He's super funny... a lil crazy at times but makes class very interesting. Open book Midterm AND final! Doesnt just teach from the book but teaches hands on methods to better yourself... its like going to a psychologist but free...LoL

HE is an AWESOME TEACHER!!! He did not give any test's! No mid-Term and No FINAL!!! He just made the class do Summaries for each chapter in the book and a Paper and that is it. He is a really good professor, you just have to do 14 chapter summaries and a 3 page paper about a key term in the book, but its really easy because he makes it very simple, and you have the whole semester.If you take him you'll never regret it, and the class he makes it very interesting.

Great professor had him for Spring 05 term, very easy work, very entertaining you'd hate to miss class, isn't strict with attendance, gave only 3 assignments for the semester take home mid-term and final with about a month and a half in advance and one project, very caring teacher easy A as long as assignments are completed and turned in.

It was definitely the easiest class I've ever taken. He makes it very enjoyable and fun to be a part of. I rarely missed class, and when I did, I regretted it. I would HIGHLY recommend this professor to anyone who wants to enjoy a class while at the same time still learn.

Dr. Sam was AWESOME. The class goes by and you feel as if hes just telling you cool stories about patients he's helped but as it turns out when you go home and read the book what he talked about is exactly what you were supposed to be learning. Ive learned more in this class than any other.

Dr. Sam is a kind, bright individual who makes an effort to give his students insight into many aspects of psychology.It's an engaging class and the midterm and final are take home multiple choice tests. You have to write one paper in the class and everything else is discussion and participation. It's an easy A but you learn at the same time.

Dr. Lopez is defintely the best professor ive ever had in miami dade college-kedall. He is straight foward, honest, and has no problems answering any questions in the class. The class was an essay A, makin sure you show up everyday in class and on time. I makes sure you u know where u stand in class in grades, attendance, etc. Defintely reccommend!

EASY A. A SWEETHEART. Some stuff he teaches is sketchy, but I was never bored. I recommend him. NOTE: He makes you watch a RIDICULOUS movie called "The Secret" which is the dumbest theory EVER. I can't understand how anyone believes that New Age nonsense. The proponents of it are shunned by all REAL physicists. (I was passionately annoyed by it.)

His class is entertaining, educational but somewhat intrusive. There is a big chance he will perform physiological treatment on you. It’s nothing bad, and from the looks of it a lot of people appreciate it, especially those who got over their fears. He is a trauma hunter he-he. He is probably the funniest professor in MDC. Easy A.

Do the chapter summeries and look like you wanna be there some days. i swear thats it. This professor is amazing. He teaches you non-conventional things about psychology and the mysteries of the mind. The stuff he teaches is very much relevant to the real-world (you can apply it easily to yourself and the ones you love). He doesn't have tests...only 3 chapter reviews. Take him...I got an A...so can YOU!

Very fair grading of papers which are due, and the exams are comprehensive, but take home so you have time to review the book to make sure you can get an A. Highly recommend this teacher!

Dr. Sam is amazing. His class is extremly fun. If you dont want to show up, you dont have to. He really dosent care. Hes funny and is a super easy grader. You only have to do 3 short papers in the semester and you have the whole semester to do them! i advise him to anyone!

One of the best teachers I've ever had. Class was boring at times, but Dr. Sam is so full of energy, you never know what he'll do next. He only gave us two tests, the midterm and final, and both were emailed very early on and were take home, open book. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs to take a Psychology class. If you want an easy teacher, TAKE HIM! He is super funny. The only grades you are going to have are mid-term and final exams (which he sends them to you by e-mail so you can do them at home) and a 4-page paper that he doesn't even read. If you really want to learn maybe he is not the best choice but if you want an easy A, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

Some earlier said he does not read papers. Not true. He does this thing (sometimes teaches it to students) called photoreading which you can read insane amounts superfast. You learn but not the traditional way. He is a good communicator.

Honestly his class is a joke. Even though the work was very easy I feel like I did not learn a thing in his class. Yes an easy A but sometimes it's nice to learn a thing or two in college.

One of the easiest courses you will take at Miami Dade College. All he assigns in class is a 4 page essay on 4 topics he assigns (articles he has written) and a take home midterm and final exam of 110 questions. All you do in class is have random psychology talks and personal talks. Overall great guy, just don't expect to learn much.

Great professor all around. He makes his class extremely interesting. You do have to do community hours but they are 7-10hrs in three different clubs that he explains. One of the best professors in MDC hands down. No final, NO Midterm, reviews exams before, Some extra credit.
