He is a great professor. I had him for calc in summer 2 and I really enjoyed his class. He is very clear and very helpfull. With a minimum effort you can get a good grade. Ihighly recomend him!

He is the easiest Calculus professor in this school. The only thing you need to do is to do his review problems, and you can easily get an A. In addition, his final is optional if you get good grades in the previous tests, so try take this opportunity.

Professor Park is a really nice person, he gives out reviews that are nearly to identical the 1st 3 exams....I would highly reccomend him!

He tries to crack jokes, but most of the time, they are corny. But he does state out problems you need to know very clearly. Make sure to do the homework because it is helpful at the end!

park is a really really good calc prof. i took him for the summer session and thought i was going to do horrible. his tests are pretty fair only if you practice problems. the review sheet should be a must. no need to buy the textbook. he is funny at times...dont get on his bad side though he might just crack jokes on you.......

Don't take him in the summer. If you're expecting to go in with no intention to do work, expect a C without a doubt. He strictly goes by your 4 cumulative exams-if you get a 65 or lower on the first exam, it will be extremely hard for you to even get an A-. He's extremely helpful though, and he hands out a review sheet that's VERY similar to tests

Park is definitely the best professor every... man of few words ... He definitely teaches everything crystal clear. He gives review sheets before the test and usually his review sheet is exactly whats on the tests with numbers changed. Straight foward guy ... this is the first math class that will keep you up without falling asleep.

took him for cal 1. impossible to pass no matter how hard you study. gives review sheets but twist the questions on the final which confuses the hell outta you. if you cant get pass 65 on the first test, it is impossible to pass. no drop grade. a lot of people drop out and fail. uw are given out upon request

This Korean man has been teaching calculus for 45years in LIU. People who are giving rude comments about him are idiots about math, thats why they complain every math teacher in the world. Here's some statistics about his grading, more than half of the class gets As from him, and that's about why his class gets filled up so quickly on the roster.

Nice guy. Easy A. If you want to learn calculus, definitly take him. He saves your time by directly telling you what you have to do to each question in order to the them right.! half of class got A or A-!

Best math professor i ever had. He is so funny and really know what he teaching. No use to bye the textbook because all you need to do is come to class everyday and copy all the notes cause it will be on the test. A week before the test he give you a review and the test is just the same but different numbers. take him if you hat math

Prof Park is awesooooome. His tests are straight from his reviews just change the numbers and maybe changes one question to make it trickier. and he will tell u ur overall grade so if u dont wanna take the final u dont have to if ur happy with ur grade. so even if u hate math he will make calc intersting definitely take him and u'll get an easy A-

TOO EASY! I got an A on every test! & A for the course! he gives a review sheet before every test and the test is the same as the review sheet except changed numbers. he also lets you have a "cheat sheet" for every test. it's impossible to fail unless you don't pay attention. TAKE HIM ! HIS CLASS FILLS UP QUICKLY!

Contrary to what everyone says, Prof. Park is not an easy professor at all... But yes, he is the best out of all the professors... You have 3-4 exams, and basically screwing up 1 test will screw your entire grade.. You need a 94 for an A... The exams are changed numbers...avoid the green test!! Take either pink or blue and do review sht 15 times.

Easy class. Studying is mandatory. Attendance is an absolute MUST. 4 exams, doesn't drop the lowest grade. Based test off review sheets. Extremely sarcastic, but a good professor. Attendance and homework don't count towards final grade. Final grade is based on 4 exams.

He goes fast. You have to keep u with him or else you're done. He says his first test determines the whole grade, which frustrates you even more. He's nice n tries to crack jokes but if you don't like math then don't take him. You'll be lost!

Ok, Please please believe me when I say this professor is overrated. He is in fact a very hard class to get an A in. He might explain calc the best but he's very hard to ace. If you do bad on 1 exam ur basically screwed... He doesn't curve or anything eighter... TAKE HIM ONLY IF UR UP FOR A GOOD CHALLANGE!!

If you are willing to work, this class is easy. Only if you don't give up like some.

Prof. Park seems like a tough guy at first, but he is really a sweetheart. He is willing to go over things as many times as necessary if you ask him to, & he takes note of who comes to class & who is paying attention. He gives homework & review sheets for each test. Do the work, it is JUST LIKE the test! Doesn't drop the lowest test score.

Freaking easiest class ever if you fail you're dumb all you have to do is show up copy the problems and do it over and over until you know it. Why? Because he copies the questions and puts them on the tests. You need no text book you don't even need to listen all you need is your eyes a good calculator and common sense

At first I was running a C average but then I realized the trick to getting a good grade in this class was to repeat the problems he did in class over and over again. By doing this I managed to pull an A-!!

An old school professor. Practice his review sheet over and over again, you certainly pass. A brilliant maths professor. Take him you will do well. Note that he is a tough grader and never drop low grade.

THIS professor is very mean and heartless. I only recommend taking him if you are a very good math student a student that got 700's in the SAT MATH section they can handle him . he know math and will mess you up . take camilian he the best easy and curves and very sweet .

An extremely easy A. He gives extra credit, easy exams (just like the reviews), and he adds 2 points to your final grade. Only 4 exams, the fourth one usually counts as the final. Pay attention in class and practice the problems he puts on the board and the review prolems and you will probably ace the exams. Takes attendance

The quizzes he gives are meant to help you in adding extra points to your grade. He adds 2 points to your final grade. TAKE HIM!! Don't listen to the other comments!

Park is the best math professor in LIU. As long as you pay attention and take good notes you should be fine. For the exams they are similar to the review sheet and he goes over the review sheet. Definitely take him if you want an A.

THIS MAN IS A GOD SEND. best math professor at liu. i went from a D to a B by taking his class, and aim terrible at math. take good notes because he allows cheat sheets on his exams! if you like your average at the end of the course, you don't even have to take the final, also gives extra credit and adds 2 points to your average.

If you care he will care he's sarcastic but he is also clear, there's no tricks. 4 tests and a final each are based off of review sheets and all he does is change the numbers for the actual test. Your allowed a cheat sheet for the test.

He's knowledgeable and witty because he's been teaching for so long, but he can also be slow and forgetful due to his age. I had a hard time getting used to his accent and teaching style at first, but his class is really a gift if you put in the time. Show up, copy down everything he writes, and study the review problems religiously!

Easy A, he tends to joke around in class but he explains each problem in class well. All his exams are open book and he gives you a review sheet on whats going to be on the exam exactly. make sure to take good notes. Overall hes a great professor that helps you

Professor Park is a great guy and wants everyone to do well and pass. You just have to put in the work and show effort. He may not drop an exam, but he gives a lot extra credit. You need to attend class, which hes very big one. He has a good sense of humor and likes to laugh. He might come off strong, but doesnt mean any harm, just passionate.

Give lots of quizzes for extra credit! Make sure to do well on his quizzes they will help boost your grade, it will be average into your test average. He's funny and helps his students actually learn.

Professor Park is an amazing professor. He explains hard calc concepts/problems in a very easy way. He is not joking when he says his way is easier and he wants you to use it. Please don't be rude to him. HE WANTS YOU TO PASS. His tests are SUPER easy AND he gives you a review sheet identical to the exam to study beforehand AND you can bring a cheat sheet for each test. He makes a couple of mistakes here and there but he is so sweet and makes all the math super easy

Professor Park is not very good at remote learning, in terms of working Zoom, but he is open to suggestions and tries his best to make sure you are learning and understand the material. He gives review sheets every chapter and the tests are almost identical to them. As long as you know how to solve those problems, you will be fine on the test.

We called him papi Samuel. Hes tough but the whole class took advantage of the fact he didnt know anything about technology. His phone number got leaked and it was all over...

he jokes around a lot, never takes anything he says seriously. he curves to those he likes and those who try. This class was the easiest class I've taken this semester. I only joined when going over the review sheet since they're literally the same as. the exam. just follow what he writes. takes points off if you do work your own way. hilarious

I loved Professor Park. At the beginning of each unit, he'll hand out a review sheet that is basically the format of the test. He'll go over how to solve each question thoroughly (and multiple times if you ask him to show it again). Solve the problems EXACTLY how he wants you to on the test and you'll get a guaranteed 90+. tldr: easy+dont slack A

Park is a good professor. He goes through everything step by step and slowly. Some of his flaws however include: (1) makes multiple mathematical errors, (2) very slow, boring and exhausting, (3) handwriting is non-legible sometimes and randomly throws numbers in/out of problems. Professor Park makes the course very manageable. His lectures can be tricky to follow, but the review sheets he provides are basically the exams with different numbers. Solving those review problems is key to doing well. unstuck study was a great supplement for test prep alongside the review sheets.
