Not clear, rambles in lecture and with her accent it make the class that much harder. does not seem like she wants to help you pass in anyway, paranoid about students using their cellphones and getting on facebook with their laptops during lecture. Its diffuclt to ask questions in class. wouldn NOT reccomend.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I have never met a teacher more against phones. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY & points are taken off for doing other work. Class is almost 3 hours & she NEVER let us out early. It's agonizing since the lectures are very boring & so ridiculously long. I was scolded like a child for slouching. Doesn't really answer your questions
No phones. Attendance mandatory & don't be late. Gives power points. Quizzes taken during class lectures. Test are after every 2-3 chapters and taken at home on blackboard. Has a heavy accent (to me). Easy A if you attend class everyday.
She's adorable and very sweet, a little crazy. Attendance is a MUST. Tardiness will cause you to lose attendance points as well. Students think she's being overdramatic but I think she's trying to teach us to be responsible. Labs are pretty cool. Strict cell phone policy because she really wants you to pay attention. Tests are online. Nice lady
Great teacher. Didn't have a lab. Chapter tests and Final was online!!! Make sure you read the chapter beforehand and take notes
I did not enjoy my class with her. Super against phones. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. If doing other class work, she'll get mad&take off points. Even if you're bored, & doodling, she'll be mad you aren't clinging to her every word. Lectures are very boring SO LONG. Doesn't really answer questions. Pro: tests&quizzes online! I never took her seriously.
Very funny and kind lady. She knows What she is talking about if You put in the work You Will Get an A. Gives You all of the answers to the quizes, all test are online, final is online. Acouple group projects that she Will automatically give You 100 for. I liked Her But wish she didnt go Too fast if biology isnt your Major take Her !
Lots of points (weight wise) for attendance. She mainly uses power points but also doodles on the board so you can see whats going through her mind. If you participate in class she allows for online exams, even for finals. But you have to be able to keep up with her when she goes over the chapter. Don't miss any assignments (really easy).
The teacher is very strict about attendance, and participation. Her accent and tone makes it difficult sometimes to comprehend what she is saying. Most of her tests are online, however if you do not participate in the class, she will give an in-class test instead of online. Overall, I did not enjoy this class one bit. Recommend not to take it.
She is wanting you to go through the book make your own notes and know everything when you go to class to learn it. Very against phones and laptops if she thinks your using a phone she will make you absent in class and lab so you will lose 100 points that day. She doesn't stay on point in lecture and rambles.
Horrible class and horrible professor She does'nt know how to properly teach a class. She spends 2 hours and 45 minutes making the entire class present the same chapter EVERYONE repeats SAME THING A THOUSAND TIMES She says there are no such things as emergency and if you are on your phone then you are absent If you have to leave early you're absent
If you ever wanted to contemplate dropping out of college take this class. This has to be the absolute best way to make you want to walk out the classroom and go sell drugs rather than go to college. Her lectures are awful, she goes off topic every 30 mins, she treats you like you're in grade school, I'm convinced she got her med license off ebay.
Humorous lady but thats about it. She expects you to already know the material when you walk into class, as if its not her job to teach us. She's gets irraited if you don't know the answers to her questions. & She HATES phone/laptops, will mark you absent if you even GLANCE at your phone. Run while you have a chance.
She gives a lot of tests, she wants you to participate in every class activity even if it's just answering questions, she likes an outgoing person that tries in the class. She is an amazing person and teacher and she is caring! DO NOT SKIP THE CLASS.... AND WATCH THE VIDEOS IN THE POWERPOINTS BEFORE COMING TO CLASS! I got a D in the class by the wa
do not take, she WILL treat you like a child and she does not explain class RUN
The professor does explain the content well sometimes using real life examples . On the other hand, she's strict & unclear about instructions on assignments. Kind of makes you feel bad if you are genuinely confused/don't know the content you are learning and does not explain it to you and moves on

all test online even final, she would say is in testing center but is not , just to make you study.
If you want a Professor who gives everything online she is the right teacher for you! All her test are online but when she gives instructions about group projects they are confusing and she does not have a rubric or anything. If you she takes points for every class you go and if you miss even one that .55 less of your grade each time.
First of all she thinks she's so funny but she's actually rude af. The tests are hard if you don't read the chapters. She expects us to know everything when we come to class and if not she gets mad. She doesn't explain the group activities well and when we ask she gets mad and does not want to explain again ( What a great help!).
She makes you feel bad about not knowing things. She expects you to know everything even if it wasn't covered yet in the class. Her group projects are horrible, she doesn't explain it at all and expects you to know how to do it. Always assumes you're on the phone and takes points away. Would not recommend at all.
Her class is hard dont get me wrong but the way me and my classmates did it, we made a giant group chat and sent each others pictures of our online quizzes we take (her tests are straight from the quizzes) you study those quiz questions and get your classmates to send you theirs, youll ace every test guaranteed. make sure you participate as well
She means well but her group projects are the worst! Understanding the instructions are a challenge & if you miss class ALWAYS email her on what you missed because if not you will suffer from it. She isn't the fastest at responding to emails and can come off rude/sarcastic at times. On a good note, her lectures are easy to follow & understand.
Each lab is worth 50 points, missing one lab will bring your grade down almost two percentage points. There are active learning learning activities in lecture also worth 50 points so come prepared. The online quizzes she gives are the same questions on the exams so studying with other people and trading quiz questions will get you a high grade!
Best professor ever! Really considerate & class is easy
Before I took this teacher last semester I cane on here and read some of the worst reviews I ever seen. After taking her class for a&p1 I realized how wrong most of them were(the bad ones). This class is literally an easy A. Quizes are the exact exams. Should I even have to say more? Teacher is super nice and hilarious. Participate, study quizesA+
If you love teaching yourself take this class! She expects us to come to class already knowing the information so make sure you know everything about the chapter before she even lectures on it, or else you get yelled it. You must participate in class. Grade depends on it! Talk as much as possible to get max credit. I taught myself everything I know
Her exams are literally the same questions from your quizzes so find a buddy and compare questions to study. Lecture isn't mandatory, but make sure you attend lab. Do not make mistakes on lab homework, she takes off points for neatness.
At first the class starts off a little bit confusing, although after a week or two you'll get the hang of it. She actually really cares if you've learned the information and she expects you to care about learning information. It's not an easy A class but if you put in the work you'll get a good grade.
Her tests are easy if you pay attention and pay attention to the quizzes. She does group learning activities and lets you pick your group, they are fun if you make them. Homework is easy, but time consuming. Labs are easy just pay attention and take advantage of the open lab when needed. She is hilarious and will make you laugh with her stories.
Professor Beg at Valencia college requires the lab manual and always have pre lab homework. The classes grading system is very good. She gives clear understanding about what info will be tested on.
This class is only difficult if you make it. For quizzes, use both attempts and join with other kids to exchange questions/answers, it'll help you greatly for the exams. Show up to lecture and lab, and try to participate. If she see's you trying, she's a lot more lenient. Make sure your lab manual assignments are neat. She can't just hand out A's.
Only difficult if you dont put in any work. Study quizzes and work with other students.
Dr. Beg is quick with responding. Use quizzes to study.
I dont understand why Dr. Beg has bad reviews. I arent out on a whim (and a little skeptical) and decided to take her class. Im glad I did because its nearly impossible to fail her class. Study your quizzes for the exam and youre all set. Really easy class and shes honestly pretty funny.
Dr. Beg is an amazing professor, she teaches the material in a while that you will understand. Study the quizzes you take with other classmate's and you will pass the exams. Highly recommend this professor!
Dr. Beg is an amazing teacher and very nice lady who I have gotten along with. Would recommend her and would take A&PII with her.
Dr. Beg is an amazing teacher and very nice lady who I have gotten along with. Would recommend her and would take A&PII w her.
Professor Beg was a great professor and I took her for both A&P1&2, if you take quizzes and study those you will pass, you have to really do nothing in order to fail her class. Participate and Never skip lab bc she makes it a big deal and you will lose 50 points for that day.

Show up to lecture and lab, and try to participate. If she see's you trying, she's a lot more lenient. Make sure your lab manual assignment is neat and complete.
Easy A... Undoubtedly my favorite college professor. Highly recommend!
Quizzes are easy, use them to study for exams! 2 extra credit opportunities
Dr. Beg was nice and funny. Her quizzes are fairly easy, and if you study them you'll do great on the exams. Attendance required for lab so be sure you don't miss those! Overall, if you put in a bit of effort you will do just fine in her class!
Professor is very straight forward, very easy class. She also helped me find my wallet. Tests are similar to quizzes.
This class is freaking great, she actually teaches in ways people understand, but get ready for lab YOU WILL NOT OEAVE EARLY!!
This professor really cares about your grade. Lots of quizzes, lots of tests but if you get a group going and study your quizzes you will pass the tests. Lectures are dull but A&P is kind of boring like that. She will give you exactly what you need for the lab midterm and final so pay attention.
professor Beg is a funny and cute professor. she is a bit tricky though. class could be challenging, just a heads ups. there are lots of quizzes and exams,.
Be ready to work for your grade but for this type of class you shouldn't expect anything less. She will drill and repeat things until you understand and make you laugh while doing so. Caring, she really wants you to fulling understand the material, if you can't handle tough love than keep looking. Pleasure taking her class, taking A&P2 w/ her next
Great teacher who cares about her students.
Dr. Beg is one of the best professors I have ever had. Power points will be your best friend. Come to class prepared for the lecture, you will learn so much easier that way.
Professor Beg was straight forward from the beginning, she let you know what you need to do in order to pass her class from the beginning. Study her quizzes! Gather as many quizzes as you can get and study them for the exam. there are plenty of opportunities for you to get a good grade, and if you don't get a good grade, its because you didn't try
If you want to pass A&P 2 take this prof! She is amazing and very understanding about things. She is always willing to help and she is so funny! Make friends in class and try to study everyone's quizzes for the exams, the quiz questions are the test!
Professor Beg is a good teacher she will make sure you understand the material and will work with you if you need help. She also makes the class more entertaining at times she can be funny. Would recommend!
Professor Beg is very good teacher, even though somethings in the class are hard to understand she gives you a variety of examples and trys to connect previous information to help you out. Make sure to study for the quizzes and take advantage of the notes and study material she gives you in advance to be prepared for the exams.
Professor Sameena Beg is a great teacher. She was very helpful and she will make sure you understand the content. She also makes the class more entertaining by telling jokes. Would recommend!
Take her class ! She really does care for her students. I do HIGHLY recommend to read the material and study before getting to class or lab, that way you're prepared if she throws any questions at you. She does post her lecture powerpoints so if you miss class you wont fail but absolutely do not miss lab. Theres alot of hands on learning.
Dr. Beg is an amazing professor, but if you don't study on your own, you will fail.
Dr. Beg is an amazing professor, she's clear on what she wants and explains things in a way that you will understand. Study for the exams with the quizzes you take and you will pass!
I really enjoyed my class with prof. Beg. She is funny not because she's good at comedy but because she is her genuine self and I love it. Just read at home and don't come to the class clueless. This is college- if you can't handle her class difficulty you really shouldn't be there at all.
This professor is very key on specific things. To begin with, she wants you to be in class and lab till the very last second. She is very knowledgable, caring and funny! The class itself is relatively easy imo in comparison to UCF as well as other professors here at valencia. Study yours and other students quizes to get a solid test grade!
Do not take her class.
I took this professed only because I was late signing up and boy did I regret it! Professor beg was completely clueless about anatomy and questioned your intelligence constantly. She assigned many group projects that made no sense and then never helped us. She expected YOU to know the stuff SHE is paid to teach. I would not recommend her at all.
This professor was the worst Ive taken, she was rude and unprofessional. She knows nothing about what she teaches yet she expects you to know everything. Dont bother asking for help because shell just berate you and then tell you to find the answer yourself. Her projects are ridiculous and shes extremely disorganized. She shouldnt be a teacher
Dr. Beg was good until we switched to online due to the virus. She made exams very hard and with very little time to complete. It felt like punishment for no reason. Almost as if she had something to prove. She was very disorganized and didn't seem to care for her students. She was never clear on what she wanted for the assignments. RUN!
I took Dr. Sameena Beg for ANPI & ANPII. She is a wonderful professor, she wants all of her students to succeed and understand her class. If you participate, come prepared for lectures, and study then you are more than guaranteed to receive an A.
The only reason I'm passing this class with a B is because of attendance & because of the quizzes. If you share quizzes with your classmates you should do well on the exam since she uses the same questions. Now, lab is horrible. We taught ourselves, were lost half the time, and did the work amongst ourselves. Once we went online, lab was worse!!!
Honestly, if you put in the work she asks you to, you will do great! Do her unit quiz because on her exams you will see the same question! study and you will pass!
Dr. Beg is the best AP professor at Valencia hands down. She gives you the proper material to pass the class. She is clear and very helpful. Showing up to class is a must. But if you pay attention and go to class youll get a A or B!! Took her for both AP1 and AP2. 10/10 recommend
Dr. Sameena Beg is nice, caring, and a wonderful professor overall. Don't hesitate to ask questions, and make sure you study, read the textbook, and put in the work. Science classes aren't easy, the grade you get will reflect the amount of effort you put in.
I learned a lot here. Professor Beg is a charming teacher with a vibrant personality. She is very dedicated to her students and tries her best to give us mnemonics so that we can learn and remember the course material better. Because of COVID-19 all school courses have been moved online and she conducts voluntary zoom meetings regularly.
This professor is really good I would recommend taking her. Although, her instructions may not be clear at times. She is very caring and will answer any questions you have for her. Also, her tests are based on quizzes so focus on that!
Professor Beg is good at what she does, even though her instructions arent always clear. The class itself is very challenging, as any other science course would be, but she and her team are willing to help.
She is a wonderful professor. she very clear since day one. take her and you will not regret it.
Professor Sameena Beg is great! Currently taking a summer course so everything is fast-paced and can be difficult to keep up while taking other courses. However, with a study plan and a desire to learn you will do great!
Professor Beg is amazing! Even thought currently all courses are online, Professor Beg makes sure that students feel as if there is no major differences between an online Anatomy and Physiology 2 face-to-face course and an online course. You must study and practice the material often however, with a good study plan a high grade is achievable!
Great teacher. She sets you up for success
Professor does everything in her power to help us be successful. She provides us with many resources like tutors/ zoom meeting every week/ slides for each chapter. She is a very caring professor!
Great Professor. Very helpful. Do the work ahead of time. Very understanding.
Professor Beg is an extremely kind and caring instructor. She always answers quickly to any emails and provides plenty of resources if a student needs assistance. Now, I am taking her Anatomy& Physiology 2 class over the Summer and online, therefore this course has been extremely tough, especially due to the unit exam.
I took this class online due to COVID-19, but this class is not typically offered online. I felt like despite the difficulties associated with taking a class online, Professor Beg did a great job transitioning the class to online. There is a decent amount of online homework to complete, but nothing outrageous or pointless.
very heavy homework. Makes tutoring available. Not for working adults or for someone taking other classes or for anyone with kids. Very time consuming.
College Level course, so you need to do your fair share of work and studying. Great Professor, very funny in lecture. Her tests are based off of the quiz's, so study those and a little xtra and you should be fine. Do your homework and participate in class and it's an easy B.
Professor Beg responds in a very timely manner to emails. She is willing to help you if you ask. This class is a tough course so be prepared to spend a good amount of time studying and prepping for exams. Heavy homework but very needed in order to grasp the material and pass this course.
Prof. Beg always will answer your email on time. If you are having trouble her or her TAs will be sure to make a phone call or Zoom appointment. Make sure to study all the material and the practice in McGraw Hill Connect helps the most with Quizzes and Unit Exams.
Shes a great professor if you take her you wont regret it
With the changes made to online courses Professor Beg has made it easy to navigate through her course on canvas and the assignments. She is a great communicator & there is a lot of homework in the classes but there is more than enough time to get it done. Just keep up with the work!
Dr. Beg is my favorite professor I have ever had. I have taken her classes 3 times! She is always available to help you out. Her in person class is much easier than the online format, but she still has done a great job facilitating the change during this crazy time. I will miss having her as a professor.
Assigns a lot of tests and quizzes, also very assignment heavy. Make sure you keep up with the assignments or you will fall behind.
This course is not meant to be taken online because you will not get the face-to-face experience when it comes to labs and class lectures. Thankfully her two TA's came up with a weekly Kahoot session and a time to ask any questions we may have.
Great professor. First class taking it during covid pandemic so everything was online. Labs and practical were difficult due to not being able to attend lab. Exams are fair as long as your read the book.
Make sure to keep up with your assignments, especially when it is online. Dr. Beg is very nice. Reach out if you are having any troubles.
I had to take this class online because of the pandemic, but this teacher made it fairly easy to access the course and to pass the class. I'm currently still taking the class but im pretty sure ill come out with an A.
You have to do a lot of self-study since its online. I took this class in the summer, so it was fast-paced.
I took this class during the pandemic. It is a lot of self-study and its unfortunate I took it in the summer and I worked as well. You would have to work hard for this course.
Labs were kind of difficult to keep up with because they were very time consuming and its different online vs in person. However, the overall class is straight forward and not too hard to pass.
You have to work hard. Stay in communication with the professor and attend office hours.
Professor Beg is such a caring and understanding professor; with that being said, she really cares about her students and what she does. Participate, pay attention, and come to class and you will have an A. Since being moved to online this year; however, this class can be challenging.
My class was online and everything was pretty straightforward. Quizzes and tests were monitored online so make sure to study! Overall a good professor.
My class was online and everything was pretty straightforward. Quizzes and tests were monitored online so make sure to study! Overall a good and caring professor.
Worst professor. Pls don't take her! She ridicules students when we ask questions and would never answer them. This is ANP. Of course students will have a lot of questions. When you ask question, she will never answer it and will make fun of you and tells you to go do your research. I feel bad for her TA. Valencia needs to reevaluate her. please!
Make sure to keep up with assignments and with deadlines. She assigns a lot of homework and quizzes but they really do help when it comes to taking tests. Its an easy B class even A but you have to work for it.
She was very caring and super helpful
Just when you think you passed a test (she gives them almost every week) you end up getting a 38% every time. Someone explain that one to me. She also assigns a lot of homework and that fine but you cant even review them to see if you're right or wrong. So what exactly am I learning? Lecture videos are also boring and not even her.
I am taking this course online and I will be honest it was okay but wayyy to many SB assignments that literally take the longest time and are only worth 10 pts. There was really no material that was seriously helpful. The professor was nice but like many this semester doing an online course with her is just not the way to go.
In the beginning, I honestly struggled as I studied hours a week and still was getting pretty rough grades on the tests, but I realized the SB assignments & quizzes are what helps me study the best so practicing with those are what will help you pass as the tests are similar. Overall, the professor is helpful when being reached out to.
The workload for this class alone is ridiculous. I understand it's an A&P class, which is expected to have some level of difficulty but some of the smartbook assignments have 150+ concepts. If you're planning on taking this class, make sure you're not taking any other "hard" classes along with it.
The professor is really kind and funny. She does respond to emails and there is an option for some extra credit. Due to COVID the class is online. She assigns the assignments the week before so you don't know when you have tests or how much homework is due until that specific week. No online lectures, just videos of other professor and TA tutoring
Lots of assignments and virtual labs, but worth it in the end because they aid in understanding. This is a class where you must study on your own though and attend tutoring sessions too.
By no means is this an "easy" class. Plan ahead to minimize stress. You need to put in the work for this class to get the grade you want. I personally benefitted by attending the Zoom tutoring sessions by the TA's and Professor Beg would come in and clear things up. She is a very caring professor and is willing to help you, you just need to ask.
Take this professor and you will not regret it. Join zoom session and do well on all of your assignments and you'll be pass this class with a decent grade. Ask her questions and she will be happy to help.
Take this professor and you will not regret it. She is the best professor. you will not regret taking this class.
I'm a straight-A student and this class was a waste of money because I barely learned because it moved so quickly between material. There was not enough time to learn everything required especially while taking 3 other classes. Thank goodness I made a B. The class is also very challenging. I strongly recommend StudyBlue and Quizlet. Professor is ok
Definitely have to work for an A. Lots of reading and assignments. Material is not too difficult as long as you thoroughly read the chapters. Zoom classes were optional, I was unable to attend them. Professor was disorganized and unclear with dates, but responded quickly and worked with students.
The teacher answers your emails quickly but she might not be specific on certain things you might have asked. Now for homework, she assigns assignments that have up to 120+ concepts but she gives you a whole month until it's due. There are no lectures basically self-taught. Focus on quizzes if you are going to take this class. Good luck.
-heavy homework but the lab simulations help boost your grade -answers quickly but may not be specific -you may not know when the test is because she announces it late at times - Very nice and cares about her students - proctored test and lab quizes
Professor Beg is an excellent professor. She really knows her stuff and is very kind. I would recommend this class to most. If you are not ready to work hard and study, A & P may not be for you. It is a very study intensive course.
Dr. Beg was Great! For an online class, She was very efficient in communicating need for the class. There's virtual labs, extra credit, 5 exams, and about 8 looong student book assignments from the textbook.
Awesome professor!! Professor Beg was clear with her grading and feedback. Prepare yourself with lots of questions on McGrawhill SB ASSIGNMENTS, 11 chapters each with over 111 questions. Read and study every day, be responsible with all the HW and you will pass the class. Professor Beg is very understanding and caring. Good luck.
I took professor Beg for Anatomy and Physiology II - Online. For online, she posts other professors lectures (Youtube videos)as the class lectures. Test heavy. Her tests are 100% the quizzes, so study those and you'll get high A's on every test. I wish I realized this for the first two tests. I would recommend her. She's a fair professor.
Test heavy. The tests are made up 100% by the quizzes. She is a pretty easy going professor. Study the quizzes and you'll make great grades. I would recommend her.
Caring professor. Knows her stuff!
Very challenging class but as long as you stay up to date and read every chapter you will be fine.
Professor Sameena Beg is an amazing professor who cares about her students! A&P I was a difficult course to take online, but having Sameena Beg as a professor definitely made it a lot easier.
A&P I was a difficult course to take online, but having Sameena Beg as a professor definitely made it a lot easier.
Not a hard class if you keep up with work, I did well on my quizzes and exams from just reading the text book, there are study sessions on zoom that can help you understand material. I took this class online.
If I had to, I would take this class with this professor again! This was an online class I had to take during the pandemic in the fall 2020. Yes, online classes are not easy to take but with professor Beg she made it smooth.
good class to take i recommend it
Amazing professor!
she is super caring, gracious, and generous. take her! its a hard class, but she works with you and is very accommodating.
I didn't get much interaction with the professor since the class was all online but during the zoom meetings we had three times a week she was very nice and liked to crack jokes. She is very knowledgeable and I wish I could have seen her lectures. The TA's were very helpful though and taught me a lot. I hate online classes but this one wasn't bad.
She was a pretty okay professor. It was mainly self teaching though so If youre not looking for that I wouldnt suggest this class.
Professor Beg was extremely kind and helpful throughout the semester. She was very clear on what was expected throughout the semester and emailed the class each week with what needs to be done.
Dr. Beg made it clear when assignments were due.
Cool proffessor
A&PII is not an easy class, taking it online does not make it easier. TA's have multiple zoom meetings throughout the week to go over lab and lecture material. Go over SB hw assignments and you can practice quizes after due dates, quizes help get ready for test. Prof. Beg made class clear and easy to follow! Would take again!
The class is a lot of material. She does the best she can to teach the material. I think what I struggled the most was the labs. She expects you to learn the lab material from the manual and usually the manual doesn't cover all the material asked on the quizzes. She gives tons of homework but if you're good at managing your time, you should be fine
A&PII is not an easy class, online is not any easier. TAs have multiple study zoom sessions through the week. Go over all SB hw assignments and quizzes to help study for test. Prof Beg and TAs are helpful. Test and quizzes big part of grade. Study and you will pass. Would take again!
This professor gives you a good understanding of the class and good view to pass the class. You just have to communicate with her.
This professor gives you a good understanding of the class and good view to pass the class. You just have to communicate with her. She sends emails ahead of time to inform you about your assignment. Gives good feedback and helps out a lot. Overall great professor!
Shes very lenient on assignments shell push due dates back. Very good.
Study by yourself most of the things. Uses honorlock alot. Weird grading system. Lab 2 chance to take not allow to correct answers. Emails quick response. Most of the help by the helper's of the class.
Get the book!! Dont wait till late to do your assignments they are not short assignments but they are informative. The quiz questions appear in the exams. Pay attention.
I don't know if it was the fact that this was an online class, or if it was the fact that the teacher barely even offered any help other than passive aggressive announcements, but every assignment she gave was way too hard. The lab teachers were great and were always available to help you however.
Honestly do not take this professor at all like the professor may not be that bad but her tests are always incorrect which leads to you loosing point, no matter how hard you work you will not even get an A, and gives unnecessary amounts of questions on the hw like 200+. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.
Professor Beg is an okay professor. All I can say she is rude and her TAs are better than her .She makes so many mistakes on her exam and takes off so many points. Even if her tell her she will play dumb with you. her extra credit is trash! I barely learned anything and I needed to know this stuff for nursing school. DO NOT TAKE HER PLEASE!!
She does NOT teach. She has all her TA's basically teaching everything. Grading format is weird and horrible. She has so many exams that can bring your grade down. Everything is set to be automatically graded, so you're basically paying to have someone just sit around. As for feedback, she gives snarky remarks instead of helping.
DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER! Professor Beg does not "teach" at all. no assignments, notes, learning practice or reviews are given. only weekly quizzes and exams. (through Honorlock!). Everything is automatically graded without feedback on what was right/wrong. Only interaction is passive aggressive weekly mass emails reminding of due dates.
Please don't take her. Anatomy and physiology is a class that has so much information and it's not taught by her at all. The assignments, tests, and quizzes aren't even graded by her, but by the platforms she uses. She is not helpful when asked for advice. Will belittle you. Her TA's are helpful but not enough to fully understand the material.
I promise all of these negative are the truth. Online, she is terrible. She belittles you and won't directly answer any questions. She gives little insight on what the tests will cover other than them being multiple choice and T/F. I learned more from Quizlet and the TA's than Dr. Beg. She added our midterms onto the syllabus 2 weeks before. AWFUL!
Do the work and reach out if needed. Regardless this class isn't easy- you get what you put into it and she is very responsive if/when needed.
Do not take her. I understand that this course is difficult but she makes it almost impossible with her lack of care and her inability to teach her students! All she does is post hour long videos of a random Professor from YouTube. No PPT, no guidance on the exams, and when you ask for help she basically belittles you. Us students deserve better.
Uses HONORLOCK. Shes on a witch hunt for cheaters, but its ironic because she doesnt teach AT ALL- the only time we hear from her is when she sends sarcastic due date reminders. Belittles you when you email her. All her lectures are pulled from YouTube. The TAs run the practice zoom meetings. Worst class Ive ever taken at Valencia.
You're probably reading through these reviews thinking, "she can't be that bad, she has some good reviews" she is that bad, do not take her, you will learn NOTHING from her. I would bet my life on the fact that the recent good review was written by Dr. Beg herself. Don't do it. She does not tell you what to expect on exams and doesn't help.
I wish I could give a 0 rating she's that bad & really doesn't teach a thing. Her "modules" have no helpful info. Lab Midterms are HARD. Learn from these reviews and our mistakes and just don't take her. Please don't for your sanity and GPA
Professor is awful! She does not teach or try to help out her students at all. In fact, I think she finds it enjoyable to watch her students on HONORLOCK fail every test. When students tried to reach out to each other to form a study group to somehow pass, she immediately shut that down! I feel I'm owed my tuition back from the school.
I took a chance on Dr.Beg after reading some good reviews. She's not a bad teacher, her homework may seem a lot since there is no spacing between them but it is fairly easy, just requires a GOOD AMOUNT of time to complete.
Honor lock is a HUGE thing in her class,I can understand it being on a midterm or final but the fact that she has it on regular chapter exams is unacceptable and unfair to all students. The stress of this class outweighed anything and everything.
If you want a learning experience and actually want to learn then I would not recommend Dr.Beg as she does no live lectures nor makes any videos fully explaining concepts.
GO FIND ANOTHER PROFESSOR! She doesn't provide the necessary studying guides and piles on a bunch of repeated junk. The layout of her modules are a mess and needs to be fixed. If you score poorly on exams it will be hard to get back on good grading terms due to how low the common assignments are worth. Her recent ratings low for a reason.
Dr. Beg is first and foremost a Doctor, and is very knowledgeable as such. She knows what she's teaching, and you can learn a lot (and you will have to learn a lot in Anatomy and Physiology). The tests are hard and closed notes, but there are a plethora of other assignments that balance out the grades of those if you do bad. She's also funny.
Very knowledgeable. Organizational skills, especially on Canvas with a mixed-mode or online class, needs to be improved. Study Guides were simple. She was open to pushing back assignment due dates. Communication skills during lecture and conveying the material that will be on the exam could be more specific.
If taking a summer course, don't go full time. If taking during fall/spring, make sure your other classes don't require much brainpower. There are plenty of study materials, but you HAVE to study every day in order to pass this class. There are no shortcuts, but this is A&P.

Definitely would recommend at least going hybrid for labs and lectures. There are plenty of study materials, but you HAVE to study every day in order to pass this class. There are no shortcuts, but this is A&P.
Very aggressive and unhelpful, made me not want to participate in class. However, the content in this class was easy to learn and I feel the tests and assignments were fair so I'd only take the class again because I don't really care and it's easy. I took mixed mode.
Professor Beg was incredibly patient with me when trying to comprehend the subject. I feel as though if I studied more then I would have aced this class but she provided all the resources for me to be successful, would take the course again!!
I did not expect a professor that only reads pre-made power points from Connect. This course is test grade heavy and there are not many assignments that cushion those grades, so expect to do a lot of self-teaching because there are not many resources available on canvas to study from other than scattered zoom recordings and links to crash course.
To be best prepared for this class you should read the textbook and take good notes. Be ready to answer questions during lecture. Check canvas regularly for online assignments and anouncements. It may be helpful to set personal reminders to make sure that you don't miss any assignments.
I took this class which was supposed to be a lab... but in the 4 months of class we did lab twice. I am paying for a lab and getting a 2 hour and 45min lecture. She is rude to people and not caring. I would no recommend her at all. Also the times we have had lab she only provides 15 mins for them.

I do recommend studying as much as you can if you fail the exams your grade will suffer tremendously. Theirs almost no assignments to help improve your grade the majority of your points are from the exams. But overall great class.
Would recommend
Dr. Beg provides many resources to be successful in the class. Exams are weighted super heavy, so studying is a must!
Dr beg was a great teacher, she taught a lot during lectures and explained a lot which helped but sometimes speaking in class was uncomfortable due to it always being graded on what you said and did .
Expect at least 9 exams. (5 Unit Chapter exams, 2 Lab exams, and 2 Final Lecture CUMULATIVE exams. Mixed mode class so expect honorlock for this class. Kind of rude too but very intelligent.
Professor is very hard to understand, she moves through the chapters and subjects to fast. If your working, and going to school I don't recommend taking her classes. She is a one class only or someone who only goes to school.
Professor is very hard to understand with her heavy accent. She works through chapters fast. If taking A&P with her I recommend this being the only course if your working full time because you will teach yourself most of the work.lectures &tests don't match. All test and exams are taken in the classroom with her watching you.very tough professor.
In order to pass this class, you need to read all of the material before and after the class, redo the McGraw Hill quizzes as some of the questions do come on the exam. There are 5 Unit exams, 2 Lab exams and 2 optional cumulative exams at the end of the semester. She might give extra credit at the end of the year.
Dr.Beg is a great teacher! I knew I was going to have to do lots of studying outside of class because there is so much material and the class was mixed mode. She can be a tough grader, but she only wants you to succeed. The class itself is very difficult, not her. If you don't have time to dedicate to this class, medicine isn't right for you.
The class on its own is very difficult. This course requires a lot of memorization and it can be difficult to keep up. Studying is REQUIRED in order to pass the course, which means reading the textbook, listening to the lectures, taking the quizzes on Connect, Crash Course videos, etc. are all components of the key to success in this class.
Dr. Beg is extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and energetic. I highly recommend this course and its professor.
Dr. Beg is extremely knowledgeable, approachable, and energetic. I highly recommend this course.
Professor is very knowledgeable but you have to study and read and keep up with the coursework. The exams and material are hard in general and there is a lot of information to memorize and know. Use the study materials she provides.
Dr. Beg is an amazing woman! She takes her time to ensure students participate in order to understand the materials for each chapter. All the quizzes and tests are super easy as long as you study. I will definitely be taking her for a different course again
Dr. Beeg is an amazing professor who was an actual doctor by profession. The course follows the textbook strictly but her lectures are inspirational and informative.
Good Professor if already had a strong background in biology, go super fast through chapters, have to do a lot on your own. Teaching style not preferred. Sometimes she doesn't understand what we ask her. have to ask again and maybe she'll answer you correctly if understood. I never had e problem with other professors about this.
I took a hybrid class(online/in-person) with Professor Beg, and though her lecture portion of the class was engaging and interesting, my success when it came to exams was from practice exams in Connect and questions from the textbook. I would recommend this professor if you want strong fundamentals in AP- Great sense of humor and kind overall.

I would describe Dr. Beg as unorganized and unprofessional, yet caring. What frustrated me most was her assigning homework with 5 minutes left of class. She was understanding in some ways, like excusing some assignments when I had an emergency and giving a few extra credit assignments at the end to help me get back on track. Fun dissections though!
It was clear that the professor is very smart, but the lecture slides were overwhelming, so be prepared to take lots of notes and study because the tests are pretty difficult. I took a mixed mode course, so if you do mixed mode, highly recommend trying your best not to miss class because you will be confused on what to do.
Professor Beg is an amazing professor. She helps us through a lot and she is very understanding. Her lectures are fun and enjoyable, she is very respectful and caring. She helps us to understand better the lecture by giving us group projects and different lectures.
professor Beg was one of the best professors I had so far, she is very caring and understanding. She helped me with everything that I needed and she taught us in various ways.
The professor is a doctor, so she was able to answer medical questions that students had for her which was interesting. She is friendly and has a good sense of humor. Class participation is expected but students are made to feel as comfortable as possible when engaging in class.
Class participation was expected but she made everyone feel as comfortable as possible. She is nice and has a good sense of humor. She is able to answer medical questions because she is a doctor.
Professor Beg is awesome, she explains everything the best she can and will continue to until you understand.I would take it again.
Although the professor may have a thicker accent it is not easy to understand so lecturing can be difficult, she was a good professor charavterwise
The class is straight to the point. We use My Lab and Connect. There's one day of lecture and another day for lab. In lectures, you learn more than what's in the PowerPoint. She grades participation so make sure to raise your hand. Tests are difficult if you don't study. If she knows you care about the class she'll help you. 10/10 professor.
Dr. Beg is very knowledgeable about the material. Every class participation is graded and also makes the class fun. Overall very good professor.
Dr. Beg is a great and knowledgeable professor. This is my 3rd time taking A&P I and she made me wish I had her the first time!!! Beware though if you can't take sarcasm do not take her class. She is very witty, and she likes for her students to be as well, it does make the class less stressful. She will help you; you just have to ask!!!
Dr. Beg knows what she's talking about. Will help you but you have to show that you care about your grade. She wants to see all her students succeed in life! This A&P so be prepared to work, it's not an easy subject but she tries her best to make it so. Be prepared to laugh and learn. Wish she taught A&P 2.
She is a good professor, I had her for mixed mode if I took this class fully in person I feel as if I would've learned more. If doing mixed mode you will have to teach yourself and she has a pretty heavy accent so keep that in mind incase you don't do well with that. LOTS of independent learning outside of class, not much is taught in class
She is a good professor I took her mixed mode if I did fully in person I would've done better. You will do LOTS of independent learning outside of class being that you don't learn much in class she has a pretty thick accent so keep that in mind. If you are okay with teaching yourself outside of class take her she has an amazing personality
The professor was very good, lectures every Monday and labs on Wednesday with review notes each class. about every 2 weeks there is a test on chapters read. honor lock only for the final everything prior to that is face-to-face. highly recommend this professor.
This professor is over all nice and wants us to understand the material as much as possible. This class alone has so much information in its criteria that its a hard class but professor Beg tries to find way to help us learn as much as possible. A good amount of work not too crazy. One tip is don't procrastinate and study study study for the test.
Outstanding professor!
The professor is very smart, but the lecture slides were overwhelming, so be prepared to take lots of notes and study because the tests are pretty difficult. I took a mixed mode course, so if you do mixed mode, highly recommend trying your best not to miss class because you will be confused on what to do.
I took this course in a mixed mode. Make sure to study the quizzes before the exams a lot of the questions come from there. I wouldn't recommend taking this course if you are working part-time and are a full time student because this course requires lots of studying and memorization.
Amazing Professor! Just do your assignments and reading each week and you wont struggle.
Pretty good teacher overall, but sometimes she has an issue with communication.
Professor Beg really makes sure that her students learn from her lectures. If you stay on top of the assignments you will do good. In this class we use MyLab Mastering & McGraw Hill Connect. I'm a tangible learner, so I bought the paper version of the Lab Manual. She makes it mandatory for you to be in class, but it will help you in the end!
Professor always gives study guides for each subject and discuss subject in class before exam. She also gives extra credit.
The professor made the class very fun and interactive for me and my peers. I would take Dr. Beg again if i could.
Dr. Beg will forever be the most respected and intelligent professor I've had the honor to be taught by. She answers your questions even if they're silly with no judgement or hesitation. If you master the different websites required for the course, have 3-4 hours a week to study and show up 90% of the time youll be fine!
This class was amazing. Dr.Beg is truly hilarious and will work with you if you do your part and show that you care about the class. As long as you participate and show interest this class will be a breeze. Anatomy is a lot of material so regardless of the teacher you have to put in effort to receive good grades and a great class experience.
This has to be my favorite teacher ever. Yes the class is tough but her teaching style feels like your'e with family.
This class is mainly self taught but the resources on canvas are helpful you just have to know that you need use them especially the study guides.
Professor Beg, is the best of the best. She is always there for you whenever you need help understanding the concept. She's not a tough grader what's so ever. I'm glad I had her for my professor, wish she can teach other courses.
Professor Beg was the best professor I have ever had in college. She was super funny and made learning fun. She really cares about her students and wants the best for them. She answers emails very quickly and is super understanding. You learn a lot in this class you just have to pay attention and attend class. Take this Class!!

She is quick with answering emails is super understanding. I learned a lot in this class just by paying attention and attending class. Take this Class!!
This professor provided a lot of resources so we could do well. She went over the powerpoints and we did class discussions for a grade. There are a lot of exams but if you study the quizzes, it really helps. We did 2 dissections which were fun. A lot of it is self taught so be ready to study a lot.
Dr. Beg was a great teacher for A&P. Incredibly knowledgable, kind, and funny. She kept the long lectures entertaining with a good balance of Q&A portions. She made it easy for everyone to participate and had many class projects that were very fun!
This is honestly the worst professor I have ever had. She didn't teach at all. She told us stories for 1/2 the time in class that went completely off tangent. She would make us come to class prepared to give answers to questions she didn't teach us about. She made us teach ourselves then told us we were a disappointment if we didn't know the answer
This is honestly the worst professor I have ever had. She didn't teach at all. I had to teach myself the whole time.
Professor Beg is okay.... that being said she might be one of the best professors because the rest are terrible. She can get a little too distracted sometimes and off topic but she means well. It is hard but doable. The class itself is very intense and involves you needing to really set time to study. But passable! As I am passing!
Professor Beg was an okay professor. Attendances is mandatory but we will get taught nothing, She would expect us to know everything if she answered and when she did go over material she would run through. Her Exams are easy which have to be taking in the class and you cant retake if you miss it.

Lots of Lectures, must study a lot to pass
The professor expects you to know everything so you'll have to do lots of reading and studying. It is not an easy class, but the test are quite easy. She also falls off track easily but she is friendly and quite funny.
I think professor Beg is very knowledgeable and I think she is relatively forgiving and accommodating and an overall good person. I struggled with her lecturing technique, it was unorganized. She lectures based off memory so she kind of just picks up wherever she remembers. The information that I did learn from her lectures wasn't even on the tests.

Dr. Beg is an amazing professor to take for A&P 1! She is very understanding and really tries her best to get you to succeed. The course load is difficult and a lot at once but you will need to put in time preparing notes before class. She does a lot of Q&A activities, so participation matters and is appreciated. I will be taking her for A&P 2!
She is a very nice professor however the class is very hard. She is a tough grader but it is easy to make up points during exams. Attendance is mandatory but its only once a week.
I wish I could give more detail but there is a cap on how long these are. EVERYONE who teaches A&P is difficult. This has a lot to do with how Valencia teaches these classes. She means well but you won't pass this class if you aren't studying every single day at home. I watched almost half of our class drop out. This class had me in tears. Be ready
I enjoyed Professor Beg's class, especially the labs. The dissections were cool, do not be squeamish. Participation matters and attendance. I studied everyday and could answer questions, but still did not do so well on the exams. They are very specific to certain things, way more physiology. I am passing, but would love to be doing better.
Dr. Beg wants you to succeed. her tests are hard but the lectures are fun, and participation matters. go prepare for class since she asks questions and gives points for participating. labs are fun
You can easily pass the class with an A or B, as long as you stay on top of the course. The power points are very helpful, you will take 4 exams in class on your computer. She also grades on participation so be ready to speak up when she asks questions.
Dr. Beg cares about her students. Be ready to read and speak up when she asks questions because she will grade on participation.
Make sure to read your chapters ahead because you will need to answer questions for participation points. Her class was difficult, just make sure to stay ahead of your work and read the chapters and lectures to be prepared for the class. Overall, she is nice and wants people to succeed but this will not be an easy A.
The Professor is fairly nice though rarely lectures as you are expected to do a majority of the learning prior to class via the textbook, in preparation for class discussions. The labs are really insightful and the Professor reviews topics and ties them together during the labs so you can get a better visual understanding of how everything works.
Overall the class was very challenging and required a lot of time spent outside of class studying in preparation for class activities. You are expected to self teach and read the textbook to have a good understanding of topics prior to lecture times
Anatomy with any professor is difficult, just study and prepare for class by doing research and learning the material before your lectures
Dr. Beg makes the material easy, make sure to study from the pracitice quizes because most of the question are same as the exam. She grades participation so make sure to do not miss any class.
She was an amazing professor and made the class so much easier! She can be tough but she just wants the best for you. She pushes you to do your best and is very understanding in any situation. I would say just listen to what she says in the lectures and you'll be okay, the assignments are easy if you have the lab manual and textbook.
Good professor , works well , is very understanding.
The Professor is overall very nice and tries making class fun by making jokes. Participation is expected but the concepts are not hard if you do the work.
The Professor is overall very nice and understanding. The syllabus is a clear understanding of what is expected. Participation is expected but if you read the chapters and do the work the questions and concepts will be easy to understand.
Dr. Beg is extremely knowledgeable and uses humor to connect with her students. She highly encourages class participation and values an active learning approach to keep her students involved in the class. Overall A&P is an extremely difficult course as the depth of the material covered is vast. I will be taking A&P II with her as well.
I enjoyed taking A&P with Dr. Beg. It is clear that she cares about her students and puts effort into creating an environment that encourages active learning and class participation. If you keep up with the textbook material and chapter quizzes, the exams are straight forward. I will be taking A&P II with her also!
Sameena Beg was an amazing teacher! I learned a lot from her. I had a great experience with this class.
Very funny! I took her morning class from 8am-11:45am, and her humor and the fun in-class activities really helped everyone get through such a long class. It is a very rigorous course, but she is very upfront about this. There are lots of assignments, which I personally prefer, so definitely be prepared.
Professor Sameena Beg requires you to do your own research on the content before class and discussions will consist of what pops up in her head. The exams are in class and none of the material covered in class is on the exam. This is a very heavy self-taught class.
Dr. Beg, is an excellent lecturer. In her teaching, she incorporates her very own experience as it relates to a topic we study in class. Reading and participation are some of the few requirements in her class. Also, to note Dr. Beg has a very vibrant spirit, so class will always be fun!
A great class overall taught me a lot but be careful might have a test everyday
Mrs. Beg is great teacher who really cares about the content she is teaching. Mrs.Beg has very great and informative lectures. She also provides relevant experiences to her lectures which helps that much more! Overall Mrs.Beg is a great professor that you wont regret taking.
I do believe the labs are very fun and interesting. Tests were fairly simple. There was one thing I questioned when being taught in class as I have the disability myself and she had given the wrong information about it in class but that also could be cause we have to go off of books etc. Overall I really enjoyed the class.
Professor Beg is a good professor her lectures are very in-depth so be sure to prepare for the lecture beforehand. She does have an accent but is very good at further explaining if you do not understand. If you do plan on taking her class the textbook is mandatory.
The professor was quite good. The course work she gave was manageable and the test were quie difficult, but that is what college is all about. I enjoyed the labs that we had to do.
Professor Begs is a great professor she does a lot of lectures so attendance matters. She does team-building exercises so you will have to interact with your classmates. Be sure to study and read each chapter carefully.
This is a Hard class and the work is challenging and the tests are difficult But if you study hard and pay attention in class you can get through it
This class was not hard, but you need to be prepared to answer questions in class and possibly teach other students something you learned. The quizzes were online and the tests were in class. The most difficult part of the class were taking some exams back to back and how particular she can be when it comes to detail.
A&P is overall a difficult class but be prepared to teach yourself a lot of the material to prepare for in class lecture. Dr Beg is overall understanding in cases and will provide extra credit.
I loved this course, and never missed a class. The professor made most lectures/class meetings at least slightly interesting. I genuinely learned most topics presented in this course, and Dr. S Beg contributed a lot towards my learning. Additionally, this is a very homework and reading heavy class, but easy to pass.
This class was not hard, but you need to be prepared to answer questions in class and teach other students information you have learned. The quizzes were online and the exams were taken in class. The most difficult parts of the class were taking some exams back to back and how particular to detail she can be when grading assignments.
This class is hard but she is very kind and I didn't drop it.
Just do the work and ask questions, and you will be okay.
She is great.
Dr. Beg's class is exceptional - engaging, participative, and dynamic. Active participation is crucial for success, and the practice of reviewing quizzes before exams is immensely helpful. Dr. Beg's clear explanations make complex topics accessible and enjoyable, making her class highly recommended.
Dr. Beg, has an interactive teaching style. She requires participation from her students. Also, be prepared to be an avid reader and an intricate thinker. Great Class!
Participation in class discussions is important so make sure you at least read and take notes on the textbook before class. You have to participate in class discussions for points. All exams, most quizzes, and all class discussions are based on the textbook. She is picky about assignments, so be sure you read the instructions carefully.
This class is a tough class but Dr. Beg is a very great professor. She has her lectures in class and every few weeks you'll have an exam on Mcgrawhill in class. There is about 6 to 7 homework assignments a week. This class requires you to study a lot so you have to keep up. The only thing is that her canvas is disorganized.
Very good professor she was super caring and very understanding when it came to grading and assignments. Her class is super interactive so you wont be bored to death. Attendance is once a week and the rest of your weeks free time can be spent doing homework for next class.
I really like how Professor Beg uses humor to guide a discussion towards a goal. I also like how she allows all members of the discussion to attempt a question in its fullness before giving the answer.
She made the class interesting, be sure to attend class every assigned day. Everything is online, including Work except for your assigned day. She was pretty funny but hard to understand at times.
She gives us extra credit to give her a good review at the end of the semester. Don't listen to these ratings, she is actually the worst professor I have ever had. I regret listening to these ratings. Save yourself! Take literally anyone else.
This class will take a lot of reading and lectures are not all the time given by profesor.
Professor Beg knows that if she didn't give us extra credit to rate her on this, she would have 0 stars. Worst professor EVER, needs to be fired. My whole class agrees, and we all regret listening to these reviews. SAVE YOURSELF!
She was okay. Just get ready to teach yourself everything
Good
its amazing
I took Prof Beg AP 1& 2. These bad reviews are exaggerated. This course is lecture/study heavy. She gives lectures based on w topics on the exams. The exams are in person no Honorlock. She doesn't use videos for lectures (knows the info). She cares though, a little unorganized but tries her best. You can learn/pass if you put your part.
She is very stubborn and is constantly changing what she is saying in class. She pronounces most of the words wrong. She is very lecture heavy but not in enough detail where it makes sense. Do not take this class!!! Professor starts arguments with students over little petty things. Treats the students in class like they are children.
students are harsh with this professor, take it lightly. canvas can be a little unorganized, but she really knows her stuff, she does care about your success. doesn't care much for why you miss class, try not to, it's important to get a grade for participation. you will have to teach yourself A Lot but Do ask for help. exams are hard and randomized
I had to drop this class because I couldn't get past all the distractions, shaming/praising and the confusing canvas set up. There are many resources but it was hard to know what was really important vs what was extra help. You can tell she is smart as hell and has sooooooooo much good information but not great at conveying it.
Attendance isn't necessarily mandatory, but she does participation grades. Her classes consist mostly of lectures and maybe a lab. I would not recommend this professor to someone that is wanting to learn A&P. You have to teach yourself everything and come to class prepared. She will call on you if she notices you don't participate enough.
Professor Beg's class is challenging but rewarding. The lectures are informative, and she uses humor to engage students. Make sure to stay on top of the readings and attend class regularly. Unstuckstudy AI was a lifesaver for preparing for the exams. Overall, a tough but worthwhile course.
Very unorganized, she would send out the powerpoints and lectures the night BEFORE class (started at 8am). She criticizes students and makes people feel stupid. I would say more but there is a character limit. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!
Mixed mode class. Attendance is mandatory to receive attendance, participation and assignment grade. If you miss more than two classes you get a zero for grade. Lectures for full class time. Dissections and group activities. Tests are taken in class on personal computer. Lab book, Pearson, and connect are mandatory. Demanding but learned a lot.
Dr. Sameena Beg was an ok teacher in general. She takes a while to answer emails and sometimes her answers aren't helpful at all. Assignments are very repetitive and depend a lot on the labs and reading the textbook. Her grading system is a little weird and inconsistent. she offers multiple extra credit opportunities so the class is easily passible
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. The professor was essentially absent besides when I had to reach out to the president of the science department and the Dean begging for help. Doesn't grade anything until the last week. The information she gives has no relevancy to her exams. She will unlock assignments on a Saturday to be due the following day. DO NOT TAKE
Short answer: don't take this class. She made us cram all of these chapters in during the summer, then sit for the last two weeks and had no assignments. The material could have been spread out, so it was digested more easily. Everything is powerpoints, reading, and YouTube videos that she links in the modules. The textbook is absolutely terrible.
