He was a great professor, actually out in the world of teaching. Class was interesting and easy. Class went by quickly!

He was great! Very down-to-earth and helpful. Also very funny. His lectures were clear and to-the-point. He didn't waste time. He was understanding and didn't force deadlines, realizes we are all adults with lives. Only downfall is that he is a tar heels fan!

Dr. Misher is kind, and is loved by his students. The shortcomings of his class is that he doesn't get to finish points very often because students bombard him with questions. Classes mostly consist of very specific questions that students SHOULD ask via email, but instead do during class. It gets very frustrating to make it through classes.

Dr. Misher was absolutely wonderful. The course content was difficult at times but he did an excellent job of taking the material and making it more manageable. The paper at the end was most of the grade. But, he worked with you and you submitted it in sections for feedback (not all at once). He was excellent at responding to emails/questions.

Grade consists of one paper, three sections (rough drafts of each,) and a final draft. His instructions are clear and concise, easy to follow, and completely achievable. He is available for help, and clearly wants you to succeed. I definitely was nervous going into the class; not now! This paper was new territory, but challenging in a good way!

This is a difficult class by nature. Dr. Misher does a great job of breaking your research paper up into three manageable parts, and you put them together at the end for your final paper. You do the work and ask questions, you will pass! I would take him again for any other class.

Fair on the grading. The powerpoint can be a bit confusing because different slides will ask for different things. Too many people asked questions, so I don't think he got to do the lectures in a way that would have been more beneficial.

Prof Misher makes what could be an overwhelming class, very manageable. Of course there is going to be a lot of writing in this class, it is a research class, but he breaks into sections. This makes it seem much easier to handle. He goes over each section very well so you know exactly what he is looking for. I would take him again for any class!!

Dr. Misher made the course very doable and in the end I was way less intimidated by research. He broke the paper up into sections so it wasn't a large load at once. He is an easy grader as long as you follow all of the guidelines he sets up for you. I ended up with a 100 in the class just by going off of the rubric!

The class is structured around the writing of one research paper. Like most online classes you will not actually learn a ton about the topic. This class does not get into the mechanics of how to actually conduct effective research. You will learn to write a decent research paper though and it is an easy to follow, relativity stress free class.

He broke the paper up into sections and allowed us to have more time if we needed it. I was really dreading this class, but it was great with Dr. Misher!

This is a course that a lot of people freak out over. After taking it, I don't get where the dread and stress come from. That's probably a credit to Dr. Misher's teaching style. Everything is clearly broken into very manageable parts and he takes the time to make sure you understand. I definitely recommend him for this course.

You have to attend class to get clear instruction on the assignments. The assignment information is not available on the syllabus or online, but he clearly explains it during class sessions. Attendance is mandatory anyway.

The course could easily be very challenging but the professor breaks the material down in a manner that makes the class easy. In addition, if there are any major mistakes on the assignments, students are able to edit and resubmit for a better grade. He is very accessible outside of class time and responds quickly to emails. One of the best.

He will provide feedback and is available through email & text. The EDOL 630 course is a course everyone hates but he is great at presenting the information & helping you every step of the way!

He is very nice and caring. This is my second time taking this course due to the first instructor failing me. I wish I took him to the get go! He doesnt want a student to fail and willing to get the student to fix papers. Im currently pregnant and he work with me and told me not to worry about missing class which I got all my work turn in early!

Great Professor. Very understanding

Excellent teacher. The class was full of useful information, and I learned a lot.

Really great guy. Classwork was straight forward and easy to work with.

Dr. Misher is a fair and consistent teacher I would be happy to take other classes that he offers.

Not a hard class at all. He didn't require textbook reading but there were weekly assignments, and class participation was expected.

He was a great professor. He understood that we are very busy, and did not overload us with work. He structured this class around helping us learn new ways to teach our students.

Professor Misher wanted and liked for students to share experiences and teaching styles they use. He wanted us to get tips and ideas from each other that we could use in our classroom.

He is very laid back, professional, and expects the work to be done. But the rigor of the course is minimal, which is nice as a student. He provides great information as well! I would strongly suggest him as an instructor.

Dr. Misher is very caring with regard to the students that his education students will be going out into the world to instruct. He is an amazing teacher full of a lifetime of knowledge. Thanks for sharing Doc!!

This professor lectures where amazing, he was so full of wisdom. The assignments were challenging and beneficial.

I like how we all shared ideas and strategies. We interacted with each other in small groups and learned from each other, too.

The teacher gave clear instructions throughout class on Tuesdays, reachable by email and phone opened an online class on time, and Online Savvy with group breakout rooms and students shared projects in breakout rooms! The assignments are posted after the teacher lesson and then students can begin the assignment right after class is over.

This professor was very unders tanding. If there was a reason that you could not make it to / on class, he understood and did not count it against you. would 100% take a class with him again

He was very understanding and made math easier to understand the how and why of teaching it to special education students.

This professor is easy and to the point. He explains what he wants to see for the assignments. He is available at most times to answer any questions about any assignments. I would take him again.

I really enjoyed Mr. Misher's enthusiasm toward this class and the content. I could tell in his lectures that he is sincere about his knowledge and the learning of others. I would take a class under him again!

Professor Misher is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructor. His classes are engaging, and he's understanding of students' needs. unstuck study ai was a great study tool alongside the course materials.
