She was easy to understand and her tests were easy. But she never came to class. We ended up getting two new professors during the course. That was a bad experience.

This class is standardized - each section is the same so you'll be learning the same stuff no matter who you have, but I definitely recommend Sally Weekley. She is really friendly and helpful to students who may be having trouble with the material.

Do not take this class w/ weekley. She is TERRIBLE. she is unwilling to help and does a terrible job trying to explain things. Also, the tests are very difficult and theres practically no chance of getting an A.

I don't know what everyone else is talking about. Sally was very helpful. She would tell you exactly what she would put on the tests and would not try to trick you. The homework assignment was cake. You also get a few days off during the quarter because she gets sick often. You won't regret taking this class with Sally.

Very easy class. I would recommend taking it with someone you know and splitting the book, only a few readings. Don't need to go to class, but get the notes from someone. Read the notes and you'll get good grades on the quizes. Class was kind of boring, but she's a good prof, and she cares about actually teaching you something about psychology.

Don't buy the book, complete waste of money...your basically buying the notes...but you still have to go to class to fill them in.I didn't enjoy her class, never made it interesting. Just notes.

sally was awesome, had many worksheets and examples that laid everything out you needed. if you study the notes, the class was a breeze. would def recommend her!

Don't even bother buying the book. A complete waste of money!! Other than that, Sally is a nice person but she lacks a little on the teaching skills. It's hard to teach stats anyways, especially when no one wants to be there in the first place. An okay teacher, but if you can get someone else, try to.

she is a terrible prof. wrote the book, which is a glorified outline of her notes, which you have to go to class to fill in. no outside information. she always seems frazzeled and shows up normally 5-10 minutes late (meaning 20 after, not 10 after). impossible to get ahold of (i emailed her 3 days ago and am STILL waiting for a response. hated it

it is a hard class, so do all the problems in the practice book. sally will help you if you need extra help, but she talks really fast during class. attendance isnt mandatory, but i wouldnt miss class!

Sally is very sweet, very helpful, and pretty good at explaining stuff and offering help outside of class. It wasn't too much work and her powerpoints pretty much go over exactly what's on the test, plus, she gives you a study guide with the test questions, so yoy'll be well prepared. There are no suprises!!

easy as long as you go to class and take the notes. you dont need to read the book at all. SHe tells you exactly what will be on the tests. def take her for this class!

Love her!! She makes the class very simple, and explains things very well. She makes you buy a packet of her notes and then you fill in the blanks in class...it helps so you can still pay attention. she is very approachable and interesting!! Take this class with her!

Not the best at explaining ethics. I had a hard time understanding what she meant/applying it to lessons. All exams were short answer & essay so if you hate that, this class is not for you. I wouldn't recommend this professor.

Sally was a really nice person, but she was no good at teaching statistics. For the people who had some understanding of stats coming into the class, they did well, but for those of us who had no prior stats experience it was difficult to comprehend her lectures and teaching style.

she put all of the note outlines on blackboard. she is very open to student opinions and questions. gives extra credit for blackboard discussion posting and gives participation/attendance points on discussion group days. i really didn't use the book that often.

I'm terrible at math, but this class was not difficult at all. She doesn't take attendance and it's not worth buying the text book. I think she asked one question from it on all of her tests combined. Not the most exciting person, but if you just show up and listen you'll get a good grade.

Sally is fantastic. She frequently posts on Blackboard, and never tries to trick you on test. She is very understanding if there is any kind of health problem, and as long as you seem like you're trying she is very willing to help you. She Genuinely wants you to do well. Best professor I've had so far. Only problem: sometimes very hard to contact.

Nice lady. Don't buy the book you will never open it. Tests come straight from notes so go to class every day (even though attendance isn't mandatory). Puts all the homework answers online so you can see what you did wrong..or right. Overall extremely easy class!

Sally has been my favorite professor yet! She is sooo helpful and will not trick you on a the tests. She give such good examples to relate to your life. She is so passionate about her job and does such a great job explaining everything she teaches. I am taking her again for PSY120

I loved psych 101. It made me want to minor in psych. Most of the class is just note taking but she has good real life examples. exams aren't that bad and lots of extra credit. Really liked her.

Wonderful prof! Very interesting, knowledgeable, and helpful. Class is frequently cancelled or let out early, but attendance is necessary for a good grade. Textbook is not necessary, print off online outlines. If you study this class is an easy interesting A.

Weekley is an extremely helpful professor. DON'T BUY THE BOOK. Not needed. Attend the lectures and you will understand everything crystal clear. She is very patient at answering questions. Explains things very straightforward. Understands not everyone in the class is a stats/psych major, and adapts her class to suit.

Extremmmeeely nice and lenient on homework/grades. Attendance not mandatory and I didn't even go to half the classes and ended up with an A. Explains everything well and the final is not comprehensive, take her if you can!

Sally is a very "real" person, she doesn't pretend to be perfect. She shows up late, doesn't dress up, and is very lenient. If you aren't interested in getting to know your professors, you won't enjoy her class. She makes it possible for everyone to do well, and the ones who don't do well are the ones who don't take advantage of the help.

Sally Weekly is overall a good teacher. She knows her stuff and really wants the class to succeed. My class got a 50% average on the 2nd exam and she is offering extra credit. The exams are really easy and the math is simple. Look over the hw and study problems before the tests and you will do fine.

Sally Weekley is an awesome professor! If you attend class and do the homework, you will have no trouble at all. I am horrible at math and found myself getting A's on all the tests. Do the test reviews she gives out, too. She is so sweet and an overall great professor!

I took this class randomly to fulfill a math rec, and I am so thankful I ended up with Sally! I hate math and I'm generally horrible at it. Considering I had no previous experience with stats whatsoever, her class was fairly easy. She's great at explaining things in a way which allows beginners like myself to understand the concept.

This class was incredibly easy. Sally makes a lot of sense. Anyone who knows how to do simple algebra and follow formulas will do fine without attending class every day.

Sally is amazing. Take her for psy 120, it's such an easy A! I'm a journalism major and I don't really care about math, but Sally makes the math requirement easy to fulfill. You don't have to go to class everyday, either. She's great, take her. :)

Pretty easy class if you actually study, which I didn't most of the time and still got a C. I love Sally! She tells interesting stories in class and uses a powerpoint as an outline not the whole basis of the class. You'll have a quiz every 2 weeks and a final and that's basically it apart from your psychology experiments.

If you are looking for an easy A that is actually interesting, take this class. She is really nice and easy-going. Cancels class often, lets out early, gives easy notes. Tests and quizes are average to easy difficulty level. Only one homework assignment, a one page paper. Recommended!

She makes you buy a book that she wrote for $100 that is basically every power point compiled into a book. Attendance is not mandatory. Class was so boring that I'd either fall asleep or not come. I would have done better if it was mandatory because that would force me to come. The grades take forever to be posted. Thank you, I'm 100 yrs old.

She is a wonderful professor. I actually enjoy going to her lectures each day. She tells fantastic stories about her own life and family which helps you remember information. She includes notes at the beginning of the course. It's perfectly fine if you miss a lecture! Did I mention she was the nicest lady I've ever met.

Amazing teacher that doesn't go at a fast pace by any means. Even though it is a lecture class she will be happy to answer questions. She tells stories about her life all the time that relate to the material and it really does help you on the test. If you are willing to go to class if it will fill a requirement for you, then take this class!!!

Took Phil 130 with Sally this quarter after taking Psych 101 with her, and it was a good choice. Her strengths are her clarity, approachability, and is interested in seeing her students succeed. She teaches classes with controversial topics, but her approach to them is excellent. She doesn't try to influence or sway your thinking. Great Professor.

Sally is extremely nice! Sometimes she is little boring, and words things in a complicated way. You do need the book, because you turn things in from it. Overall, unless you need the class I wouldn't bother taking it.

I was never good at math and terrified to take this class. Prof Weekley gave very good feedback on the discussion boards and great study material for the 2 tests (midterm and final). I'm not sure if I would have passed (with an 'A' to be exact) using any other instructor.

You have homework every week, it is only one sheet and she provides the answer key online. She wrote her own textbook and each chapter is only a couple pages long. She is so nice and is always eager to help you with anything. Such a nice lady

A lot of professors say they don't judge you on your personal politics and beliefs, but Sally really means it. A great professor who made class interesting and who made discussions feel both safe and interesting. Superb lady and a wonderful instructor.

She makes herself present for answering questions right away and is very relaxed. I posted her lectures are great but I really mean her book. She posted the assigned readings from her book and made it relatable and interesti

She has a homework that is due every week that she provides not only the answer key for but the breakdown of the problems as well. Exams are open book, not proctored. You still need to understand the material to pass, she helps you a lot with this. She joined our FB group for stats and is super helpful! She is the best professor I have ever had.

Professor Weekley may be a very kind person, however her ability to transcribe notes into a format that is easily understandable is lacking. Her word documents are so unorganized, I find myself spending much extra time re-typing them just so I can focus on the important things. She seems to like the sound of her own voice, even on paper.

I was pretty nervous to take statistics based on co-worker's experiences. Professor Weekley does an outstanding job making statistics relate-able and easy to understand. Tests are open book, but timed. I read her notes, did the homework, and got an A.
