Althought at times I got bored because the class was too easy for me, I realized it was better that way then the other way around. She will explain everything in baby steps so there is no getting lost. Her tests are about 20 questions and to the point, you either know it or not. I loved her class. I will take Statistics with her.

I just took MAC1105 during Fall 2013 term with Professor Fernandez.Challenging,knowledgeable, and helpful are the words to describe her. One of the greatest professors I've had. Math doesn't come easy to me, but Samia made everything so clear. She teaches step by step and answers every questions the students have. I took this professor because I am horrible at math. She made math simpler to understand, but you do have to give it your part for sure. She lets you use a calculator, notes on the test along with the practice exam. She likes participation. I would take her again as well as recommend her for students that struggle with math/ need a calculator.

Math for me has always been my biggest fear. I passed her class with an A. I never missed her class, did all my work. SHE IS THE BEST!

The best professor ever!!! You need to take her!!!! Don't regret it.

Very smooth professor

As someone who has a hard time in every math class I enter, Professor Fernandez was amazing. Her work is mostly in Pearson which you have until the end of the semester to finish, and none of her tests are proctored and on canvas. I had her online and would only join the zooms, no camera needed. This is definitely an EASY A CLASS I highly recommend

Professor Fernandez is great - she really cares and will work with you. The class is manageable if you put in the effort. unstuck study and the textbook are helpful study tools alongside her notes.

She is a very nice person; I really liked her. She is one of the most flexible teachers with deadlines I have ever seen. Her class is super easy; all the tests are online through my math lab at home. She really cares for her students. I will definitely take her for MAC1105.

Great profesor, does have a little bit of a strong accent but was able to understand. Gave a little bit of work and gives ALOT of time to do them. all test are on canvas and are not monitored but must do. she gives extra credit work. Was a (Online Course) i would def take her again was an easy "A" class just do the assignments and test!!!

Ngl i attended like 5 classes and still passed w a b after not doing a test. She doesnt care ab attendance but it is graded. She also offers extra credit and only has like 5 assignments but theyre kind of long one of them being like 60 questions

I really enjoyed taking this class with her. She is very easygoing, supportive, and makes the material simple to understand. The only strict requirements for passing are attendance and completing the homework. All of the tests were without proctoring, which made the course feel much less stressful.

Guys, I highly recommend to pick Samia Fernandez!She is amazing teacher!She is kind, she is not overwhelmed us, for whole semester we just did 6 homeworks!My suggestion, just present on each lesson, make your homework, and do tests!!And you will receive your high grade!
