BARUCH, is the model professor every professor shld b like. This guy is the best, homework is the test just different numbers! he goes over the topic over nad over again, so if you miss one day, you dont fall behind, in otherwise a hard class. no book needed

Professor Sam Baruch is by far one of the best professors I've had at Pace. He makes you learn even though your interest level for the material is low. Exams are similar to his review sheets. He's very helpful and lenient. Professor Baruch made calculus fun, although it's hard to believe, but it's true. This class is an easy A!

Baruch is one of those genius professors. His real job is he predicts fluctuations in in the stock market. Hes nice and wants everyone to do well. All notes and lessons are from him, no textbook required. The only issue is he teaches the material as if you already know it because he does it 24/7. Be prepared to write a lot and study a lot. 3 exams

By far the best math professor/professor Pace could ever have. Got an A in his class. I am a D student when it comes to math but Professor Baruch makes the material really simple to understand. The exam problems are similar to the examples in classwork and homework. Nothing confusing. I guarantee you'll get an A. TAKE HIM! :)

He talks& writes fast as hell . My class sucked @ probability so he put it all on the final. It forced me to either understand it or fail the exam. So I studied it and I realized that it was REALLY Easy He Never checks HW or attendance

1 midterm 1 final. He assigns homework but not mandatory to do them. Just show up to class and take notes. His review sheet was exactly the same as the test (numbers switched of course) but i just studied the review sheet and did well and I suck at math. I wish all teachers was like sam baruch. I hated probability but he made it easy to learn.

A decent teacher, but cares for his students. No textbook is a bit dangerous, but his review sheets suffice. Got a bad vibe from him, but is very considerate towards grades.

Great teaching style. He also encourage the students to interact: discuss the concept of different approaches and methods. I received an A by attending all his classes and finished the assignments. This class does require work; if you are willing to dedicate to get an A, he s definitely the professor to work with.

Calc II can be a very hard, but Baruch does his best to make things clear. He encourages class participation, hands out and goes over practice exams which is helpful. I got a 61 on my first exam and thought i was in some serious trouble, but i ended up with an A just by asking questions and paying attention. Highly recommend for any math class.

He is a math genius but is still super clear about everything he does in class and definitely gives enough examples. By far the best professor I've had to this day. His lectures are interesting and easy to understand and he takes his time to answer any and all questions students may have. He offers tutoring to students in case they need extra help and his exams are based almost entirely off of his review sheets. Great professor to take.

Math is my worst subject, Stats in 2 weeks during the summer was the hardest class Ive ever taken. It was painful I got migrants. BUT, He explains everything so well. I never fell behind, and was able to follow each days review after the days lesson. The key to passing his tests are staying up to date on the review sheets, do them like homework!

Attendance is not mandatory however I strongly urge it. He teaches very fast and it may be difficult to keep up but he answers any and all questions you may have without making you look stupid. One of my favorite professors at Pace. I learned a lot from him. Professor Baruch is also very funny!

Baruch is one of the best, if not the best, professors at Pace. Any class you take with him is going to be interesting and useful. The material is rarely easy, but he finds a way to explain it to anybody, who works and asks the questions. His tests are tough, but reasonable when you study. Baruch's lectures were very clear, and he gave great examples and review sheets. Go to the lectures b/c there's no textbook. He has a different personality, so it's sometimes hard to read him. If you participate a lot or sit in the front, he'll pick on you to answer q's (which is sometimes uncomfortable). I'm a math person, so this class was easy

The material is tough, I'm not gonna lie. But he is an excellent teacher. You have to pay attention in class, he does tend to go fast. His exams are identical to the practice exams. The math itself isn't hard, you just have to know when to use what equation/method and what it means. He can be very monotone and boring, but he's efficient.

Professor Baruch is one of the best professors that I have ever had at Pace University. He has a very unique personality and is very enthusiastic about the course material. Prof Baruch is the most knowledgable professor in statistics at Pace. He is super passionate about his job, and explains everything very well. There isn't much hw (6 assignments due online at the end of the semester), but the tests are very content heavy and difficult. As long as you listen in class, he will prepare you for everything you need.

He taught calc 2 better than how I learned it in high school! He gave us great application practice problems, and they were similar to the tests. And his lectures are easy to understand. I admired how he explained the theory behind concepts in calc 2 and differentials very well (which I feel many math teachers/professors don't do). Just go to class

Professor Baruch is a wonderful teacher, I've learned so much and have gained more mathematical skills in 1 semester taking him then I have ever received in my life. He is very passionate about his lessons, but this is not an easy class if you do not pay attention, so be prepared to work hard.

Prof Baruch was hands down my favorite math teacher. Econ Statistics is in no way an easy course but he really did try so so hard to get us all to understand. and in the end, we all absorbed the info super well. 10/10 would take again!

Amazing professor. Lets you stop him if you don't understand and he goes back through the material carefully. He actually cares about whether or not you understand and makes his best effort to get the information across. Gives great lectures and note during them. The exams are based on the lectures, so show up and pay attention.

I took him for MAT144 and ECO380. Both courses are incredibly hard, but he is an amazing professor. He offers lots of office hours and is always quick to respond to any emails with questions. He's very knowledged in what he teaches. The work is a lot, but if you engage in class and take notes during reviews, you'll be fine.

His lectures are very clear, he is always willing to answer questions/show examples, he cares deeply about his students, and his exams are always like the study guide.
