MOLLOY! There are only two tests (midterm/final), but they're excessively secured. She requires an external camera set-up to show your hands, face, and computer screen during the exam. It's a 2-credit course btw, and she's the only nutrition professor with these ridiculous rules. Avoid her at all costs!
