She is one f the best professors I've had. In addition to being highly knowledgable of the subject matter, she has a keen awareness of current political issues. And she is just one of the sweetest people in the world! Listen, take notes, study= A or B.

I agree, her class is not easy. In fact, it's hard. You really have to read and study, but she helps out in an a most helpful way when test time comes around. She dislikes students that complain..so don't complain in class...she will be mean and disrespect you in front of the class.

Dr. Vargis, is a great teacher. She actually made me want to read the book, which is rare! But you must do the work and read the material! So don't expect a free ride in Dr Vargis's class.

This class can bepretty tough, if you don't do the work. She is very well organized and gives you every opportunity to make and A. I took her online course and I received a C. I got the pleasure of meeting her in person, and wish I could have taken her face-to-face instead. Thanks for helping me.

I hate history but I loved Mrs. Vargis, she is very sweet and passionate about the subject. She is very thorough. Very flexible on her grading. But you do get a quix every week online, I failed everyone of them, but still got a B, because I did good on every test. You just have to weigh the good with the bad. Oh yeah just dont take it at 8 a.m.

Dr. Vargis is very hard because she seems to be particular that we know everything. But her quizzes are easy if we do what she wants us to to do, study hard.

Gives a clear idea at the beginning of the semester about what is required. Just follow her calendar and sylabbus then read and learn everything in the textbook and you will do very well. I am doing very well already.

All you have to do is read the textbook and write one essay. Her grading is quite strict, however she will drop the worst quiz grade. As long as you read the textbook and won't fall behind, you're fine. She is a very nice lady, but you'll have to work.

Mrs. Vargis is a sweet lady. She knows a lot about history and she is very smart. You have to be a history buff for this class. I am not! If you like history I recommend this class but if you struggle somewhat then this is not for you.

Great teacher. Has a good idea of World History. I am so glad that I was in her class. I learned sooo much in her class. If you are interested in learning, you must take her. You must study to earn your grade in her class.

Great teacher. I am fascinated that some of the students who find fault with her and post comments cannot even spell certain words correctly. I took two of her classes and she was very knowledgeable and interesting.

Dr. Vargis online class is a very neat class. Easy to navigate and all the requirements for the course are given upfront at the beginning of the semester. I strongly advise you to take her course.

The class is hard, but you really have to read and take good notes so that you actually learn the material. She was very rude at first, but I reported her to the Distance Learning Director. She was very nice after she realized I wasn't taking any crap off her.

I found Dr. Vargis to be a very knowledgeable teacher, interested in subject and students. If you don't study (and figure out how to study for test) a B will be a struggle. Class notes are on quizes. The text book was not organized well. I think tests that used scantrons were made by the textbook company. Tricky stuff-not good. Wonderful Woman!

Very good teacher. Allows students to discuss in class. Very interactive class, very helpful and friendly. There is no way to do well in this class if you do not read the textbook. Gives multiple choice or essay option for tests.

Great professor, be sure to follow instructions carefully, and ask questions if unsure. Versatile testing formats help if you are a better with general idea or if better with all the details. Be flexible with an accent!

I took her U.S. History Honors Course. Her class is not an easy one. You have to study hard because the tests are full of trick questions. She has been a lot of fun though. She really does TEACH her students.

I took her World Lit 2 online class. Every 3 days you have to have read a chapter and taken a quiz on it. A LOT of reading. Discussions online, too. She expects you to have a thorough understanding of everything you read. Her tests aren't too bad, but quizzes are tricky. This class was pretty challenging to keep up with while working full time.

Mrs. Vargis is an excellent teacher. But do not take this class if you want an easy A, it is a somewhat hard class but so interesting. You only have 2 tests and a final so make sure to study.

Great teacher. Gives good extra credit opportunities. Study guides help with tests but be sure you know everything on the guides in detail. Come to class and take good notes and you will do fine. Also-- read BEFORE she lectures on chapters... she loves class participation.

Okay so the TRUTH is,Vargis' class is hard but sooo interesting. You will actually learn! There is a quiz after each chapter-She wants you to read and PARTICIPATE!!! Also never talk to your classmates in there she will get mad and move you! Otherwise,sweet lady-fun class. Dont look into this if you want a easy A. Two tests,One paper,quizes,final.

I took her Honors class and found her very knowledgeable and helpful. She loves class participation and allows us to discuss and speak our mind. I like her first five minutes of current events discussion. Take her if you want to learn good learning style and earn and A.

I think she is an amazing teacher who is very caring. I took her for one class and like her so much I decided to take her again the following semester. If you follow simple instructions and are not rude to her or in class you should do well. It is not a super easy class but an A or B is not too tough if you try.

Dr. Vargis' class was exremely hard. I always read and followed up on quizzes and tests but when the time came for a test I would receive a grade that I did not expect. Excellent and knowlegeable instructor. I had her for another class couple of semester back. Take notes and you will get a good grade. Mostly mutiple choice tests and I liked them.

Good professor, must read the textbook. Essay or multiple choice test, can take one or the other.

An average professor but not hard you just have to study like she say and take the 10 question quizzes, she drop your lowest quiz scores as well and does help you when you need it. I had 1 essay and about 3 assignments where we had to write 2 paragraphs about a specific topic. I came out with a C but i did miss 2 or 3 classes so.
