Awsome! and Helpful alot
He's a great algebra teacher!
He is one of the best algebra professors i have ever encountered. If you are willing to work, he is willing to help you. He will ensure that you pass the class. I will definitely take him again. And if he teaches until i get mt degree i will definitely pass math in flying colours
I'll never forget him. He changed my life. He's the best teacher ever. I think he should get a raise.
This teacher was not helpful at all, he wasn't even going to call me to let me know that i needed to retake a test. He was just going to let me fail....i would NOT take this teacher ever again.
I had to drop his class because he never explained anything. By the time I got the problem writen down, he had it done on the board! It was VERY annoying & I was falling behind. Take Ms. Sibol's class instead. She is great.
Best teacher ever!!! Dr. K totally prepares his students for the final exam. Some people may have a problem keeping up but if you ask him to slow it down, he does willingly. Very funny guy. I am taking him again for Int. Alg. and if he teaches college level, you can bet your A$$ I'm gonna take that class! What a cutie pie!
He is am awsome teacher and he doesnt have to call you and tell you that you need to retake an exam cause guess what your in fricken college now so time to grow up and take care of yourself.
He is am awsome teacher and he doesnt have to call you and tell you that you need to retake an exam cause guess what your in fricken college now so time to grow up and take care of yourself.
HE IS A VERRY GOOD TEACHER.
very helpful...would love to take agian
Best teacher I've had in college so far. I hate math and did really bad in high school but Iv'e taken all my math classes with him and made an A in all of them. He's a really funny guy and makes math easy to swallow. I wouldn't take anybody else for math.
Excellent professor. Do you homework and ask questions
Great teacher! It's a prep class, so if you just go to class, do the work, you will get an A. He's very good at explaining things in terms that you will understand.
A very nice man outside of class, but Mr. Kadamani is not the person I would take over again if I could go back and redo this class. This guy gets very impatient, he seems really overworked and stressed out, and he was late a lot. If you struggle in math, SERIOUSLY, TAKE MS. SIBOL for prep math classes.
Mr. Kadamani honestly is not a very good teacher and half my class ended up dropping out, HOWEVER I think it may have just been this semester because I have only heard good things about him and he made up for it by giving take home tests and curving people's grades who showed they were trying.

HORRIBLE!! Just withdrew on 10/30, which I had never in 2 years done. He does not give outlines before exams and it took him 4 weeks to return 2 exams. He is very cocky therefore most people were intimidated to ask questions. He was teaching 6 classes this semester. Huge load for him and for us.
acts like a jerk every time you get an answer wrong, yet he wonders why no one raises their hand in class.
not really helpful, no extra credit, no nothing
Worst Teacher ever! He does not help you at all. He makes you feel stupid if you ask a question. He didnt return back tests untill after drop out date.He does not review for tests. He was late to class every day and made us stay late. DO NOT TAKE HIM!
Kadamani has a good heart! He is very helpful if you are interested in learning. He teaches step by step making it easier to understand. Not for someone wanting an easy A.
Doesnt keep grade in book, always late on grading and returning tests. Flys throught the material and doesnt accept questions without making you feel like an idiot.
Good Professor. Make sure to keep up with your homework and to memorize all formulas he tells you to! He gives bonus points for all tests!
Outstanding teacher. Previously had failed algebra, earned a B largely in part to the way he shows everything step by step and uses real world terms. Some may consider some aspects of the class strict, but it is exactly what I would expect of a college professor. Definitely the best instructor I have had at HCC. Expect to work but EARN a good grade.
He is always late to class, and he is very condescinding to anyone who asks too many questions. If you don't require much teaching, just reminding then he is your guy. He does not go by the departments rules too much. So that part is nice. He is not as concerned about the homework as most.
needs to chage the way he teaches. doesn't help just tells you what to do. some students felt scared to ask questions
Do not take him you should just go flush your money down the toliet right now. Always late. Doesnt give notes, just puts problems on board. Doesnt review. Makes you feel dumb. Can barely understand his accent. Why is he even teaching?
Good Teacher if you always pay attention. If your not good at math I wouldnt recommend taking him. Not a good teacher to ask alot of questions to. Awesome teacher if your a good math student
Pretty good teacher. I HATE algebra and did very well. People may be scared to ask questions, but ask away. He's very helpful and will explain if you ask without making you feel stupid. Has a sense of humor below the surface but I think he's afraid to let it go. Definitely have to do the homework and earn your grade, but if I can do it...
HORRIBLE teacher... DO NOT TAKE!
This teacher is ok if you are a good independent learner. He isn't real tolerant in class, however, I think that is attributed more to his cultural background and how his sense of humor is perceived. He can come across as very condescending which does not make the atmosphere conducive to asking questions. I bet he's pretty funny outside of class.
THE WORST TEACHER EVER! you basically have to teach everything to yourself! Do not take him, because it will be a waste of money!!!
Im not sure why he is still teaching @ HCC. You can barely understand his accent. He makes you feel stupid when you ask questions. The class was full in the beginning of the semester, only 10 people made it to the final and only a few actually passed. Sorry excuse for a professor.
Great teacher if you respect and talk to him after class. he will help you with everything. everyone that says he is bad is just lazy and scared to ask questions. just go to class and study a little bit.
Dr. K is an AWESOME professor. You will have to do the work in his class. This is not an easy A. He is always willing to help his students!!! He also makes sure everyone understands or has any questions before he moves on to the next section. It is not his fault if ppl don't speak up.
I thought Mr. Kadamani was GREAT!!! I made an A in his class. His bark is so much worse than his bite. He can be a little abbrasive, but I really believe that's because of his culture. He was a great professor to me. He understood the math and taught it to me so that I clearly understood. You just have to do your work.
He's ok, jokes around a lot. Passed with a B because I didn't try, but yeah PASS! If you do your homework, you will be fine..(Homework is Online BTW, no bookwork) :)
I would not recommend him to anyone. If you want a teacher that you can barely understand and makes you feel stupid then by all means take his class. It is very fast paced. If you ask him a question he will make you feel stupid!
he is awful do not take calculus with him.. impossible to do well. i am good at math and he never gave the grade i deserved. put stuff on the test that you have never seen before.
Mr kadamani is not that hard of a teacher. He explains very well and tests are off the homework
omg he is the worst teacher eaver..the only positive about him is that he bascailly tells you whats on the tests. there is a lot a lot of homework online, and its graded. i could barley even understand what he was saying..worst teacher ever!!
All hw is online. He seems really dull while he is teaching. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT, take this class if you are the type of student that likes to asks questions or make comments, he WILL make you feel completely stupid. I am only doing well in this class because I have always been good at math. Overall, he isn't too bad, but about him if u can
All hw is online. He seems really dull while he is teaching. I am only doing well in this class because I have always been good at math. Overall, he isn't too bad, but avoid him if u can
He is an alright professor. He knows what he is talking about, and can help you. But if you ask a question that he thinks is obvious he embarrasses you. He can be pretty funny. Homework is done online, and tests are kind of hard. I would not recommend him.
Worst Professor ever! Makes fun of students who have questions. Talks to you in a demeaning way. Wants you to fail. Horrible communicator!!
As an engineer, you are required to understand the fundamentals of mathematics. Most students think math is an easy subject, if you want to be the best at what you do, you have to learn it from the best there is. Dr. Kadamani, knows it all and he might be harsh in the face of mediocrity, only to make u better!! Not everyone can understand that!!
His class is very demanding, but will force you to work hard and understand the material which will prepare you for upper-level classes later. Worth the extra work to actually learn the material. He is EXTREMELY picky with how you show your work and format your answer on a test. For the final he used questions from the other exams so it was easy
Best professor everrr. Helps alot. Very smart and answers any questions you have. Tests are hard but if you listen to everything he tells you to study then you won't have any problems.
Although he is nice, he has a thick accent which is difficult to understand and he has a hard time understanding questions from his students. He also doesn't like you to ask question even one step ahead of his lesson as he will say "I know nothing about this" Also he has a strict no calculator policy. So far the class is easy at least for me it is.
He is a great teacher, yess he doesn't like for you to get ahead but it is so you do not get confused. He is very helpful, yes he does have an accent but if you listen more than talk you will understand him.
WORST TEACHER EVER..CHECK OUT HIS RATING IN THE TAMPA CAMPUS AND YOU WILL SEE NOTHING BUT 49 BAD REVIEWS ON THIS GUY! WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT HIM SOONER BECAUSE I NEVER WOULD HAVE TAKEN HIS CLASS.
At first I was nervous because I could barely understand him, but then I realized that he is such a great teacher. He uses examples from the book in every class and explains them slowly with full detail. His class was never boring either, he made math easy to understand and the concept fun. I would definitely recommend taking any of his classes.
Easy course if you pay attention. He goes over a lot of practice problems and will help out if you need it.
This guy literally does not care about you. He gives pre tests on things before he teaches them and even if you get an answer right if he doesn't like your scratch work he will take off almost all the points for your answer. Avoid at all costs.
WOREST TEACHER EVER !! IF YOUR NEW STUDENT AT HCC.THAT MEANS THIS WILL BE FIRST FAILING GRADE IN COLLEGE I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START WITH .. HE HAS PROBLEM !
HE IS A TERRIBLE TEACHER. JUST DOES EXAMPLES OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND MAKES YOU SOUND STUPID AND LOOK STUPID WHEN YOU TRY AND ASK A QUESTION.
Terrible. Hard to understand. Gives lots of Mymathlab homework yet none of what is on the homework is on the tests. He has very dry humor and no toleration if you work full time or for any other emergency that requires u to miss a class..No make up work if said emergency causes you to miss class.
He is my professor for Pre-Alg this semester and I love him! He is funny and thorough. If anyones fails his class it's because they didn't try. He demands personal responsibility from every student. I will sign up for him for EVERY math class I take since he teaches all the way up to calculus.Don't skip out on classes and rate your professor poorly
DO NOT TAKE! Worst class ever. Makes you feel stupid.
Honestly i was a bit intimidated when i walked into class the first time! However, after the second class I was fine. Dr Kadamani is a great teacher, hes very funny and entertaining, and he knows what hes talking about. He teaches you everything you need to know, and as long as you do the homework, study, and pay attention to him you will succeed.
Have had him as a professor twice now, both precalc and trig. His test are far harder than the homework or quizzes; however, he does teach everything needed and if you aren't afraid to ask him for help he will work any question you have on the board. His sense of humor sometimes comes off as rude but he means no harm by it. Overall a good teacher.
One of the worst teachers ever.He dosent explain anything, and if you ask question he will make you look stupid front of the entire class.
He is a good guy, but a poor instructor. Per a comment above, I have put in a serious amount of time and effort in this class and may possibly fail., as an A-B student, and even get tutoring at the MATH center on campus. I don't think it's fair that he grades us on read-ahead quizzes,
This teacher is hard but I don't expect him to baby feed you. I failed because I wasn't trying my utmost.
Don't ask questions he makes you feel stupid. Got more help from the computer program than I did him. Got an A but not because of him.
No!No!No! Do NOT take him. Yes, he may mean well, but is horrible at instruction and belittles you in the class if you ask a question. I'm an A-B student and despite having tutors, and may possibly fail. He makes you learn on your own, if you can do that then this class is for you. If math isn't your subject, find another who will actually TEACH
Worst Professor ever!
Great Professor!! He has a very dry sense of humor. If you're very sensitive, get over it. For anyone that is genuinely serious about doing well in school and succeeding in college, Dr Kadamani is EXCELLENT!! COLLEGE is for people who are serious and want to succeed, it's not for whiners and complainers. If you're going to do that, STAY HOME!
Very difficult class if you are not good at math. Expect to teach yourself, all the good comments must be from people who are naturally good at math. Good for you. I spent hours in the math center for help. Good luck if you chose to take him.
Professor Kadamani is a little hard to understand some times, and is not the best math teacher at HCC. But over all, it was decent class. I don't think I would recommend him to person with week math skills.
This teacher should be avoided. He is very sarcastic with everything he says. If you ask a question he will make you feel and look dumb in front of the whole class. He is one the worst you can have. Do not take him.
a nice professor. has a very thick accent i didnt have any trouble understanding him but some do. tests are EXTREMELY difficult compared to HW. does not TEACH be prepared to teach the material to yourself! good luck if you take him you will need it!
Dry sense of humor and soooo funny. thorough in explaining concepts and emphasizes important vocabulary as he works out problems. He won't work with you unless you are committed to the course. In a college setting, you should be committed to your education instead of trying to get an easy A. I got an A and so did others. The lazy ones bombed
IF YOU STRUGGLE AT ALL IN MATH PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER, EVEN THOUGH HE TRIES IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HE TRIES TO EXPLAIN.
i dont understand why everyone else here has a problem with him, if i dont understand something,i ask. yes he is sarcastic but thats him.yes he does have an accent but you can still understand him clearly. people who FAIL THIS CLASS is because you dont ask for help or you dont pay attention/do your home work.i love his class and will take him again
He has an accent, but nothing I have had problems with, coming from a person who struggles understanding them. I found his class easily explained, he works with the books & projector so it's hard to get lost. He is a very sarcastic person, he clearly has his good days and bad but he is a great teacher.
I took college algebra with Kadamani. I'm a straight A student but every time I asked this guy a question, he would sarcastically tell me that if I payed attention better, I wouldn't have to ask. I would not recommend this class to anyone except math geniuses who can teach themselves. I'm no math genius, but I taught myself in this class.
His class was very easy. Study and you'll definitely pass. He's also funny too.
Kadamani was very hard to understand for me due to his thick accent. He moved extremely quickly and made fun of you if you had a question. You may get by if you're good with math but I had to drop this class. Please think twice about choosing this professor.
Great instructor! He offers many different ways to learn to accommodate different learning styles, and all it takes is a willin participate;it also takes someone w/mature ears, realize he's not your mom, and importantly Nonracial Ear(the only reason one would fail to understand him).He helps u by givin u confidence and showing you that you're smart!
Great
One of the best teachers I have had. Make sure you study, do all of the assignments, and keep a sense of humor when asking a question. Very funny if not taken to heart. Also, take extensive notes when he raises his voice, and try not to chat too much. My only concern is he doesn't use blackboard.
Great teacher. Does have accent but not too hard to understand. Took him for trig and goin to for precalc. Math was somewhat hard (most people dropped out) he has a sense of humor but doesn't mean it rudely (he always says he knows nothing about the subject for example) but his ways of explaining are great. Doesn't take anything late but he's great
Great teacher, If you're not strong in math I would suggest taking a "pass all" teacher. In my opinion his teaching approach it to prepare higher level math students for more advanced math in the future. However, his teaching style is great and there's a lot of work (which I liked) to reinforce the material.Take him if you enjoy math.Best teacher
Extremely hard to understand, due to his accent. He does not explain things well enough so that you will be successful while doing homework or taking a test.
A brilliant professor that cares about students' success. I had him for College Algebra and Pre-Calculus. Be prepared to work and apply yourself. Your grade will depend on how much time and effort you put towards the class. His accent took a little bit of time to get used to, but after one class I was able to understand him perfectly. Some sarcasm.
Super hard teacher. I was constantly in the math lab teaching myself the information. He can appear cold, sarcastic, or slightly mean when asked for clarification on the material. My class started out with 25, and ended at about 9. BEWARE.
He is rude. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. He doesn't explain anything well at all and moves very quickly. If you have a question he will make fun of you and 'explain it' even then I still wouldn't understand. I am in the math lab for 6 hours every week trying to teach myself the material. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS. He is the worse professor I have had so far.
This guy does not care about how his students perform. He presses people in class for questions and when no one asks questions he makes off colored comments about peoples intelligence. When people do ask questions he works the problem then makes people feel stupid because they didnt know how to work the problem. Easily my worst professor ever.
If math is not your strongest subject, I would suggest not taking any of Kadamani's classes. He is a great professor for those that understand math easily. You will have to apply yourself and spend a lot of time outside of the classroom working. However, if you do the homework and come to class, you should be able to get a decent grade.
I am a straight A student and this class was a huge struggle. It's one of those that you'll be super excited to just pass the class. A downfall would be the reading assessments he makes you do for each homework lesson. They're kind of difficult and lower your homework grade. He's also sarcastic and rude and not big on respect at all.
Honestly this class with this professor was one of my favorites. Many felt he was disrespectful but in my opion he was not they were. And in order to receive respect you must give it. I enjoyed this class. It was thorough fun and specific
He acts as if the student should have already known everything discussed he is kind of a mean dude and the accent doesn't help also he does not explain the reasoning behind the way a problem should be solved NOT A GREAT PROFESSOR
Not a very good teacher. He ask if any body has any question, if you don't he gives you a rude response, if you do he will walk you through the problem and then make you feel like an idiot. His tests are really hard compared to the HW. Its math so expect lots of HW and expect to be teaching yourself the content.
He's really rude to the students and always has something sarcastic to say. I'm going to retake the class. He was horrible
Prof. Kadamani has a very strong accent so in class it is REALLY hard to understand him. If you are a student who is very good at teaching yourself take his class! If you are not, I would suggest you DO NOT take it whatsoever. You will ask him a question and he would give you an answer not even close to what it is suppose to be.
Professor Kadamani helps when you need it, but sometimes comes off rude when he does. He is really sarcastic and sometimes takes it too far. Online assignments and quizzes are easy, the exams are short but tough. His accent can interfere with his teaching.
He is a tough math teacher and expects you to know the material right after he explains it. Intimidates students!!! Makes you feel like you are dumb for asking clarification on something he just went over. Math is not an easy subject for many but he made it twice as difficult. You have to work hard for a good grade. If you can, take someone else!!!
Goes off on tangents about confusing things that have nothing to do with what we're learning, but my biggest problem is how frequently he messes up. Sure, people make mistakes, but he does this way too frequently, and math is a subject that can't take mistakes lightly. He rushes through lectures, with an almost indecipherable accent. Never again.
great teacher. helps you understand the material. best math professor.
amazing teacher if you show the effort he will help you out. understands what he is talking about.
His accent s so difficult to understand, he doesn't really teach he just shows you how to do one problem and then makes you do 20 examples after that on your own, he never lets you know when you have an assignment due (you're expected to refer to syllabus), he grades based on work shown on tests not just if you get the answer correct...
Class rocks dude, take it
Hard to understand due to an accent, doesn't like answering questions, lots of trick problems on the tests
Likes to insult students under his breath during lectures. Displays no sense of humor or wit. Worst Professor I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.
Rude, intimidating and contemptuous of his students. Class started with just over thirty students ended with less than ten. Questions on tests are often very different from anything that was covered in the many hours of homework (I spent about 8 hours a week teaching myself the material and doing the homework) Ridicules you if ask a question.
A lot of students may not like him, but a lot of people don't like whats best for them. Dr. Kadamani tells you to ask questions before he moves on to the next section. He stops the whole class to MAKE SURE you understand. His comments only go to show his students how serious they should take math. Also, his grading is extremely lenient.
He is by far the best math teacher I've had. He is super sassy and I just think he explains things in a way that works- for me at least. Test are not multiple choice credit, but you get for any work you did that is correct. Class is lecture notes with many examples, homework and quizzes on mymathlab. I would, and am taking his classes again.
He is the best Math Professor. Someone might mention about his accent, but it doesn't bother me at all. He is great. Definitely recommend. I did not get A because I did not study hard enough, it is not thing to do with him.
He always asks if you have any questions; don't be afraid to ask questions. His sense of humor is something some people may have to get use to; however, I thought he was hilarious.
Get ready to read because you're going to have to learn the course material on your own. His accent makes it hard to understand what he is saying plus he doesn't communicate clearly anyway. Belittles and makes fun of students in front of the entire class for asking questions or not understanding. Would not take again. But he is nice
Mr. Kadamani is an excellent professor. He knows the material inside and out and can explain concepts in different ways if you're struggling. That being said, his classes are definitely not for slackers or people trying to do as little work as possible. If you do well in his class it's because you put effort into learning the material and studying
Do not take his class. He had a thick accent that you can not understand a word being said through. If you ask him to repeat himself he will not. Also if you ask a question he literally makes fun of the student for asking. ( seen multiple girls cry ). He literally does not teach. He writes random numbers down but doesnt explain what he is doing.
Kadamani is great! I've taken him for all of my math classes at HCC. I think he is hilarious. Don't take him unless you are serious about your education and are ready to learn. He is not the teacher to try and skate by. If you show that you care and put forth effort, he will do whatever he can to help you. I wish he taught at USF as well!
Kadamani is an awesome professor! Math doesn't usually come easy for me, but he explained it so simple that it was easy to understand! His tests are exactly like the reviews he gives you in class, and he's always willing to help explain anything that you have difficulty understanding. He can be sarcastic, which offends some people but I loved him!
DR. Kadamani is an amazing professor. He cares about his students, if you have any questions or confusions he will always be there for you. He gives lots of extra credits. I think if you show up and do all the homeworks (mymathlab), you will get good grade. I strongly recommend you take him. He has an accent but you'll totally understand him.
Prof. Kadamani is very good. Took his summer course for 1107. Relies on mathlab, but if you do well on the 4 exams you don't have to take the final. Curves his tests.
Kadamani doesn't control the class. Big example is everyone was blurting out the answers instead of raising your hand and answering. It is disruptive especially when the answer is wrong and kadamani has little patience and continues on with the syllabus. Kadamani is slow in answering emails, it is late and we get penalized academically.
I never rated a professor but Mr. Kadamani was one of my best math teachers I ever had. As long as you show up, you'll pass. He throws out extra credit "Just because" (really to help us) and he makes math so understandable. Plus, MyMathLab helps a ton. I recommend him to all of my friends, he's a good guy.
Assumes you are fresh out of College Algebra and have every formula memorized and should know what he is teaching already. He fails to cover what is required to do all the homework and you end up teaching yourself 50% of the time. Class lost 1/2 the people after the 2nd test they were so hard. 15 hours a week studying as honor student.
Hes a very good teacher. Hes patient and kind. His accent is understandable. He likes participation. Alot of homework, but its to help you prepare for your tests. Come on guys were in college. The second test is hard and you have to learn alot of formulas, but its because hes not allowed to give them. He seems to do what he can and i appreciate him
He is very sarcastic and makes fun of students. Do not take his class if you struggle with math . I ended up dropping the class after the first three weeks .
He is a horrible professor. Tells everyone if they don't understand or need help to say something, then when they do he belittled them in front of the whole class. He doesn't really SHOW you how to do each problem, just makes you copy it off the board then send you on your merry way.
Horrible and terrible. Wont understand what he is saying, gives exams NON MULTIPLE CHOICE. Takes a lot of points off the test . He guesses on every example he explains on the board.
no communication. horrible.
He's difficult. You have to teach yourself if you don't understand. He does everything on the board and assumes everyone knows whats going on. Do your homework or you won't pass. He's very strict on showing your work or you will fail test. Good Luck
This guy will berate you if you come to class unprepared. I took my class online so I only had to go to his class for the midterm and final. The midterm is not multiple choice, very hard, but it seems like he gives a curve considering someone else got over a 100% on the midterm. Class was easy for me but if you struggle in math, avoid him.
He criticizes you for asking questions about the things you should already know before coming to my class. If I knew this stuff already, I wouldnt have to take his class! He sighs continuously in class like hes bored but still doesnt seem to get the message across to his students. Sarcastic and rude. Dont take his class unless youre a pro.
Disrespectful. Unprofessional. Constantly berates his students for wrong answers and will make an example out of you if you get a question wrong during lectures. He has no respect for his students and fails to actually teach the subject students are paying him for. If you've struggled with math your whole life like I have, then avoid at all costs.
I took this as an online course and I was basically my own teacher. The course is a math program that you have to complete before the end of the semester. Kadamani was more of a program moderator than a teacher. Some lectures showing how to solve problems, would have helped. First two tests are hand written and you have to show work.
Dr. Sami Kadamani is not helpful at all, any questions or concerns and he refers you back to the web course, which takes days. The web course doesn't provide any videos so good luck if your not good at math. He doesn't give feedback at all. This math course was the only course left to choose. I wish I had come here first before taking this class.
So this teacher I would say is the worst. He literally would not help when ever I asked questions. Everything I asked about the test on campus he would just say " Look at your syllabus" which was very annoying. I definitely would NOT take his class again or suggest you either. He also you makes you do your homework on a different site. IT's $150
He asks you to write out and explain basic function on test questions even though the test question does not required that much work to be put in. He turns 3 step questions into full page fill outs because he wants it all explained even though he doesnt explain it himself. Ive never been so infuriated before by a teacher. Skip this one if you can
Had him as a First Year Orientation 'Professor'(That word should be used on a GOOD teacher) and I Found out he is teaching math so let me leave this here, DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT PICK HIM - Not only does he not want to help you when you ask he gets snippy! he's always late and is always a mess!! he always steals others syllabuses and is egotistic!

Doesn't teach well at all. Is very degrading towards students when asking a question. Better off using mathlab and learning it that way. Expects you to learn things he doesn't teach and problems are way over complicated. Wants everything done "his way" and "show all work, I cant read minds" so it ends up being a full page long. No formulas given.
Professor Kadamani does not deserve the criticism found here. Yes, he has little comments at times about questions you may ask but if you get scared off or offended by that then you better bring your mom to the real world with you. The important thing is he aims to simplify things and will help those ask for it. Be a grown up and you'l do fine.
A terrible professor. When any student has a question, he responds with "you should have learned this in your prior classes". His teaching style is just grabbing one or two questions from a chapter, and poorly writing them on the dry erase board. Since the material isn't explained and he refuses to teach, you will end up teaching yourself.
First week of class I contacted him respectfully and professionally through email regarding a grading mistake HE made. Instead of alleviating the issue he responded condescendingly and insisted that he does not see how theres a mistake even though I provided a picture. Rather than helping hed rather argue. Dropping. It costs nothing to be nice.
For Professor Kadamani's course there were only two exams for the entire semester, so you need to make sure you are well prepared for both. But you are in luck here, this professor's study guides are very helpful for his exams! Make sure you complete every homework assignment because there is literally only two things to grade: homework and exams.
I was terrible at Math- I mean look at what class I was taking lol. I had no concept of Math and didn't understand basic fractions. This man was amazing and really took the time to teach and ensure students understood. He liked participation and gave a decent amount of homework. All in all he was great, kind of funny too
The course is well organized and professor Kadamani made it easy.
I was actively working through the course and because I didn't take a syllabus quiz, he withdrew me from the class. I was in the process of moving and didn't have access to my computer and I was not reviving alerts on my phone via email. He never emailed me back when I asked for a second chance and now I have to pay for the class again.
The work was easy, she gives really good notes and cares for her students. I would recommend if there isnt anyone better she is really good
He is very uninvolved from his online classes. Differential equations is a hard class but the fact that he only gives a few short examples videos through MyMathLab and the e-Text as resources is ridiculous. Avoid at all costs because my real teachers have been Lamar EDU online notes and the Organic Chemistry Tutor on YouTube.
Rude and oblivious.
Difficult material, poor lectures, exams were relatively easy to prepare for with specifically curated review homework that used the same types of problems. Has a very odd final policy and will not give extra credit if work is sent over 10 minutes after taking any exams.
Modules did not match text. Videos didn't make sense with the text provided. Didn't teach.
Easily the worst class I've taken. Entire class and tests through MyLab. Tests were ~10 questions: typed in/autograded/no partial credit. A single character could cost a letter grade. Gave no lectures or learning material and would not answer questions. Taught myself using the book and any information I could find online. Avoid at all costs.
This was the single worst math class I've ever taken. The class material wasn't even difficult, it was just formated and graded in the most obstinate and, honestly, annoying way possible. I simply cannot understand why you would teach a class this way. The other reviews were 100% right.
difficult to follow along, rude
He is a very interesting character. He was nice to me so that is why I gave him a 3. I would not recommend his class to other students though. He can be quite blunt and slightly rude. There is lots of homework and the tests can be difficult.
He is Unfair and lecture contraindicates what the book teaches. Hess the Worse Math teacher i had ever seen. Everyone is Lost in the Class room, I dont know where does the HHC Community hire these kind of teachers. And he offten offends and mocks our language and very BIBOLAR. You will be Very Stress i you take HIM....HIM...Very Bad Teacher. =-(
Worst professor yet. Minimal resources and no lectures. Material consists of nothing but book reading and two 1-10 minute videos of solving a problem for each chapter (they don't cover anywhere near majority of the content). Problems are arbitrarily hard. Can not be polite, ever. Math gatekeeper impressions, avoid his online class at all costs!
He can be very rude at times. Can also make side remarks or smart comments when asking a question. Has a very clear grading criteria. Tests are hard, 4 test, 1 final that can replace your lowest test score. Lots of homework due. But does alow you to take home the quizzes.
Absolute worst teacher ever in my life. Missing 1 question on tests can cost you a 1 letter grade. He doesn't really do anything in this course. If you take this class with him, make sure to prepare a lot for every test, maintain 100% averages for homework and quizzes if you are aiming for the A. He's not really forgiving when it comes to grades.
This professor was the worst I've ever had. He basically has no presence online and the only resources we had was a textbook and a couple of short videos per lesson. The syllabus is ambiguous and doesn't detail the grading policies. He's harsh with grades and doesn't care about the effort you put into the class. Do NOT take this class with him.
I have to say, I've encountered many bad professors during my time at HCC, but this professor takes the spot as being the worst. Unsurprisingly, the course was a copy-and-past template consisting entirely of MyLab material. Absolutely zero involvement whatsoever. Provided no feedback on tests and communication was subpar at best. Avoid at all costs
Professor doesn't do anything. Worst professor yet. Do not recommend taking the class.
I took Dr. Kadamani during the Fall 2024 semester, which had many hurdles due to the hurricanes, but he was very understanding and worked with me to ensure I had time for the exams. All tests require Honorlock, but I would not say they are too bad as long as you do the homework. When I reached out to him, he would reply within a day or two. 4/5
Professor Kadamani has to be the worst professor I have ever taken, there is little to no help outside of short 5-10 minute videos that skip over huge parts of the steps to solve the question and a text book. Tests are all Honorlock and very difficult, homework if done on your own without help, will probably take you 2-4 hours for one assignment.
His instructions on assignments are vague. He gives the same reply to every student when contacted. He shows no interest in the class nor students. There are few tests and are worth the majority of your grade. If you don't do well on the tests, it will be hard to get it back up regardless of how much homework you do. Do not take this professor.
Pearson is the teacher not the professor and fail one test you never getting it up lol, also I hate Pearson you miss a question by an atom you get it wrong even though its correct.
Pearson is used for every single assignment besides like 5 "projects." (You do the projects yourself, and he takes forever to grade them, and they're all 50 pts.) The professor only came online to remind you about upcoming tests every other week. Overall, easy, but you're practically teaching yourself.
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROF! As others have said before for his DE class he is really bad. He doesnt have any videos of him teaching anything. You are paying for the honor of buying and reading a textbook on your own! Pearson sucks and tests are through Honorlock. The questions on the tests are really long and if your off by even a bit you get it wrong
