Awesome person. Dr. Truong will help anyone willing to put in the effort. He tells you everything you need to know but you have to learn it. He stresses learning not memorizing. I am an accounting major and he made anatomy and physiology easy enough for me to get an A.

Dr. Truong is a wonderful instructor! You just have to be willing to put the effort in and study! He is also cute to boot! Wonderful class!

Very helpful when you ask questions. He gives you a study guide for the exams and tells you questions that will be on the tests! as long as you study, study, study and show up for all classes you will be fine. use up the time you have in lab because the practical is exactly what you do in lab. graet teacher and made classs interesting.

Best professor I've ever had! I never opened the book because he gives a powerpoint that is all you need. BUT he does say 20% of tests comes from the book only (his way of machining you read it). He grades on a curve, stresses what will be on the test and gives a study guide. Take SEVERAL pictures of all lab slides and models and you'll do fine!

Tells you exactly what will be on the test! Don't miss any classes and attend all labs and lectures to get all info but truong is a great professor willing to help you succeed. Expect to do A LOT of studying!!!!! It's like 3 classes worth of work but at least it's relevant to your career.

He is a great professor. To pass his class I had to record his lecture and make up my own questions that went along with the lecture. I would then study with a friend and just ask each other questions. I also drew out every slide because visuals are important. For lab take pics and use an ap to label.

Dr. Truong is a very nice, helpful teacher. Yes anatomy is hard class but if you put yourself to it you can do it. He doesn't use the textbook in class but you are required to read it for the test and I recommend reading it because it really helps for the tests. He also gives you the lecture notes to study for tests

He lets you know exactly what he wants from you, his test reviews are very helpful. It's a difficult subject, you must do your due diligence, but truong is a great teacher.

Dr. Truong strives for you to learn, not memorize. He makes the info very applicable to you, therefor easier to learn. A+P is tough, but not impossible! Rules for getting an A: study every night, take pictures of lab models, ASK QUESTIONS!, ask him to quiz you in lab, and stay the entire lab because he gives lots of extra credit every week.

Test are not to bad but require you to study. He takes questions from the book sometimes so study those. In lab ask him to show you stuff on the models, he will tell you what he will and won't ask. Lectures are mandatory because so much material is covered. Gives you a lecture study guide that covers about 95% of what's on the test. Great teacher

Dr. Truong is so wonderful. He really takes the time to help his students. I had to work my butt off, but it was worth it. I'm honored to be his student.

I LOVE Dr. Truong. He's by far my favorite professor. Highly recommended, though he does make you work for your grade. He's very clear on the material you'll be tested on and his Anatomy courses can be very difficult if you're not into the subject (you might want to change major anyways).

This course is harder than 150. Not impossible though. Truong is very clear as to what is expected. You must earn your grade. Put in the extra time as this is part 2 of the series. ANAT150 is 20% physiology, 80% anatomy vs. ANAT 151 is 20% anatomy and 80% physiology. Put in the time reading, studying, and UNDERSTANDING the material. Don't memorize!

He was a great teacher! I'm definetly taking him for 151. He's very helpful and clear when he lectures and lets you know what to study for the exams. He also offers extra credit on the tests! Earning an A in this class was hard and I had to dedicate many hours to studying but it's expected. This isn't an easy class. But he is a great professor!

Dr. Truong is the ONLY professor I recommend taking! He is amazing and is so helpful! This course is difficult regardless of teacher. You have to put in your time and effort if you want an A! Chances are, if you are taking 150 151 you are going into a medical program. This class really prepares you with content and what to expect as far as work.

Excellent professor. I wish I had him for every class. Not to say he is easy - he definitely makes you work for your grade - but he is clear, approachable, and very helpful. He can seem a little strict, but if you follow his suggestions and SHOW UP TO EVERY CLASS AND LAB, you will pass.

The Anatomy concept is so large, but Truong will take that concept and make it alot simpler then it is. He's what a professor should be challenging, helpful, and reliable. I took the summer course and everyone told me I was going to die. I got a B and absolutely glad I got this out of the way with Anatomy being a challenging course alone. Take him!

READING IS FUNDAMENTAL. He'll say it, he means it. If you DON'T read the material, or pay attention to his (extremely clear) lectures, you won't do well. I've never had a professor more clear than Dr. Truong. There is no reason to not do well, unless you are lazy. Record his lectures, it helps. It's impossible to do well without studying.

This class is mostly read at home, lecture in class, study with friends type of class. You want to make sure you read the chapter prior to his lecture so that if you don't understand something, he might clear it up for you. I don't think you need to record lectures, if you read and pay attention you should be fine.

Dr. Truong cares about his students and their success. Attend every class and record all lectures. Anatomy/Physiology is difficult no matter which teacher you take it with. Offers credit. He is very organized and clear with his lectures. Do your part and you will pass. He will go to study groups with students before a exam and answer any questions.

Great professor. Great class. He gives reviews for his tests & tells you EXACTLY what to expect on the exams. I was RARELY taken by surprise. Hes super nice and he has the funnest accent. Very easy to understand and makes the material easy to grasp. You rarely need the textbook. His lectures cover it all. I would definitely recommend his classes!

Give clear notes online (didnt even have to open the textbook) and great memory tricks in class. Lecture tests are exactly what he says they will be and lab tests are strictly identification. Easy extra credit offered at the end of every lab. Grades are curved. You wont regret taking this. Very entertaining

Such an amazing professor and class! Dr. Truong is hilarious and cares for his students. There are quite a few tests, but he will go over them. He even lets you know some of the questions! There are extra credit opportunities on all of the lecture exams except the final. Show up! To get a good grade in this class you MUST show up for the lectures.

Really good teacher. This is a difficult subject, so you do have to study on your own time to pass. He does give many extra credit opportunities during class and at the end of exams. Dr. Truong is the best Anatomy & Physiology professor. If you attend class on a daily basis he gives you hints to the exam. It does require many studying hours outside of class to earn an "A". He gives enough extra credit during midterms. However, he gives many exams throughout the semester and has pt1&2 finals. Difficult class but doable.

Dr. Truong was my favorite teacher at CHC. I took ANATOMY 101, 150 & 151 with him. The classes are definitely a lot of work but worth the hard studying. Now with that being said, you do have to put time aside to study but I would recommend using a recording advice during lectures because he will clearly state what material will be on the exam.

Dr. Truong is an amazing professor. I was only able to take Anatomy 151 from him but wished that I had been able to take his class for 150. I had only heard of Truong, but to have him during the summer made it so much more enjoyable. He broke down everything and simplified it. All at the same time being entertaining. You can tell how much he loves his job and as difficult as the topic is he will be sure to help you understand! Lots of extra credit, usually practice or something alike.

Great Teacher, very helpful

Overall, a pretty decent professor for lecture. It's important to attend lectures because the information is pivotable for the tests. The class starts to move pretty fast and there are not really "homework" assignments, rather he wants you to study. It seems like there's exams every two weeks. Lots of extra credit is offered.

The grade I received is not a reflection of his teaching but it is a reflection of personal events happening in my life while in this class so i was not able to pass. Dr. Truong is a great professor, and his lectures are very detailed. He makes learning fun with his jokes and humor. I had him for ANAT 150 and 151, and I have no complaints about his courses. We have about 5 exams, and they contain exactly what's in our notes. He gives practice questions for every exam, and I recommend doing them/studying them.

Record the lectures on your phone, AUDIO ONLY. 2. Get a pdf reader and edit the slides like he does.( I prefer PDF Gear) 3. In lab, take pictures of all models and edit them!

I thought anatomy was impossible for me to understand until I took this course. Mr. Truong teaches in an efficient manner and only dives into the nitty gritty.
