Professor E is a great teacher. I took her ENC1101 class and it was very easy, two in class essays and three homework style essays. Come to class and participate you will pass. Participation does count so make sure to show up. I took the night class and it flew by each time. Need 1101 take professor E.

This was the first college class I have ever taken. It was VERY easy. As long as you do the work, and follow the instructions of each assignment, you will pass easily. Make sure you go to class, they are worth 10 points each. She sends personal emails after every assignment to pin point your good and bad parts. Overall she was amazing! TAKE HER!

Dr. Ertenburg was the best teacher I've ever taken. Attendance is not mandatory but she does give points for each class attended. She is very energetic and keeps you engaged in the class. There were only 3 big papers in her class and 2 in-class essays that were really easy. She is easy to get in contact and does post grades promptly.

**1st semester student** Dr. E is cool and laid back. There are a few 200 word discussions with maybe 2 or 3 papers, but she gives you more than enough time and if you don't understand anything, she'll be more than glad to help you out. She gives out extra credit like crazy too!!! And she's silly.

Professor Ertenberg is AMAZING! She honestly cares about her students. She is always available if you need her. The coursework is very straightforward. All you have to do is complete the writing assignments and you will pass. A syllabus is given at the beginning of the course, and you can work ahead if you want. She gives excellent feedback!!

I love Dr.E! I was so scared to take this because writing is my worst subject but this is the first teacher I've ever had to explain my mistakes so well to me. I learned so much from her. She is always available to answer questions and she grades your papers fast. It's a very easy class, take it online with her don't waste your time in a classroom.

The class was pretty cool. Not a lot of work. Attendance matters! There's a couple articles you'll have to read before class, but other than that there's three essays for the whole semester and works cited drafts that count for majority of your grade.

Amazing professor. Gives helpful feedback and is always encouraging through positive quotes in reminders and emails. Opened the course a week early and was able to submit assignments early. We were able to see other students work before submitting most assignments which was very helpful. Gives extra credit and cares about her students.

As a first time college student at 25, she made me feel confident that I could do anything! She takes time to review ALL papers or discussions you do. I did the online class and felt like it was pretty easy, mostly discussion posts, and a couple of papers. Nothing was too tedious. 10/10 recommend!

I passed this class with an A and I am not the strongest writer! There were only two major papers, five discussions, and an email. The discussions were very simple and chosen by you. Majority of the writing was your own opinion which makes it super easy to write about. Plus, she is very forgiving! Great professor overall great class to take.

If you are taking ENC1101 or ENC1102 you need to be in her class. She does not provide assignments for the purpose of extra credit; However if you do really well on some assignments, she does award extra points.

She's incredibly caring, she grades very fast (I would always receive a grade for my work the day after turning it in), and she's just amazing. I have nothing bad to say about her or the class.

I really enjoyed this professor! She was fun and enthusiastic, and the lectures were all very engaging. The class had less of a focus on typical writing class content (such as outline and thesis), and was more about critical thinking and self expression through writing. The papers were easy and she gave very good feedback about them.

The semester isn't over yet. But such an amazing professor, quick grader, and if you did good on the assignment she has no problem giving you extra credit to the assignment.

Dr. E was one of the best professors I have had so far. I love her free-flowing style of class, and the best thing is she accepts late work, so long as the assignment is not more than a week late. The writing assignment was easy and very creative. Not a lot of reading required either; she does give honest grades, but she's great.

She is so much fun and you will LOVE coming to class!

Dr. E provides excellent feedback on assignments allowing for improvement. She creates a positive learning environment for her students. She starts each class with articles which allowed us to have engaging conversations in class. I highly recommend taking a class with Dr. E.

super easy class I failed enc 1101 with a diffrent profesor and compared to her this class rules! 3 papers due throughout the year and she even helps you write the papers! if you send her an email for help she will proofread your paper before yu turn it in and even tell you what to fix! amazing teacher if i could give her a 20/10 i would

Dr. E, is the best! Super easy to complete! I took her A12 online class was able to finish in four weeks. I will be returning for Enc1102.

Professor Ertenberg has been my favorite teacher so far. I took her ENC1102 7 week online class, and we only had 8 assignments. When she grades the assignments she leaves cute little notes about things she enjoyed in your assignment. She motivated me to want to learn. I highly recommend taking her and I wish she taught more classes!

Dr. E is an amazing Professor, she lets you have two attempts at your exams and the discussion posts are easy. Quick grader and super easy class! Easy B if you hardly try, smoking easy A with some effort. 10/10 Professor.

Dr. E is an amazing professor! Great feedback. 12 week course could have been done in four or five weeks easily. Online class is open to work ahead. Dr E. grades very quickly. I didn't need to reach out for any help but Dr. E was always available for questions. I highly recommend this class

Dr. Ertenberg is a wonderful teacher! Taking a class with Dr. E is like getting a big energy burst. Even on online classes, she loves to encourage people, and will grade a paper as many times as you submit it as long as it's before the deadline. She's wonderful, and even though I'm not still taking a class with her, I still like to keep in touch.

She was very sweet and graded very fairly. i forgot a few assignment requirements due to the confusion of being a new student but since my writing was solid, she made sure that didnt hinder my grade. Professor Ertenberg was a pleasure and I could only wish that all professors were as caring as her. 10/10

Dr. Ertenberg is amazing! She is very passionate about teaching and takes her time to give you real feedback on all of your assignments. There are two essays which she is willing to help coach you on if needed. I wish I had more than 350 characters to describe just how amazing Dr. E's class is. If you are debating on whether you should take her or not for any of her classes, DO IT, you will not regret. Her lectures are so unique, fantastic, and easy to understand. The coursework is light and so enjoyable, and she is so flexible in making sure you succeed

Dr. Samantha Ertenberg was by far the most inspirational English Professor I've ever had (i.e., she is one of 3 English Professors whose class I've taken). I was privileged to take both her ENC 1101 and ENC 1102 courses. I learned so much in each of these courses, and I had an absolutely fantastic time! I HIGHLY recommend taking her courses!

Dr. Ertenberg was my first ever professors, and she couldn't be better. I took this class while still in high school and Dr. E made it very easy to keep up with. We had few quizzes but they were really easy if you studied, and 2 essay papers that were also not bad. She gives Great feedback on my work and is available almost all the time.

She is so great with feedback and being there for us, so I can't believe the one comment about her not responding to the student who didn't pass and her not taking the late assignment. I had a lot of family issues going on, and she fully understood. Not only did she work with me on the due dates, but she also really CARED!

She is so much fun in class and we have fun discussions every day! She links in articles that are fun as opposed to using boring classic novels and that makes it so we all enjoy the topics.

Professor Ertenberg is fantastic. ENC1101C was extremely easy to pass and she will always respond and help you with any questions you have.

Professor E was awesome and made writing fun and easy! don't be scared to ask questions about writing papers she is very helpful and doesn't make you write crazy essays. get her work done early and it easy!

Dr. E is by far the greatest teacher I've had at FSCJ. Her passion for teaching truly shows in every lecture, and she makes the material not only understandable but genuinely interesting. She's extremely supportive and always encourages students to do their best. One thing I really appreciate is that she rewards hard work.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Took her online ENC 1102 course and it was amazing, she gives amazing feedback and really wants you to succeed in class, she responds to emails really fast and is always willing to help. I would take any of her classes again if I had to!

If you hate English class (like me) you will actually have fun in this one! She doesn't do the regular, boring assignments. She makes them fun and likes us to find our own voice. I still don't like writing, but I did enjoy this class.

She was super easy. Gave extra credit work and was easy to talk to if you need help with anything. She also wrote me a letter of recommendation. Highly recommend taking her if you are a full time student looking to make the load easier. Grab her while you can and don't hesitate.

Dr. E is amazing! I wish I could take her for every class I have. I was very nervous going into this class as it was my first class back after 13 years. She is extremely helpful and gives amazing feedback. The classwork is totally manageable.

Dr E was amazing!!!! She was absolutely my favorite. Her assignments were very clear and extremely easy, and she gave incredible feedback. Also, I lost my grandfather while taking her and she was SO gracious about it. Gave me three extra weeks for an essay (only asked for two days) and even proofread the eulogy for me. She is awesome!

I'm so glad I took her face to face as opposed to just online because class was so much FUN! She is the type of professor who actually cares about you and makes college a great experience!

I had a rough semester with car accident and my kid being sick, but Dr. E helped me not only get through the class but feel like someone cared. I actually hated missing class because our article discussions were so fun

I took ENC 1102 and it was a 7 week class with only 6 assignments. There was 1 paper, 1 presentation (which was simple), and four 125 word discussions with no reply's on other students posts! Professor Ertenberg is funny and grades based on creativity. You get 25 points for every class you attend and I ended up with a 100 in this class!

I took it online and the assignments were fun so that made them easy to do. She was also so quick at responding to any questions I had!
