She is a good teacher. To get an A you must read the book, copy her lecture slides on power point, and do her little poster project if you do that you are guaranteed to get an A. she is very easy going but her tests are not common sense she does make them hard.

Brody is a good teacher. She knows her stuff and tries very hard to make sure you understand. As long as you take notes and go over the quizzes online, you should do very well. I do recommend her!

She was a great professor. She showed so much interest in the subject and explained concepts so well, that she made me want to major in psychology myself.

She's an amazing teacher! She is very energetic and is very clear in her lectures. If you study the quizzes she provies on WebCT, you can easily make an A in her class. She reviews you over what you learned the day before--pay attention! That is what's on the tests! Haha, and she checks THESE ratings too!

I took this class online and it was wonderful! Not too difficult but it does require your time and effort. I really liked that their was a variety of assignments, it made the class more interesting! Also, she always responds quickly to your questions - SO important with online classes!!

i believe dr. brody is suppose to be smarter than the rest of us - that is why she has a PHD and is teaching. her class was the best. now that i have moved to ut dallas, i realized she is not nearly as hard as professors here. i would highly recommend her class to anyone who is serious about wanting to learn psychology. do not expect an easy A.

I took her internet course. It is composed of 2 tests, 15 or so quizes, 5 short writting assignments, and a final project. I found this course to be challenging, but not difficult. I never needed to correspond with the professor. I simply did my work, and she graded it. I think that she grades fairly. If disciplined, then you will succeed.

I took the express course online. The key to doing well is to stay disciplined about reading. Professor Brody was fair with her tests and quizzes. She responded quickly to all questions.

She is a great professor and super nice. I had her for summer II and it was really easy as long as you pay attention in class and read over the sections in the book. The questions on the test are detailed so you have to be familiar with the key terms but other than that she made it really interesting and she is pretty funny too!

I took her class online. Not too hard if you read and do the PyscSim exercises. Each week there is an online quiz and discussion prompt to post, but she only requires that you complete 5 of the discussions. I recommend her if you are considering taking this online.

This class was very intresting. I took it in the summer so things went very fast. There was a test every week and a few projects.

Great teacher! Her class is fun/engaging. no quizes/homework; tests aren't bad if you: read the chapters, memorize key terms, study the notes from class, and some of the questions come straight from the online quizes/psych sims. Also, there is a big project/presentation that takes a lot of time.. not difficult though. Good teach. +she's hot so...

I took her online course, and it was fantastic. Even though i never met her, i could tell she is very nice and friendly. She is very helpful and answers your emails thouroughly and very quickly. The course work is not hard at all.just make sure you keep up with the work.I would definitly take her again and also recommend her.

Very interesting and enthusiastic about her class and the subject. I failed all my tests except my final exam, but just because I didn't read alot of the chapters. Attendence is not mandatory but it will help tremendously to show up as often as possible. Got a C in the class but its for sure an easy A!! take her she is AWESOME!

Great teacher. the group project seemed like a lot of work at first but once we collected data it wasnt too bad. Clear and understandable slides. She is super funny and absolutly precious. i learned a ton in this class. Shes kinda tough but totally worth it.

I chose Prof. Brody for my psych online class based on the reviews here, and the class was awesome! She was super helpful, nice, quick to respond to emails, and a fair grader. If you put the effort into studying and writing the required discussions/final project, you'll get an A. The online class was a breeze!

general psych-hard class, lots of work & information to retain. project was difficult bc my group members were lazy but she wasnt exactly sympathetic towards the hard workers. she didnt seem to like me much. tests were pretty difficult. but 2 yrs later i remember a lot of very useful information, relavant to life.

Dr Brody is an amazing professor. I had her for Maymester and she made four hours go by extremely fast. She is animated and interesting and keeps you wanting to know more.

I took her for summer and managed to squeeze by with an A. I liked her, she was nice and I didn't put all that much effort into studying and was able to do fine on all the tests. She was a lot easier then my last Psyc teacher. Overall, whether you care about the subject or not, she is a great teacher that's not to difficult and is nice.

love her. I took her maymester, but couldn't finish. Too fast paced for me. But took her again online. Extremely easy. A quiz per week due on Sundays @ midnight, only 15 Q's. Not difficult if you read the chapter. Final project and 2 tests. Recommend her online class! Not a blow off, but an easy A if you put in the effort.

I came into the class with a high interest in Psyc but that doesn't mean anything. This prof actually made the class more interesting for me. Such enthusiasm for the subject matter and I felt like I learned quite a lot. Other Psyc profs don't compare to her, even with my high interest in psyc. Had another pysc prof who was droll, lost my interest.

I took her online classa it was great.Very easy and shes a fair grader. Final grade is comprised of 2 tests (40%),5 discussion questions (20%),13 quizzes (20%), and a research paper (20%). Its a self paced course and I got it all done within the first month.MUST TAKE!

Her class was very fun! She made the subject interesting, and ellaborated on each topic throughly before moving on. Her project was a bit time consuming, but during it, you absorb a lot of information.

im sure shes a great teacher in terms of physically taking her class,but wouldnt recomment the summer class. She expects you spend 3 hours everyday reading chapters, doesnt supply a study guide, wants you to take your own notes.She does give a powerpoint for each chapter, but its very vague.But im 100% sure that i would of loved her on campus class

Very fun class, you learn so much! Best part is its not hard. You just need to do the work. Its an extremely fair class and anyone that tries can pass. The teacher is great! Loved taking her class and got an A.

Online class. Weekly quiz and 2 exams...VERY difficult! You have 90 minutes to complete a 100 question mc exam...and the questions are difficult. No reviews. No extra credit. I study, I'm smart, and I'm struggling to make an A. If she would offer an exam review and a couple of extra credit/bonus opportunities, I would recommend her.

She is really funny and extremely nice, you can tell she is passionate about her job. I took her general psychology class a couple years ago and it was awesome, too! Best psychology teacher at Collin, by far.

Extremely lovely woman. The lesson plan was always set up the same way, so you never received a random curve ball. As long as you put forth minimal effort you could easily pass the class. The quiz were short, so you wouldn't have to spend long periods of time on them. My only bone to pick was that the given time for the final was a tad low.

Very strict when it comes to in class behavior and participation. She has these online tutorials that are very boring but you HAVE to do it if you want a good grade on the tests because a lot of questions from there are on the tests. Class was interesting and she made it fun she just expects a lot from you compared to other Collin professors.

Her online class is very easy! The weekly quizzes are not timed and open book. Just a few discussions are needed for the class and only 2 tests all semester. The tests are tough with a time limit but they are open book. She gives feedback on your discussion you have to write and keeps you up to date with grades and upcoming assignments!

She was a pretty good professor. She always welcomed food and it's pretty easy to make an A in her class if you do all the work and study. Her tests are pretty easy if you come to the review session the class before because all the questions she goes over are on the exam. She has a huge project at the end, but it's not that bad. Took Dr. Brody for Online Psychology. Very good class, you read a chapter a week, take a quiz, and you must participate in 5 discussions on blackboard. Two exams all semester and one final projects. I am anticipating getting an A. Interesting material, tests are timed and 100 questions, you have to prepare for the exams.

I loved Dr. Brody's class. She is very enthusiastic about Psychology. She provides extra credit and she is def. interested in assisting her students. There is a lot of reading. However, if you read or follow her power points you should be able to pass her class.

Dr. Brody's syllabus is designed to make you understand and absorb what you learn. There are no short cuts. Took Her fast paced summer session. If you're not serious, you will fall behind easily. She's very attentive to emails and she cares about your success. I would have loved to take her class in person. Excellent professor overall.

Mrs. Brody made taking the online psych class a breeze. Of course you have to read a lot in preparation for the tests and quizzes, but trust me, that is not a problem. There are group discussions of course ( she is not a tough grader and gives good feedback). There is only 1 major paper. Responds promptly. Will take her again.

Dr. Brody is one of the best professors you could ever have! Her lectures are incredibly informative, interesting, and we always had lively discussions. We had weekly individual quizzes along with a group quiz every Friday. In the middle of the semester we have a project over Radiolab podcasts which was a fun project.

You have to read the textbook in this class. Every week there is an assignment due about the chapter. But, her lectures are amazing to listen too. She's funny and insightful. She does one huge project that is worth 50% of the final grade. Would love to take her class again.

Honestly, I loved this professor. Clear grading criteria. A few times something came up in my personal life, and this being an online class obviously everything has a due date since like the 1st day. She totally helped me out with an extension on a very big project. Super appreciate understanding professors!

The content is interesting and Body successfully creates a very fun classroom environment. However, you should prepare for required readings, long essays and difficult tests. The books that she assigns are very interesting and easy to read just time consuming.
