I actually really enjoyed this professor. She is very helpful and really works with you to understand the material. This class was very challenging for me because there was a lot of material to cover. She uses a flipped class teaching style because that is what the school requires. Not because she chose to. Overall i would definitely recommend her

Learning the information for the course I took mainly came from reading the text yet Ms. Manjra used some useful techniques during the class lectures to engage the students in discussion and group activities that I felt helped in understanding and solidifying the knowledge. I would recommend her to anyone who is considering a course in accounting.

This class requires a lot of READING, so coming to class prepared is a big plus. Mrs. Samreen is so clear, nice and easy-going. She is there for help, you just need to ask. 3 mid-terms by her, 1 final by the department. You MUST participate in the lectures and DO HOMEWORK. My mates fall behind their grade so fast because of neglecting homeworks.

Professor Manjra is a great teacher. She keeps the class alive by getting the students involved in every lecture (and gives extra credit for it). Her tests can get tough but if you pay attention in class and do your homework, you'll have no problem. During classwork, she'll walk around to see how everyone individual is doing. Had her for both 101 & 102. It's a hard class with a lot of work, but she really does care about the success of her students. If I can pass both classes the first time she must be doing something right. Only downside is that there are two pretty much useless group projects that just waste time but assigning them is out of her control.

She is very helpful on every questions I asked. 2 semesters with her, never see her low-temper. Super nice! We always have 30 min. left to solve problems. You'll not have this favor with other "HYBRID" class. Work-load is okay. She grades group project 80% individually, so just complete you own part then you're sure an A.

Best accounting teacher I have had so far. She really takes the time to answer any questions you have. She gives assignments in class that really help prepare you for the exams. She really cares about her students success and makes sure we are putting all our effort into our work. Definitely take this professor, you won't regret it!

I took her for summer and it was pretty intense. There's TONS of reading and the homework is endless. You miss a small amount of homework and quizzes throughout the term will make a BIG impact on your grade. She offers extra credit which is EXTREMELY helpful. Be sure to STUDY! As much as possible to be ready for the final exam, which is difficult!

I took Prof. Manjra in the summer time, and it was definitely was not an easy course. She was very upfront about the difficulty of the class and warned it wouldn't be easy, but in the end like with any class, if you put the work in, you will pass. Lots of reading, homework can take hours, and tests are difficult. I had to take this class twice.

Took this class during the summer and boy was it the toughest thing I've ever done. Remember that this is a hybrid course and much of the work falls on you so be sure to read in advance and do as many problems as possible. If you can get this prof. with full lectures and not hybrid you will be set.

The subject is hard but ms manjar was good in explaining the topics. She gave a schedule at the beginning of the semester so you know what is due and there are a lot of assignments. you have to do the homework. She was on maternity leave for the last half of the semester but would be really good for the whole semester.

She's really clear and super organized. Must do hw and it's time consuming. Study the hw problems and use the study guide and you're set.

I just finished taking her class at Cypress and her class was amazing. I took a few accounting classes in the past but the teachers were so boring and lecture oriented. Mrs. Manjra is all about group work and practice which I like. If you like a more hands-on class style then this is the class for you. 10/10 would take again.

Took ms manjra spring semester, she was helpful letting us know the difficulty of the last part of class. study a lot for the first two exams since the last exam was hard. shes a really good prof and has interesting lectures. she would bring in toys and play money for demonstrations. shes really fair and gives a lot of extra credit to help students

Glad I took this instructor. This is a hard class because of the subject. She had good examples and practice in class. You have to finish a lot of assignments and study to pass.

Stay on top of your HW. Study for the exams, there are 3 of them, the first one being the easiest. Make sure to pick a good group to do your group projects with. She offers TONS of extra credit, do as much as possible. There were a ton of activities to help better understand the material. She is amazing and really cares for her students. Take her!!

So I took her not knowing what to expect in accounting, she is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had. She has 3 tests overall including the final. First two test are very easy and the third is a little more challenging but very easy if you study hard. and do ALL the homework. such easy points and matters in the end.

Just found out extra credit raised my grade up a lot. Make sure you do all the homework and online quizzes, especially the extra credit ones. Ms. Manjra is a really good teacher and does a lot of activities in class to help prepare for exams but you need to make time to study on your own. The last exam was really hard. I like how upfront she is.

I liked her class a lot. She had really good lectures. the last 4 chapters in the book are super hard. I did all the extra credit quizzes and homeworks and it helped a lot. Don't miss her class either.

She's the real MVP. Sometimes I was freaked out as if she could read students' mind because she was THAT prepared, organized, and attached to the courses. She even provided STUDY GUIDES that were prepared by her while she was pregnant. Truly understands how we feel but doesn't tolerate excuses. 95% to 102% overall grade, most generous EC I've seen!

She gave her best in every lecture, spoke very clear and loud so everyone can hear her, provided lots of practice materials and understood student' feelings. The most useful material for me is her Study Guides which I certainly will keep them to review my knowledge in upper courses. I wish Ms. Manjra would teach ACCT102. Best teacher I've had!

Amazing professor! If you want to get a bang for your buck & really learn the accounting basics that you need to succeed in upper level courses, I highly recommend that you enroll in her class. Make sure to read the book, do your homework, complete all the study guides and complete all the worksheets! Definitely possible to get an A!

Mrs. Manjra shows her care for your grade,. She gives so much extra credit and gives constant reminders to study and do your work. If you dont do your homework dont expect an A. This is college and this is an accounting class. If your going to be lazy DO NOT take this class.

I recommend taking ms manjra for acct 101. The topics for this class are hard but ms manjra was great at explaining and gave examples from her auditor work experience. Shes really professional and organized, which was helpful. Do the study guides and online multiple choice practice before each quiz. Lots of extra credit to help! Get a good group!

Great class! One of the best teacher's I've ever had. The class was very organized, she made a difficult subject easy to learn. She gave study guides, and materials that actually helped. Ms. Manjra was available during office hours to answer any questions, and even helped me and the other students with homework. Very clear with what she expects.

Professor Manjra is an excellent professor. Reading before coming to class is recommended. Pay very good attention when doing examples and worksheets in class. I found it best to study the worksheets over and over again. Definitely go to SI and make tutoring appointments when you feel confused on anything so that you dont fall to far behind.

Taking her right now and wishing she would teach acct 102. You do have to prepare for each class. There is so much practice we do in class and she has study guides. Theres a lot of extra credit and tests are ok. She cares a lot so I recommend her.
