she is from UK,and has a nice clear accent.She is very nice as a person,but honestly she moves way too fast in the course.i mean we done 4 sections already in 4 classes.Personally i found her calss very boring, but it is not all because of her.The subject is really BORING,it is all about plants and animal cells and flowers..YUCKY.one word AVERAGE.

she's way too fast. i couldnt keep up with her notes at all and i dropped the course after 2 weeks. everyone talks in class b/c she rambles on about pointless things that are way outside the course. i recommend someone else.

she puts slides up all the time but you can still get the work done if you just read over the notes she puts on the internet... no biggie really. Just read and memorize like you would any other biology course.

i dont go to class often, however when i do i find her quite amusing. shes always in a good mood, willing to help anyone and everyone. i did this course last year as an AP in my high school and wasnt overall pleased with it, however this year im finding it fantastic!

She is great and I would recommend her to eveyone! Her notes are the best and she is there to help you throughout the course. She has a great sence of humor as well. The only bad thing that I can say is that she is not the best when it comes to computers. Her online notes are sometimes delayed because someone else post the notes for her.

She's a really nice person to talk to if you need any help outside of class. She posts her notes up on the web, but not the whole power point which sucks because there are good examples and pictures on the slides. She moves really fast through the material, so don't even try to take notes in class. Read the book and the notes and should do fine.

Dr. Goddard has an awesome English accent, so it is always fun to listen to her in class. However, she does tend to give you information outside of the course outline which is entertaining and interesting... but sometimes she starts to ramble. She is really nice, and her tests are fair, just make sure you study. Overall, she's a good proffessor!

Dr. Goddard is one pof the sweetes teachers i ever had, but the thing is.... her notes are bad and she just reads the notes from the projector... she needs to teach from her heart! She is a sweetheart and helps you if you0 need help.

She is very kinds and extrememly helpful in every way. She is very concerened for the students (i got sick for a bit and had to miss a test, she was very understanding and just wanted to make sure I was ok). Although, her classes can be quite boring because of her lecture techniqes. Excellent person, not the best prof.

Sally is a good sort, it's not her fault that this course is boring. She did her best to make lectures interesting, but all she really got to do was read the notes that were online anyways. She gives amazing tests that take like 20 minutes, but don't bother coming to class if you think you'd get more done studying on your own.

Sally is a great prof. She tries her best to make Biology 1001 interesting for the students, but it really is just a boring course. She is very helpful & is always there when you have any questions at all. Her tests are very fair & if you study her notes and memorize the diagrams you'll do well in this course.

A great prof; really helpful if you ever have questions. If you've done bio in high school, this course is pretty easy. All the notes are available online, so between those and reading the textbook, missing class isn't a big deal.

Best prof ever! It's really hard to make this material interesting, but you will be lucky if you get her for Biol 1001! She's so nice and SO fair. She gives marks for everything on tests/exams, even for the wrong spelling, etc. There aren't many nice profs like that in mun! She's easygoing and just tries to help the students! Sally goddard is AMAZING . I was supposed to have her for bio 1002 and was CRUSHED that i didn't get her. Her teaching skills OWNED the teacher i got this year. she makes bio interesting, and you can tell she herself finds the subject interesting. She's soooo nice, and, hey, i find her accent adorable

she's amaizing! my 2nd course with her. absolutly love her. she has the enthusiasm of a little kid about everything related to biology, it is kinda entertaining. i don't neccessarily find everything as exciting as she does, but no complains, my best bio proff by far. very long exams that requires alot of studying.the labs can be boring sometimes.

This professor is really good. She explains things well in class, post her notes online and after an exam give out all the correct answers after giving it back. The only problem I had is that she moves really really fast and it is hard to keep up when writing notes. Other then that a great prof.

She does have her notes online but its a very good idea to attend class anyways because she explains the material very well.

My favourite prof of the semester. I took this course as an 'elective' and she seriously sparked an intrest in the subject for me. Her slides in-class are a bit lacking, but she gives you the pages in-text to cover what she doesn't. Very fair marker, very nice, and the British accent somehow makes the whole course better :P

Though I did not do well in the course I place no blame on Sally as I enjoyed her teaching and know the fault is my own. Would recommend her to anyone!

She is the sweetest lady ever!! I would suggest her to anyone. Even in a class that was around 200 people it felt like she cared about every student and wanted us to do well. She always responded to emails quickly. Her tests were completely fair and easy to do well on if you studied the material. She had the best accent and I wish I had her again!

Dr Goddard is absolutely fantastic. She gives great examples and is always willing to go over something if students don't understand. She is very passionate about her course and this makes it much easier to get involved and enjoy the class. She's super easy to understand and gives off a very calming vibe.

Sally is great! She tells you exactly what to expect for each test and so far (out of 2 exams) she only had one multiple choice that I would consider "unfair". Besides that, her tests are very fair and she told us only the diagrams AFTER exam 2 will be on the final making it less studying for us. And shes VERY nice & helpful if you go to her office

Sally seems really passionate about Biology and seems to really enjoy reading it. If you're not a huge fan of biology, I'd strongly recommend taking her. Her lectures are pretty fast, so reviewing the slides and the book at home is a must. Her accent is also a huge bonus, who doesn't love a good British accent!

Sally is an excellent prof, she is very caring with regards to her students by sending regular emails to let students know her lectures have been posted online, study materials such as tutorials are available etc. Sally is very interactive in her lectures which makes them enjoyable to attend and easier to understand. I would definitely recommend.

I liked Sally! A very sweet lady who is good at teaching biology. At the beginning of the course she told us which sections of the text book to read, and I highly recommend doing this. She also told us what diagrams we should know before every test and this was also super helpful. She makes her tests very easy.

Great professor, makes the course very interesting. Theory exams are very long, but not too hard if you study enough. Information is mostly from slides. Most labs are long, and lab notebooks have to be pretty comprehensive, which is time-consuming. One of my favourite courses, lots of opportunity to do well, but you have to put work in.

I didn't go to class though Sally is a very pleasant and interesting lady. She's also a musician which is really cool! Do her review booklets and you'll do great

Sally is a well-respected prof in the biology department at memorial. She cares very much about her student's success in the course. Though attendance is not mandatory, she covers a lot in her lectures so it is easy to fall behind if you're not keeping up. Overall awesome prof and would take her again!

Nicest prof I've come across. Has long office hours and answers questions thoroughly. Her slideshows are great and contain all the information for the tests, plus she posts them online. Tests are very fair and she usually gives a bonus question for a chance at extra marks. Overall just a lovely woman and prof.

Sally obviously really enjoys her lectures (yay comic sans power points!) and cares about her students. I really recommend going to see her if you have any problems with this course as it is pretty loaded with material.

Gives good fair tests, posts all potential diagrams. She's really sweet and goes out of her way to make it as easy as possible for students to get good grades. Goes over tests in class and explains the answers. Textbook and online code aren't required, buy a secondhand book if you want one. Not a lot of in class stuff gets graded, but lots in labs

Dr. Goddard is hands down one of my favourite profs. Unlike a lot of other profs, she truly cares about her students and their success. She even makes an effort to learn everybody's name! You can tell that she loves what she teaches and wants to make it as fair as possible. BIOL3202 is an amazing course and I highly recommend taking it with her.

This past semester I had Sally for Biology 1001, which was online. Each week she would post the material with audio and you could do it at your own pace. Sally was a great prof, and her pre recorded lectures made it super easy to watch at your own pace. Our whole grade was from tests and labs but I found all the tests really straightforward, and everything on them is covered in the notes. Overall super sweet prof who is more than willing to help with material!

Sally was great. There was 5 exams, each 14% including the final and once a topic was tested, it was not tested again. She gives you the diagrams you'll need to study and lots of practice sheets. Notes are a little long and reading the textbook will help, but most assessments were m.c. and fill in the blanks. Would recommend.

Dr. Goddard is so nice and caring! Very accessible outside of class. Her notes are extremely detailed. Her notes and review sheets cover exactly what is going to be on the tests. The labs are probably the most challenging part of this course. Would 100% recommend her!

Very very easy course. Of course, there is a lot to memorize but exams are easier than lecture content. Only thing you have to do is 4 midterms which are like 13% each and the final 18% and then labs which are more time consuming. She is clear and straighforward with her lectures. With her notes,exam review and book quiz you get an easy A.
