Professor Murugan is one of the best Math Professors, The homework come with unlimited attempts and is due in a week. There is a 6 Quizzes for each module and can be taken at Home. 3 Test and Final, which are so easy since he uses the day before the test to review a packet that is almost identical to the real one. Lots of extra credit is offered.

The professor breaks everything down in detail and explains the material very well. He also allows us to start the homework in class so that we don't have to worry about it at home. The tests and quizzes are clear and as long as you study and do your work you'll pass with an excellent grade.

i would totally recommend this class to my peers because the professor is passionate about the class and it ensures that most if not all students understand the content. He makes sure everyone understands the problems and makes sure everyone is on the same page. Assignments are easy as long as you pay attention and do your work.

Mat-1033c intermediate algebra was my first ever on campus class Ive ever took. Intermediate Algebra is not my best subject. He is a great professor that teaches very well especially with lectures, gives homework that actually helps, and gives many opportunities to pass the class. Murugan is my absolute favorite. He makes the class funny and interesting. At times he can go a little fast but if you have questions he will answer them. The tests are VERY similar to the practice tests so make sure you do those. Even the practice for the final was similar to the actual final. I 10/10 recommend taking him before his class fills.

Although Im not good at math and dont really like it, professor Murugan made it easier for me. Hes a great teacher and always prepares you for the test. I recommend him 100%!

The class was pretty straight forward, and he was a pretty good teacher. Only critique is that he talks pretty fast, but he doesnt really notice so when you ask him to slow down he will. All the work is pretty easy and hes willing to work with you.

What an outstanding professor. I personally have a history at being awful at math (considering, with a different prof, I failed MAT 1033C with an F!) but this man makes calculus easier for you and you still learn it! I think you should take him for every math class he offers at poinciana campus!

I took Professor Murugan in the fall of 2019 semester for intermediate algebra and now for college algebra he hasn't changed. Amazing teacher, knows the course well, and very forgiving. Took this class during the Corona Virus situation and he provided videos, extra credit, and raised grades. Course is not difficult, do the work and come to class.

Professor Murugan is a great professor! He is patient and understands that you may not get the material so he will re-explain when needed. The shift from FacetoFace to Online was a difficult transition for most but Murguan was able to provide very useful links to videos of every lesson and provide extra credit when needed. Show up to class.

He makes notes for each section using homework problems, gives review questions for quizzes and final exam. During face to face contact, he would teach the section very simple and understandable, but you have to pay attention because he moves fast. In the end, with his lessons and notes, I was able to do the assignments with ease.

When we moved to online because of Covid I was really worried. But the professor made the online part just like he was teaching in class. Videos and notes that show eactly how to do the work and understand it. He extended the hw a few times to make sure we got the work done.

I took Professor Murugan for MAC1105 (summer 2020) and WOW he was an amazing professor. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our classes were moved to an online mode. I was skeptical about taking an online math class but professor Murugan was very thorough in his lectures and his notes were extremely useful. I would take this professor again!!

Wow I Took this Professor over the Summer was very unsure about an online Algebra class but he provided videos, notes and very clear examples in order for you to complete your work. I took his college algebra class for the condensed summer semester, it was relaxing. All the lessons were laid out and taught in full detail. He doesn't punish learning and has unlimited homework attempts till the deadline. Drops the lowest scores for your assignments, and surprised us all by reactivating every past module the week of finals.

I have taken Professor Murugan for multiple mathematics classes (both online and in class) and HIGHLY recommend him. He is awesome at explaining/showing you how to work out the problems (via Youtube videos if taken online). He shows you the long way and short way in finding the right answer. This class is super easy that there is no way to fail this class. Intermediate Algebra is not that hard, but some people struggle with math in general. Fortunately, Professor Murugan provided recorded lectures helping you understand how to solve problems. As for the homework itself, the recorded lectures are based off of the work. Good luck!

There are weekly assignments that are easy if you follow the notes given along with the subject. The tests are open notes which makes them exponentially easy if you are already good at math or are able to follow the methods as well as there being no mandatory zoom meetings, just module videos going over the subjects for that week with examples.

I really liked this professor. all homework assignments are easy A's and the tests and quizzes give you 3 tries and he always provided extra credit opportunities on the exams.

M is amazing he gave lectures but he was always clear with them and he allow us to have a guide during quizzes and test to make it helpful for us, he is caring and respectful I did also have him for Intermediate algebra and the issue was the homework because a few questions weren't really similar college algebra was more understanding.

I would marry him. I suck at math and got an A. Videos are super easy to understand. 2-3 HW assignments are assigned every week but super easy some times its homework and a quiz. Only exams use honor lock not the quizzes. There's 3 exams and a final exam. He extends dead lines and super understanding and even let me retake the final.

Awesome teacher! Seriously cared a lot about his students and the class environment altogether. Hes very understanding, so make sure to communicate with him. His class was based on videos for each topic of the chapter and each exam was based on each chapter. His lessons were very well explained through video, which allows us to go back when we needed, and the assignments were fairly easy to do after seeing each video. Assignment structure is the highlight. Every chapter has around 1-5 parts to complete, with some having as few as 4 questions but usually around 15-25 (numbers not exact). Due dates are spread out, so LOTS of time to work. Quiz questions are extremely similar to chapter tests. Study the quiz, you'll pass the test. Honorlock + webcam tests.

Calculus is one of those subjects where everyone inevitably dreads to take and hopes they hit the lottery when it comes to easy A classes. Professor Murugan is probably the closest you can ever get to receiving an easy A while also getting the necessary learning experience when taking his course. 1000/10 would recommend to anyone looking to learn.

Professor Murugan is absolutely my favorite professor. I took him online for MAT1033/Intermediate Algebra. His material is easy to learn and everything is literally given to you. There are 33 Homeworks, they range from 5-20 questions. Then there are 6 quizzes and 5 tests. For tests, he gives you the study guide, the question exactly the same.

Prof. Murugan will tell you exactly what you need to pass his class. Follow his lectures and DO the work. I have taken two of his classes already, going for my third. I cannot see myself learning math from another professor. He is also available through his phone, feel free to text him when you need help. A MUST TAKE PROFESSOR.

I am pretty good at math but his videos made the class even easier, I was able to finish his class a month early and it was a summer course. He uses honor lock but that isn't much of a problem. There's 4 tests with a practice quiz for each one that are basically exactly the same except for different numbers. The homework's have unlimited try's.

Do anything you can to get him he is amazing!!! He does videos to guide you thru the homework and the way he explains the problems in his videos are so clear is impossible not to understand and get a good grade. He also does reviews for the quizzes and test which is really helpful. Really there is no way you cant get a good grade with him.

This is the second course I've taken with Prof Murugan. His lectures are clear and he really wants the entire class to succeed. There is an easy extra credit opportunity on the final exam. If you want a fair chance at earning an A in this course I would definitely recommend him!

Proff. Murugan is a legend. He is my favorite proff on campus. Recorded lectures and hw reviews. 2-3 hw each week, same questions as the reviews. HW unlimited attempts, tests 3 attempts, exam 1 attempt and proctored by Honorlock. You can use his notes for the test. Take him and you won't regret it.

I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR. His lectures were so easy to understand (a little long tho, up to an hour). His reviews/quizzes are identical to the test which was really helpful. The tests did have honorlock but they were usually short around 10 questions. He gives several chances for extra credit and gives a lot of extensions! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Professor Murugan was a great teacher. I was in a mixed mode class so I would see him once a week in person. He will teach you the HW question by question on mymathlab. He gives plenty of guides for HW, quizzes, and tests so you will always be prepared. He also offers plenty of extra credit and will take away your lowest graded assignments.

I absolutely would recommend this course to anyone looking to take business calculus. I have never succeeded in a college level math course as much as I have with Prof. Murugan. Im so glad I took Professor Murugan! Its really hard to not pass this class with an A or a B. He provides step by step videos for the homework, quizzes, and exams. He lets us use his provided notes for exams that help so much . Take him if you can !

Murugans class is easy as long as you do the work. The homework may be a little much sometimes but its usually two homework assignments per week. If you take the notes or even look at them the homework will probably be very easy. Only four tests throughout the course and they have like 10 questions. Hes a nice guy and pretty understanding.

Professor Murugan made statistics so easy I even ended the course with a grade of 101.27 due to extra credit and great lectures. Mr. Murugan only gives you work that is necessary and explains everything thoroughly that will be on quizzes and exams so nothing is ever a surprise.

He is an easy-going professor who can help you on any assignment, late work is allowed but some points may get taken off. The homework even has examples you can go off on, he also drops the 3 lowest homework, 1 lowest quiz, test, and show work assignment. The lectures mainly contain him going over the homework or test. This is coming from a dual enrollment student, this class was super easy, he posted weekly announcements on Mondays for what the work was for the week, due that Sunday. He goes through the assignments in lecture videos and he drops the lowest three HW, one lowest show work activity, and one lowest quiz grade, he is the best teacher you can have.

If you want a professor that want to see student pass take this class. he teaches you the tricks that will help you on your test and home works. he gives a lot of chances just attend class and speak with him. also email him if you have any issues. this is one of the few professors who wants to see everyone pass.

Professor Murugan has been one of my favorite teachers while attending Valencia. His classes are honestly very straight forward and easy to understand. Most of the work is done on mymathlab and the work is due on Sundays which is plenty of time to complete. Take his class, you are guaranteed to pass as long as you do the work!

This is so far one of my favorite professors in college! He really cares about his students and does a study guide for each quiz/test so it's hard to not pass. Gives a lot of extra credit and de drops the lowest quiz, and homework at the end of the semester.

Great Professor. His lectures are amazing and he shows you the exact kind of questions you'll see on the homework. He also does one at the end of each chapter to review for the quiz, which also has the same style of questions as the quiz. There are 1-3 lessons due each week and 4 quizzes and tests. He also drops your lowest quiz grade too.

Professor Murugan was a very good Professor! I highly recommend taking this class. It is very simple and easy to understand. There are 5 tests but each test comes with a review which is very similar to the test making it so that if you can do the review you can pass the test. If you pay attention to the test study guides than you will pass!

If your looking to get {A} just register now. This professor actually takes time to teach you and he has video online as a plus if you are behind. He gives you tips and tricks to not fail the class, he makes Math so easy. He's the #1 Math professor. You just need to study a little bit and attend class, there's no way you will fail.

Give him a chance its rare to find professors who give good opportunities for extra credit and give you neat straight forward tips to ace the test. Even as someone who despises math I liked his humor and how straight forward he was with teaching.

His lectures completely walk you through how to do your homework and understand each concept. He is very responsive and as long as you do the work you will get an A!

I took him for precalculus algebra (MAC1140).Definitely take this professor. The lectures were very clear and easy to understand. If you put in a few hours a week and really understand the material, you will get a good grade. He uses honorlock for tests but if you do the reviews and quizzes before, then it is easy to get a good grade.

great professor! all the modules were posted in advance so you could work on your own pace, and every sunday there was just a few homework assignments to do based on the learning modules. there are many chances to increase your grade, quizzes have multiple attempts and are just like the tests. he is very easy to reach through canvas email.

If you need MAC1105 and/or MAC1140 please take this professor! Super accessible, well-paced, and very straightforward material. He uses pearson mathlab for every assignment; exams are proctored with honorlock but don't let that scare you. You get plenty of time on the exams and can use provided notes. I highly recommend any of his courses!

Professor Samuel murugan os the best I ever had for a math I would take his class again and again if I could. The homework and test are so easy he gives lecture videos explaining the homework and gives test reviews to help you practice for the test.

Professor Murugan includes videos of notes, along with pictures of said notes for every lesson. He has review notes before every quiz/test and goes through all problems in them. The final exam, quizzes, and tests were in the same format as the homework, so it wasn't at all unexpected or hard to understand. Extra credit is also offered.

Easy class with 7 main chapters, online videos for each topic (some are slightly long, can skip through) Videos match with quizzes, assignments, and tests. Quick Pearson homework, 3 honor lock tests with prep videos, and 4 extra credit opportunities. The professor drops lowest 3 assignments and 1 quiz grade. Expect an A with minimal effort.

Professor Murugan's MAC2233 course was one of the easier math courses I have taken so far, not because the material was easy but because of how easy he made learning the material. If you take this course, do the reviews, the homework assignments and the quizzes multiple times, you shouldn't have an issue passing any of the exams/tests.

TAKE Him, the only "bad thing" was the attendance. you only get 2 "excused" but they're still graded. the tests are on honor lock though. i'm bad at math and it is very manageable because he gives you study guides/ reviews that you can use when taking the tests.

I wish all professors were like Mr. Murugan. His quiz really prepares you for the test and final test. He is an awesome teacher. He replies super fast and answered all my questions. I would take him for sure.

We had 2 homeworks due every Sunday. Sometimes there'd be a quick show your work question. Quizzes taken before the test and are VERY SIMILAR. He gives a review of the test with a video that covers it. Tests are proctored but you're allowed to use notes. He dropped some of our lowest grades at the end as well. Very understanding. Great Professor!

Best College Algebra professor, he really does care about us passing the class and explains everything very well. Drops 3 lowest grades at the end of course and he gives extra credit too. If you have the opportunity to have him as your professor, please take him. he is amazing!

I usually have a hard time with math courses but this professor was extremely helpful! Not only did we have lessons in class, but all the notes he took in class he posted them on canvas for us to look back to and study. He is a great teacher and his class is very easy if you put in the effort. Easy to reach and communicate with outside of class.

Personally I really enjoyed taking the class. I would say he does go a little fast when talking, so just take picture of the board if you are a slow writer. He is very pro-student, super easy to talk to. If you do have any questions he will email you almost immediately.

Stop looking for a professor and just take him already! He is absolutely amazing; if you take him online, he might sound mean in his video, but trust me when I tell you he isn't. Professor Sam tries to help you in so many ways, even giving you study guides to help you with the test. He is also accessible after class!

There are reviews for all of the tests that are the same kind of questions as the tests. You can also use the review for the test and other notes. There is also extra credit offered at the end of the course. The assignments for this class were not bad. I would take this professor again.

Professor Murugan is an excellent and caring math professor. Quizzes are similar to the test and help ensure you know and learn the material. If you take the time to pass the quizzes (multiple attempts and very similar to the tests) you will leave the class both knowledgeable and happy with your grade.

TAKE THIS CLASS. It is so easy and Mr. Murugan really wants you to pass. There is a ton of extra credit and only a few tests. There is a quiz before every test that is exactly like the test. So take notes and you'll be fine. The tests are 10 questions and honorlocked. There are a few assignments a week with unlimited attempts. Super easy, loved it.

If you struggle with math, definitely take this class. Easy to understand lectures and this professor makes sure your prepared for any upcoming quizzes and test. There is a good amount of homework, but you get plenty of time to do it and you'll never go into a test blind.

Mr. Murugan was an amazing professor. If you take him you will find yourself with an easy A if you apply yourself. He gives clear spoken lectures and walks you through on how to do the math. Mr. Murugan is an amazing math professor. He gives clear instructions for all of his assignments and uploads amazing lectures for both online and in-person classes. All of his tests have quizzes that mirror the tests themselves and you can use whatever notes you want on all tests,including the final. I'm 100% confident that you will love his class.

I took an online class during the summer semester. The instructor organized everything really well, making it easy to follow. The work was straightforward, and you are almost guaranteed to pass the class with a high grade. Honorlock was required, but there were always quizzes to prepare for the tests. I highly recommend his math classes.

I thought it would be difficult to take math online but, he made it very easy. The lessons (videos) range from give or take an hour to 30 minutes. He is clear with instruction and his lessons; everything you need to know will be there in the videos and notes. It's all very organized and clear on what you need to do each week. Would take him again.

This professor will make sure that you are able to complete your work in a manner that is convenient for all students to get it done very quickly during class time.Therefore, it leaves students with time to themselves outside of class to not have to worry about homework as much. He's a sweet teacher, and I would recommend him. He doesn't do PowerPoint, he does the work with you( helped a lot). My only issue with him is that he's very dry- like I loved him, but sometimes his way of teaching became very boring to me. Other than that, his class is very easy and it's almost impossible to fail unless you're not doing the work

He has an accent, is monotone, and can go really fast when teaching, but he is very caring and sweet. Please do not sit where he will block the board; sit in the middle. Tests, quizzes, and HW are all very similar to what he teaches in his lectures. Allows notes for tests, which are also proctored. Will drop your lowest test grade. Easy class !

Professor Samuel Murugan was a great instructor. The class has a moderate amount of assignments. Tests will be weighed heavily. Make sure to study and read the modules and you will succeed in the class. Exams are honor locked. Quizzes are not. You have two attempts on quizzes. Highest score is kept. Lowest quiz score in the class is dropped.

Coursework was a bit difficult, but he always clarified and corrected questions if they were worded weird. He did the hw with us in class as practice, so if you attended, you would know how to solve the problems if you took notes. Honorlock is used but he's very understanding about technical issues.

Professor Murugan literally changed my mind on how

This class was amazing! Literally changed how I view college classes. He set the tone in the very beginning and allowed the class to feel calm, and comfortable. No crazy amounts of work, and the way he explained how every concept, and simplified math equations is like no other! Everyone needs to take a class with him.

This was one of the best courses I've taken! It was easy to navigate and follow along for each module. His test reviews practically mimicked what would be on the test, which he also allows you to use your notes, too. The Professor drops a few grades by the end of the semester & offers extra credit. I honestly wish all of my classes were like his.

Goes over through every question of the homework every lecture. Only took two test, both open notes and he gives you a study guide that is the exact same. The midterm and finals are in person but are easy. He does have one quiz on each chapter but they are the same has the homework and its online.

I took Prof. Murugan and class was great! The class is mostly online based as all the assignments are on myMathLab and per week the assignments range from 1-4 with the 4 usually including the weekends where there was a test and quiz as well. Most tests are online and non-proctored with 1 test, midterm, and final required in-person.

Amazing professor, can genuinely say id take his class again with no hesitation. Two big test in the semester & both were open notes, he gives you all the tools you need to pass. Im horrible at math & can confidently say hes the first professor ive ever actually understood.

He could be fast at times but he really explains how to do the math very well. He assigns 2 homework assignments every week but he goes over every question in class so it's not hard. For the mid term and final he gave us a packet to review as a class and we could use it for the day of the final so that was really helpful.

I really liked this class, it was easy, we had a maximum of 3 tasks per week andIf I'm not mistaken, we did 5 tests he always gave us a quiz before the test to practice, we don't use textbook but it is always available, on the homework page and that is paid, pay attention and do everything assigned and you get an A.
