dude this professor was a pretty good one. his accent is hard to understand but u get the hang of it. he seems strict and dull but he has his funny moments...just make sure to go to lecture and do ur hw and understand the material...he's pretty good at teaching...

He is a great professor. His class is easy and very fun. He teaches very well and shows very similar and even identical problems that will be on the test. He grades very genorously too. He is a great professor and I highly recommend him.

He is a strict teacher but funny and humourous too. He grades very fairly and if you try you will pass the class. The class rocks. His tests are pretty easy and you will enjoy the class.

He is very good teacher , gives long breaks , tests easy, easy grading , good communication , just do the daily homeworks and learn the material at least two hours at home and you will get easy A . Ask questions before class and tests and he will help you . tests are very identical to what he gives before test day .

Great teacher, but you have to do the homework and take notes. On test days, he reveiws for half the class with questions right from the tests, then the rest of the class time you have to complete it. He's awesome. He also helps alot on the tests when he sees you are stuck but trying he kinda guides you to the answer.

I liked this professor. He is very helpful and really wants people to pass the class. He even helps during exam if you are stuck, he can give you a hint. I actually enjoyed this math class.

At first, he seems intimidating and difficult, but once you give it a couple of weeks he is very fair. I actually think hes an easy grader. He favors those who attend, participate and study...He is a wonderful person to take :)

I taken this teacher in Fall 2008. He is a very good teacher. Whenever you need help with your homework he is grateful to help you during class and office hours.

Do not be intimidated by his demands during the start of the course. He gets easier and he gets a lot funnier as the course goes along. He is very helpful and assists you with problems on the tests. Attendance is a must!! Take him, you will love him.

Amazing prof. He's the old school type. He's from Europe, which makes him very wise in his area. If u got the opportunity to take him, then TAKE HIM! A little rough with his english, but understandable and very funny guy. If you don't love math or just want to cruise through a class this isn't the one. I have learned a lot though.

He explains the material very well! Yes, he may have an accent, but he is very helpful and when you ask a question he makes sure everyone understands it then he moves on. His tests aren't the basic questions from the textbook, but rather a little medium/hard questions. NOT IMPOSSIBLE. trust me, if he sees you trying, he will bump up your grade!

Dr. Hovasepian is a good teacher, helpful and nice. cares about students. He would seem strict at the beginning of the semester but not later ! you just have to do all the homework and you will get an A. Good Luck

Very nice teacher...He explains every thing in class and answers to all the questions that students ask. Just do your homework and attend his classes and you will pass with a good grade...He also gives partial credit on pop quizzes...and don't forget to study your homework for tests...

He was the best math professor I have ever had, not just at gcc but in general. He has lectures just as any math professor would but they aren't boring you actually learn. Yes he give homework but if you do it you get full credit, gives study guides for every test & final, grades easy. Best professor by far I recommd& would take him again!!

Pro. Hovasapyan is amazing, explain every single detail. I am taking math 102 with him for the first time this semester and i am very lucky to enroll in his class . He is an organized and straightforward person. His tests are everything that we covered on his lecture and from the home work assignment. Thank you Mr. Havasapyan.

He clearly explains everything, but he covers a lot in a day (3-4 sections a day). The homework is not a lot at all, you have a week or so to do each chapter, but if you pile it to the last day you WILL NOT finish. His tests are super easy. The homework is harder than the tests, so if you do the homework you'll ace the tests.

The best professor I have ever had for any math class. Would definitely take him again. He cares about every student unless you don't respect him (cheat or text during class). Explains everything very well.

I like him, he's very concise in what he does. His personality is a little intense, he's still kind though. So far, attendance is mandatory. He does care about his students, he reminds me of a parent. Always reminding us to do homework.

I took this professor in summer 2017, and in all honestly he is one of the most caring professors I've had. He was students to work hard, to homework, study and pass, and he will repeat anything a student does not understand. He seems harsh at first, but he is amazing. DO all the homework assigned, attend class daily, pay attention, you will pass.

I took the course over the summer and yes, it is HARD. He goes through lectures quite fast considering we only had 6 weeks to finish the course objectives; however, his exams and pop quizzes are very fair in that they are exactly like the homework and lecture problems. He is a generous grader and a humorous lecturer.

I took this class over the summer, and it was a tough class but he was very helpful and a generous grader. He collects homework, but the test are almost exactly similar to the Homework. His demeanor is misleading he seems mean but really he is nice, sometimes funny.

Phenomenal professor who cares about his students and makes learning Math an excellent task. His tests are good, he explains and is helpful, and even gives study guides for tests which make taking his class all the more enjoyable. I definitely recommend taking his class.

I have no clue how anyone could not give this Professor 5 stars. He's so clear with what he expects on the tests and he practically tells you what type of questions he'll ask on the quiz. He's a solid prof. and absolutely isn't trying to make the class harder than it needs to be. Give it any amount of effort and you should get a decent grade.

The test is pretty much identical to the homework, so just don't skip on the homework and the tests should be a breeze.
