VERY easy class! Just show up and do the study guides she gives you (which you print yourself). She keeps you entertained the whole time. A pleasure being in there, easy A!!! Textbook is not mandatory, so you dont have to waste your money.

Professor Hansen is a wonderful professor who is very open minded and encourages the class to give opinions on the topics being disscused! The tests are super easy and the final is even easier! She gives you everything you need to know in the handouts on her website and all you have to do is pass the tests, do 2 reaction reports, and do the project

Dr. Hansen is one of the best teachers that i have ever taken. She will help u if u need help and is really easy to talk to and she makes class fun and learning easy. I will definately take her again in the future if the opportunity presents itself

Dr. Hansen is one of the best teachers I ever had.I had no interest in government until I took this class. She is very organized and keeps the class interesting. She has a GREAT sense of humor.You actually learn in this class!The test are a lot of writing but she tells you exactly whats going to be on it. GREAT TEACHER, TAKE HER!!!!

The key to her class is to listen. Which isn't hard to do since she makes the class fun and easy to learn in. You don't use the book so you can throw that out of the picture, and she is VERY opened in conversation. Her tests are easy as well, she gives you a study guide and its basically the test. Dr. Hansen, is by far the best government professor ever at Daytona State College. You don't need the textbook for the class. All of her notes are posted online. You bring in articles, do two papers, and do some tests. And it is really simple. She is highly recommended to anyone that has to take POS2041, or any other class that she teaches.

Well organized, not too many assignments. Test hard, but do not count for too much of grade. Answers emails within hours. I also took American Federal Government with her. Best teacher.

Sally Hansen is an awesome teacher! She's very laid back and funny. She gets off topic sometimes when she teaches, but the class is easy. Know the terms for the test and pay attention to the lectures and you will do fine.

She is awesome. Tests are practically the study guide, she goes over everything. She is very helpful. Don't buy the text! She gives lecture notes online and that's all you need. Overall she is wonderful and very knowledgeable, she understands everyone's situation. Easy A if you give effort. Tardy all the time? That's fine in her class!

EASY, EASY, EASY! I took her class online and it is SUCH AN EASY A! Tests are hard- you definitely need the book, but that's virtually the only time I opened it. A couple easy writing assignments and easy, peazy discussion board questions. I would def. take her again and if you need the class- TAKE HER!

Took her class online. Activities and discussions are easy. The tests however are time consuming and difficult. You need the book for the test. It's 100 questions so plan to spend a while working on it. On the plus side, she gives unlimited time for tests and truthfully all semester to make up discussions. Good teacher, definitely recommended!

She is awesome!! I was not interested in taking this class at all until I listened to discussion. She is very funny and down to earth I enjoyed going to her class! The tests can be hard but if you pay attention and do the study guide you will do fine :)

I took Professor Hansen's International Relations class online. She is FANTASTIC! She is very clear, and helpful. She even met with me to speak with me about career options for my future.Shes super understanding AND shes YOUNG!Dont take her awesomeness for granted though, shes serious about what she teaches and expects you to do well!RECOMMEND!!

Keeps lessons current by moderating a before lesson discussion of current events and their relationships to course material. The class lectures are fun and interesting due to a wide range of classmate responses. Her exams are short answer and essay format, so beware, but her review sheet prepares you. Must take this teacher for this class!!!

I took this class online and I got an A. Professor Hansen was very involved with answering questions or commenting on the discussion board. She grades fairly. I do recommend reading the chapters thoroughly. I highly recommend her and this class online.

She's the most awesome professor ever. Easy class, easy tests (if you study for them), great review sheets, hilarious discussions. She makes class fun and actually makes it relatable.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the best teachers i have ever had!! As long as you pay attention in class you will get an A. She is great with going over the material you need to know and she has a great sense of humor in doing so. She is completely unbiased in her teaching and doesn't sway one way or the other. I would recommend her to anyone!!!

I took this class just for fun and have really enjoyed it, the teacher is very nice and the class overall is rather easy if you pay attention her tests are written but still easy even without studying. The only issue though is that the class is discussion so hope to have some interesting people in it otherwise it can get monotonous.

GREAT TEACHER! Very nice and VERY helpful. I highly recommend her. If you do the articles, the essay and atleast do OK on the tests, you WILL pass and probably with a good grade. VERY FUNNY TOO!

Ms. Hansen is an amazing teacher. I took her American Federal Gov't. class online and if you just do the work, you will get an A with no problem. She encourages independent thought and debate on the message boards, without letting things get out of control. Really a great teacher, I would highly recommend taking her class!

Nice professor. Took online class. She actually participates in online dicsussions. Simple class 5 tests which she encourages you to use the book with. 4 reaction response activities and a total of 75 discussion posts. Only thing I was not crazy about was the length of the tests, but I managed.

This class is fairly easy and the instructor is very helpful however the tests account for most of the grade and they are not easy at all.

Very convenient, what an online class should be. Tests and discussions have no due date, but cannot be done at the last minute. She only gave 2 assignments with due dates that were pretty easy. The tests are hard, but if you keep up with the rest of the assgignments, you should be ok. Replies to email quickly as well. I got a B, tests were hard.

Hansen is absolutely perfect. Her class was so fun and she has one heck of a personality. If you go to class and WRITE DOWN what she says on the review day and study it, you will have NO problem on the test. She'll help you with questions on test days as well. She has been my favorite teacher so far. I love her :)

I took the online class for American Government. She kept it fun, yet educational. She was always super-quick to respond to any questions. And as long as you do the reading, the tests aren't too bad. Highly recomended!

She was very helpful and a great communicator. She remained active in the discussions and frequently sent group emails to remind us of due dates, updates, etc.

One of the best teachers I have ever had, she is so nice and caring. you don't need a text book. The only downside is the tests are all write in like half a page per answer and there is a lot of information. But she goes over it in class and is will to stay late to help you. Over al excellent teacher I wish she taught more classes:)

Easiest class I've taken. You don't need the book. Tests are crazy easy. The class before the test she gives you a study guide that is identical to the test and she goes over the answers. Attendance isn't necessary as all the notes are online

Absolutely amazing! She's so hilarious and easy to follow. She has a 60 page notes document and she follows it to the T. Defiantly my favorite teacher I've had at DSC. I love going to class and she's so "politically incorrect" and down to Earth it's awesome. The study guides are practically the tests. Do the study guides, you'll get an A.

She gives 3 essay tests but she gives you a study guide the week before a test and give you the answers the class before the test. If you make note cards and put time into studying you cannot fail. Also the text book is not required. I wish I could take her again!

Dr. Hansen has been one of the most helpful teacher's so far in my college career. Most online teachers are very absent from the class but Dr. Hansen was engaged and active with the students.

I took her for an online summer class, and I'm so happy I did. There was quite a lot of work due to it being an accelerated course, but she is an easyfair grader. She is the type of professor that wants to see you succeed. Do your work and this will be an easy A. Highly recommend.

Took this class online, and it was by far the easiest class I have ever taken. Not only does Hansen respond quickly to emails, she makes it easy for students to get the grade they want. Do the few assignments she gives you, put your heart into it, and no doubt you will not receive anything below an A. I learned a lot too!

This class is an easy A if you do all the work. Dr Hansen is an easy grader and there aren't too many assignments. The tests are difficult, but she encourages you to use your book and notes.

This teacher was a great teacher, although there were a lot of assignments to write, they are short and super interesting. You can use TED talk which is amazing! She is quick as uploading grades and I believe is fair. Participation/discussions are extremely important in her class, overall great teacher and I highly recommend her!

Took this Govt. class online with her for half a semester and it was a great decision! 3 papers that are super easy, open ended, and graded easily, 5 super easy unit tests and a post exam, and 21 discussions (average post 3 times a week for 7 weeks, mix of original posting and responding). All in all,super easy teacher and class!

Ms. Hansen was really chill. It was hard keeping up with all the homework and tests though. She was really nice and helpful. I had trouble with keeping up with the discussions as well. Luckily she averaged out posts/week so if you missed a week you could make it up. I didn't understand much but I definitely learned something!

I took this class online but I could really tell she wanted us to succeed and she's always willing to help. A pre test, 5 tests, and a post test are the only tests you have. Depending the length of the class is how many discussions you will have, mine was full semester so it was 45 (super fun and super easy). Three super easy 500 word assignments

I took Government online as a minimester. It was super easy. A few chapter tests, a post test, a couple of short activities, and a specific amount of discussions was all it really was. The tests were a little difficult, but the rest of the class was basically a participation grade. She's super lenient as long as you put forth the effort.

She was such a genuine professor. I communicated with her early on about the desired grade I wanted (an A), and she made sure I received an A in her course. The online tests are very difficult, but the discussions & assigned papers are very easy. I wish she would post online PowerPoints, the textbook chapters are very long and disengaging.

Sally Hansens Comparative Politics class is super easy and fun. I took the hybrid and it is basically a test, discussion, and lecture on each section. The discussions are really easy do not miss any they boost your grade a ton. Test take some getting used to but Professor Hasen is always willing to help. Come to the lectures, attendance is graded.

I did all my work and got an A. Very easy. Not stressful. It's like she just sees that you did it and puts in an A. Lol. Most chill class ever. I wish I could give her a hug.

Super easy. There's only like 5 or 6 tests. The answers are online. You do have to do three weekly discussion posts but they aren't hard. You also have to do one internet assignment thing which is just a few biographies on your representatives. Pretty easy to get an A and I only had 10 hours a week to actually work on it because of my job.

Absolutely love her. I have taken her twice now. She is so easy. Youre graded on 11 tests (1 per country) and 3( 1 paragraph) discussion posts and 1 reply per country that are super easy as well. She drops your lowest test score and your lowest discussion. She is super lenient and will grant extensions when needed. 12/10 recommend.

Passed this class without the use of the textbook. Hansen is super easy on grading and a great instructor. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Shes super responsive to emails & very understanding. The half sem. comparative gov u have 11 tests 11 discussions. They're evenly weighted , your lowest score in each is dropped. On the discussions she has pretty interesting vids for each country, she expects 2 posts and 1 reply, 4 sentences each. Sometimes her notes are inconsistent with the book

Professor Hansen was helpful for an online professor. She was diligent in giving responses to discussion posts and the course's exams were open book (it said in the syllabus). She graded in a reasonable amount of time and was understanding when I had a technical problem and got locked out of an incomplete test. Would recommend!

Professor Hansen is one of the best Professors I have taken so far! She is so fair in her grading. If you don't do well on certain she'll drop 1-2 of your lowest test scores. She does have a lot of discussions in her online class, but they are easy. I highly recommend you take her!

If you're looking for a class to complete your AA degree, then this is the teacher for you! With difficult times due to Covid-19, it's easier and faster to take it online and get it done with it. But overall, Professor Hansen is a nice lady and a fair grader!

Her class was set up great! Took this full-term online and it was excellent. Every 3/4 weeks there was a unit test (based on 3 chapters), 3 discussions, and a VERY short quiz. There was also a pre and post test (25 questions each) and an assignment. You were also allowed to work ahead. This was a great class and I highly recommend!

4-5 tests weren't my fav, but the internet helped. One assignment, a little long. 5 units, 3 dis each unit; discussions were my fav. Prof. didn't judge, students wrote about opinions on politics. Loved expressing myself, & talking to the prof. with any questions. She gave 100s on everything, easy A. Recommend online, definitely take Prof. Hansen.

EASY CLASS. THERE ARE QUIZZES, TESTS AND DISCUSSIONS. I did not need the book at all. There is a project towards end of class which seemed difficult at first but super simple and pretty straight forward. I would take class over any time. EASY A

Professor Hansen's class was great. I took a Spring A semester class that was 7 weeks but the pace was good. 2 tests online and 2 discussions online per week. 1 "big" assignment at the end but it was very simple and did not take me long. Would take this class again for fun if I could.

Class structure is great, took her for an accelerated B semester and did not regret it. Workload is manageable, she respects all opinions in discussion posts and grades fairly. 2 chapters with a test each and discussion post w a reply for each every week. No final. Learned a lot in an easy enjoyable way.

I took this class online over the summer. It ends in a week and my final grade is an A+. Tests and discussions. There is a book, in my opinion you do not need to buy it. Ms. Hansen is a great teacher and I would take her again if I could.

If you are going to take the FCLE I do not recommend taking this class unless you are fine with self-studying. This class is very easy though.... Class only consists of quizzes and discussions but be sure to do good on the quizzes. Respects all opinions. She does not really give you any study guide for the FCLE so you have to do things on your own.

Professor Hansen is amazing. Class has quizzes, weekly post and a final project. She is very responsive and truly cares about her students. Coursework is easy to follow. Definitely take this class with her you will Not regret it.

Make sure to read the textbook chapters before taking the tests, there is a test and discussions for each chapter. She gives very good feedback and answers emails quickly.

Just took Professor Hansen for Gov, she was amazing! I did my Congress assignment wrong and she explained to me what I did wrong and let me make it up which helped me because it was 10% of my grade. Would 100% recommend taking her and will definitely take her again if she pops up in enrollment for my other history classes. Sign up for her class.

My DE daughter just finished her class with Prof Hansen. I recommend taking this class in-person bc my daughter loved every second of it, was upset when the course was over & asked me if she could attend the lectures again for fun! She walked out of every class excited to talk about what she learned. All viewpoints are 100% respected. A+ Professor!

Very easy, I dont remember there being that many assignments because I had a lot of free time with that class. As long as you follow directions you will get an A!

Great! Amazing professor! Just participate in the weekly discussions &take the quizzes, I took it as an accelerated course at the same time as 2 other classes, I've learned a lot from this class, the participation in the discussions really gages you. All in all, if in doubt......trust me, take her class.

Professor Hansen is the best professor I had her class online and it was so easy. Once a week there would be a discussion that had no requirements to it and only reply to one person and a 25-question quiz. Easiest class that I have ever taken and would do it again

One of the best professors I've had so far! I had Ms. Hansen online for American Federal Government, accelerated at that. The class is just Quizzes, Discussions, and one Major Assignment. But as long as you keep up with the work and due dates, you are pretty much set up to make an A. I could have easily gotten an A if I applied myself and focused.

If you need this class I would strongly advised to take it from her.The class is just quizzes, discussions, and one Congress assignment. As long as you keep up with the work you will pass this class.

This class was an easy A. All of the discussions and tests were open when you start so you can work ahead or go at the class pace. Anyone who receives less than an A just does not care.

This class was a breeze. She goes over 11 countries with each having one discussion and one test. The discussions have three videos attached. You must post three times so you have the option to comment on two videos and one classmate or reply to two classmates and only watch one video. She is a very graceful grader and is very understanding.
